"When did you even start getting along with that gorilla?" Nobara asked Yuji as the four of them sat in megumis hospital room peacefully eating pizza
"Well, we got along but like...i remember what happened but I wasn't exactly myself then.." yuji stated rubbing his head
"What were you drunk?" Sae said taking a slice of pizza from the box
"You believe I could've been drinking liquor in that situation? I'm shocked." Yuji said causing her to giggle
"But I'm glad you weren't seriously hurt, fushiguro" Yuji said with a smile as they all turned to look at him
"Yeah you scared me" Sas sighed "I don't know exactly how they looked but the way maki described those flower things were seriously creepy" Sae sighed
"Apparently I got off easy because my cursed energy was all dried up, Ieiri was able to fix me up as soon as the roots were removed"
"That can happen?" yuji said
"You fought against it right?" nobara retorted
"Hey Sae, how do curses look to you?" Yuji asked as Megumi hit him over the head "Don't ask insensitive questions"
"Nah it's fine" Sae said "it kinda hazy, like somethings there but not there, so I usually use things suck as air density, temperature and pure instincts to detect their moves, but I can hear them" Sae stated as she finished her slice
"Ohh" Yuji and nobara said
"How's Kamo doing?" Megumi asked as he fought with nobara over the last slice
"Huh? How would I know? I haven't visited him" sae said as she stretched
"How come? He's your brother right?" Yuji asked
"Just because they're siblings doesn't mean they have a good relationship, I told you that yesterday" Nobara said defending Sae as she smiled
"But I thought you two had made up" megumi said
"Why?" Sae questioned as she opened her drink
"You guys were actually talking to each other like siblings for a bit when we encountered that special grade" megumi said as he took a bite out of the pizza to Nobaras frustration
"Oh that? Yeah that's a bit complicated" Sae said with a dry chuckle. "Did he atleast apologise to you?" Nobara asked
"Yeah, but it's a bit too late now" Sae said in a distant tone as she thought about their conversation getting up, "where are you going?" Yuji questioned
"To check on Noritoshi" Sae stated as she closed the door
The girl made her way into his hospital room to find her brothers face covered in bandages seemingly asleep
Atleast he's still alive, she hummed as she went to exit the room
"Sae?" Her brother called out as she let out a sigh. "I always forget you're able to notice me" she said as her older brother struggled to sit up
"You look like shit" she snickered as she could tell he was giving her an unamused look
"Why are you here anyways?" Noritoshi asked, Sae being the last person he'd expect to visit him even though no one had bothered to so far
"Just came to check that you were alive" Sae hummed wearing her usual neutral almost agitated expression
"Plus, blood is thinker that water isn't it?" She said Turing her back to leave

"What the hell did I miss?" Sae questioned as she found megumi and nobara but no sign of yuji and a broken door
"The Gorilla attacked" Nobara said as Sae sat down
"How's Kamo?" Megumi asked
"He looks like a mummy" Sae answered
"You were fast, did you even visit him?" Nobara asked
"I didn't go to talk, I just went to check he was breathing" Sae said as nobara hummed
Eventually Nobara left to go check up on maki leaving Sae and megumi alone
"Sae, you seem distant, is something wrong?" Megumi asked as the two lay in silence
"Noritoshi apologised to me, and although I still love him in some way, I can't bring myself to actually forgive him and it's making me feel like I'm being childish for holding this grudge" Sae said
"I just miss my older brother" She sighed as Megumi listened to her
"Well, you don't have to forgive him right away or ever to be honest. It's not as if you owe him anything, he's the one that did you dirty" Megumi said
"You're a good person Sae, just because you're finding it hard to forgive someone who mistreated you for years doesn't change that" Megumi continued
"At least, not in my eyes" He finished as Sae gave him a warm smile resting her head on his shoulder
"Thanks, Megumi" she whispered as she drew circles on his palm with her fingers
"Wait what's the time?" Sae asked as she looked at the clock. "Shit I have a shoot on a movie set at 11:00!" She said as she got up. "Bye Megumi, get some rest" Sae said as she gave him a kiss on the cheek before rushing out leaving a bewildered megumi staring at the door

"Are you sure you don't want to stay for lunch?" Rirako said as Sae shook her head "I have a school competition I have to attend, tell Nami I said hi!" Sae smiled as she waved goodbye to her friends sister getting on a bus back home
"Sae where'd you get those clothes from??" Nobara said in awe as Sae came back wearing a matching red tartan skirt with fur at the ends paired with a longsleeveved tight fitting jacket of the same material having a fur hood, she wore long dark brown and white boots along with her normal bracelets and her hair had more volume being cut by the stylists to make it look fuller and bigger
"You look really pretty" Megumi said out loud accidentally. "Thanks, the brand I did a shoot for let me keep this outfit since I'm close with the creators sister" Sae smiled "it's just like yukaris outfit for her first shoot!" Yuji said talking about Parakiss as Sae nodded
"That was the inspiration, Rirako, the creator of the brand I shot for, is a huge fan of Parakiss" Sae smiled as a blonde raced towards her
"Excuse me Kamo!" Momo said as she looked up at the girl.
"Hello" Sae said
"I was wondering if I could get a picture with you!" Momo spoke quickly as Saes expression softened
"Sure" she smiled as she bent down a bit taking a picture with the girl
"I'm gonna go change into my uniform now" Sae said waving to her friends and Momo who had rushed towards Mai and Miwa to show them the photo

"So many things have happened and some people died, what do you want to do?" Continue the goodwill event?" Gojo said as he questioned both the Kyoto and Tokyo students
"When you put it like that.." Yuji began before Todo cut him off
"Of course " Todo grunted as he crossed his arms
"Why?" Gojo questioned
"First, mourning is for those close to the people that have passed away, that's not our concern " Todo said as he raised a finger. "Second, since people have died, it's all the more reason we should get stronger! Strength is built based on the accumulation of results, either suffer the defeat or taste victory. That's how we grow. Results are important since they're physical proof" Todo stated
"And you say I sound like her" Sae scoffed as Todo wore a small smile at her words
"Third!" Todo began. "The feeling of not finishing up things in school will make you regret it for a lifetime!"
"How old are you?" Gojo joked
"He's finally starting to sound mature, I say yes to continuing the event" Sae said
"Same here" Megumi said from beside sae
"We'll win anyways" Nobara hummed
"It's ridiculous but it makes sense" Noritoshi added
"Shouldn't you be resting?" Sae muttered
"I have no objections" Panda chimed in
"Salmon"
"Do we decide the individual battles by drawing lots?" Maki asked as Gojo turned to her
"There's no individual battles this year, I hate following a fixed set of rules but every year, the team events are put into a box and opened on the day" Gojo answered as he tossed the box to yuji promting the pink haired boy to stick his hand into the box taking out a piece of paper
"Baseball??" Principal yaga said

"Megumi look!" Sae said as she put her helmet on "My hair looks like a lions mane!" She smiled as he patted her hair into shape
"And you're as scary as a lion" Yuji mumbled "What's that supposed to mean??" Sae yelled as she started chasing yuji around the field
"Megumi, Nobara! Help!" Yuji screamed as he saw Sae trailing behind him, making him scream even more
"Sae you're fielding! Don't give yuji a heart attack" Maki said as Sae stopped chasing after yuji as went to her position
She watched as miwa struck the ball prompting Nishimiya to run which she guessed she wasn't supposed to do due to utahimes reaction
"Got it" Sae said unenthusiasticly catching the ball and throwing it to panda "Nishimiya out!" he stated as the girl argued with her teacher over the rules of baseball
Next up was noritoshi kamo who was too indulged in his conversation with Yuji to bat the ball
"Strike! Batter out! Change out!" gojo exclaimed making a dramatic pose
"Kamo you won't get a hit if you don't swing" nobara yelled as she got ready to bat
"Loser!" Sae said to her brother as she took a seat
"Shut up Sae" Noritoshi scoffed

"They call me the Mah-Kun of Tohoku," nobara said making a dramatic pose
"No, Mah-Kun is the Mah-Kun of Tohoku." Megumi said
"Mah-Kun's a pitcher you know!" Yuji corrected her
"Bonito flakes"
"Who's Mah-Kun?" Sae said not understanding a single this they were saying as nobara gave them a glare
Just then Mai came in with a pitching machine mechumaru pushing nobara off the brink "that's it!" nobara said making her way over to mai
"Kugisakis snapped! Get her!" Yuji yelled as panda held her back "it was just getting interesting" Sae sighed as she sat back down
"You just like to fight" Noritoshi said
"Shut the fuck up!" Sae yelled

Sae watched in confusion as megumi hit the ball with the end of his bat, nobara making it to second base whereas he was struck out
"Have you learnt nothing from my teachings??" Sae said as megumi jogged back towards his peers
"If Nobara gets into base, that's still a win, right?" Megumi reasoned as Sae flicked his forehead. "Yeah but you shouldn't hold back" She said as the two sat down away from their peers "what does that mean??" Megumi asked getting defensive
"You to give up too easily Megumi, I already told you, you have a lot of potential yet you don't want to show it, you'd rather your comrades succeed compared to you"Sae said as megumi gave her a scowl "isn't that a good thing?" He said
"I'm just saying, be more selfish, because no matter who you surround yourself with, when you die you'll be all alone" Sae said as Megumis eyes widened
"Look, I just don't wanna see you die, I really like you, shikigami user " Sae spoke softly as she looked megumi in the eyes the noirette slightly laughing at the nickname
"I won't" he said almost in a whisper
"Good" she sated as the two of them got up "you look good in a baseball cap" Megumi said
It was Saes turn to bat, she waited for the ball to come intentionally missing it "oh damn" she sighed as her friends gave her confused looks "What was that??" Maki screamed
"My bad" Sae frowned as she missed the next one
"Sae get your head in the game!" Nobara yelled "she's showing off" Noritoshi said as Sae smiled
"You know me so well!" She yelled as she hit the third ball with full force leaving an indent on her metal bat as it caught Nishimiya who was on her broom off guard shooting past her
"Yay!" Sae smiled as she hit a home run.
"Home run!" Gojo yelled taking off his glasses as Sae teammates congratulated her
"His eyes!!" She screamed pointing at her teacher
"You've never seen my eyes?" Gojo deadpanned as sae and Nobara inspected them
"No!" Sae said
"It's like he's looking into my soul" Nobara shuddered

Sae watched as Maki hit the ball directly at todos face causing him to dramatically fall into yujis arms
"Todo hang in there!!" yuji screamed
"Nice pitch" Noritoshi and Sae shouted giving each other glares for jinxing one another as Sae took a picture of todo while everyone else congratulated Maki, yuji wearing a horrified expression
"Todo...everyone.. really hates you!"

"Sae" A voice called out as Sae turned to see Noritoshi walking towards her interrupting her conversation with Megumi who gave the older Kamo a scowl before giving the two their space
"What is it?" Sae said her voice going back to it's normal sarcastic tone. "Father called, he asked how you did in the exchange event" Noritoshi said
"I don't care, did you walk over to me to tell me how the two of you talked shit about me on the phone?" Sae spat as her brother shook his head
"I told him you did well, and fended off a special grade better than me" Noritoshi said as Sae crossed her arms "Unfortunately, He's coming over" Noritoshi sighed as Sae started coughing profusely
"Now why'd you do that?? I don't wanna see him" She yelled at her brother "He insisted, I couldn't tell him no, you know how he is " Noritoshi said with a similar panicked expression as Sae gave him a scowl "He said he might consider letting you be graded, if the elders don't interfere" Noritoshi said as Sae pinched the bridge of her nose
"This day was actually going good" she groaned as she walked away from her brother. "What's wrong Sae?" Yuji asked as panda flung him around "My fathers coming" She said as megumi nobara maki and toges faces went pale. "The head of the Kamo clan??" They shouted as Sae nodded hiding behind panda
"If I wanted to I could probably cause him some harm, but he scares me to death" Sae said she was made sure she was out of sight
"I feel you, once he came to our estate and just the sight of him was intimidating enough" maki said "You're kind of like him in that sense" she hummed as Sae frowned as her friends tried to distract her from the sons of a car pulling up
"Sae" The booming voice of her father said as megumi held her hand. "Where is she?" She could hear the man's voice ask "and why are you all bandaged up?" He said to Noritoshi "I told you. There was an unregistered special grade we fought against" he brother answered
"Alright I'm here" Sae said as she let go of Megumi and stood infront of her father, yuji gabbing nobara who attempted to run at the guy and dragging her behind a building
"Hm, you don't have any injuries" Her father said as he noticed his daughters cold stare. Although no one in the clan would admit it, once Sae turned thirteen it was like something switched in her, the sight of her and the way she looked at members of the Kamo clan brought a fear deep inside their bodies that they didn't know they had out
It was as if she wanted to kill them, but chose not to. She probably did want to with what they'd all done
"You really are a creepy child you know that?" Her father smirked as he brought his hand up to lift her chin Sae grabbing it as pushing him back
"I'm not scared of you anymore, what do you want?" Sae said as Noritoshi watched the two not knowing what to do
"You know, if you continue on with that attitude you'll remain upgradable for the rest of your life" Her father smiled
"I don't really care" Sae spoke "But, I promise you, I'll kill you one day" Sae said gravely as her father smiled "Good, I look forward to that day" he stated "For once. Make me proud to have had you" he stated patting her shoulder
"Yes sir" she spoke as the man made his way to principle Gakuganji and Principal yaga
"What's this geezer doing here??" Gojo said as Saes father gave him a look, yaga putting the white haired male in a chokehold as Utahime snickered
"You'll never get anywhere if you carry on talking to him like that" Noritoshi stated as Sae shrugged
"I don't want to, you guys made me suffer enough. Why would I want to go back to having to beg you or him for something like being promoted?" Sae said
"It's not worth it, I wanna stay true to myself, and that includes distancing myself from this family and their warped values" Sae stated as her brother looked at her
"Are you sure you're not the older one" Noritoshi scoffed. "You never used to speak like that when we were younger" Noritoshi stated
"People change, I'm sure you know all about that" Sae replied as her brothers face softened
"I miss you, but I can't forgive you just yet, just seeing you brings back hateful thoughts into my mind" Sae said as she walked away from Noritoshi. "I hope you'll have fun being the clan head" She said leaving her brother to stare at her with a sad expression before Mai and Momo called him over
"Who's shikigami is this??" Sae heard her father yell as a dog bit into his leg before dissolving Gojo and Yaga choosing to fake ignorance
"He had it coming" Megumi said as he began walking next to Sae. "You could get in serious trouble you know!" Sae said to the boy as she lightly pushed him. "But thank you" she smiled a big and genuine one
"I feel lighter" Sae huffed as she held megumis hand
"What did you guys chat about??" Maki asked
"It was so intense! I felt like I was suffocating!" Yuji said as he let go of nobara
"I'll kill that creepy old man" she huffed before hitting yuji over the head
"I told him I'll kill him one day" Sae stated as she played with her bracelet, her fellow students giving her mortified looks "what did he say??" Megumi questioned
"Tuna mayo?"
"He looks forward to the day, and that I better make him proud"
"You guys are one weird family" Maki said as Sae laughed a loud and boisterous one catching them off guard. "I know right! I can't wait!" She smiled as her friends looked at her
"I've never heard you laugh like that" megumi said as they all nodded
