SAGE'S FACE remained serious while she's busy cleaning Avenight's wound.
Hindi umiimik ang asawa kaya hindi niya na rin binalak na kausapin muna ito.
The wounds on his back are so deep. He really tried hurting himself even if he's not capable of feeling that.
She figured out that her husband did this to himself because of the size of his wounds, and she have no idea why would he even harm himself.
"You spoke like a grown-up woman earlier." Avenight broke the silence between them. Lumabas pa ang mahinang tawa sa bibig ng lalaki.
Mahina niyang hinampas ang balikat ng lalaki. "Nang-aasar ka lang, hubby, eh."
Mas lumakas ang tawa ng asawa niya. Dahan-dahan itong humarap at maingat na kinuha ang kamay niya bago halikan 'yon.
"You can stop now, baby. I'll let a doctor take care of this, okay?" Avenight lifted her hand a bit to kiss her wrist. "You should rest."
Buti na lang at natapalan niya na rin ng mga gasa ang sugat ng lalaki. Mas mabuti kung hindi rin itong masyadong gagalaw para hindi bumuka ang mga sugat nito.
"Why did you do this to yourself, hubby?" seryosong tanong ni Sage.
"Did what exactly, my wife?" tanong ng asawa.
"You hurt yourself, I'm sure you're the reason behind your own wounds. Ang dami mong latay sa likod mo, kaya alam kong marami mong beses ginawa 'yan. And stop joking around, Avenight," Sage strictly said.
The naughtiness on Avenight's face vanished as soon as he heard her serious voice. Humaplos ang kamay ng lalaki sa braso niya bago siya bahagyang ngitian.
"I need to face punishments whenever I break rules, baby," he answered honestly.
"Punishment? For breaking the rules?" Umayos ng pagkakaupo si Sage. "You're the king! Why would you face punishment for breaking a rule in your own kingdom?"
"I may be the king..." The volume of his voice lessen. "But a rule is a rule. I prefer punishing myself rather than letting any people touch me. I hate having physical contact with anyone."
Sage pulled her hand from his grip that made Avenight's nose furrowed.
Sinubukang hawakan ng asawa ang kamay niya pero mabilis naman niya 'yong tinago sa likuran niya. "No!"
"Why are you letting go from my grip, wife?" Halata sa boses ng lalaki na naiinis na ito. "Give me your hand."
"You said you hate physical contact with other people," sabi ni Sage sa mababang boses.
"You're an exemption, baby."
"Huh?"
Walang kahirap-hirap na hinapit ni Avenight ang baywang niya at mahigpit siyang niyakap. "Hugging you feels heaven to me."
"Really?" Sage's eyes twinkled from so much happiness. "I can always touch you, hubby? Sabi mo 'yan, ah! Kapag hindi, pipingutin kita!"
Naningkit ang mga mata ng asawa. "Sasaktan mo ako?"
"No!" She quickly shook her head that made him smile. "I won't hurt you!"
"I know you won't." He leaned forward to kiss her cheek. "It'll be the death of me once you hurt me, Sage."
"Hindi kita sasaktan, hubby!" apila niya.
"That's good then." Humaplos ang kamay ni Avenight sa batok niya bago siya hilahin papalapit. Mas hinigpitan nito ang pagkakayakap sa kaniya.
"Hubby, please don't harm yourself again. Even if you don't feel any physical pain, I know that you're suffering inside," Sage whispered on a light tone.
She let go from the hug before caressing Avenight's handsome face.
"I love the feeling whenever I'm comfortable being happy with you. I love the way you let me enjoy things, hubby. But it will make me feel better if we're able to share each other's pain without worrying about anything," she added. Ngumiti siya nang matamis sa asawa nang mapansin ang pagiging matamlay ng mga mata nito. "I'll always listen to your problems, Avenight. I will always side with you no matter what."
"Sage," he weakly whispered beneath his breathe.
"It must have been hard for you to carry all those burden," Sage replied.
Avenight's head lowered, as if he's tying to control his emotions.
"I'm here now, hubby. I'll always understand you and I'll never leave your side." She moved a little to hug him. "You can always be vulnerable in front of me."
Few seconds passed and silence took over their whole room. Nakayakap lang siya sa asawa habang wala pa rin itong imik.
"Fuck," he cussed through his deep voice. "I can't bear this anymore."
Sage slowly let go from the hug to check Avenight when he said those words. Pero nagulat na lang siya nang biglang mag-angat ng mukha ang asawa at mabilis na hinapit ang batok niya.
Her eyes widened even more when he attacked her lips. She immediately felt his soft lips moving against hers.
Her hands have no idea where to go, so she placed them on her sides. But Avenight quickly grabbed both of her arms and encircled them around his nape.
Impit siyang napatili nang hilahin ng asawa ang baywang niya bago siya ikandong. Pagkatapos ay muli na naman nitong sinunggaban ang mga labi niyang tikom.
She moaned a little when Avenight bit her lower lip and licked it afterwards. Gigil na gigil ang bawat halik at galaw ng lalaki, bumaba na rin ang mga labi nito sa leeg niya at pinaulanan siya ng halik doon.
Sage's eyes widened even more when his big hands caressed both sides of her tiny waist. "Hubby," she uttered her endearment for him.
"Hmm?" Nag-angat saglit ng tingin ang asawa at pagkatapos ay muli na namang binalikan ang mga labi niya.
"'Yung likod mk," nag-aalala niyang sabi.
"What about them?" He seductively licked his lower lip while staring at her.
Akmang susunggaban na naman ng asawa ang labi niya nang magsalita siya.
"Gagawa na ba tayo ng baby?"
Avenight's lips remained on her cheeks. Then his one hand travelled inside the dress she's wearing, he slowly caressed her soft legs. "We should have done that on our first night, baby. I was just holding back."
"Paano ba gumawa ng baby?" she innocently asked.
Nang makasalubong niya ang mga mata ng asawa ay halos manlamig siya. The expression inside his eyes is almost burning.
"You really want to know?" he huskily asked.
Her cheeks reddened. "Yes! I want a baby! Gawa na tayo! Ano ba ingredients, hubby?"
The corner of Avenight's lips curved, as if he's laughing about what she said.
"The ingredients?" he asked again. "This is the first ingredient, my lovely wife."
"What? Kiss? Wow! I can't believe we can eat kiss!" she gasped in awe.
Impit na napatili si Sage nang mabilis siyang ihiga ng asawa sa kama at ito naman ang nasa ibabaw niya.
He leaned forward to kiss her lips again while gently caressing her neck and her cheeks. "We locked the door, right?"
"Yes!" she answered. "Kailangan ba bawal maingay kapag gagawa baby— Hmp!"
Sage shut her mouth when his lips covered the words she wanted to say. Hindi siya makasinghap nang lumipat ang kamay ng asawa sa ibabaw ng tiyan niya at malambing siyang hinaplos doon.
"Ang l-likot naman ng kamay mo, hubby, 'yung mga sugat mo," nauutal niyang sabi sa pagitan ng mga impit niyang ungol.
"What about my wounds, baby?" he asked with his deep voice.
"Magdudugo..."
"And?" Kinagat nito ang ibabang labi bago ibaba ang tingin sa katawan niya. "I can't hold my hunger anymore, Sage. Let these fucking wounds bleed."
