"Where are you going?" Mindy asked as Lu walked to another subway. "To my parents," said Lu, "I promised them." Mindy squeezed her eyes together. "Okay, fine. But if a murder happens in the meantime, you're at the top of my list," Mindy said as she pointed to Lu. Lu rolled her eyes. "Be careful, okay," said Ethan to his crush. Lu nodded and got into the subway.

The subway was almost completely empty except for a few people. Not many people take the subway toward Woodsboro. No one wants to live in that horror town these days. Not after all the murders. They also call it a cursed town.

Her parents had bought the house from Heather McCoy. It had stood empty for years after the world found out she was one of the three behind the murders.

Lu was so relieved when she could finally move out, away from that horror house. She still had no idea why her parents had bought that house. Her mother thought her father had bought it because he used to be in love with Heather.

After two hours, she was finally at the Woodsboro stop. Lu stepped out, when she was suddenly pulled into a crushing hug. "My little Lucretia," said Richard, her father. "It's Lu, Dad. You know I hate that name," Lu chuckled. Lu smiled at her mother who stood behind Rcihard.

"How are you doing? Did you have a good trip?" her father asked her. "Richard, take it easy," Anna hissed at her husband. Lu chuckled. "We saw on the news what happened. Thank god you got away from those Carpenter sisters," Richard growled. '"It's not their fault," said Lu as she walked to her father's car. "I don't trust that Sam," sighed Anna. "Sam didn't do anything. She wasn't behind those murders last year either!" shouted Lu as she sat in the car.

"How do you know that huh? We were still living in Florida when that happened," Richard snapped. Lu sighed and leaned against the window of the car. This was certainly not how she had pictured a day with her parents.

A shiver went down Lu her spine as she saw her parents' home. The house had something frightening about it. Maybe because it was the home of a serial killer.

"I'm sorry, Lu," said Richard as they got out. Lu frowned. "That I went off on you like that." "It's okay, Dad. I understand you just want to protect me," said Lu with a faint smile. Her father nodded.

Lu stepped into the house feeling sick. Like she was being watched. Lu looked over her shoulder, but she didn't see anyone. Lu entered the house with a strange gut feeling. Something wasn't right.

"I have to be back home tonight. I promised my friends I was going out to dinner with them," Lu lied. The truth was that Lu wanted to get out of this house as soon as possible. How could her parents live here?

"I thought you were staying the night with us?" asked Richard. "No, sorry. I promised Chad," said Lu with a nervous laugh. "Chad? I never heard you mention a Chad. Tell me about this Chad," said Anna as she leaned over the couch with a glass of wine. "Uhm....Chad is my best friend. He had been through all this horror last year here," Lu told her. "Just a friend," her mother nodded teasingly. Lu rolled her eyes.

"I'm going upstairs," said Lu. "Why?" asked her father who opened the newspaper. "Just checking out the house," lied Lu, who actually wanted to get away from her parents. "Mhm, as long as you indicate in time when we should take you to the subway," said her mother as she turned on the TV. Lu nodded, but her parents didn't notice.

Lu walked up the stairs. Now that she was alone in the house, she got an even worse feeling that she was being watched. Lu tried to ignore the feeling but it was too strong. She could hear her parents talking downstairs.

"Richard, hide the knives," she heard her mother whisper. "Come on, do you really think she is behind it?" Richard asked his wife. "You never know, Richard. With her past," Anna hissed at her husband.

With her past? Lu frowned? What the fuck were her parents talking about.

Lu stopped at the stairs to the attic. Lu looked up. It was quiet and dark there. Without thinking, she walked into the attic. She clicked the light on. It didn't help much.

"Fuck!" Lu yelled as she tripped over a box. She lay sprawled on the floor. She groaned as she stood up. "Everything okay, Lu?" her mother called from the bottom of the stairs. "Yeah, I tripped over my own feet!" Lu lied. Her mother said nothing more and walked back to the kitchen to refill her glass with wine. Of course her parents didn't come up to check if she was really okay.

Lu kicked the box, expecting it to be empty. She groaningly gripped her foot as she kicked against a hard box. Her parents had moved in months ago, hadn't they? Why did they still have full boxes standing around.

Lu took her phone out of her pocket and shone the light on the box. 'Papers from Lucretia' was written on the box. Papers?

Lu opened the box as she shone over the papers with her phone. 'Adoption papers, Lucretia' it said on the top folder. What the fuck. Was she an orphan first?

Lu opened the folder. It was indeed her adoption papers. Anna and Richard were not her real parents. But then who were?

Lu searched further through the folder when she suddenly saw two names. Her breath caught in her throat as she read her parents' names. Heather McCoy and Billy Loomis.

It can't be. Then was Sam her sister? But Billy and Heather both have brown eyes, so how could Lu have blue eyes?

"You have your grandmother's eyes," sounded a male voice. Lu shone scared back and forth with the light of her phone. Lu looked scared at the mirror, in it, Billy Loomis could be seen. "What the fuck, you should be dead," whispered Lu as she walked up to the mirror. "No way, huh. Neither did I," said Billy scoffingly. Lu's hands began to tremble.

''Are you really my father?'' asked Lu anxiously as she sat down on the ground. "Yeah, Sam is your sister," told Billy. "So Sam is no Carpenter?" asked Lu who was very confused at the situation. "Nope," said Billy as he shook his head. Lu breathed in and out nervously.

"But how can you be my father? You and Heather both have brown eyes," Lu asked as she tried to avoid his gaze. "Because in Heather's genes are blue eyes. Almost her whole family had blue eyes except her," explained Billy. "That's why I said, you have your grandmother's eyes."

"At first I thought she had gone behind my back with Stu, but when everything was explained she was already dead."

"Hey, but you are strong. You are a daughter of two serial killers," he laughed. "What should I do now? Now that there are two or I don't know how many walking around New York now," Lu asked stressed. "Hunt them down," was Billy's reply. Lu frowned and wanted to look at her father, but he was already gone.

Lu stumbled upright and grabbed the folder from her box. She ran down the stairs to her so-called 'parents'.

"Is this real?" Lu angrily asked her 'parents' as she stood in the doorway. Her 'parents' turned to 'their daughter'. "Where did you find that?" Anna asked as she set down her glass of wine. "In the attic," snapped Lu. "We'll explain everything, Lu," said Richard as he slowly walked toward his daughter. "Yeah, that's definitely why you guys had to hide all the knives," spat Lu.

"Lu, we can explain," Anna tried to calm her daughter. "No, I don't want an explanation I know enough. And one thing I know for sure, I never want to see you again!" Lu shouted. "Lu, wait!" yelled Richard, but Lu ran out of the house.

Lu started crying as she walked to the subway station. How could she ever tell this to anyone? And was she going to tell Sam? Sam had every right to know.
