Strangely, I confided everything to Shidou. I was tired of keeping it to myself.
"Dang, that's tough." He sighs.
"Yeah." I mumble, drifting off to sleep.
The room is now enveloped in soothing silence. I consider spending the night here, the atmosphere is comforting.
"You know, the more I look at you, the more you resemble someone I know." Shidou breaks the silence.
"Really, who?" I ask him, my eyes still closed.
"My girlfriend."
I chuckle before sitting cross-legged. "You have a girlfriend?"
"Yeah, sort of. But you two really look alike. Same smile, same eyes, same lips, same butt-"
"Wait are you talking about me?" I raise an eyebrow, laughing.
"Yeah, will you be my girlfriend?" He asks me, smirking.
His request sends me into fits of laughter. "Lol. No."
"Even after seeing this?" He teases, showing me his abs.
"Even after that." I roll my eyes then stand up.
"Wait, where you going?" He stands up too.
"To sleep. Good night, Shidou." I wave goodbye and head to my room.

It's with a knot in my stomach that I approach Noa's office. I've been training with the other players when Ness informs me that Noa wants to see me.
"Hey genius!"
I turn around, thinking it's Raichi calling me, but it's Kaiser.
I roll my eyes. "Don't call me that." I say as I continue on my way.
"Where you going?" He asks.
"None of your business."
His steps draw closer, and he blocks my path. "Where are you in such a hurry to go, princess?" He smirks.
"Don't you have anything better to do than annoy me?" I sigh.
He chuckles. "No, it's too much fun to piss you off."
I ignore him and continue toward Noa's office.
"Oh, by the way, I know your little secret, princess."
"I swear I hate that guy." I mutter as he walk away.
I brush my unruly hair behind my ear and knock on the door.
As I hear him give permission to enter, I open the door to find him seated behind his desk.
"Take a seat." He offers me.
"Um, hello." I awkwardly greet him.
"I won't beat around the bush. I've heard things, and I'd like you to confirm them."
This sentence begins to stress me out. "What... kind of things?"
I hope Raichi hasn't spilled the beans.
"I heard from—" He is interrupted by someone violently opening the door.
"Wait!" Prince bursts in.
"What'a wrong with you?" Noa asks, unfazed.
"Did you ask her yet?" He closes the door behind him and stands beside Noa.
"No."
"Nice."
I sigh, already guessing what they're going to ask. "Yes, I'm a girl if that's what you want to know."
Prince gasps, covering his mouth, while Noa remains unfazed.
An awkward silence hangs in the room as they stare at me.
"Um, I don't want to be disrespectful or anything, but this situation is really awkward. Can I leave?" I ask, feeling a second hand embarrassent.
"Wow, that's crazy! Like all this time there was a girl among us." Prince exclaims.
The doors swing open once again. "A what? Where?"
I lower my head. I really hate being the center of attention. "Right here." The Manshine City player points at me.
"No way!" Lavinho shouts.

After I told them everything, from being Ego's niece to how I ended up here. I tried to ask Noa to let me change team but he said that it was too late and that he couldn't do anything about it.
At least Prince and Lavinho offered to let me practice with them whenever I want, which I accepted after Noa's approval.
Right now, I'm on the pitch with Raichi, and I end up telling him the truth too.
"You know, even if you hadn't confirmed it, I still wouldn't have believed you." He says as he passes me the ball.
I shoot the ball back to him. "Why?"
"I saw your, well, you know." He grins.
"Yeah, right. That's kinda embarrassing, just forget about it."
"That's kinda unforgettable." He mumbles.
I shoot harder, and the ball lands on his stomach. "Shut up, you rascal."
He runs up to me and uses his leg to trip me, causing me to fall to the floor. But as I lay there, I trip him too, and he falls next to me.
"Did you always want to be a soccer player?" He asks me out of the blue.
"Huh?"
"Did you-"
"I heard you." I cut him off.
"Then why are you saying 'huh'?" He growls.
"I don't know." I mumble.
"So?"
"No, I always wanted to be a psychologist, but I also wanted to be a designer and model as well." I start blabbering.
He leans on his elbow and looks at me. "A model?" He raises an eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yeah. Is it weird?" I ask him.
He shook his head. "Not at all. You're pretty enough to be one." He admits.
Thankfully, I'm black because I can feel my cheeks heating up. "Oh, you think I'm pretty?" I ask with a slight smile.
"No." My smile vanishes, and he bursts into laughter.
"Fuck you." I exclaim before getting up, but he grabs my arm and makes me land on top of him.
As my hands rest on his muscular torso, I see his eyes locked on mine, but I can't sustain eyes contact and look away.
Neither of us dares to move. I slowly shift my gaze back to him, and now he's staring at my lips.
Oh my fucking days, what should I do?
