JackAveryMusic to our cute little babies.. mama, dada and sissy adore you both with our entire hearts, we couldn't be happier to have yous in our lives. we've loved keeping you two our little secret but it's time we share your cuteness overload with everyone. from the day we found out, you two really had changed our lives in the best of ways, and we're going to love you for forever. to our eager skyler.. you're gonna change the world, we just know it. from the second you decided that you needed to be here early and couldn't be in mama's belly any longer, to how quickly you raced your way out of nicu, your tiny self continues to surprise your parents. and to our little warrior ryder.. you're the strongest baby ever. watching you grow and fight your way through the first almost two months of life hooked up to machines, it was definitely one of the hardest times for your mama and i, but we know for a fact you're gonna be the coolest little dude alive (especially with me as your dad😎). we can't wait to watch yous grow up, continue to get cuddles 24/7, travel the world and share a whole bunch to memories with you two. and finally to my gorgeous girlfriend, the woman who created these two beautiful babies, you really are superwoman. being able to stand by you through this has been so eye opening to how different pregnancy can be. i'm so sorry you had to deal with the pain of loosing two babies and then experiencing the worst of symptoms during this one. watching you the day our babies were born was definitely the scariest of times but i know we can both agree it was all 10000% worth it. i love you so so much and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and our not so little family of five 🤍

"Alright gorgeous," Jack clapped his hands together to gain his girlfriend's attention as he entered into the twin's bedroom. "Let's get the babies stuff ready so we can go," he crouched down behind her and draped his arms over her, placing a couple kisses on her neck. "We're gonna be late."
"I'm busy," she mumbled, continuing to fold the now clean onesies as she watched over to two in their bouncers.
"I'll fold and put all these away when we get home, I promise," he unwrapped his arms and sat down beside her. "C'mon, let's go to your appointment."
"we can't go today.. we don't have time.."
"We planned today out, we do have the time-"
"no because our friends are coming, remember, I need to get this done and the babies need to go down for their nap and get everything cleaned up and all that before they come," she babbled.
"Everything's cleaned," he reassured her, rubbing his hand up and down her back. "And they're all coming later, we planned it so we had time to go to the doctor's."
"I'm busy!" she repeated in a frustrated tone as she flicked her head towards him. "We'll go another day, okay."
"We've already waited over a week, Adalyn.. we agreed to do it after Lav goes back to Gabbie and so we booked our appointment accordingly," he reminded her. "I done my part yesterday, now it's time to start yours."
"okay and," she muttered.
"..And we gotta get going.. for your appointment to talk about the options and that.."
"I'll reschedle it, it's fine."
"Adalyn..?"
"I don't want to go yet! okay?" she scoffed. "plus I told Val to come in like an hour, there's no time to go anymore."
"hey, look at me.." he softly spoke, gently grabbing her hand as she turned her attention to him. "it's still your decision, and it always will be.. so if you've changed your mind, it's fine, we'll make it work, but just tell me, okay? please be just honest with me."
"I don't know Jack!" she raised her voice more than previously, instantly startling their son who bursted out in tears. "Great now you've woken the baby," she groaned as she stood up and then leaning back down to pick up Ryder, rocking him in her arms. "I had just gotten him settle before you came in as well."
"sorry.." he apologised — although he knew it wasn't exactly his fault, he didn't want to annoy his girlfriend anymore than she already was.
"Just- let me alone!"
As much it had pained him, Jack let her walk out the room with their son without stopping her. Soon picking Skyler up, rocking her in his arms and softly singing to her before laying her down in her cot. Switching the lights off and sitting back down on the floor and using the light shining in from the hallway to fold the reminder of the onesies.
After a little over an hour passing, the little girl had awoken again in a hungry state and Jack took her downstairs for a feed while Adalyn was napping in the main bedroom with Ryder. But with the doorbell soon ringing through the house, it had cause the boy to wake up in tears which also woke Adalyn.
"oh my-" she muttered to herself, quickly sitting up and pulling the boy in her arms as tears fell from her eyes and her heart raced — freaked by the fact she had managed to fall asleep with him in her arms since she never wanted to put the little ones at risk. "I've never been happier that you woke me up, baby.."
Staying sat there for a second longer, she shushed the baby before letting out a sigh, getting up and heading downstairs. Slightly mumbling a quick greeting to their friends who had made their way to the living room with Jack, as she headed over to the kitchen to get the little boy a bottle.
"Sorry did we wake him up?" Valentina quickly apologised.
"It's fine, he slept for long enough, he's just sensitive to noise," Adalyn shrugged as she sat next to her boyfriend. "why didn't you wake me up?" she mumbled to him.
"you clearly needed it," Jack matched her tone.
"why didt you move him then?"
"I thought about it but we both know he would've woken up just like this and not gone back to sleep," he explained. "it's fine gorgeous, I was watching, I was in there then I had it on my phone, I wouldn't let anything bad happen."
"okay.."
"How are you, Adalyn?" her friend spoke up, gaining her attention once again.
"I'm alright.."
"Been loving having both the babies home?"
"mhm," she softly hummed.
"I see his feeding tube's out?" she mentioned, receiving another small hum. "He feeding himself properly now?"
"yeah.."
"Are you okay..?" Valentina said while slightly tilting her head at the girl. "I know you just said you're alright but you're just- you're really quiet today.."
"I am goinnng through it," Adalyn said in a sing-song way, following with a laugh.
"Gorgeous please tell her," Jack chimed in. "Maybe they can help us decide.. before Zach comes over.."
"I'm pregnant," she blurted out.
"Again?" she furrowed while speaking softly despite how surprised she was, receiving a small nod and watching Adalyn pick at her lips. "Is that possible..? I've had my period once since having her four months ago."
"with me apparently it is.." she shrugged. "I don't know... I do know I need to do something about it but I just can't do it.. I don't want to regret it again.."
"Addie," Valentina handed her daughter over to Jonah and moved over closer to the other girl, pulling her into a little side huh. "Can I remind you that you have three of the most adorable kids and that's all you've ever wanted.."
"I know.." she nodded. "but the more I think about it, the more I don't want to do anything. and I'm feeling so much better this time, and I already have a girl and a boy's name picked out, and it's not like we don't have the money or the room for another, so why should I do something?"
"Do you want another?"
"I don't know," she shrugged. "if we had've went right when we agreed and I didn't have two weeks to think about it, I.. I probably would've just made them do it but.. I can't bring myself to do it anymore. I mean I couldn't even take that stupid pill they gave me after being told I lost the last baby so there's no way I can do it for one that's still good."
"Aren't you going on a tour this year?" Jonah questioned.
"Yeah, we are," Jack nodded. "We're going all around the world.. aren't we, Adalyn?"
"It's only like ten shows, from like two weeks today to November and we're staying in each city for like a week, it's not like we're rushing around, and Naomi and Steph are coming to Europe and Australia and all that to give us a hand since we're gonna have Lavy as well and these two are gonna be more active," Adalyn babbled in defence. "plus I wouldn't be due till like January so it's fine."
"Well, it's your choice after all, and like if you decide to follow through or even have a fourth bubba down the line, we'll all be supportive of you and I'm sure- I don't know about yours Jack, but Adalyn, I know your family will defiantly be supportive, so of course you'll always have us if you even need a hand.." Valentina reasoned, "I know you just said how you've thought it out.."
"But please remember that you're gonna have three babies less than a year apart from each other and you should know how much attention newborn's need, and I know you don't like spending more than a few seconds apart from them," she continued. "We're still in our, what's consider, early twenties so you've got plenty of time to think about a forth, you don't have to do it now.."
"I took being pregnant for granted.." Adalyn mumbled her confession. "It's all I wanted and I- all I done was complain about it all the time and I didn't appreciate it like I should've been.."
"And you have every right to.." her boyfriend replied as he reminded her; "You had been pregnant for like ten months straight, do you really wanna add another nine onto that?"
"not really but.."
"You have many years to let these two grow up a bit, do the things you can't do while pregnant, support Jack through his tour, and then try for a fourth and appreciate that extra special pregnancy," Valentina mentioned.
"mh.."
"And plus, what if Doja goes on tour?" Jack added through a chuckle. "You already said you'd cancel any of my shows if you need to, how are you gonna do that if you're very pregnant.. or if it's when baby's here, you won't even leave me with one bubba, forget three."
"shut up."
"Have you been to the doctors yet?" the other girl spoke up again.
"no."
"And how many tests have you taken?"
"two.."
"mh.. maybe you should just go to the doctor's and sus everything out, then decide what you're going to do," she more so suggested. "I mean, what if they're both false positive, especially so soon after having them, maybe your hormones hadn't gone back and that's why you haven't been sick..?"
"oh, I've been sick.. just not as much."
"That's what we were suppose to do today, but someone had other plans," Jack commented.
"I rescheduled it for the thirty-first."
"We go to New York on the first?" he furrowed. "I already know that you're gonna say on the day that we're too busy packing to go.."
"I won't, okay!" she scoffed. "It was the only time she could do. Just make me go, force me to do it, and then never have to talk about this again."
"I'm not forcing you to do anything," he quickly disagreed. "I don't want you to hate me."
"When are you having another kid?" Adalyn switch the subject, turning her attention to the other couple.
"Not anytime soon," Valentina softly shook her head, while tickling Mabel and making her giggle. "When this one's like two or three, depending, we're gonna look into adopting.."
"oh.."
"When we're having a second shouldn't make up your decision.."
"no.. everyone's gonna judge us if we have four and our friends combined have one, let alone four while under twenty-five," she muttered. "Whatever, I'll just forget about it. I have other things I should be focusing on anyway."
"It's your decision, gorgeous.." Jack reminded once again.
