Before we continue thought I'd just say this. Yeah in hindsight it was a stupid question, of course, you guys would want more it's a good thing I do have a good manga reading app so this won't be too hard I've honestly only read and caught up to 6 manga and most of them are connected so yeah I started this chapter in advance about an hour later from reading the votes already dropped thought I would save time unless there was a sudden change of majority opinion in which case this would've been a waste of time but if you're reading this than I guess that didn't happen so yeah that's good anyways I'm done rambling let's get into the garbage I write that you guys enjoy for some reason
Tanjiro: (It's been two days since the incident at the Swordsmith Village and though there were no casualties we've lost something great Brother hasn't spoken to me or anyone and lately he's been skipping our training so it's been on me to try and lift everyone's spirits though it seems impossible Zenitsu hadn't been able to say anything but "I'm sorry" to me Inosuke has spoken almost as little as Brother I try to leave food by his room every day but he never eats it I'm not sure if he's even slept or done anything to take care of himself I notified him that there would be a meeting between the Hashira in 5 days there was no response I knocked to let myself in his room was cleaned and he was gone I don't know where but all I can hope is that he's safe)
Meanwhile in a village far away a demon was on a rampage, though this demon in particular didn't care as much about getting stronger as it did tormenting humans
Demon: Heh it's so fun watching them run and hearing them scream I wonder how much fun I'll get from hearing them scream before I get bored and kill them none of them can escape my Blood Demon Art that creates barriers I've been cultivating this skill for a while to capture a village after I witness their panic then I'll slaughter every single one of them AHAHAHAAAA SUCH A LOVELY LOOK ON THEIR FACES THE LOOKS OF DESPAIR
Suddenly an ominous tune was heard as a figure in a cloak appeared from out of the fires that consumed the village
Demon: That sound, no it can't be
The demon's veins began to show as he sweated already knowing who it was the tune was repeated as a figure came out of the fire his veins and sweat only increased the more he looked at the source
Demon: NO NOT HIM
The demon wasted no time in fleeing the village he kept running but everywhere he looked he saw the figure glaring at him cloak on eyes aglow after running a good distance the demon stopped for a moment and checked his surroundings
Demon: . . . I guess I lost him
But as soon as he ran forward he ran into someone and fell to his knees he backed away on all fours as the one looking down on him removed his cloak
Demon: (The Storm Hashira)
The demon immediately put up a barrier around himself
Demon: IT'S NO USE THE BARRIER IS MADE TO RUST ANY SWORD IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH AND IT'S AS HARD AS DIAMOND ENFORCED TITANIUM YOU HAVE NO CHANCE OF BREAKING IT
Rimuro: . . . I'm interested in knowing where you got that idea
Swiftly Rimuro punched the barrier and his hand went straight through as if it was made out of thin glass
Demon: What
Rimuro: But I haven't the time
Rimuro then reached for the demon's neck and pulled him out of the barrier forcefully he then thrust his arm through the chest of this demon and pulled out most of his organs
Demon: GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
Rimuro: Huh that was pretty easy aren't you supposed to be strong
The demon began to regrow its innards and just when it seemed as if he had recovered from the shock Rimuro sliced off his arms which led to the demon screaming even louder as it tried to move its legs in hopes of escaping but to no avail
Demon: AAAAAAGHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Rimuro looked up at his work completely expressionless but enjoying it nonetheless he then cut off the demon's legs and chocked the demon completely draining it of blood once all signs of life were void from it he dropped the body in a pool of its blood before swiftly decapitating the demon
Rimuro: . . . I know you're watching . . . so how long will you stay up there ever so comfortably before doing something you cowards, since you're so afraid I'll give you all a final warning bring her back now and I'll make it quick, it's a merciful offer . . . fine then prepare yourself because it's only a matter of time before your suffering begins for all of you starting with you Muzan
Rimuro had been hunting demons independently without orders or rest, relentlessly, he even found some hiding in the daytime and his torturing of them has gotten even crueler demons fear him without even knowing him currently it was near daybreak and he was massacring several demons when one began sneaking up behind him in hopes of catching him off guard but as it jumped to attack him
Ciel: Nature Breathing Sixth Form: Dragon Flash
Ciel used a technique that performs a high-speed cut from a sheathed stance that charges to send out shockwaves that decapitate the demon
Ciel: It seems your time in isolation has done nothing to sharpen your senses
Rimuro: . . . I knew he was there I was just baiting him
Ciel: I'll take your word for it
Rimuro: Look I know why you came here and it's no use I'm not gonna bother claiming I'm ok but I'm not stopping though if you're gonna try and comfort me I won't stop you
Ciel: . . . I was actually just going to tell you the Hashira meeting is today in case you forgot but were you in that much desire for me to comfort you I'm flattered
Rimuro was red from embarrassment
Ciel: Though I was going to do that as well
Rimuro sighed as they both made their way to the Ubuyashiki Mansion
Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa: Aw I'm so jealous even when partnered up with Rimuro I still don't get to face any Upper Ranked Demons
Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku: HAHAHAHA I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL DON'T WORRY I'M SURE YOU'LL GET YOUR CHANCE
Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro: You can't control it though it does seem like Rimuro's always in the mix when they arrive (Which only increases my suspicions about him though it doesn't relate to his similarities with Ciel) Kanroji, Tokito, Tsugikuni how are you guys
Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji: We didn't really get hurt thank you for asking (Oh he's worried about me)
Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito: Me too . . . though the mission could've gone better
Sun Hashira Tanjiro Tsugikuni: The same is for me with Brother's planning we all made it out without too much damage
Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima: How fortunate we are that our ranks have only increased rather than diminished over these months and that ever since both you and your brother joined the Corps the amount of Humans slaughtered by Demons has thoroughly diminished
Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho: I've received fewer patients ever since you all joined so I suppose I should thank you for that
Flower Hashira Kanae Kocho: You both have come such a long way it seems like it was only yesterday since you all appeared to us I'm sure you must be proud am I right Tomioka
Water Hashira Giyuu Tomioka: . . . I didn't expect Rimuro to be this late
Sanemi: For once you have a point he's usually one of the first here guess I'll have to give him a hard time about it so he doesn't do it again

Tanjiro: I'm honestly more worried about Brother than myself, he hasn't eaten or slept as far as I know and he hasn't spoken a word to me I haven't seen him in a week I hope he shows
Shinobu: Come to think of it I haven't seen Ciel all morning either (Could my suspicions be right)
As if on cue the door opened but with it everyone was immediately put on guard as an aura so deadly entered they felt as if they'd all been stabbed they all looked at the source of such a monstrous malice
Storm Hashira Rimuro Tsugikuni: . . . Sorry I'm late
Nature Hashira Ciel Kocho: It doesn't seem as if the meeting has started so I would assume that we're fine
Tanjiro: Brother I'm glad you seem alright we were worried when you left where have you been
Rimuro: . . . Out
Rimuro sat down separate from everyone else as he did the door that Ubuyashiki emerged from opened
Amane: Thank you for waiting so long I am Amane Ubuyashiki and I will represent Kaguya Ubuyashiki at today's Hashira meeting due to Master Kaguya's worsening illness he is no longer able to appear before you he extends his heartfelt apology
All the Hashira faced Amane and bowed respectfully
Gyomei: Understood I pray from the bottom of my heart that the light of the Master's life continues to burn even one day longer and that Lady Amane's spirit remains strong
Amane: I am grateful to all the Hashira
She then explained that due to Nezuko's capture, it is likely a full-scale war will break out whether he's absorbed her or not with her in his capture he will get bolder she then brought up the Demon Slayer Marks and requested for Rimuro and Tanjiro to tell them everything they knew about it
Tanjiro: Well I may not be much help since I was born with it so I can't really tell the difference but I think that-
Rimuro: Tanjiro
Everyone looked at Rimuro
Rimuro: Not a word about the Mark
Tanjiro: Brother is it because of the curse you told me yourself Tamayo began the cure
Rimuro: We don't know if it works yet no words about it until we're sure and no sooner
The curse of the Demon Slayer Mark was able to be explained by Amane leaving the Hashira to themselves as Rimuro was about to leave Sanemi blocked his path
Sanemi: And just where do you think that you're going
Rimuro: . . . You should already know the answer to that
Rimuro was about to walk around him but Sanemi still blocked the way as he took a deep breath
Sanemi: If you wanna do that then fine but you still haven't told us how to get that Mark
Rimuro: . . . You're right and I don't plan on doing so yet
Sanemi: "YET"? DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP YOU THINK WE FOLLOW YOUR SCHEDULE
Rimuro: . . . Get out of the way
Sanemi: Oh don't worry I'll be out of your way but only once you've spilled the beans and no sooner it's not like there are many demons to kill anyway their activities have been lowered recently and you know it so it's not like you'll have anything better to do
Sanemi and Rimuro began glaring down each other
Mitsuri: Um I think we should stay calm
Rengoku: I agree with Mitsuri fighting amongst ourselves will solve nothing
Sanemi: Don't tell me that you look down on the rest of us, that you think you're more responsible, that it all falls to you, that we're all worthless
Kanae: Sanemi you're taking this too far
It seemed as if the attempts to diffuse the situation were unheard
Rimuro: . . . If you believe that much why don't you prove yourself wrong
An aura even more terrifying than before emerged from Rimuro most of the Hashira's survival instincts led to them unsheathing their weapons when it seemed tensions couldn't be higher a loud WHAP could be heard as Gyomei clapped his hands it got everyone's attention though Rimuro didn't react to it
Gyomei: We all understand what plagues your mind Rimuro but your actions will solve nothing
Rimuro: . . .
Gyomei: Sit let us continue talking I have a proposal
Rimuro: . . . Forgive me I acted out of turn I'd like to apologize though my silence will still stand but I promise it's temporary
Later at the Storm Mansion
Tanjiro: So that's what'll be going on Brother and I will be training you and multiple people to be stronger since there's a lot less demon activity now
Zenitsu: It sounds like a good idea in theory but have you seen the state Sensei is in I don't blame him but he was so light on our training ever since that day remember how he used to be
Tanjiro: Yeah he would always say awfully random things during training I remember

Zenitsu: Normally I wouldn't complain about that but at this rate, we'll never get stronger

Inosuke: I think I saw him on the roof

Tanjiro rushed to the roof where he found his brother staring into the distance

Tanjiro: I would ask how you're doing but I think I know the answer

Tanjiro: Brother please you know it wasn't your fault
Rimuro: Everyone keeps telling me that but it's hard to believe and regardless of that there's something that bothers me just as much
Tanjiro: What is it
Rimuro: Why Muzan hasn't made a move yet it makes no sense I'd have expected him to make his move by now what could he possibly be waiting for
Tanjiro: Now that you mention it the lack of demons at the moment does seem odd
Rimuro: It's this ominous silence from the demons despite having what they wanted I can only see bad omens coming from this Brother
Ultima sighed
What's got you so gloomy we're back in action and Chloe stopped chasing me
Ultima: I know but the more you're active the less that my Lord is here with me by default I've never had so much fun in my life than torturing alongside him not to mention the lack of that world's demons emerging means no more new toys even the most recently brought ones break too easily
. . . Well you could always brag to the other Black Numbers about it
Ultima: It's a secret that he's here remember
Oh yeah, well then I don't know what to tell you
Ultima: You sure you can't just leave again
Well I got some days off this week so I may write more sorry
Ultima sighed yet again
Well anyway it's time for a Taisho Era Secret Rimuro has broken 2 more records as a Demon Slayer the first was Most Kills of Demons the second was Most Feared by Demons at the moment all Demons know of him and fear him greatly some demons have even taken their own lives once becoming demons out of fear of ever encountering The Storm Hashira I don't even know why I even bothered asking if you guys wanted me to continue especially after such huge cliffhanger
