Time skip (1 year)
Layla's POV
I woke up today with a pain in my stomach. Great. I'm sick. I'll call Jonatan to let him know that I'll be out for some days
"Hello Layla. Is everything okay?" he asks
"Yeah, actually no. I'm sick." i said
"What are you feeling?"
"I feel a pain in my stomach and I keep throwing up" i explained
"I see, I'll make sure that one of the girls will come later to check on you. Stay in bed and take a basin with you. in case you want to vomit again." he says
"Okay, thanks Jonatan" I say and then hung up the call. Great, how am I always the one that gets sick? All I can do now is sleep. Thankfully I was in the living room with some food. So i could sleep at the sofa and watch some netflix.
Some time later, i was feeling weak. I couldn't get up or move my body. Each breath i was taking was hurting my body
I suddenly heard a door bell. Great. I couldn't get up so I tried to tell the person outside that there is a second key under the flower pots. I did it and the person came in. But i couldn't see who it was, because i was already asleep.
Pablo's POV
Me and the guys finished the training early. Alexia and Aitana stopped me and Pedri before leaving
"Guys, we have to stay a little longer here. Layla is sick" Aitana said
"Sick?!" I said loudly
"Yes, can you go check on her?" Alexia asked
"We will go don't worry" Pedri said and took his car keys out
As soon as we arrived i knocked the door but no answer
"Is she okay?" I ask Pedri, i was too worried
"Calm down. and stay quiet, i hear something" Pedri said
"U-under.. th-e.. flower p-pot"
"I found the second keys, let's go" he said and opened the door
I quickly run next to Layla, who was already asleep but i could say that she wasn't okay. She couldn't move or breath properly. So i picked her up with my hands and moved her to her bedroom. I helped her lay down and i put a wet towel on her forehead
"Princess, are you okay?" I asked Layla while holding her hand but of course no response
"Come on Pablo. Leave her here for a bit" Pedri said grabbing my shoulder
"You can go watch some TV downstairs, I'll stay and cuddle with her" i say
"That's what we do when we are like this" I added.
"Okay, call me if anything" He said and left the room.
I quickly changed my clothes into some pj i left at her house, in case i would stay here and went to hug her.
My beautiful Layla was so tired and distressed that she couldn't open her eyes
How did that happen? I don't know.
In the meantime i was giving her little kisses on her face to let her know I'm here.
It may be a little short story for you, and you may wonder how did we even got here? But it's actually 1 year later after that thing with Pedri and Layla happened.
If you're still asking, me and Layla are officially together. Not for too long tho. She agreed to be my girlfriend 4 months now.
I forgot to mention that 6 days ago Pedri took me at a club.. I drunk a lot and went with another girl. Layla found out and let's say that she called me names and stuff.. And we are not talking right now. But, I still love her and I'll still protect her no matter what I'll do, as for the 'cuddles' I know that they calm her down and make her feel better. Even tho she probably doesn't want me to touch her, I'm here for her.
Layla's POV
I was sleeping until I felt better and decided to get up and go to the bathroom
"Pablo?! What the fuck are you doing next to me?" I said pushing Pablo
"Oh.. uhm.. Aitana and Alexia told me and Pedri to come and see if your okay. I carried you here and I cuddled with you to make you feel okay. I remember that you told me they calm you down.." he said and quickly got up
"I don't need any help from you. Thanks" I said and tried to go to the bathroom
"You can't walk, let me help you" he said and came to hold me
"I said I DON'T need your help. Stop touching me!" I said and then Pedri entered the room
"Great you're awake. What's happening?"
He asked
"Pedri, Get Pablo out of the house" I said
"I will go to the toilet alone!" i added.
I know I was hard on him, but he broke my heart! I don't care anymore. And when i can walk, I'll go back to Greece. To visit my old teammates
Pedri's POV
"What happened Pablo?" I asked my best friend
"I want her back Pedrito. I can't handle being away from her" he said and his eyes started tearing up
"It's going to be okay.. Stay here, I'll talk to her okay?" I said and hugged him
"Yeah.." He said
Layla was sitting on her bed looking at an empty wall
"What are you doing?" I asked her
"Asking myself how i messed up with my life" she said and turned to look at me
"Did Pablo even explained what happened that day?" I asked her
"No. I didn't let him finish his words, I was hurt Pedri." she said and made that look. You know.. the one that says 'Ill kill you' ? yes, that one.
"Then.. you should talk Layla.. I know I wasn't a good friend back then, but Pablo looks like an miserable grandpa without you." My comment made her laugh.
"So? Is that a yes?" I asked her
"Fine.. Tell him to come." She said
