felix's pov;
halloween night, if the events from last week didn't happen me and minho would be on a date tonight. right now im getting ready in my silly halloween costume for me and jisung's movie night, we used to do these every halloween before me and jeongin started getting serious. thinking about that i see why he thought he was being replaced.
jisung said he'll be a little late as he's on a date with his boyfriend, i don't mind it just means more time to clean up alittle. in the meantime i have old reruns of halloween specials playing, the sound distracting me of my paranoid thought's of minho.
tonight me and jisung planned for matching costumes, another thing we used to do together. this year we decided to be a little less spooky and choosing the duo of a cheerleader and sports guy. i say sports guy because he still hasn't told me what he's showing up in.
i hear families trick or treating around my neighbourhood, due to the pretty woman stalking me i decided against opening the door for them. to make sure no kids i put a take one bowl outside.
i get up and go back to my room, he hasn't call yet so ive been waiting while constantly changing bits of my outfit. this time getting to my room i put glitter on my eyelids.
i look at my outfit. matching black long sleeved crop top, mini skirt and long socks. as for hair pigtails and for make up simple winged eyeliner. my phone rings takes me back into the moment, i look to it and its an unknown number. i decide to ignore it.
i go back downstairs and fall back onto the couch, the many pillows and blankets soften my fall. i stare at the snack filled table and television playing. i check my phone and notice an ominous text, all it says is 'i can see you'
almost instantly i sit up, suddenly aware of my surroundings. i know its minho on the other side of the phone which means i know she isn't lying. i check the time and notice its ten past nine. jisung said his date with be over at eight fourty five, maybe i can call.
the phone rings for a few moments, he picks up the phone and seems like he just rushed to the phone. "hey lix, what do you need ?" i sit facing away from any window or door.
"how long do you think you'll be ?" i ask my best friend, he seems to be quiet for a moment. i glance at the window, the curtains covered the outside world.
"probably like thirty to fourty five minutes" i turn the tv volume down slightly. before i have a chance to reply i hear a loud thud against the window making me scream a little. "you okay lix ?"
"i think those annoying kids from down the street are trying to scare me" i lay down on the couch to try and hide away from any intruders. i also choose to lie to my best friend, i dont want to scare him. "just hurry up, these trick or treaters are getting annoying" there's yet another thud on the window.
"make sure you're ok felix, wouldn't want you too scared before the movie's" he jokes as i hear the sound of a door close on his end. "i just need to change and do some hair stuff then i'll drive over, see you in thirty"
"...bye" i wait for him to hang up. i take a deep breath and put my phone down, noticing another message. 'let me in love' i shakily reach for my drink, the monster reminds me of the stalker but its all i have to drink without moving.
the number calls again, i choose to answer this time. "..." i remain silent as the other line realises i answered. i hear her breathing before speaking on the other end.
"felix, you answered" she sounds a little suprised but satisfied. "i came for our movie night, but you locked me out. that's not very nice, especially to your girlfriend love"
"we're not dating, im not your girlfriend" i say into the mic, i hear another bang against the window of the front door. i let out another small scream. "please leave me alone minho, please" i beg for her to leave.
that doesn't work, i hear laughing over the phone and outside. "you really want me gone, i guess we could come to a compromise." i stay silent. "hide and seek, if you can stay hidden for five minutes i'll leave and never bother you again but if i find you.. i'll wait until that happens for you to know"
"fine. but you can never speak to me or come close to me again" she agrees. "you also have to give back anything of mine you have"
"no fun, fine" i hear a thud against the door. "unlock the door and i'll give you a minute to hide." i slowly stand up and move to the door, looking through the small eye hole. she's dressed as a hot vampire, she really does know me.
"how do i know you won't cheat?" i speak into the door, knowing she can hear me. "you could easily just open the door when i unlock it"
"if i did that it wouldn't be fun" i hum and hang up, unlocking the front door and starting my minute to hide. i keep my footsteps quiet, before walking upstairs i throw an unopened snacks down the hall and into the kitchen.
the loud sound echoing through the quiet downstairs area, letting me sneak upstairs and into my bedroom. i panic and decide to get myself under my bed. i hear her announce she's inside. i luckily kept my phone on me.
i could easily call the police but with the amount of drugs and equitment for them out in the open it would cause more issues, i use my phone keep an eye on the time. i hear her heavy footsteps walking up the stairs with only a minute and a half left.
the door of my room slowly opens, making a loud sound. i keep my back pressed against the dusty floor, my eyes stuck staring at my bed frame. i glance down to my phone, twenty seconds. i remind myself on how once this is over me and jisung can watch movies.
how i can go back to my awful job, going to classes, working on myself to move on from the last few months. my mental listing is interrupted by a cold hand holding onto my ankle. i let out a scream as im pulled out of my hiding space, five seconds remain.
i look up at my stalker. she looks down at me with a smile. "found you" i silently pray that jisung will turn up and save me from the insane woman pinning me onto my bedroom door. "that hiding place sucked"
she jokes, the creepy smile not leaving her face. her hand away from my ankle and holding my wrists down, her body wait on my legs to keep me from kicking and her free hand against my face. "took you nearly the whole time to find me"
"i wanted to scare you" her smile becomes less creepy and almost sweet. "you're so pretty lix" she removes her hand from my face and gets something from her pocket. she distracts me with a soft kiss.
her grip tightens on my pinned down wrists as she furthers our kiss. as she pushes away there's a new pressure on my lower face, something suffocating me. im not sure what's happening, all i can focus on is the smile on minhos face.

"for the first time in weeks there's been a jump up for missing people cases" i sit with a joint in hand, my tear stained face glued to the tv. "halloween night gave us four new victims, three taken from the street and twenty year old lee felix taken from inside her own home, clear signs of struggle. if anyone has any information about the disappearances please ca-"
i switch the tv off and sink into my bed. i should've been there on time, if i were there me and felix would've been waking up from a horror movie binge. i flick some of the ash into the pot by my bong.
i glance at my phone and notice a few messages from hyunjin, a good morning text from about a hour ago and just now a few asking if im ok. i turn my attention back to the blank tv, all i can see if my pitiful self.
