Narrator

Minji drove Haerin and herself over to Kid's house.

She was still a bit annoyed by Kid's last minute request, but her attention soon moved away from those feelings when she noticed Haerin clenching her first and tightly grabbing onto the passenger's side grab holder.

Minji wanted to grab a hold of Haerin's hand so bad as she drove, but she instead opted into asking....

"Does my driving make you nervous?"

- Haerin POV -

I had never been in a car with Minji unnie as the driver.

I didn't even know that she could drive.

I knew I should be impressed but ,for some reason, I was nervous.

I just wanted to grab her hand for comfort...

But I really didn't want to weird her out.

"Does my driving make you nervous?" Unnie suddenly asked.

"Yeah," I mumbled truthfully.

Minji suddenly extended one of her hands out with her palm opened. "You can hold my hand if it makes you feel better. I promise I'll drive really safely. Specially when you're in the car," she sweetly told me.

My breathing started to hitch again and nervously grabbed her hand.

"Better?" Unnie asked.

"Mhm," I hummed with a slow exhale.

Holding Minji's hand really eased my nerves.

Soon enough, we arrived at a fancy buildings parking structure.

"Where are we going?" I nervously asked.

"You didn't think Kid's snobby ass would live in a dorm?" Minji sassily asked before getting out of the car.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

Minji sometimes acted as if I knew Kid just as well as she did.

Unnie opened the car door for me and I got slowly got out.

"Come on!" Minji said as she grabbed my hand and pulled my towards some elevators.

We got into the elevators and got off in a really high floor.

"Kid must be really rich?" I thought to myself.

Soon, we reached a random door and Minji's phone started to go off with text messages.

"I knew there was no key!" Minji mumbled under her breath.

Unnie then input a code into the electronic doorpad the door suddenly opened.

Minji unnie slowly walked in and I quickly grabbed a bit of her shirt to follow her in.

"Where are you?!" Minji yelled in the huge apartment we had just walked into.

I felt really nervous about being a unknown place, but as always...

Being with Minji eased my nerves.

- Minji POV -

I looked around Kid's apartment just to find that Kid had already left.

"Ha, you thought!" Kid texted.

"Feed the cat and take a look at the surprise I left for you!" Another text came through.

I raised my eyebrows in curiosity.

"Kid texted that they left already," I let Haerin know.

Haerin just cutely nodded.

"Let's just find the cat and get out of here," I told her and gently moved her hand away from my shirt.

"Okay!" Haerin gave me small smile before starting to look around the apartment.

*MEOW, MEOW*

I started to hear meowing all of a suddenly.

I looked around to try to see if I could spot Kid's cat, but it was just Haerin being a little weirdo.

"You're so weird!" I chuckled out.

"Sorry!" Haerin gave me a meep face.

"It's okay, maybe it helps up!" I giggled at house adorable she was.

It took us a while but we finally ended up finding the damn cat.

"Of course, it would have hoodie on," I sighed to myself in a bit of amusement.

"Kid's cat kind of dresses like them!" Haerin suddenly started laughing.

Her laugh was like the most wonderful thing I had ever heard.

I could hear her laugh for hours.

I stepped up to pick up the car and noticed it had a collar underneath its hoodie.

"Is this cat's name really girlfriend?" I started to stupidly wonder as I pulled out the cat's tag.

I flipped the tag back and forth to try to find the cat's name....

It was named "Pig".

"Idiot!" I thought to myself.

"Kid is really weird!" Haerin started to laugh again.

I was really happy to see her laughing a lot.

After all this time of her being mad at me and us arguing a lot, it was nice to see Haerin's smile again.

"Okay, let's get you some food!" I cooed at the cat.

"Yay! I'm hungry!!" Haerin exclaimed.

"Not you! The cat!" I answered her.

"But I'm hungry too," Haerin pouted.

I giggled at her little cute behavior then took the cat to its feeding station.

Kid had left fresh chicken in the kitchen microwave for their kitty.

I walked over to get it and noticed what Kid said they left behind for me.

It was a medium sized black box.

I served Pig it's food then returned to the kitchen.

"What's that?" Haerin asked

"I don't know," I answered a bit confused.

I noticed a paper sticking out from the bottom of the box and pulled it out.

"Better take her to Central Park
before it goes bad! ';)

                          - Kid"

The note read.

I slowly opened the black box and smirked.

"Come on. Let's go!" I told Haerin and grabbed the box.

"What is that?" Haerin asked as we made our way back down to the car.

"You'll see!" I smugly responded.

"But, I'm hungry!" Haerin started to complain.

I chuckled an opened the passenger door for her.

"I didn't even eat breakfast!!" She kept on pouting.

"Hold this," I told her before closing her passenger door.

I then made my way over to the driver's side and caught Haerin trying to open the box.

"Don't open it!" I scolded.

Haerin quickly closed the box back up and put her seatbelt on.

I started to drive down to Central Park when I suddenly felt Haerin interlock her fingers with mine.

I turned my head towards my window to smile.

I didn't want Haerin to see how flustered I was.

"I wish she'd hold my hand like this all the time," I thought to myself.

Soon enough, we arrived at Central Park.

"Should we seat somewhere on the grass?" I asked Haerin.

"No, I'm hungry!" Haerin whined.

I tried to hold in my smile and raised an eyebrow at her. "Geez, I was told to feed one cat not two!" I teased her.

I then grabbed the black box from her hand picked a random spot to sit at.

A picked a random spot, but a good one... overlooking the pond.

I opened the box and laid its contents out on the grass. Meanwhile, Haerin was wondering and pouting around the park.

"Perfect!" I smirked to myself, once I was done with what I was going.

"What do you think?" I asked...

To apparently no one...

Because Haerin was still wondering bout.

I looked around for a bit, just to find her spacing out while picking at the leaves of a bush.

"Sooo cutee!" I cooed under my breath.

"Haerin-ah, come eat!!" I called for her.

- Haerin POV -

My ears perked up when I heard Minji call me "Haerin-ah".

I found Unnie signally me to come back to her and skipped my way over to her.

I was still really hungry, but I didn't mind it too much as long as I got to spend time with Minji.

"Seat down and eat!" Unnie ordered once I got closer to her.

"Eat?" I thought to myself.

I walked a little closer and found a really cute sight.

"You said you were hungry, no?" Minji smugly asked.

I couldn't help but smile as my heart started to race.

"You packed a picnic?" I asked a bit shyly.

"Actually, Kid left this for us. So make sure to say thank you when you get the chance!" Unnie answered me.

"Okay!" I exclaimed as I sat down with my legs crossed.

"I would have wanted to give you a better breakfast but Kid was kind enough, so I don't know how good the quality will be," Minji said as she handed me a pair of chopsticks.

I couldn't help but giggle at her remark.

"Unnie, don't be mean!" I laughed out.

I took a look a the few options we had and everything look pretty fresh.

"Huh? I wonder why Kid would do this?" I thought to myself.

"Does anything look good to you? I'll let you have the first bite," Unnie suddenly sucked me out my thoughts.

"Oh! This one has avocado!" I exclaimed a bit surprised.

"The one with avocado it is!" Minji giggled before grabbing a piece of the sushi with her chopsticks and putting up to my mouth.

I couldn't hold my shyly smile and a slowly opened my mouth.

Minji unnie then placed the sushi in my mouth and I felt myself instantly get 100 times happier than I already was.

"Is it good?" Minji asked.

"Yes, it's was so tasty because Minji unnie feed it to me!!" I unconsciously exclaimed.

Minji's eyebrows suddenly went up....

And I realized what I had said.

"If that's the case, then Haerin-ah should feed me my first piece too. So my food can taste just as good!" Minji unnie widely opened her mouth with a cute expression.

I felt like I couldn't stop smiling the whole entire morning... and this was no different....

"Okay, open!" I said as I grabbed a piece of sushi with my chopsticks.

"Yummmm!!!" Minji unnie teased as I placed the piece of sushi in her mouth.

I couldn't hold myself back from just laughing the whole time.

I was having a really good time.

For the rest of the morning, Minji and I ate and drank everything Kid had packed for us.

When we were done, my thoughts started to get the best of me again.

"Kids a weird person," I said out loud.

"Huh? Why is that?" Minji unnie asked.

"Umm...," I thought on If I should share my thoughts but untimely decided to.

"I've never met someone like them. Kid seems to be trying really hard to get us to spend a lot of time together or like they just seem really invested in our friendship," I explained my point of view.

Minji seemed to go into thought.

"Umm, I think I used to feel the same way....," Unnie answered me.

"Until, I realized that there's nothing weird about a friend who wants the best for you and wants you to be happy," Minji explained.

I felt a bit bothered my the smile she had on her face while she gave her explanation.

"Still think it's a little weird," I responded a little bitter.

"I think Kid just has a funny way of showing affection because no one ever taught them how to," Minji seems lost in her thoughts.

"But today isn't about Kid, is it?" She suddenly turned to ask me.

I don't know why her question caused my heart to flutter.

"Come on, let's go on with our date!" Minji suddenly got up.

I looked up at her a bit entranced.

All I could think was....

"She's so pretty".

I was too distracted by how gorgeous Minji looked that I didn't realized what she had said.

"Okay," I shyly mumbled.
