"im cold," olivia whispered, rubbing her hands while elijah chuckled lightly. "it's only the fifth time you've said it," replied the young man, pushing her with his shoulder.
"and we've been outside for ten minutes," alyana added, smiling too. "fuck you," olivia muttered, rolling her eyes. the brother and sister burst out laughing at their friend's sulky expression because they knew well that she was cold.
"when are you coming home?" the brunette suddenly asked, rubbing her hands. "i'll be back in three days," elijah replied, looking on his phone to check.
alyana moved a little more quickly to face them when she raised her arms dramatically, "just arrived you left already."
"could you come with?" his brother suggested, smiling at her. "this would be a good vacation for you," olivia added.
the blonde sighed softly, obviously understanding what they were doing, she had told them about timothée's call on new years eve. since then, they were trying to keep her away from new york so she wouldn't think too much of her ex-boyfriend, unfortunately she still thought of him even though she was moving away.
"i prefer to stay here," replied the young woman, smiling. "plus gracie should come join me in a few days normally."
elijah walked towards his sister before rubbing her hair, a sign that was intended to be affectionate. "don't do anything stupid," he muttered.
"im the big sister, you have no right to give me orders." alyana said falsely before laughing with her brother. "are you okay olivia?" elijah asked after calming down.
the young woman was looking at her phone, her eyebrows furrowed before looking up at her best friend with an apologetic look.
"what's the matter ?"
