I saw Mama's car in the distance. I told Mandy bye
Something must have happened for mama to be picking me up from school, cause mommy usually picks me up
So I walked towards the vehicle mama unlock the door for me to get in. I took my place in the front seat mama where's mommy at Francesca says to her mama
Babe she had some errands to run so you got me instead
Stef said, mama started up the car and pulled out the parking space. Frankie turned on the radio while her mama begin driving, Stef kept her eyes on the road
Francesca was beginning to get anxious so many thoughts ran through her young mind. They pulled up to the pier
Stef turned off the car, Francesca l have some bad news to you Stef Stated. Mama l already know that grandpa passed away, he came to me in my dream and told he wasn't in anymore pain Francesca explains, Stef was in complete shock by what her daughter just revealed
Okay love did he say anything to you Stef inquired
He wanted me to tell you he was sorry for what happened when you came to visit and he's very proud of all your accomplishments Francesca replies. Why didn't come to me and tell me this himself, Stef questioned mama maybe you wouldn't have listened to him cause you were upset about what transpired after dinner Francesca spoke
Stef was taking it all end by what Frankie was saying
Did your grandpa say anything else Stef asks.
Grandpa wants to us to look after Grandma she's going to need our strength to get her this transition Francesca tells me, Stef felt her eyes welled up don't cry mama grandpa wants us to celebrate his life with no tears l know it hurts
That he's gone but everything is going alright Francesca unfastened her seat belt and hugged her Mama's neck
Stef continued to weep in her Francesca's arms, it's ok Mama Frankie continues to speak words of encouragement to her mama. After twenty minutes of crying, Stef wiped her eyes with some Kleenex tissue
She looks at herself in the rearview mirror and sees her eyes are all red and puffy, Francesca stares out the window not knowing what else to say she delivered the message like her grandpa asked her to. in deep down inside she was going to miss him dearly, he taught her how to play chess and other cool games. Francesca would cherish the memories she had with her grandfather forever,
