Narrator:Last time on Pokémon: Adventures in Kanto, Ash and Green both captured a Caterpie and a female Pikachu in Viridian Forest. The two friends also captured a Beedrill and a Pidgeotto. They then tag teamed against Team Rocket and manage to send them packing. Even more surprises came when Ash's Caterpie evolved into Metapod.
[In Viridian Forest, The two boys, Charmander, and Bulbasaur were looking at nice scenery of the forest as they kept walking they eventually see a new Pokémon]
Green:Hey, that's a Weedle.
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur. [said Bulbasaur]
[Ash took out his Pokédex]
Ash's Pokédex: Weedle. The stinger on this Pokémon's head guarantees that any attacker will get the point right where it hurts.
Ash:A stinger, huh? Now there's a challenge.
Green:Yeah go ahead try to catch it ash I think this is pre-evolution form of my Beedrill we can be like her brothers.
Ash:yeah your right I'm gonna catch it!
Green:Go for it, Ash.
[Ash was about to get a Poké Ball, but then he stops as he remembered something]
Ash:Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You need to weaken a Pokémon before you can capture it. Let's go, Charmander. [Unfortunately, Charmander has fallen asleep. The trainers and Bulbasaur fall over as they saw this]
Ash:Taking a nap, huh? Okay, snooze, you lose. There's still Pidgeotto and Metapod to do the job and they give me the respect I deserve.
Green:I'm gonna go ahead and look for another Pokémon, Ash. Come on Bulbasaur. [Green said as he and Bulbasaur went into another part of the forest.]
Ash:Okay. Good luck, Green!" [called Ash as he was preparing to capture Weedle]
[Green and Bulbasaur were walking through a part of the forest. They are looking for a Pokémon to capture.]
Green:Keep your eyes peeled, Bulbasaur. I just know there's some Pokémon nearby." said Jake as he looks around
Bulbasur:Saur [said Bulbasur]
[As they were walking, they see something rustling in a nearby bush.]
Green:I think there's a Pokémon in there [Green whispered to Bulbasaur]. [Bulbasaur nods it's head. Jake takes out a Poké Ball from his bag and throws it at the bush. It then hit something inside.]
????:Ow! [cried a female voice]
Green:Wait. Ow?" [said green in confusion].
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur? [Bulbasaur puzzled]
[Just then, a girl came out from the bush rubbing her head. She has brown messy hair and brown eyes]
????:Hey, what's the big idea!?" [the girl demanded]
Green:Say. You're not a Pokémon. You're a girl [said Green. The girl then got out of the bush. She is revealed to be wearing a sleeveless white shirt with a bit of cyan and a pair of cyan shorts that stops at her thighs. The girl was also wearing orange shoes with cyan soles, orange wristbands, and has a yellow purse]
????:And what gave that away? [the girl asked sarcastically]
Green:What were you doing in that bush?
????:Same as you. I was looking for a Pokémon to befriend until a certain someone threw a Poké Ball at my head![said the girl with a glare]
Green:Look, I'm sorry. It was accident. I didn't mean to hit you.
[The girl then softens her gaze]
???:That's okay. You just didn't know [said the girl with a smile. She then notices Green's Bulbasaur next to him.]
???:Hey, is that your Bulbasaur?
Green:Yep.
???:Oh, it's so cute! [squealed the girl as she knelt down and begins rubbing her hand on Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur flinches a bit, but then starts to relax from the girl's gentle touch.]
Lexus?:I should introduce myself. My name is Lexus Barmen What's yours?
Green:My name is Greenight. Most call me green It's nice to meet you [Green said as the girl now known as Lexus shook his hand].
Lexus:Well it was nice meeting you, but I think I need to get back to my friend [said Lexus as she was about to leave. But Green grabs her hood to stop them.]
Green:Hold it [said Green with a smirk.]You didn't think I was gonna let you off that easy, did ya?
Lexus:What are you saying?
Green:What I am saying is that I challenge you to a battle.
[Green looks at his Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur nods it's head at the battle.]
Lexus:I guess I still have time. Okay, Green. I accept your challenge.
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur.
Green:Great, let's go! [said Green as she runs a little farther and faced him.]
Lexus:So, how do you want to do this?
Green:How about two on two?"
Lexus:Sure thing, Green.
Lexus:Well then. Let's go! Striker, I choose you! [said Lexus as she threw Poké Ball and out comes a brown quadruped Pokémon looks like a bull.]
Green:So that's a tauros [muttered Green as he takes out his Pokédex to scan]
Green's Pokédex:Tauros the bull Pokémon,When it targets an enemy, it charges furiously while whipping its body with its long tails. Green:Well then. Pikachu, I choose you![said Jake as he threw his Poké Ball and his Pikachu comes out.]
Pikachu:Pikachu! [she said]
Lexus:Oh my gosh! You're Pikachu is so adorable![squealed Lexus as she has sparkles in her eyes]
Green:Thanks. I guess. Now let's get this battle started"
Lexus:Right! Striker,use Quick Attack!
Green:Use your Quick Attack, Pikachu!
[Both Pikachu and Striker charges at each other with Quick Attack which knocks them both back.]
Lexus:Try a Tackle attack!"
[Tauros jumps at Pikachu]
Green:Pikachu, dodge and use Slam!
[Pikachu jumps to the right to avoid Striker attack. She then hits Eevee with Slam which makes Eevee skids back]
Lexus:How about this? Striker, use Sand Attack!
[Striker recovers from the attack and begins to kick sand at Pikachu which gets into her eyes]
Green:Oh no, Pikachu!
Pikachu:Pika! [cried Pikachu as she couldn't see]
Lexus:We got you now, Green." [She said with a smirk ]Now Striker, use your Tackle.
[Tauros charges in and tackles Pikachu which sends her skidding on the ground].
Green:Pikachu!
Lexus:Now another Quick Attack!
[Eevee charges in with Quick Attack and hits Pikachu causing her damage.]
Pikachu:Pika pi [she said in pain]
Green:Pikachu, listen. You may be blinded, but don't worry. I'll be your eyes. Do you trust me?
Pikachu:Pikachu pika. [Green's Pikachu said as she nods her head].
Lexus:Striker, use your Tackle again!
[Striker charges at Pikachu].
Green:Pikachu, dodge to the left and then Slam to the right!
[Pikachu did what her trainer said. As Striker got close, Pikachu dodges to the left, and then turns to the right and slams Striker much to Lexus's surprise.]
Green:Whoa!" [gasped Green]
Green:Good job! Now turn forward and use your Thundershock!
[Pikachu turned forward where Striker is and then unleashes Thundershock which zaps Striker leaving him paralyzed and charred].
Green:Now Pikachu, charge forward and use Quick Attack!
[Pikachu charges forward with Quick Attack and knocks Striker away. Striker falls to the ground with swirls in it's eyes.]
Lexus:Striker! [yelled Lexus as she ran over and kneels down.]
Green:Alright! We won the first match! Good work, Pikachu!
Pikachu:Pi Pikachu [said Pikachu although she was still blinded]
[Bulbasaur happily cheered his teamate very proud ].
[Lexus checks up on her Pokemon striker].
Lexus:Striker, are you alright?
Striker:Ros [Striker said weakly. Lexus smiled].
Lexus:It's okay, Striker. You tried your best. Take a rest. [she said as she recalls Striker back into his ball and stood up].
Lexus:I gotta say, Green. It was impressive how you guided your Pikachu like that after we blinded her. Green:Why thank you, Lexus. You weren't too bad yourself with your Tauros [complimented Green as Lexus giggles at this].
Lexus:Thank you. Time for my second Pokémon. [Lexus said as she drew her next Poké Ball ]Time my main star Tauros, I choose you!
[She throws the Poké Ball and another Tauros comes out this one looking more fiercer ready for a fight ].
[It crashed down as it nostrils let out steam and battle cry].
Green:Hold on what kinda Pokémon is that thing? Green's Pokédex:Tauros the wild bull Pokémon paldean form This Pokémon has a muscular body and excels at close-quarters combat. It uses its short horns to strike the opponent's weak spots.
Lexus:This is Tauros it became my partner when I first started out as a trainer my grandpa hatched him from an egg from a region called paldea.
Green:I see. Pikachu, return for now [said Green as he returns Pikachu to her Poké Ball. He then turns to Bulbasaur]
Green:Get in there, buddy.
Bulbasaur:Saur [Bulbasaur said as it rushed into battle for it to face paldean tauros it smiled ready for a fight ].
Lexus:Looks like we're both sending out our starters. ,use Take-down!
Green:Bulbasaur dodge it now! [Tauros charged straight at bulbasaur as it dodged causing it hit a tree as it fell hard shocking green and bulbasaur how powerful Tauros was ].
Green:wow that was impressive ok Bulbasaur, Don't underestimate Tauros strike back with Tackle.
[Bulbasaur charges at Tauros and tackles it. Tauros didn't even move as it barely took any damage at all].
Lexus:gonna need more than that to hurt Tauros, go for a Reversal attack!
[Tauros charged at Bulbasaur slamming into him as he skids back a bit ].
Green:Bulbasaur, jump over Tauros and shoot Leech Seed!
[Bulbasaur leaps over the Tauros much to Lexus and Tauros shock. Bulbasaur shoots a seed from it's bulb which lands on the ground. It then shoots out vines and wraps around Tauros.]
Tauros:Oh no, Tauros!"
[The Leech Seed begins to drain Tauros energy and giving it to Bulbasaur].
Green:Now that it's immobilized. Bulbasaur, another Tackle!
[Bulbasaur charges at Tauros and tackles it].
Lexus:Stay strong, Squirtle! Just hang in there use scary face.
[Tauros nods doing scary face as it scares Bulbasaur lowering his speed as the Leech Seed drains it's energy again]
Green:Tackle once more, Bulbasaur.
[Bulbasaur then tackles Tauros hitting it hard on head landing a critical hit as it skids back a bit ].
Lexus:Tauros! Are you okay? Can you get up?"
[Tauros tries to get up. But it had it's energy drained, again as it went back down with swirls in it's eyes. Green smiles]
Lexus:You did an excellent job, Tauros Return [she said as she returns Tauros to it's Poké Ball.]
Green:Looks like I win [said Green. He turns to Bulbasaur ]Good job, partner.
Bulbasaur:Bulbasaur. [said Bulbasaur]
LexusYeah, that was a good battle. You sure showed your skills, Green. [said Lexus as she walks up to them].
Green:Thanks,dudette.
[Lexus then holds up a Poké Ball in front of Greenight].
Lexus:Can I catch you? You can be one of my Pokémon.
Green:What?!
Bulbasaur:Saur?!
[Lexus then begins laughing].
Lexus:Just kidding
Green:Did you just say that to get back at me for hitting you with that Poké Ball earlier?
Lexus:Maybe. [replied Green with a wink]
[Green laughs nervously feeling slightly uncomfortable].
Green:Well, I should get back to my friend.
Lexus:Hey. Can I come with you? I would like to meet your friend.
[Green looks at Bulbasaur. Bulbasaur nods it's head with approval].
Green:Sure Lexus. We don't mind the company. Let's go.
[And so, Green and Bulbasaur accompanied by Lexus walks through the forest to get back to Ash. As they were walking, Lexus couldn't help but blush at Green as he didn't even notice].
[Meanwhile in another part of the Viridian Forest, a boy dressed in a samurai costume was walking to search for a trainer from Pallet Town.] To be continued...
((And that's the first part of my version of Challenge of the Samurai. I bet you never saw that coming when I introduced Lexus and her starter. I wanted to spice things up a bit so expect more regional variant forms! And she will be a new traveling companion to Ash and Jake's group in the next chapter. Lexus is voiced by Ashleigh ball I mainly added her to replace misty I hope you enjoy the series later.
