Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Scene pans to Marinette's mannequin, her emptied walls that was once full of photos of Adrien and her friends, and her trash bin, which is now filled with photos of Adrien. Sabine enters through her trap door.
Sabine: Marinette, you're going to be really late!
Marinette: (groans from her bed) I don't wanna go to school, Mom. I'm not feeling well.
Sabine frowns at Marinette's response and goes downstairs.
Tom: So?
Sabine: She just needs some time. Why don't you go bake her some chouquettes? I'm sure she would like that.
Back in Z+Marinette's bedroom, Marinette is still seen on her bed under her blanket.
Tikki: You can't stay in your room forever.
Marinette groans in reply.
Tikki: What will you do if an akumatized villain shows up?
Marinette: (takes off her blanket off her face annoyingly and removes her earring) Just give my Miraculous to whoever you want, Tikki! (Tikki pushes Marinette's hand with her earring back to her) They can never be as bad as I was. Nothing ever works out for me. Adrien? Never even started. Luka? Couldn't work out. Cat Noir? Didn't even get off the ground. I'm so pathetic!
Tikki: Of course not! You're an amazing Ladybug!
A montage of Ladybug fighting off akumatized villains like Sapotis, Party Crasher and Puppeteer is seen.
Marinette: But I am just a normal girl with a normal life. But there's something about me that no one knows yet. I'm pathetic! (hides under her blanket)
Tikki: You're overreacting, Marinette!
Marinette: (a tad furious) Really? Then, how come I lost the Miraculous I was entrusted with all because of love?? Love only ever causes problems. I'll never fall in love again! Love is weak! And I can't be sad about it; otherwise, I might get akumatized! (buries her head in her arms)
Alya is seen calling Marinette's phone.
Tikki: It's Alya, your best friend! She was a superhero once. She'll know how to make you feel better!
Marinette: If I talk to her, she'll catch my weakness. (hides under her blanket again)
Marinette's phone rings again, but this time, Adrien is the one calling her. Tikki cannot do anything but frown.
Zane walks over.
Zane: Alright Im Gone.
Marinette: Where are you going?!
Zane: I told you we're visiting my aunt and uncle.
Marinette: Ok have fun.
Zane, Zaria and Zeke back up a little and then hitch a ride on the Skyship.
The Skyship stops over the Tsurugi residence where kagami seems to have been waiting.
Kagami: Off World?
S. Mega Red leaps down.
S. Mega Red: Only for a few days you know the drill right.
He tosses the key and morpher to her, she catches it.
Kagami: Of course Red-San.
S. Mega Red nods and then leaves as kagami looks at her morpher and leaves.
Scene: Interior, Collège Françoise Dupont, in Ms. Bustier's classroom. Adrien is seen calling Marinette.
Marinette's voicemail: (feebly) Leave a message after the beep. Beeeeeep.
Adrien: She's not picking up.
Chloé: Hah! That reminds me of the good old times when Dupain-Cheng had to ask for my permission to show up at school! (she and Sabrina share a mocking laugh)
Ms. Bustier: Alya, would you mind taking this homework to Marinette, please?
Alya: Yes, Ms. Bustier, um- (Nino clears his throat) I... uh... can't. Uh, busy. But maybe Adrien...?
Alya and Nino grins at Adrien.
Ms. Bustier: Adrien, would you mind taking this homework to Marinette, please?
Adrien: Yes, of course. (takes the folder from Ms. Bustier)
Alya and Nino bump their fists together.
Scene: Exterior, Collège Françoise Dupont. Adrien walks to Marinette's house.
Adrien: I'm sure Cat Noir's the reason Marinette's feeling bad.
Plagg: Uhh, you do know that you're Cat Noir, right?
Adrien: I do, but Marinette doesn't. She has no idea.
Plagg: Well, that's what happens when superheroes flirt. Poor Marinette fell in love with Cat Noir and got her heart broken.
Adrien: Yeah, that was terrible of me.
Plagg: It was.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Adrien stops walking as he arrives in front of the bakery, smiling.
Adrien: I have to do everything I can to cheer her up. Hide, Plagg!
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Marinette is still seen lying on her bed.
Sabine: (off-screen) Someone here to see you, sweetheart.
Marinette: Tell Alya I'm contagious. She'll catch my weakness.
Adrien: (off-screen) I caught it a while ago, Marinette, so I'm safe.
Upon hearing Adrien's voice, Marinette immediately gets up from her bed in shock.
Marinette: Adrien?
Sabine and Adrien are seen standing by her room's trapdoor, smiling up at her.
Marinette: You should be at school.
Adrien: So should you, Marinette. Can I come in?
Marinette: Okay. (lies back on her bed)
Sabine and Adrien nod to each other, leaving Marinette in his care and heads downstairs, closing the trap door. Adrien puts down his bag and sits on Marinette's swivel chair.
Adrien: Looks like you're not doing too great. Can I help you?
Marinette: (groans) No one can help me because no one will ever truly know me.
Zane: Am I a joke to you.
YOUR IN SPACE FUCK OFF ZANE!
As Adrien and Marinette continue to converse, Tikki hollers at Plagg to fly towards her and hide behind the trash bin.
Adrien: You know, not a lot of people know who I really am either. What people know of me is just an advertising image. But you and me? We could be different. If you wanted to, we could... really get to know each other.
Plagg: (to Tikki) No, they can't really get to know each other! What's he up to?
Marinette: I can't let anyone love me... and I never will! Even if he were nice, sweet and generous, and handsome, and brave- even if he were you! (sits up on her bed and cries)
Adrien: I'm sure I can understand if you would... just explain things to me.
Plagg: (to Tikki) Oh, we have to step in!
Tikki: We can't! They can't know that they're Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Marinette: No one can understand what I'm going through!
Adrien: (stands up from the swivel chair) Marinette, you can tell me anything. Before anything else, I will always be your friend!
Marinette: And I... before anything else, (looks at one of her earrings in her hand) I'll always be...
Out of panic, Tikki and Plagg push the trash bin over and reveal all her disposed photos of Adrien in it. Upon seeing it, Adrien looks at one of the photos and puts them all back one by one back in the bin.
Marinette: I... I will... I'll always be... I'll always be a failure; (frustratingly lies back on her bed) living a life, never succeeding what I always had to do!
Adrien: (clenches his hand on the mouth of the trash bin and stands up, determined) I don't care, Marinette! I love you just the way you are!
Marinette becomes surprised at Adrien's sudden declaration, but looking at her earring, her duties as a superhero, continues to hold her back.
Marinette: I... don't... love you. I've had feelings for you Adrien, but... I don't anymore. It's better that way.
Scene: Interior, Collège Françoise Dupont, by the corridor. A worried Zoé calls Marinette.
Marinette's voicemail: (feebly) Leave a message after the beep. Beeeeep.
Zoé enters the arts room, seeing the gang having a party inside.
Zoé: Alya, did you hear Marinette's voicemail message?
Alya: Yeah, but that was before, Zoé.
Zoé: "Before"? Before what?
Alya: Before when Marinette was a complete wreck.
Nino: But Alya sends her the perfect mechanic.
Alya: Adrien!
Nino: He's fixing her up as we speak.
Rose: Wow! When they come back to school, they'll finally be an item!
Marc: A perfect plan!
Zoé: But... you guys don't actually know for sure.
Alya: Trust me. This is it this time! (Nora calls her on her Alliance ring, but declines it instead) Come on, party with us!
Zoé frowns at them, ignoring the fact that some of their friends might be feeling the other way around.
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence. Back in Z+Marinette's room, Adrien stands up from the swivel chair and prepares to leave. Plagg phases in his bag immediately right before Adrien grabs it.
Adrien: I feel like we've missed out on something, don't you?
Marinette: Maybe.
Adrien: You think we'll get another chance... one day?
Marinette: (looks at the earring in her hand again) No.
Adrien is heard opening the trap door, leaving Marinette's bedroom.
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, at the stairs heading down from their main house to the bakery. Adrien makes his way to leave the house, heartbroken.
Plagg: (from Adrien's school bag) You know, Adrien, sometimes when you want to "mature a cheese" the right way-
Adrien: (dejected) Not now, Plagg.
Adrien continues to walk to leave the house, leaving Plagg behind. Plagg flies up back into Marinette's bedroom as Tom and Sabine watches Adrien leave.
Adrien: (bitterly) I'm sorry.
As he walks down the streets, Adrien bursts into tears.
Scene: Monarch's lair. The lair window opens.
Monarch: The despair of a boy who has just discovered love, only to find he has already lost it!
A butterfly flies into his hand and is about to corrupt it, but realizes it was his son who's the victim.
Monarch: (gasps) Adrien?
Monarch releases the butterfly from his hand.
Monarch: Dark Dragon, Dormant. (de-transforms into Gabriel)
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Marinette remains to be curled up on her bed. Plagg enters the room and calls Tikki. The Kwamis flies up to the balcony.
Plagg: Sugarcube! Having to force them to choose between love and their mission is just awful! Maybe Master Fu was wrong to choose them.
Tikki: No, they're made for each other. Love is what gives them their strength.
Plagg: But the impossible part of that love is destroying them, and I know a thing or two about destruction.
Tikki: (sighs heavily) What can we do?
Plagg: We must free them of that impossible choice. We must... free them of us.
Tikki pouts sadly in reply.
Scene: Interior, Collège Françoise Dupont, in the art room. The gang continues to party.
Rose: They're finally going to live out their dreams!
Scene shows Marinette still curled up on her bed.
Nino: And now we're going to stop walking on eggshells around.
Alya: I can't believe how long it took them to tell each other how they feel.
Scene shows Adrien laying down on his bed in heartbreak.
Max: Precisely two hundred and eighty-six days since Adrien came to school. That's nine months and twelve days.
Scene shows Marinette and Adrien in their rooms, crying.
Back in the school's art room, Nora calls Alya for the second time.
Alya: Not now. (declines Nora's call)
Zoé: Has anyone actually talked to them yet?
Alya: No news...
Mylène: It's good news!
Zoé keeps a frown on her face, who couldn't seem to stay put. As Nino notices her, he gives in and starts to contact his friend.
Nino: Okay. (opens his Alliance ring) Alliance, call Adrien.
Ivan: (off-screen) You'll disturb them!
Nino: Just so Zoé can relax.
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room. Nathalie notices Nino calling Adrien's phone.
Nathalie: Aren't you taking your friend's call?
Adrien: I really don't feel like talking.
Nathalie: He'll get worried.
Adrien: Then reassure him for me, please, Nathalie?
Nathalie: (picks up the phone) Hello?
Nino: (from the school's art room) Hey- Hello... ma'am. Is Adrien okay?
Nathalie: He was just feeling a little tired so he came home. He's resting now.
Nino: (from the school's art room) Okay. Thank you, ma'am. Tell him his friends said hi. (ends the call)
Alya: I guess Marinette and boys is a truly hopeless case.
Zoé becomes much more perturbed because of the situation.
Back at the mansion, Nathalie exits Adrien's room and sees Gabriel just about to enter his son's room.
Nathalie: Your son isn't feeling well.
Gabriel: I know.
Nathalie: (blocks Gabriel from entering Adrien's room) Don't take advantage of his distress.
Gabriel: I'm not a monster. I'm just here to comfort him. I'm his father, am I not?
Nathalie glares at Gabriel for a short moment and walks away right after. Gabriel scowls back and proceeds to enter Adrien's room. Adrien gets up as soon as he sees Gabriel walking towards his bed.
Adrien: I'm sorry I'm not at school.
Gabriel: I'm not here to reprimand you, Adrien. I know what it's like to have a broken heart.
Adrien stares at the picture of him and his mother, Emilie, on his drawer.
Gabriel: Even though you're not very fond of the Alliance ring, it would really make me feel more comfortable as a father (inserts an Alliance ring on Adrien's left index finger) if you'd wear one. That way, you can reach me anytime. And unlike a phone, there's no risk of losing it. There are even applications to help soothe your pain. (opens an app on Adrien's Alliance ring)
Alliance Lila: On a scale of 1-5, how do you rate your heart ache?
Adrien: Thank you, Dad.
Gabriel nods in reply and makes his way out of his room, leaving a subtle, sinister smile.
Adrien: Alliance, please turn off the app. (removes his Alliance ring and places it beside him as he lies down again and begins to cry)
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Marinette is still seen lying on her bed. Tikki enters the room, waking up Marinette.
Tikki: (heavy-hearted) Marinette Dupain-Cheng, you have been an exemplary holder of the Miraculous of the Ladybug. You've always used the power of Creation for the greater good.
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room. Plagg flies to Adrien's bed, waking him up, and is about to do the same thing as Tikki did with Marinette.
Plagg: (heavy-hearted) Adrien Agreste, you have been an exemplary holder of the Miraculous of the Black Cat. You've always used the power of Destruction for the greater good. I wish I could say the same about me.
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Marinette's room. Tikki continues to relieve Marinette's duty as a superhero.
Tikki: The task you were performing so well has become too much of a burden, crushing you. Your mission is now over.
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room. Adrien and Plagg continue to bid each other farewell.
Adrien: But Monarch-
Plagg: Someone will succeed you. You won't have to hide anything anymore from the ones you love. You can finally be yourself.
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Marinette's room.
Marinette: You don't have to do this, Tikki!
Tikki: This means you can finally be in love with Adrien.
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room.
Plagg: This means... you can tell Marinette all your silly, sappy feelings.
Scene shows both Adrien and Marinette taking off their Miraculous and giving it back to Plagg and Tikki, respectively, finally relinquishing their roles as Ladybug and Cat Noir.
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Marinette's room.
Marinette: We'll see each other again, right, Tikki?
Tikki: (flies near her window, about to depart) I'll never forget you, Marinette. (flies away)
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room. Plagg prepares his departure as well.
Plagg: You'll never forget me, Adrien.
Plagg leaves his room, leaving Adrien crying.
Scene: Monarch's lair. The lair window opens for the second time.
Monarch: Hmm... Adrien's sadness is even greater than before. Now that he has an Alliance, he will make an even more powerful akumatized villain!
A butterfly flies into his hand and corrupts it, turning it into a megakuma.
Monarch: Kaalki, (Kaalki's pod flies toward one of Monarch's Alliance rings) your power is mine! (gains the power of Teleportation) Voyage, my megakuma! (creates a portal for his megakuma, transporting it to Adrien's room)
Scene: Interior, the Agreste mansion, in Adrien's room. The megakuma enters his room and is about to akumatize Adrien, just as he suddenly glues his eyes to his bag, containing the homework he was supposed to give to Marinette, which brightens up his mood.
Seeing that he no longer is the holder of the Miraculous of the Black Cat, he realizes he is much freer than ever and can do whatever he wants to do. For instance, go back to Marinette's place. He quickly grabs his bag and leaves the room.
Monarch: (from his lair) What's happening? I can no longer feel his negative emotions! (transports his megakuma back to his lair)
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Marinette looks at her trash bin full of photos of Adrien and walks towards it.
She smiles widely at the thought of her freedom from her superhero duties and that she's now free to go back to pursuing her long-time school crush once again.
With that, she recovers all her photos of Adrien from the trash bin and even hugs one of them.
Scene: Monarch's lair. The megakuma appears from the portal Monarch begins his search for another victim.
Parisian 1: (voice only) He didn't accept my application!
Kouki: (voice only) Nora! You shouldn't done this!
Monarch: What a powerful negative emotion!
Let's take a closer look! (opens up a portal to see who seems to be a boxing colleague of Nora, yelling in anger) So much anger in one single person! With five Alliances to boot? (the megakuma flies to Kouki's location) Rejoice, dear Kwamis! Five Alliances enables as many Miraculous powers to transfer at the same time! This villain promises to be exceptional! (laughs sinisterly)
Scene: Outside Place des Vosges. Adrien is seen to be in a rush, running excitedly towards Marinette's place.
Meanwhile in her room, as Marinette sticks her photos of Adrien back on her walls, Adrien enters her trapdoor, which causes her to fumble over.
Adrien: I... uh... forgot to give you your homework. (proceeds to enter her room)
Marinette: (while trying hard to cover all her photos of Adrien on her wall) Uh... you know, earlier, I... I didn't mean what I said. I was feeling down. I told you horrible things because I just wanted to be alone.
Adrien: So, when you said that you used to love me, that wasn't true?
Marinette: No, no, of course I lo- I love... I love... (aggressively) I love... I- GAH!
Adrien: Are you okay?
Marinette: No, no, wait, wait! I can do this. I... (shivers) I lo... I... GAH! I can't do this! What is wrong with me??
Adrien: You don't have to tell me anything if you can't. Hold on, I have an idea. (brings down his bag) I'm gonna ask you some questions. Raise your right hand for "yes", (raises his right hand) and your left hand for "no". (raises his left hand)
Tom and Sabine peek from the trapdoor.
Tom: Marinette!
Adrien: Did you ever love me?
Tom and Sabine halt as they notice that Adrien and Marinette are in the middle of their conversation, and so they leave the room quietly.
Back to the two, upon hearing Adrien's question, Marinette raises her right hand bashfully. Adrien smiles back at her.
Adrien: You also said that you no longer love me. If that wasn't true, does that mean that... you still love me?
Marinette raises her left hand, to Adrien's shock. Marinette peeks and realizes that she raised the wrong hand.
Marinette: No, wait! (puts down her left hand and titters nervously) I always confuse my left and right. (chuckles)
Adrien: If you need more time... (Marinette raises her right hand abruptly) more time... with me?
Marinette raises her right hand once again and puts it down.
Marinette: Thanks for bringing my homework. (walks closer towards Adrien)
Adrien: I'm really glad that I did.

Scene: Interior, Collège Françoise Dupont, in the art room. The gang formulates a plan to reconcile Adrien and Marinette, to which they, unbeknownst to them, already have.
Alya: (slams the table) Right! Marinette and Adrien are bummed out.
Nino: And at home.
Rose cries onto Juleka.
Marc: We need to put our brains together and come up with a plan to save their love! Any ideas? (The rest of the gang stares blankly at him.)) Okay, let's go over the basics again. Easy: Marinette is in love with Adrien...
Nathaniel: ...and Adrien is in love with
Marinette.
Mylène: So, then what's the problem? I mean, it doesn't get any simpler than that.
Nora calls Alya on her Alliance ring again and finally answers it.
Nora: (on the call) Geez, sis! You never pick up the phone when I, like, actually need your advice!
Alya: I couldn't pick up. I'm at school!
Nora: (on the call) Yeah, right. So, you see, I had no choice but to deal with it myself.
Alya: Oh, no, Nora. I told you before; you gotta talk before you act!
Nora: (on the call) Yeah, but I did talk, like, I said stuff in front of Kouki's bros.
Alya: Nora! (facepalms) Not "talk" like that!
Nora: (on the call) Aaaand, I think I might've put him on the spot on social media, like, the thing is, I think I've upset Kouki.
In Alya's Alliance ring, Nora shows her an edited picture of Kouki with a blonde braided wig, a pacifier and a ducky floater.
Alya: Oh, no, Nora... you can't do stuff like that!
Tikki and Plagg peek from the ceiling.
Tikki: I've found my holder, Plagg!
Scene shows Nino comforting Alya after her call with Nora.
Plagg: (about Nino) So have I!
The Kwamis see Alya and Nino kiss.
Plagg: (groans) No, he and Alya are in love! We've run into the same problems.
Zoé: Why don't we start by asking their opinions before we make any plans? (walks out the room)
Plagg: (smiles) I've found my holder!
Scene: Exterior, Collège Françoise Dupont. Zoé activates her Alliance ring.
Zoé: (perturbed) Alliance, please call Marinette.
Marinette's voicemail: (feebly) Leave a message after the beep. Beeeeep.
Zoé: (upon stopping in front of Marinette's house) Marinette, it's Zoé. I know how complicated love can be. I'll be outside your building if you want to talk. (turns off her Alliance ring)
Right after finishing recording her voicemail for Marinette, Zoé felt something that was thrown from behind her. She picks it up and examines it. Plagg then calls Zoé from the subway stairs.
Scene: Interior, Collège Françoise Dupont, in the comfort room. Alya is seen washing her hands. Tikki appears from behind her.
Tikki: Alya, I need you!
Alya: Tikki? Did something happen to Marinette?
Tikki: No, she's fine! I reclaimed the Miraculous from her so she can live her love story with Adrien!
Alya: Oh, Tikki... (pats Tikki's head) And... what are you gonna do now?
Tikki: I have to choose a new holder!
Alya: Oh...
Tikki: And you once were a successful holder. I feel safe with you. I know you'll find the strength to shoulder such responsibility.
Alya: But what am I going to do about Nino?
Tikki: It would be best if you didn't tell him.
Alya: I... I don't know if I can, Tikki. I don't like hiding things from my boyfriend.

Tikki: I understand. (sadly lowers her head)

Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, in Z+Marinette's room. Adrien and Marinette stare at one another, lovesick. The two avert their eyes on each other shyly shortly after.
Adrien: (while rubbing the back of his neck) Right, so... I guess I'll go?
Marinette: Oh! Sure- AH!
Marinette's homework fell on the floor as she lost hold of it. The two bump their heads as both of them attempt to grab it at the same time.
Adrien and Marinette: Oh, I'm sorry- (both gasp)
A loud rumble is heard from outside - from an akumatized victim. The villain roars as he lands on the ground and starts causing havoc in the city.
Kikou: Clout!!
He fires a beam at a nearby building and hops away. Adrien and Marinette are now at the balcony.
Marinette: I think you're gonna have to wait a little while before you head back home.
Adrien: Yeah, let's wait until Ladybug's taken care of this villain.
Marinette: (holds her ear, realizing she doesn't wear her Miraculous anymore) Ladybug... and Cat Noir!
Adrien looks at his right hand, also realizing that he doesn't wear his ring anymore.
Scene: Les Olympiades. Kikou continues to wreak havoc all over the place as people scream and run away in panic. A cameraman starts to broadcast the villain as he wrecks another nearby building. Scarabella and Crimson Pirate arrive on the scene.
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, on Marinette's balcony. Adrien and Marinette watch the live footage together.
Adrien: Crimson Pirate and Scarabella's back!
Marinette: But Cat Noir isn't there.
Adrien: I'm sure everything's gonna be okay.
Scene: Les Olympiades. The new Black Cat holder, Kitty Noire arrives on the scene as well.
Scarabella: Who are you?
Kitty Noire: Who are you?
Kikou: I am Kikou!!
Scene: Interior, the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, on Marinette's balcony. Upon seeing Kikou firing at the two new heroes, Marinette holds onto Adrien's arms, much to his surprise.
Scene: Les Olympiades. The battle ensues between Scarabella, Crimson Pirate, Kitty Noire and Kikou. Scarabella, Crimson Pirate, and Kitty Noire hide to a safe place as Kikou smashes another building.
Scarabella: Maybe skip the introductions for now?
Crimson Pirate: Approved! Why don't we start by calming down... Kikou?
Scarabella nods in agreement and runs towards Kikou as she hurls her yo-yo at him, only to be thrown by Kikou off a building. Kitty Noire then ambushes Kikou from behind.
Kikou: Voyage!
He creates a portal below him, having Kitty Noire fail her ambush. Teleporting at a distance, Kikou fires a ball of energy at Kitty Noire, only for Scarabella to save her at a nick of time.
Kitty Noire: Sorry!
Scarabella: No problem. That's why there's three of us so we can help each other.
Kitty Noire: Thanks!
Kikou creates a portal beneath the three heroes, causing them to fall down and teleporting in front of Kikou, to which the villain takes advantage of and bats them to the ground.
Scarabella: That's impossible! He's got multiple Miraculous powers working at the same time!
Kitty Noire: Teleportation, super punch...
Kikou: Don't make Kikou angry!!
Scarabella, Crimson Pirate, and Kitty Noire: And the Protection shield!
Kitty Noire: He has to protect his headgear because that's where the akuma is!
Scarabella: Approved!
Kikou roars and he summons three powerful beams targeted at the three heroes as Scarabella and Kitty Noire flee the target area right before its impact. Kitty Noire vaults towards Kikou.
Kitty Noire: Cataclysm!! (touches the shield and fails to break it, only to be headbutted by Kikou, sending her flying but lands on the ground safely) It's like he's invulnerable!
Scarabella: (lands beside Kitty Noire and spins her yo-yo for protection) I guess he is!
Monarch: (from his lair) Mullo, your power is now mine! (Mullo's pod hovers toward Monarch and claims her power.) Transfer! (taps his ring and transmits the power of Multiplication to Kikou) Dear Kikou, I'm offering you the power of Multiplication as a bonus! But in return, you must bring me your opponents' Miraculous!
Kikou: Kikou is the strongest! Multitude!! (creates two clones of himself)
Scarabella: To destroy his headgear, we have to destroy the shield.
Crimson Pirate: But since he's invulnerable...
Scarabella: We can't destroy the shield!
Kitty Noire: There's only one solution: we get him to drop it himself!
Scarabella: Lucky Charm!
She activates her superpower and receives parachute.
Kitty Noire: Looks like we're gonna land on our feet after all!
Crimson Pirate: As my male predecessor would say your not funny.
Scarabella: That's right! Here's the plan...
Kikou's two other clones stomp their way toward Scarabella, Crimson Pirate and Kitty Noire.
Kitty Noire: (sarcastically) Oh, no! You're soooo scary, Kikou! (vaults away)
Kikou Clone 2: A-ha! She's afraid of Kikou!
Kikou Clone 1: Chicken!
Scarabella: Can you believe her?
Crimson Pirate: Just let her go. She's no match for you, Kouki!
Kikou Clone 1: Not Kouki!
Kikou Clone 2: Me Kikou!!
Scarabella: Yeah, right. It's you, crimson, and me now! I-I mean, us and the three of you!
Kikou and his clones: Kikou wanna hit the bug!! (create fists of power and aims it at Crimson Pirate and Scarabella)
Scene: On the streets of Paris. A fire truck stops in the middle of the road upon seeing the presence of Kitty Noire. Kitty Noire grabs the hose to use it for their plan.
Scene: Les Olympiades. Scarabella and Crimson Pirate continue to divert Kikou's attention. Kitty Noire goes to Socqueline's art store to grab some paint, a part of her and Scarabella's plan on defeating Kikou.
Scene: On the streets of Paris. The firemen help the superheroes by passing on buckets of paint and pouring them into the fire truck's water reservoir.
As Scarabella and Crimson Pirate continue to distract Kikou back at Les Olympiades, the firemen prepare the hose for the plan.
Kitty Noire slides the sewer lid open to get better access on catching Kikou off-guard. She extends her baton up in the air with the fabric containing the paint she and the firemen gathered.
Scene: Les Olympiades. Kikou and his clones surround and outnumber little Scarabella and Crimson Pirate.
Kikou: Give me your Miraculous, Ladybug!!
Upon seeing Kitty Noire ready in the air, Scarabella nods to her as a signal to execute their plan.
One of the firemen turns on the hose, letting the paint flow through it, filling the fabric with paint more.
Kitty Noire brings out her claws and cuts the fabric, spilling the paint over Kikou's head.
Kikou: AH! Un-shield! (deactivates Shell-ter protecting his headgear)
Crimson Pirate blasts at Kikou, breaking his headgear and releasing the megakuma.
Scarabella: No more evil doing for you, megakuma! (swipes open her yo-yo) Time to de-evilize! (catches the megakuma) Gotcha! (releases the purified butterfly) Bye-bye, butterfly!
Kikou reverts to his normal self, Kouki. Nora enters the scene.
Nora: Geez, Kouki! You went bananas again!
Kouki: Huh? Hey, come on! I didn't do anything!
Nora: Uh-huh...?
Kouki: (to Scarabella and Kitty Noire) Did I...?
Kitty Noire: You were akumatized.
Scarabella: And pretty angry, too.
Kouki: That was her fault! (points at Nora) She made a fool out of me!
Nora: Oh, yeah?? Well, better be respectful when you talk to me, then!
Nora and Kouki scoff at one another.
Scarabella: Maybe you two should try to keep your emotions in check when you're communicating?
Nora and Kouki glare at each other for a brief moment.
Scarabella: Miraculous Scarabella!
She throws the parachute in the air and reverting all the damages caused by the villain back to normal.
Scene: At the Dupain-Cheng's Residence, on Z+Marinette's balcony. As the Miraculous Ladybugs continue to put the city back in place, Marinette is still seen holding onto Adrien's arm. Upon realizing it, she lets go of his arm immediately.
Marinette: Oh! (titters nervously) Sorry.
Adrien: (rubs the back of his neck) That's okay. (leans on the rail) I don't know what happened to the other Ladybug and Cat Noir, but these two heroes seem to be amazing, don't you think?
Marinette: So, it's safe now?
Adrien: Yeah. The coast is clear.
Marinette: (bitterly) Oh. That means... you can head home.
Adrien: Yeah. But I'll see you tomorrow at school?
Marinette gasps at his remark and turns her head to look at Adrien, both of them sharing smiles.
Marinette: Yes.
Epilogue Scene: Monarch's lair. Monarch de-transforms into Gabriel. Gabriel opens his Alliance ring.
Alliance Emilie: Warning threshold exceeded. Data beyond normal human capabilities have been recorded on three Alliances.
Gabriel: (smirks) Sometimes, change is good.
He laughs sinisterly as the lair window closes.
