Karan called teju as she was shooting, it's been a busy day for both and none could actually communicate properly. Just message about food and stuff, apart from that nothing. It was a get together with Meenu Di and her fiance family for which teju is also invited. He was thinking to pick her up but the actual thing was different from his expectations.
She was in her first day periods which he doesn't know yet and after a long gap, she was having this terrible pain bcoz of constant works and she just want to crash her bed. She wanted to talk to him and she believed he would understand.
Seeing his name in the caller ID, she smiled and picked the call.
Teju " Haa sunny "
Karan didn't realize her sad voice in hurry " Teju are u ready? "
Teju " voh sunny, I don't think I can make it up today "
He stopped the car, he was already frustrated with their work schedules and her refusing to come for his family get together made him piss.
Karan " Are u serious. You know they invited you and you also told me, you will be coming and what happened now. This is what you do always whenever something important comes with my side, what should i take this as.. Are u doing this purposely bcoz its Meenu, Y am I even telling you all this. Go home and have your fun.. Rakhta hu"
He cut the call and she looked at the caller ID with tears, she was already having a bad day and hearing him made it worse.
Karan was pissed, he don't know y but whenever she behave negligent towards his family thing, it hurts him more, he was afraid of his past thing. He knew she is not someone like his exes but still that fear make him mad and it turned bad. He called her again but she didn't picked up. He sighed and drove to the restaurant.
Teju was crying in the car, ajmal bhai was looking at her with worry, she asked him to drop at her place and he did. She doesn't want to go to his place when they both are not in good mood. He would reach late after the dinner and she will be alone which she doesn't want right now.
Reaching her home, she took a relaxing shower and had her food made her mother and layed on the bed. She remembered his words and that made her sad again.
Teja pov " why r u crying for that mad person teju, he doesn't deserve your tears. He is a stupid person. He really thinks that I m doing it purposely. Stupid gadha, y will I not go for Meenu Di, she is my favorite one.. How can he think I m deliberately acting like this. Karan kundrra, go to hell and I m really done with your nonsense this time "
Her tears soaked her sheets and she wiped them harshly and put her mobile on airplane mode so that she can rest without any disturbance.

Other side, he reached the restaurant and saw his family was already there and so his future jiju family. They waved at him and he settled in the chair. He passed his greeting to the family and They were talking to each other. He wondered why no one asked about teju but didn't ask them.
He was just thinking about her, how lively it would have been if she was here, he missed having her closer and the craving for her is making him more frustrated. He excused himself when they r done and moved to washroom, he looked at himself who was lost in something. He splashed water on his face and closed his eyes her smiling face came in his mind.
He sighed and picked his mobile, he called her but to his surprise the call was not reachable and he called again, he checked her last seen and it was some 10 minutes ago which made him frown. He was about to call Ajmal bhai when Meenu Di called him to be fast. He walked outside and they all settled in the car after bidding bye to each other.
Meenu Di " Sunny, how is teju, did she took any medicine? "
Karan was confused, he cringed his eyebrows thinking what happen to her and looking at his face they understood, he doesnt have any clue.
Meenu " Don't tell me you don't know she was having terrible stomach ache bcoz of her periods and that's the reason she couldn't make it up today "
He stopped the car with a screech making all gasp for second and his look says he messed up. He face palmed and cursed multiple times before starting the car.
Karan pov " fuck fuck, what the hell did I do, she was suffering in pain and me being stupid scolded her, I am an ass.. She must be feeling terrible, God y do it always happen to us. Y am I like this. "
They reached home and frowned on not finding her.
Papa " she went to her parents? You know that "
Karan looked down and to save him from her papa scolding session, Meenu di intervened " Papa, yes she is there. She told me. She said he was driving so didn't pick her call. She would stay there today "
Papa nodded but he could see the dissapointment in himself at karan face but didn't question more. Meenu Di glared at karan once Papa moved to his room
Meenu Di " You messed up again, right? "
Karan nodded " I... I said some Shit.. Like she always do this when something comes from my side. I blamed her for her negligence when she was suffering in pain. I m so bad meenu , I blamed her saying since it's you, she was doing this "
He sloped on the couch and covered his face with his palm and Meenu Di felt bad, how can she see her baby brother sad.
Meenu di " She is no where near to negligence sunny.. You know it's would be her who will be there for us first. She is the main reason for this wedding to happen and you blamed her saying this. And past is past, me and teju are good friend now and she is my favorite next to you. Sunny, look at me "
He looked at her like a lost baby and she cupped his cheeks " Don't lose her bcoz of your insecurities, she is not someone from your past, if there is someone who will hold this family together, then it's her, your teju, our laddooo "
He nodded understanding what she is trying to say and she pecked his forehead.
Karan " maanjayegi na " he asked her like a baby and she nodded " par aasani se nahi "
Karan pouted and Meenu Di ruffled his hairs before walking away. He called teju but her mobile was still not reachable and then dialled ajmal bhai. He said he dropped her 2 hours back and Karan sighed sitting on his bed.
Sleep was far from his eyes, he need her, he can't wait now. Picking up the keys, he headed to her home. He have a spare key and with that, he opened her home and reached her room. It was not locked and he moved closer to her. There were dried tears in her cheeks which made him feel like he is the worst person in the world.
He touched her cheeks and kissed there slowly, he gave feather kisses to her and she frowned in her sleep. He smiled and hide down beside her cot, she opened her eyes and saw no-one there. She frowned but closed again. She can feel him but frowned thinking how will he be here at this hour.
He again moved closer to her after sometime and pecked her cheeks, her eyes open wide and she looked at him, he kissed her forehead and she felt herself breaking down. She pushed him but he held her and made her sit in between his legs and hugged her from back.
Teju " leave me, you duffer insaan. Leave me.. You know.. You r right.. I don't care about our family, no no your family, I always do that and I don't care about you as well. "
He snuggled into her neck making her go weak on her knees but still she wriggled and he bite her nape making her scream his name.
Teja " bhediya kahika, I will kick your ass if u touch me once again. Go and bite who will come with you whenever wherever you want. I am not the girl for that right.. "
Karan in her ears " so you are saying, I m allowed to take any other girl anywhere and can hold her like this.. Bite "
She turned in a jiffy and slapped him hard across his face, he was surprised and she was also surprised.
Karan came out of his shock when he heard her sniff " Mujhe maarke khud roh rahe hai "
Karann " Laddoo, please don't cry "
She slapped him on his chest while crying " you find all this funny.. You will say anything to me and then come here like nothing happened and I should act fine with you. Do u expect me to be like that karan, if yes then I m sorry, Bcoz it hurts everytime you think that I will not settle in your family when I m trying my best to make my bond with them. What did you say, I always do that. You don't remember the days when I left my shooting early just bcoz Papa and momma are here. You forget the days where I shopped for Meenu Di bcoz I want her to look the best on her important day, how can you say I m avoiding the dinner bcoz its Meenu Di. Did you ever see me ignoring her or showing face to her. I forget everything she told about me and I am creating a new bond with her, me and her are having our best days sometimes together and you think I m cancelling plan purposely. When you will believe me that I m not here to separate you from your family? When will you understand that I want to be a part of that big family? I can't handle your misjudging me over this everytime like this karan "
Karan looked down as his own tears flew down his cheeks. He held her hand near his face and his tears soaked her hands making her look at him.
Karan " I m sorry, I m sorry, I m really sorry. I know I always hurt you, I say things which are not true but please don't leave me. You know i can't live without you. Teju.. Teju I know you r the best I couldn't ever get and I m.. I m... More blessed to get you in my life. My family is lucky to get you.. I... Know.. You.. You.. Will never.. Do.. Anything... Against them... But.. Sometime.. My..past.. Kicks in.. The traumatizing experience make me lose everything and I uttered shit.. I.. Didn't mean anything.. Please.. Don't leave me.. Slap me..kick me.. But don't say that I don't believe me.. I believe you.. I believe you more than anything in this world, more than myself, don't say that ever.. I m bad, I should have asked you what's the issues but I.. I got frusturated that I can't see you and I missed you much, that turned me like that at that second. I know it's not justified but please forgive me. I m sorry.. Please teju.. Don't leave me.. "
She couldn't stay angry longer when he is crying like a baby in front of her. He is her little, he messes sometimes but that's how human are right, they can't be perfect always and she know how traumatizing his past was, how he was left with none and only his family was there for him, they r so important for him.
She removed her hands and he looked at her like baby with sniffing nose and red eyes with tears. She cupped his cheeks and he gave in more to the warmth of her.
Teja " Tell me, you won't repeat this again " she whispered and he nodded no " never ever I will do this again. My family is not just mine, it's our family forever and you r their heart "
She nodded " voh toh mei hu " she smiled and he chuckled. He traced her cheeks and made her snuggle to him, he rubbed her tummy.
Karan " my baby was having so much pain and I wasn't there around na, sunny is bad "
Teju " No my sunny is not bad. He is just a idiot sometimes and yes baby is having moreee pain "
He dropped her on bed and she frowned, he pecked her lips " I will be back wait " he left downstairs
He came after sometimes with her hot bag and warm oil for her massage. She smiled at him. He placed hot bag on her tummy and took her feet in his lap to massage them as she have terrible leg pain during her periods.
Teja " Sunny meinu ek cheez chahiye"
Karan " kya bibi ji "
Teja " Tussii aajao sunny... Meinu tu chhaiye.. Aithe "
He went aww on her talks and moved to her keeping the oil on table, he layed beside her and she hoped on him making him chuckle.
Karan " You don't want hot bag, it will relieve your pain jaana "
Teja " Nah. I want your warmth only.."
He chuckled and she snuggled into her neck as he wrapped her protectively in his arms.
The silence was soothing after their chaotic day and he smirked " waise laddoo... You said I can take anyone.. "
She bite his neck " don't even think about that, I will kill you if you even say other girl name. You r mine.. Samjhi.. Voh gusse mei agaya bas "
He laughed and she bite again making him groan " you can't do this to me laddooo "
Teju lifted her head " everything is fair in love and war sunny "
Karan " And I love you my baby girl "
Teju " I love me too "
She giggled and he kissed her lips, she smiled and snuggled to him " This is my comfort zone "
Karan " You r my comfort "
They are each other comfort :)
