"What do you want from me?" Hana's voice came out quieter than she expected, surprising both her and her wolf.
You're calm.
I'm surprised too.
The girl put up her hand with a grin, "You sound like you will kill me. Take it easy! I saw you at the hospital and wanted to talk to you."
"You... want to talk to me...?" Hana could sense that she was scared, but she hoped she did okay in hiding it.
The girl nodded, "As I said, I'm Bora. I'm sure you've already realised I'm also a werewolf?"
Hana nodded, and the girl continued, "Well, I saw you at the hospital and you were stinking so I-"
"Excuse me?"
She waved a dismissive arm, "I don't mean it rudely. I meant your scent. All werewolves have a decent by which they can be identified by other werewolves. And vampires too, we'll be coming to that, so when we went into hiding we learnt to hide our scents."
"Is that possible?"
Bora'e eyes twinkled, "Anything's possible with enough practice!"
"Well, what did you want to talk to me about?"
"Well you don't seem trained and your smell is quite strong so you'll end up dying eventually if you don't learn to fight."
".... And that concerns you.. because?"
The girl frowned, "Our population has been reduced significantly since the last attack. I didn't expect there would be inexperienced wolves but here you are. How old are you right now?"
"19."
"Then you should have been trained one year ago. How did you survive?"
Hana didn't respond. She wasn't going to tell this woman about her past just yet.
The girl seemed to understand that. She shrugged, "Fair enough. But once you're ready to be trained, call me here." She handed Hana a card with her number.
"You seem sure I'll be willing." Hana said, taking the card. The twinkle came into the girl's eyes again, "Well, I'm sure you want to not die. Besides I'm sure you're wolf will persuade you too."
Damn, she's good.
Drop it.
"Goodbye!", The girl waved, walking away, "See you later."
"Wait!" A thought suddenly occurred to Hana, "Why... Why were you at the hospital?"
"I work there."
"Then... Mrs Kim..."
"Right. The person you visited was killed by some vampire. We had to cover up some bites."
"You covered it up?!"
"We can't let humans know our existence."
"Why not?"
"Because what just happened to that lady would happen to each and every one of them eventually."
A cold feeling settled in Hana's stomach. "Associating with humans is dangerous." Bora continued, "More for them and less for us. So, once you're prepared to protect the ones you care about, call me."

Why aren't you telling Sooji about this?
Someone knocked on her door and it opened shortly. Sooji walked in, "Can't sleep?"
"No," Hana sat up, "You can't either?"
The girl shook her head and lay down on Hana's bed. Hana lay down next to her. Sooji said, "So what have you not told me?"
"What?"
"You've been off since you returned home. What happened outside?"
"I..."
"I'm your best friend. You know you can tell me anything,"
"Well... I bumped into a werewolf on my way back. She... She offered to train me to control my powers."
"That's awesome! You accepted right?"
Hana hesitated, "I didn't give a particular answer. She told me to think about it and call her if I was willing."
"Then what are you waiting for?"
"I'm not sure I can trust her."
"Well you have to learn to control your powers and it would be easier with some help."
"I guess you're right."
"I always am."

"I'm glad you called," Bora smiled at Hana. "I was almost sure you would, but I was still worried."
Hana shrugged, looking around the house she had been invited to, "Big place." Bora laughed, "Come, I'll show you where you'll train."
Hana followed her to a large empty room with a raised platform at one end and a small table near it.
"Is this a training room?"
Bora nodded, "The house belonged to my great-grandfather. Since my mother died, it belongs to me. They used to train werewolves with their powers. Since neither of them trusted vampires enough, this house was kept a secret, which is why everything is still in place." She walked over to the table and picked up a bottle.
"Here," Bora offered it to her. Hana eyes it suspiciously, "What is it?"
"Not poison," The girl chuckled, "It's to hide your scent."
"Werewolves can make potions too?" Hana asked, carefully opening the bottle.
"Not werewolves. Vampires can though."
Hana blinked, "What?"
Bora grinned, "Not all vampires are bad. Just 99% of them!"
"So... A vampire made that?"
"Yes. Since you're apprehensive, I'll take a sip from it first," Bora took the bottle from her and drank a bit of it, "See? Not dead. Now your turn."
Hana drank the rest of the contents and put the vial down. She didn't feel any different so she asked, "Did it work?"
Bora nodded, "I don't sense your wolf at all. She may feel a little congested at first but it will pass in a minute."

"She can't breathe," Hana said, "What did you do?!"
"Hana calm down!"
"But-"
I'm alright.

Yes, I'm okay.
Hana exhaled, letting out the breath she had been holding in, "Sorry about freaking out. So what now?"
"We can train now," Bora replied, " Do you know anything so far?
"Um... Pretty much nothing?"
Bora nodded, "In that case, let's start with you changing into your wolf. You need to focus on letting your wolf gain control over your body, but not your brain. Close your eyes first."
Hana shut her eyes, waiting for the next instruction.
"Now try to find your wolf."
"...find?"
"Right now, you are only linked to your wolf through your mind. It's like you're two people. Try to link your soul with hers."
"How do I know when it happens?"
"You will."
Hana kept her eyes closed, waiting for something to happen. She felt a cold wind blow on her face, causing her to open her eyes.
She was on the shore of a beach.
A low growl behind her made her turn, and she saw a bluish white wolf behind her.
Somehow she recognised it, "Yule?"
