The four friends found themselves In a cave like place surrounded by wholes on the ground but no curse in sight
Sensing another presence Sae immediately pulled megumi out of the way as a curse came running at them like a bull
"This is unrelated to the curse, right fushiguro?" Yuji asked as Sae ran at the small curses popping out of the ground successfully exorcising them Sae continued her attack on the multiple curses appearing from the ground with the help of megumi and nobara while Yuji went after the uglier curse
"How many of them are there?" Sae huffed starting to get impatient "We should keep going like it's whack-a-mole huh?" Nobara started "Yeah, keep expecting them for me we'll kill every last one, it likely won't retaliate" megumi said
"You mean it's main body doesn't have much offence since it technique covers a wide area, even limited as it is?" Nobara questioned as she looked around
"I'm only saying it's likely" megumi stated before a black hole appeared in the wall dragging nobara in
"Kugisaki!" Megumi said rushing towards her
"I'm fine! More importantly, deal with the whack a mole"
"Why are you always getting sucked away??" Sae sighed as she turned to Megumi Before either of them could collect their thoughts, the other cursed spirit made it's was into the hole yuji chasing after it
"It got away! Should I let it go?" Yuji questioned "Chase after it!" Sae said "kugisaki and that thing both went outside the barrier, she might be battaling against something more troublesome than we expected" she explained
"I'm contrast, things are far easier here than anticipated I can handle this easily and so can Megumi" Sae shouted
"Prioritise kugisaki and go after it!" Megumi shouted as yuji nodded
"If things get back in here then you come out too" yuji said as Sae nodded

"Hm, so that's the main body" Sae stated as her and megumi looked up at it as the same curse from that night at the juvenile detention centre fell out of it along with another curse that looked almost reptile like, covered in scales yet having a human like upper and lower body
"Are you serious?" She sighed coughing up her curse and taking out her axe as megumi took out his blade, but before he could strike the curse blurted out a ball of cursed energy moulding it into an arrow like shape and launching it at megumi breaking his blade and sending him flying
The curse quickly got behind megumi attempting to hit him but his divine dog moved him out of the way but the curse was too fast punching megumi right in the face
