The two college students walked off campus together, hand in hand, as the sun casted a golden glow onto the city and dull campus. The leaves had all turned brown and looked dead as ever, crunching under one's foot.

Jeongin's heart was pounding loudly in his chest, his mind consumed with thoughts of the older, loving boy. He knew that he couldn't keep his feelings a secret any longer after he had just realised what was going on in his mind. The weight of his emotions was too heavy to bear, and he longed to share his love for Jisung openly—perhaps, today was the day he'd finally tell him.

But then again, he didn't want to ruin their amazing friendship and the future they'd possibly share, so he had stayed quiet for the past weeks. Yet there was just no way he could keep it to himself any longer, it hurt to call him his friend when there was the possibility for it to be way more.

As they walked, Jeongin stole glances at Jisung, admiring the way the sunlight danced on his face. He mustered up the courage to speak, his voice slightly trembling. "Hyung, there's something I need to tell you," He began, his voice filled with anticipation.

The brunette turned to him, his eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of affection, which Jeongin could see clear as day. He had learned what which look meant, from the endless of hours they spent together and the thousands of odd conversations they'd shared, so surely, he'd manage to confess now—even with the sudden- and odd-ness of it.

"What is it?" Jisung asked, his voice gentle yet blunt.

Taking a deep breath, Jeongin got prepared to speak from the depths of his heart. "I- uh, I'm forcing you to watch Spirited Away again today. Be prepared."

   He couldn't do it,

all of the world's eyes suddenly fell on him and he felt as if Jisung would just turn away and never talk to him again if he confessed something so stupid. "But- we just watched it yesterday! It's my turn to choose."

In dramatics, the older let go of the raven's hand and threw his arms in the air, before crossing them over his chest, sulking.

Jeongin couldn't help but let out a nervous laugh at Jisung's playful reaction. The tension that had built up inside him instantly dissolved into thin-nothings, and a sense of relief washed over him.

He realised, that even though he hadn't confessed his true feelings, their friendship was still strong and they could continue to enjoy each other's company—for forever, because like the brunette once said, nothing would ever stop him from pestering the younger.

The city was loud as they walked through the busy streets, hands tightly clasped together and feet tapping a steady rhythm against the cold, stone sidewalk. Every once in a while a car would honk—as something went wrong on the streets, or just for the fun of it—and Jisung would jump slightly and tighten his grip, the raven would only chuckle at that.

He had learned how much of an anxious person Jisung is, and he had also learned the reason behind it—there wasn't any. From birth onwards Han had been incredibly shy and nervous around people, it was just one of his traits, and Jeongin didn't mind being the one to hold him close in public when he got scared or anxious, in fact, he was happy he could help him—somewhat.

After roughly twenty minutes the two finally arrived back at their apartment and quickly went up the stairs with their bags on their backs, ready to be thrown off and onto the ground—like always. Laughing in a loud tone, the brunette sat himself down on the couch, one leg up on the armrest, men-spreading like there's no tomorrow.

Jeongin just stared at him, after he walked up to the living room. He just wanted to lie down and let his body go and was too lazy to walk to his bedroom, but with Jisung here spreading his legs, he couldn't help his mind drifting off. "What? Did I get you excited?" Han asked with a smirk, not expecting a nod.

His grin fell from his face in shock, as he opened his mouth wide. "Close your damn mouth Hyung, this looks wrong." "You were the one that just admitted he got horny! Am I not allowed to be shocked?!" Jisung genuinely questioned but now only got a joking answer, "You know anything you do is a turn-on."

With a giggle, he pulled out his phone and laid himself down on the couch, head on Jisung's lap—too close to his crotch for the older's liking, or perhaps, he enjoyed it weirdly enough.

Face flushed red, the brunette forced his head to look away from the cute boy lying on his lap and straight ahead into nothing, he wanted to turn on the TV, not Jeongin.

"Can't we just watch Howl's Moving Castle? It's way better!" "What did you just say?" Jeongin asked in a playfully serious voice, shocked by what the older had just said. He grabbed him by his shoulders and started shaking him—lightly. "Are you nuts? How dare you insult my favourite movie! Howl isn't even that good either!"

After the questioning conversation, the two had shared earlier in the evening, both of the college students had taken their time checking their phones and answering some messages before Han stood up to grab the remote (unfortunately pushing Jeongin off his lap in the progress.)

And ever since, they've been arguing about what to watch. The ravenette stood behind his statement of wanting to watch spirited away again after he came up with the words on the spot—having panicked at what he was originally going to say. Whereas Jisung protested, saying he wanted to watch his favourite anime instead, Howl's Moving Castle.

The two have never been particularly good at agreeing on things, so they decided on the most logical thing: call Seungmin. "Hyung! Jisungie Hyung is annoying me!" The youngest of the three screamed into the microphone of his Samsung, voice high pitched as he tried to push the oldest back by his head—as he was trying to snatch the phone.

Boredom laced the brunette's voice as he answered, the speaker making Jeongin deafen. "I ain't gon' deal with this, I got Felix over." "Aish, why is this so loud?" The raven mumbled to himself as he turned down the volume, "Yongbok Hyung? What are you doing?" "We're watching horror movies."

Yang grinned as he looked over at the brunette, letting his hand slip from his head. "Hyung, I got an idea."

Their bodies were glued together as the two stared at the screen, goosebumps covering the older's body, "Why did I agree to watch Annabel again?" He asked quietly, nuzzling his head into Jeongin's chest further. "It's a good movie," Was all the younger said as he adored his Hyung, way too caught up in his beauty to pay attention to the scary doll on TV.

He let a smile crawl up to his lip as Jisung hid his head under the blanket, "Awe" he cooed. "H-how can you be so calm? This shit is scary as fuck!" The brunette whined out, irritated by the younger smiling to himself. "C'mon, it's not that bad. Let's watch it after this."

"No!"

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

"Innie, no."

Jeongin simply laughed, he had to admit although some scenes just weren't scary at all, there were also some that sent shivers down his spine. Yet he couldn't care less, because the warmth of the other's body was letting his mind drift off again.

He just wanted to protect the older boy.

Carefully, trying not to scare the other, he planted a soft kiss on top of his head—earning an embarrassed whine from Han as he buried his face once again in his chest, hands tightly holding onto his back.

Jeongin couldn't help but coo again at the sight, letting his hands wrap around the other's tiny waist. Knowing the younger couldn't see his flushed cheeks, Jisung smiled. Finally, he was getting held by him again.

Softly biting his lip, the brunette shifted in his position, climbing up on the younger's lap. "What are you doing? You can't see the TV like this." Ignoring Jeongin's statement he let his body—like a missing puzzle piece—slide in all the curves of the younger's body. His hands either side of his waist and his head lying lightly on his shoulder, near his neck.

The raven felt the other's cool breath fan over his skin, tickling and sending shivers down his spine, just like the doll still playing on the screen did earlier. Yet the feel, the sensation, was different. It made his cheeks flare up and hands sweat.

Jeongin felt his heart pounding in his chest and he was sure Jisung could feel it too with the closeness of their bodies. The atmosphere in the room was charged with a blend of fear and anticipation, matching the suspense of the horror film they were watching. But even with the terrifying scenes and eerie music, Jeongin found peace in the presence of Jisung.

He couldn't deny the warmth that radiated from the older's body, drawing him in like a magnet. The way Jisung nestled closer, seeking comfort in his embrace, sent a wave of affection coursing through Jeongin's veins.

Oh, how Jeongin wished he had the guts to confess, it would've been perfect just like this.

But the fear of rejection and the potential loss of their friendship held him back. He didn't want to let the bond they had built over the years slip out of his hands just like this. So instead, he chose to cherish the stolen moment of closeness, silently enjoying the softness of the other's skin on his.

As the movie reached its climax, Jisung's grip on Jeongin tightened, seeking reassurance in the face of the terrifying on-screen events. Jeongin's heart ached with the desire to protect him, to shield him from any harm or fear. He longed to be the one who would always be there for the brunette, offering him comfort and love.

Letting his boldness grab ahold of him, Jeongin leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to Jisung's forehead once again. It was a tender gesture, filled with unspoken emotions and the depth of his affection. Jisung's breath hitched at the unexpected touch, his eyes widening in surprise—he had been focusing on the noises of the movie playing in the background and had long forgotten how close he was with his friend.

Jeongin pulled back slightly, his gaze locked with Jisung's. The room fell silent, the tension palpable between them. The raven's heart raced, embarrassed at the amount of love he was sharing for the other, what if he would take it the wrong way and ask him to stop?

But to his surprise, a soft smile spread across Jisung's face, his eyes sparkling with a mix of happiness and relief. Without saying a word, he leaned in and captured Jeongin's lips in a sweet and gentle kiss. It was a moment of pure bliss, a culmination of their unspoken feelings finally finding a voice.

Time stood still as they lost themselves in the warmth and tenderness of the kiss. The world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them intertwined in a moment of love.

Breath heavy, the two pulled apart, their foreheads rested against each other's as their breaths mingled. Softly, Jeongin let a content sigh escape his lips as his heart overflew with the newfound sense of belonging.

He wanted nothing more but to hold the other all night and shower him with kisses.

"I've wanted to do that for so long," Jisung whispered, his voice filled with sincerity. "Me too," The ravenette breathed, his voice barely above a whisper. It was a confession in itself, a confirmation of the depth of their feelings for each other.

Han felt the same. Both of them were deeply in love and couldn't keep their eyes—nor hands—off one another.

With a shared smile, they settled back into their comfortable position, returning their attention to the movie. But now, there was an added layer of intimacy and understanding between them, making both boys flush red—as red as their hearts beating for each other.

As the credits rolled and the room filled with silence, Jeongin felt the urge to connect their lips once again.

That incredible warmth he had experienced earlier took hold of him and he rested his hand on the older's cheek, looking sweetly at him with a hint of longing.

Jisung smiled at the raven, eyes half closed as he placed a soft peck on his lips. Feeling his cheeks warm up yet again, Jeongin was quick to pull him in again, not letting the other see his flustered state as he forced his eyes closed with the wholesomeness of another kiss.

And as they sat there, hand in hand, Jeongin knew that their friendship had transformed into something beautiful and enduring. They were no longer just friends walking hand in hand, but lovers navigating the world together, with their eyes locked on each other and each other only.
