"You know I'm with you in whatever you do but make sure to call ya moms Ight?" He sat on the bench in the bathroom watching her dry herself off.
"I'll call her later" she grabbed the lotion covering her body with it, he watched her ever move before Dakota started to whine making him sigh
"Every time I try to get some my daughter says no" he stood up hearing kalani laugh, he walked out the bathroom seeing Dakota crying with tears pouring down her face
"Fats we here stop crying" he picked her up and rubbed her back, she hated waking up alone she cried every time
"Mmmmmdadada" she grabbed his shirt trying to pull herself closer to him, Saint kissed her forehead trying to calm her down. Kalani walked out of the bathroom wearing her pink robe
"Aw what's wrong baby?" Kalani walked over seeing Dakota with tears down her face laying her head on saints chest, she placed her hand on her back rubbing it
"You wanna eat? Mommy can make breakfast. Want some pancakes?" Dakota lifted her head at the word pancakes making them both laugh, kalani tied her robe and slipped on her slides walking out the room going down the steps with them following behind her
"the usual?" She asked Saint who nodded, he sat down at the table sitting Dakota on top of it
"mamamama" Dakota clapped her hands looking at kalani who was turning the stove on
"Yes baby?" Kalani looked over seeing them both stare at her
"Mamamamama" kalani just let her talk while she cooked, Saint looked at Dakota as she grabbed her shirt lifted it up. She pointed at her belly pushing her belly button in
"Say belly" Saint said making Dakota look at him confused, they've been trying to teach her to say more words
"Beeeeeee" she tried to say belly making Saint smile, kalani managed to finish cooking she cut up some strawberries for Dakota
"Baby put her in her chair please" he stood up placing Dakota in her seat strapping her in, kalani brought her plate sittigg by it down making sure it sticks to the top. She walked over grabbing her and Saint plate sitting it down on the Saint , she sat down and he made sure to sit right next to her.
"I need to call my mom" she sighed thinking about the conversation she was not in the mood for this
"You ain't gotta do it now, I gotta go by my office and by my moms today " she scrunched her face up she did not know why he was leaving
"Why? Why you leaving us?" She crossed her arms acrossed her chest , as much as Dakota was a brat kalani was a brat as well.
"I gotta work, I ain't leaving till later anyways relax" he chuckled watching her take her feet off his lap, she stood up grabbing his plate and her walking to the trash throwing it away
"Stop pouting treasure I won't be gone long. I ain't leaving till 4 it's 12" he pulled Dakota out of her chair letting her stand on the ground, he watched kalani ignore him as she grabbed Dakota plate putting it in the sink
"Come on Kota let's go. Clearly we're not loved enough for your daddy to stay with us hmmm" he made a straight face watching her take Dakota hand walking up the steps
"Cut that shit out fr" he followed behind them up the steps watching kalani lay in the bed while Dakota crawled over to her iPad
"I'm being a brat I know but I hate it when you leave. You know I'm clingy!" He climbed on the bed leaning down kissing her lips until she smiled
"I love you" he said against her lips

"Oh Kota momma sorry" Dakota was coming down with a cold , Saint was currently at the club handling a few things. Dakota cried in kalani arms, kalani felt her forehead and blew a breath. When she woke up this morning they did notice she was a little warm but thought it was normal due to the fact that kalani was also hot
But as the hours went by she started acting a little off which scared kalani but she told Saint he could go handle his business just to make sure he came back quickly.
"Come on Kota im taking you to the hospital " Dakota was getting warmer and kalani was getting scared, she grabbed her phone calling Saint who picked up on the first ring
"Baby she good?" Saint knew about Dakota maybe having a cold but it wasn't as bad as it was before he left
"No im taking her to the hospital babe she's warm and I don't feel right about this" he heard kalani sniffed making him stand up grabbing his keys
"Ight baby stay on the phone wit me, im on my way Ight? I'll meet you at the hospital " kalani grabbed her diaper bag and her purse placing Dakota coat on, she rushed out the door going to the car strapping Dakota in. Saint stayed on the phone with her the entire time as soon as they made it to the emergency room Saint met her at the car getting Dakota out her seat
They took Dakota inside speaking with the lady at the front desk, Dakota laid on Saint chest silently crying he kissed her forehead rubbing her back while they waited
"She's gonna be Ight mama stop bouncing ya leg" kalani looked at him with teary eyes, she's never had to deal with Dakota getting sick. When she was a baby she had little issues that kalani could fix at home
"Dakota?" The doctor called making kalani shoot up, Saint stood up following behind the doctor to the room. The doctor made kalani lay Dakota down and strip her out her onesie , after a 20 minute exam and a few test
"Okay so she only has a minor cold but it's good that you brought her in, she can take some medicine for a few days along with some rest and she'll be fine. Don't panic you guys are good parents, if you need me feel free to call me ok?" Kalani sighed of relief wiping her face, Saint rubbed her back he was relieved as well
"Thank you so much" she thanked the doctor who handing her the paper work along with the medicine
"You good? You scared the shit outta me"'Saint said and kalani nodded looking at Dakota who was drinking her bottle
"She was burning up and I just panicked I'm sorry I just got really scared. She's our baby I didn't know what to do "
"It's Ight stop crying baby she's fine we good, you stressing ya self mama stop " between Dakota being sick and kalani freaking out Saint head was spinning
"I'm sorry I'm sorry she's never been sick before I mean when she was 4 months she couldn't poop and that scared the bell outta me! I took her to the doctors and she literally pooped as soon as the doctor opened her diaper it was really embarrassing but now this now! I ok I'm breathing" she stopped ranting and took deep breaths, Dakota looked over at her mom and took the bottle out her mouth giggling at kalani crying face
"Look she Ight she a soldier you gotta relax " kalani wiped her face and looked at Dakota with a pout
"Saint is she making fun of me ?" She raised her eyebrows at her daughter who stopped laughing and put her bottle in her mouth
"Nah baby she not" he lied while rubbing the back of his neck he was not going to tell her the truth after the night she's had
"You lying to me I know you are, let's go home" she stood up, she walked over to dakota who threw her bottle on the floor and sneezed
"Oh! Bless you koko" Saint picked her up as kalani grabbed a wipe to wipe her nose as soon as she did Dakota started to whine
"I know I know mama sorry I love you, come on we can go home and I'll make you some food ok?" She threw the wipe away and watched her as she clung to Saint. Kalani grabbed her phone and Saint and walked out of the door she waved at the nurse and walked out of the hospital with a sigh of relief
"You wanna put her in the car with you?" She asked Saint who nodded he wasn't about to fight with Dakota, as soon as Saint opened the door to put her inside she saw kalani get in her car and her bottom lip started to shake
"Come on fats we gon see her in a middle " she sniffed with her lip still poking out, Saint sighed he didn't wanna make her upset. He decided to kiss her cheek and give her a few of her puffs which distracted her
"Drive safe with my baby in ya stomach" Saint said through kalani window, she looked at him with the meanest mug
"Shut the fuck up saint"
"Mom it is 11:40 at night you did not have to come by!" Kalani moved out the way as her mom walked in, kalani called her & Saint mom while she was in the hospital and her mom dropped everything and made sure to see her grandbaby
"Yes I did! My baby is sick " she sat her giant bag down on the counter that was full of water and medicine and fruits and vegetables she even brought a blender by
"Oh mom please" kalani rolled her eyes at her mother's dramatics
"Don't worry I spoke with Lisa she will be here in the morning" Erin said pulling all her stuff out the bag, kalani couldn't help but smile. It really took a village to raise a baby and kalani had the best village to help her with Dakota
"Kalani are you sick as well?" She walked over feeling kalani forehead feeling it a bit warm, she walked over to her bag pulling out a thermometer, she gripped kalani jaw sticking the thermometer in her mouth
"There she is!" Erin smiled from ear to ear seeing Saint being Dakota down the steps, Dakota nose was red and her hair was all over the place
"Wassup ma" Saint handed Dakota off to Erin who gladly took her out of his arms
"My poor little muffin is sick, Saint take that out kalani mouth and see what it is" Saint laughed at kalani mug taking the thermometer out reading it
"99.5" he said masking kalani suck her teeth she knew her mother was about to do to much
"That's not bad but it's not good! Your daughter is gonna get you sick she probably got it from them kids at that play date!" Kalani rolled her eyes, she took Dakota on a play date a couple days ago and some kids was snotty her mom told her not to take her but Dakota needed friends her age
"Saint take her upstairs and make sure she's hydrated she needs to rest I will handle Dakota you need to prevent from getting sick! Bye kalani don't argue with me" Erin knew her daughter was stubborn so she cut her off before she could even say anything
"You heard her get upstairs " Saint told kalani who looked at the both of them and turned her body stomping up the steps like a child , in all honesty she felt fine she was just calming down from the panic attack she had earlier
"Can't lie you scared the shit outta me I ain't know what was going on. I should've stayed home" Saint said as he sat on the bed next to kalani who was laying on her back
"Don't do that Saint you was right behind me it didn't matter. She's fine we're fine. I'm sorry for scaring you papa"
"What I tell you about apologizing for shit that you ain't supposed to? You ain't mean to scare me you was just reacting. You good mama now relax before yo ass get sick before ya birthday " she nodded listening to him, her birthday was in a week and she did not want to get sick, she didn't have any plans because Saint said don't make any but if Dakota is still sick she isn't leaving the house at all
"You gon eat my ass for my birthday?" She spoke up after a few minutes of silence, he turned his head with a look of confusion
"Yeah" he said catching her off guard she was expecting him to say no
"You so nasty I knew you was an ass eater" she turned her body letting him lay on her stomach, she ran her hands through his hair while he grabbed the remote
"Do not put on them dumb ass tubi movies Saint" lately Saint has been obsessed with tubi movies but kalani hates them she hates the acting and the quality but it's something her man likes so she puts up with it.. sometimes
"I'm not" he lied he definitely was going to put one on until she said something to him, she looked down at his head thinking about how she was going to do his hair next , the door opened revealing Dakota and her mom
"She came to say goodnight she's had her medicine and she's sleepy!" Kalani smiled as Saint sat up, he took Dakota out Erin arms kissing her cheek he moved her towards kalani who gave her a kiss on the cheek as well
"I love you koko goodnight baby! Thank you mom" Saint handed Dakota back to Erin who shooed them off
"Oh please this is my baby I got her! I'm gonna sleep in her room and Lisa will be here in the morning! Goodnight " she rubbed Dakota back walking out the room, kalani turned to Saint with a smile
"I love our moms so much it's so great to have them" Saint agreed he appreciated every women in his life and couldn't be more greatful
"Give me a kiss" he said with a straight face making her laugh, he was always so aggressive with it
"Damn mf say it nicely" she shook her head leaning down only giving him a peck
"Lil ass kiss bro" he sucked his teeth laying down in his back on his side of the bed with an attitude
"I could be sick! Grow up Saint damn"
