I found a good music that could maybe go well with Dazai pov, I hope you like it ^^

Dazai pov

Morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow across the room. I had been awake and dressed for a little while, my mind a whirlwind of thoughts as I contemplated the events of the previous day. I had extended an offer to (Y/N), a stranger with intriguing abilities and a past that held a shroud of mystery. I was well-versed in the art of deduction, and I couldn't help but wonder about the secrets she still held within her.

From the neighboring room, I heard a soft rustling, a sign that (Y/N) was stirring from slumber. My lips curved into a small smile, curiosity getting the best of me. I quietly made my way to the door, pushing it open with gentle care. The sight that met my eyes was a serene one—her form, bathed in the morning light, her features softened by sleep.

I found myself inexplicably drawn to her side. Kneeling in front of her bed, my voice was a hushed murmur as I spoke her name, testing the waters of her consciousness.

"(Y/N)-san."

There was a subtle shift in (Y/N)'s sleep, a faint murmur that indicated her response. My smile deepened, and a playful notion formed in my mind. I decided to employ one of my tactics—a nickname that carried an air of familiarity.

"My little squirrel," I murmured, my voice like a soft caress in the morning air.

This time, her reaction was more pronounced. (Y/N)'s brows furrowed, and a small, content smile graced her lips. I watched as her eyes fluttered open, revealing orbs that held a mixture of sleepiness and amusement.

"Mmm?" she mumbled, her voice laced with the remnants of slumber.

I couldn't help but feel a surge of amusement. Her state of half-awake vulnerability was a refreshing sight, and it seemed my tactic had succeeded.

"Time to rise and shine, my little squirrel !" I continued, with a playful voice.

Her gaze focused on me, a blend of confusion and warmth in her expression. I was well-versed in reading people, and I could see the mix of emotions that danced across her features.

"Squirrel?" (Y/N) echoed, her voice carrying a soft, drowsy tone.

My grin remained infectious as I nodded. "Yes, squirrel-chan !"

Suddenly, her sleepiness seemed to evaporate, replaced by a determined glint in her eyes and a little grin, "Oooh?"

And before I could react, she shot a quick glance at Looki, who was lounging near the bed. With a swift gesture, she pointed at me.

"Looki, jump!" she commanded.

In an instant, Looki bounded off his place, his eyes fixed on me with an intensity that only a determined dog could muster. He leaped with precision, aiming directly for me. My surprise was evident, and before I could react, Looki's paws landed squarely on my chest. The impact sent me staggering back, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the audacity of her move. Looki wagged his tail triumphantly, as if celebrating his successful ambush.

But the surprise wasn't over yet. As I regained my balance, a second presence caught my attention. I turned my head just in time to see Jumper—much smaller but no less eager—leap from the bed, his target clearly me.

"Jumper, no!" (Y/N)'s voice held a mix of laughter and panic.

However, her command came a tad too late. Jumper landed on my shoulder, his tiny claws gripping onto my coat for dear life. The combined weight of both Looki and Jumper had me momentarily off-balance, and I couldn't help but laugh at the unexpected assault.

"Alright, alright," I managed to say amidst my chuckles, "I surrender."

(Y/N)'s eyes sparkled with triumph. "Consider it payback for the nickname."

I chuckled, adopting a mockingly exasperated expression. "I suppose I walked right into that, didn't I ?"

She then began to pout a little. "Well, you did choose a name I didn't like in the first place, Dazai-san."

I responded enthusiastically, "Lesson learned."

As I regained my composure, I couldn't help but admire her spirit. She was certainly no ordinary individual, and I had a feeling that our time together would be anything but dull. Perhaps she could infuse the fun and happiness I had been seeking into my life.

Time skip - (Y/N) pov

After the amusing incident with Dazai's unconventional wake-up call, you quickly got ready for the day ahead. The thought of the upcoming adventures and mysteries fueled your excitement. As you stepped out of your room, you were greeted by the enticing aroma of breakfast. Dazai had prepared a simple yet satisfying meal, and the lively presence of Looki and Jumper only added to the cheerful atmosphere.

Breakfast turned into a leisurely affair, filled with laughter and camaraderie. Dazai's charm and wit made for entertaining conversation, while Looki's endearing antics and Jumper's curious chitters provided a constant source of amusement. It was a unique blend of company that you were growing accustomed to, and you found myself feeling more at ease with each passing moment.

With your stomachs content and your spirits lifted, you set out on your way to the agency. The streets of Yokohama were bustling with activity, and the air was thick with anticipation. As you walked, Dazai pointed out various landmarks and shared intriguing facts about the city. His insights painted a vivid picture of this world that had once been a mere fantasy in your mind.

Then, Dazai's voice broke your thoughts. "Ah, (Y/N), I forgot to tell you something." You then looked at him, "You need to know you are not yet a member of the agency."

Perplexed, you asked, "Ah? Why ?"

"To become a member of our agency, you'll have to pass a little test."

A hint of panic crept in as you questioned, "What will I have to do?"

Dazai waved off your worries with an air of confidence. "No need to fret. I'm sure you'll do well."

Doubt tinged your words. "I'm not so sure about that."

He grinned reassuringly. "You'll be fine, trust me."

You managed a grateful smile. "Okay, I will try."

"And you don't need to stress too much. Leave it to me, and everything will go smoothly. Why? Because I'm Dazai—the one and only that the agency trusts and people adore!"

His unshakeable confidence and the mysterious undertone of his statement left you both curious and slightly amused. A small chuckle escaped your lips before you could stop it. Yet, an odd sensation crept in—a sense of déjà vu that you couldn't quite place.

Walking beside him, your familiarity with Dazai from the anime clashed with a feeling that there was more to him than met the eye. With this world being real now, his true intentions were harder to gauge. His enigmatic aura held layers of mystery, making you wonder how much of what he said was genuine and how much was a playful act. Amidst the uncertainty, an undeniable charm emanated from him—a charm that piqued your curiosity about the agency's upcoming test.

As you mused over these thoughts, you glanced at Dazai, half-expecting to catch a mischievous glint in his eyes or a secretive smile. However, his expression remained casual, and he met your gaze with an air of nonchalance, as though he had revealed just enough to keep you intrigued.

"Curious, aren't you?" Dazai remarked, his voice carrying a playful note as he caught your glance. "But don't worry too much. The test will be a breeze, especially with me by your side."

As you walked, Dazai continued to share anecdotes and insights about Yokohama, his words painting a vivid picture of the bustling city and its inhabitants. The streets came alive with a vibrant energy, and you found yourself becoming more immersed in this world that had once existed solely within the confines of a screen.

With every step, the initial unease began to fade, replaced by a growing excitement.

Soon enough, the agency building came into view—a grand structure that exuded an air of both elegance and purpose. The sight stirred a mix of anticipation and nervousness within you, knowing that the test awaited. Yet, with Dazai's lighthearted presence beside you, you felt a newfound confidence, a belief that you could face whatever challenges lay ahead.

And so, with a mixture of curiosity and determination, you stepped through the doors, beginning to follow Dazai's lead toward the elevator.

"We don't climb the stairs?" you asked with a hint of curiosity.

"We will take the elevator this time. We're headed to the fourth floor, where the Armed Detective Agency is located. Personally, I'd rather not climb four flights of stairs!" Dazai responded with a playful grin.

The agency's interior was even more impressive up close, a fusion of modernity and elegance that seemed to embody the spirit of its members. As the doors of the elevator slid shut behind you, Dazai's hand reached out to push the button for the fourth floor.

The gentle hum of the elevator's ascent enveloped you in a moment of anticipation. Your thoughts were a whirlwind of excitement and uncertainty, the echoes of Dazai's words about the upcoming test ringing in your ears. You couldn't help but wonder what kind of challenge awaited you, and your curiosity only deepened as you glanced at Dazai.

His expression was calm, a flicker of amusement dancing in his eyes. "Don't let your imagination run too wild," he teased, as if sensing the mixture of emotions within you. "Remember, it's just a test—a way for us to get to know you better."

You offered him a tentative smile, appreciating his attempt to ease your nerves. "I'm ready for whatever comes my way."

As the elevator doors opened, you and Dazai stepped out, only to be greeted by a tense and unsettling atmosphere. Hushed and urgent voices echoed through the corridor, creating an atmosphere of tension and unease. The vibrant energy that had initially enveloped the agency was replaced by an unnerving stillness, a prelude to the imminent danger that loomed.

Just as you were about to take a step forward, a chilling voice cut through the air, demanding attention. "Listen up, Armed Detective Agency! I've taken two hostages, and unless your boss shows up in the next thirty minutes, this whole place is going down!"

Dazai's expression remained unreadable as he glanced around, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Stay close," he murmured, his voice a mix of caution and determination.

Navigating causiously through the corridor behind Dazai, you take the stairs to see an open door from where came from the voices and notice a figure against the wall you reconize immediatly-Kunikida.

As you moved forward, he noticed you two and made a discreet gesture for you and Dazai to approach.

You followed his lead, your steps deliberate and cautious, until you were close enough for him to speak without raising suspicion.

"We've got a situation," he began, his tone conveying the gravity of the matter. His eyes darted around, ensuring that no unwanted ears were listening in. "An intruder has breached the agency's security. They're demanding to see our boss and have made threats if their demand isn't met."

The weight of his words settled heavily in the air, and you exchanged a quick glance with Dazai, both of you acknowledging the severity of the threat at hand. The agency, its members, and the innocent hostages were in danger, and there was no room for hesitation.

Just as Kunikida finished his sentence, Dazai's voice interjected, a touch of irreverence coloring his words. "Yeah, as if we hadn't heard him making a scene."

Your lips twitched at Dazai's casual remark despite the seriousness of the situation while Kunikida showed an annoyed face, but his expression remained focused, his gaze shifting between you and Dazai as he continued to relay the situation. "The intruder is armed with what seems to be a bomb, and they've taken two of our members as hostages," he explained, his voice steady despite the underlying tension.

Dazai's casual demeanor shifted, his gaze sharpening as he absorbed the information. "And where are they holding the hostages?" he inquired, his tone now more serious.

Kunikida's eyes flickered with a mix of determination and concern. "They're inside, the perpetrator  sitting on Ranpo desk and the hostages sitting attached art his feets."

Your heart raced at the gravity of the situation, and you exchanged a quick glance with Dazai, both of you understanding the severity of the threat. The safety of the agency and its members was at stake, and it was clear that swift action was required.

"So? What's the plan?" you asked, your voice equally hushed as you awaited instructions. In the face of danger and uncertainty, you felt a surge of determination, ready to assist in whatever way you could to protect the agency and its members.

Kunikida and Dazai exchanged glances between each other.

"For now," Kunikida responded, "we need to enter inside and hide to acess more details about the situation", he then looked at his phone, "I will demand to one member to attract his attention, so at the signal, let's run behind the plants at the right."

"Okay" you responded with dazai.

"But wait, what is the signal ?", as you asked that, someone inside began to talk.

"Stop it ! What doing that will bring to you ?" the voice asked.

'Wait, I reconize this voice... is that Atsushi ?!', as you thought that, the perpetrator exclaimed, "It will bring to me your boss !"

As you think it was logical what he said, Kunikida started running inside followed by Dazai.

'That was the signal ?!' you thought, showing a baffled face. You then ran after them without loosing any second accompagned by Looki beside you and Jumper on your shoulder, and then notice in a short of time before hiding with them, the hooded perperator looking and pointing his remote control at Atsushi. He hadn't noticed yet, that you and your compagnons, Kunikida and Dazai where now hiding not far from him.

"Now return to your place !" he exlaimed.

You looked at Dazai sitting at your left and whispered to him "Dazai-san."

He looked at you.

"You told me that some members possessed abilities, so why Atsushi and the other couldn't use them on him ?"

"Ah that," he whispered back to you, "according to Kunikida, it's because he has the ability to pose bombs on people he touch, and so, if he wanted, he could explode the hostages with him before we could even reach him."

"That will be a little complicated...", you muttered.

"I agree with you." he responded while letting out a sigh.

"What is certain," Kunikida whispered at your right, "it's that he has a grudge against the agency, and the explosives he have beside him seem to be powerful explosives."

You looked at him with big eyes, "Seriously ?!" you whispered.

"He is right", said Dazai agreing with him, "If those where to explode, the whole floor will blow up."

"Couldn't you let him encounter your boss ?" you asked at a low voice.

"No ! "exclaimed Kunikida at a low voice, "If he must want to see him, it's obvious that he want to kill him ! And we're not going to bring him in just to please him!

"Yeah you're right..." you responded.

"Luckily, he wasn't there.." he said.

"So..." Dazai began to say in a serious tone, "there's only one way left."

Kunikida and Dazai then began to bend on arm in front of them, fist closed, and looked at each other seriously.

"What are you trying to do ?" you asked curiously, still at a low voice.

Then, they began to play Rock-paper-scissors, making you perplexed, and after 3 rounds, the winner was Dazai.

"You lost." He said in a mocking tone, "Go, go."

Then, Kunikida angrily stood up, and began to walk until he stop in front of the hooded perperator.

"What is he doing ?!" you whisper at Dazai.

"He lost, so today, it's his turn to do the work !" he whispered back happily.

You couldn't believe it. Letting out a sigh of exasperation, you then look a little up to see what Kunikida will do to stop the hooded man.
