The two women didn't even have time to really process what Thalia just said as right at that moment, the doorbell rang.

Thalia groaned, cursed some words in Spanish which made Alexia chuckle and the blonde stood up from the couch, straightening her clothes quickly before walking to the front door. When she swung the front door open, 3 faces were looking at her and smiling.

The blonde smiled back at them. "Buenos dias mi familia!" Margot was the first one who replied, slapping her twin on the arm, the only real difference between the two was that Thalia had quite some tattoos, ome being a whole sleeve on her right arm. "You know we don't speak Spanish." Thalia smiled innocently at her. "That's exactly the reason why I said that." Margot ruffled Thalia's hair, knowing that it would piss her off. "Are you going to let us in or not?" Thalia sighed deeply, opening the door wide. "It's not like I have much of a choice with you guys being here instead of Australia and America."

As the door opened wider, Margot. Tom and Sarie walked inside of Thalia and Alexia's home, carrying their luggage with them. Thalia shut the front door and walked inside after her family. Alexia was in the process of standing up to welcome the family inside, but one warning glare from Thalia quickly made her lay back down.

Thalia hugged Margot, Tom and Sarie, offering them chairs to sit in, bringing chairs into the living room. Afterwards she walked into the kitchen and for the first time, she just saw how much paella the older Spanish woman was making and Thalia gasped.

"You knew about this."

Eli turned to her daughter-in-law with a big smile on her face, hugging her since she hadn't seen the younger blonde yet.

"Oh yes I did. I even organized this." The older woman looked very proud of herself as Thalia sighed, rubbing her face. "You should have warned me, I would have fixed my house." The older woman looked at the Australian with a stern look. "And that's exactly why I didn't. Dios mio Thalia. Te amo, but you need to rest too. You're worried. Let yourself be worried and let us all help the two of you out."

Thalia smiled instantly at the Spanish woman her words and hugged her tightly while thanking her. She then disappeared through the door again to let Eli make her heavenly Paella for everyone.

The doorbell rang and Thalia opened the door to let a smiling Alba and a very excited Nala in.

Thalia shared a hug with Alexia's sister and the younger girl put the dog down, who immediately barked and ran to the living room where lively chatter was residing from. "How are you doing Alba?" The younger Spanish girl smiled. "I'm doing good. How about yourself? You were totally out for the count."

Thalia laughed and playfully smacked the younger girl on the back of her head while they walked to the living room. "Well, apparently your mother arranged an entire family meeting because my mom, sister and her husband are here too."

Alba laughed at her mother's antics. "Yeah, that sounds like something that she would do."

When the pair entered the living room, the sight of everything made Thalia smile softly. Her family was sitting around her wife, deep in conversation about something while Nala cuddled up to her mom. Smiles were on all their faces.

It were moments like these that brought Thalia such inner joy. She was proud of what she had accomplished and she loved her family and her wife. She loved her wife's family. She loved everything about it. The way that the Robbie and Putellas Segura families had become one.

She was proud of her wife. The way that the athlete was so shy yet so bold at times. It made the therapist feel weak in the knees. Her dedication to really go for what she wanted and she would do anything to get that. The way she looked when she won her Ballon D'or, which had become a very proud trophy perched in the trophy vitrine. The way that she had become an icon in Barca and in Spain, maybe even around the world, a lot of kids looking up to her. And yet, at the end of the day, the athlete would always completely relax in only her arms.

The blonde's eyes shifted over to look at her sister.

Words couldn't even express how proud she was of her. When they were younger, Margot had always been the one who was excited to get every little bit of stage that she could. A real drama queen at times, and no matter how much that had annoyed Thalia at times, her sister had done it. Despite the hardships that they had when they were younger, the few minutes younger sister had done it and was now a worldwide known actress with a lot coming to her. She and Tom had gotten married back in 2016 and were still very happy together.

She looked at her mom. God. What a woman. The divorce with her now ex-husband had been very hard for her, but knowing that she had 2 little daughters at home who looked up to her, gave her the strength that she had needed. When Margot and Thalia's father turned out to be a homophobic douchebag who even refused to acknowledge his daughter, Thalia could always run to her supportive mother, who would, once again, always be there for her.

Thalia got snapped out of her thoughts when she heard her name. She blinked at then looked at her wife, who was looking at her. "Are you okay querida? You've been standing there for a while... just staring." The blonde smiled gently and nodded her head. God, Alexia was sexy when she spoke Spanish. "Si. I was just.. thinking." Sometimes the Australian lost track of whether she was really Australian or just Spanish. The blonde therapist joined the happy chatter and sat down besides her strong athlete wife. She put her hand on the athlete's toned good upper leg and the athlete rested her head on the blonde's shoulder. She was tired.

The therapist gently squeezed the athlete's leg and talked with her family. "So, Tom and Marge, do you guys have any new projects you guys are working on?" Margot and Tom immediately smiled at that question, a sparkle showed in their eyes. They loved their work. Tom was the one who answered the question after making eye contact with his wife. "No." Thalia raised an eyebrow. "Liar." Tom's eyes slightly grew as he looked at the other blonde, surprised by how confidently she had said that.

Thalia locked eyes with Margot and pointed at her with her free hand. "You better tell me before the end of your visit." Margot just smiled and shrugged. Thalia tilted her head slightly. "Wait, for how long will you all stay here?" Sarie smiled at her daughter. "I will stay for a month, or until you get tired of me and Margot and Tom are able to stay a week."

Thalia nodded her head. She had missed her family. A lot. It had been a few months that they all had seen each other. "Well, I'm glad that you are all here."

The door from the living room to the kitchen opened and a very proud Eli stood there, her hands on her hips. "The Paella's done!" This made everyone smile as everyone smelled the delicious Paella. Thalia was surprised when her wife didn't move from her spot at the mention of the done paella, knowing that Alexia absolutely loved her mom's paella.

When Thalia looked down at her wife, all questions were answered.

Alexia had fallen asleep on her shoulder, a look of peace on her face. Her chest rose and went back down in a calm manner. Thalia mentioned to the others to already go to the dinner table to eat.

The others happily went to go to the dinner table to dig into the paella. When they were gone from the living room, the blonde softly kissed Alexia on top of her head, the hand that had been squeezing her thigh, slowly started to rub up and down the athlete's thigh.

"Alexia, my love, wake up."

Luckily Alexia wasn't that much of a deep sleeper and her hazel eyes slowly fluttered open, looking at her wife. She lifted her head and rubbed her eyes. "What's going on?" Thalia chuckled at the adorableness of her wife and gently kissed her lips. "Your mom's paella is done."

This made Alexia herself up. "I love her paella!" She grabbed her crutches and stood up from the couch, hobbling over to the dinner table and sat down with everyone. The therapist following her. "Thank you so much for all of this Eli." The older woman smiled at Thalia. "It's no problem at all."

Dinner was amazing. Eli's paella was heavenly as always. They all made short conversations during dinner, Margot being the one that gave chicken to Nala underneath the table and everyone thanked Eli for the amazing meal. After dinner, Thalia grabbed all the plates and started to clean everything up while the others were directed back into the living room. Just as she was cleaning the big pan that Eli had used to make the paella, she felt two strong arms wrap around her waist, soft lips against her neck. "You should be on the couch Alexia." Alexia smiled against her wife's neck. "Maybe, but I just wanted to make sure that you feel aprreciated. Even if my knee isn't good right now, I can still thank you later tonight for everything that you always do for me."

Thalia's pupils dilated and she got weak in the knees, holding herself upright on the kitchen counter. Alexia knew what she was doing and placed some more lingering butterfly kisses on her wife's neck, who was now covered in goosebumps, a shiver running along her spine. With a quick movement, the therapist turned around and lifted Alexia's butt up on the kitchen island, placing herself between the athlete's legs. Their lips soon met in a hungry and desirable kiss. Thalia's hands roaming the sides of Alexia's toned body until she suddenly stopped all movement, bringing her mouth closer to Alexia's ear. "You're injured, I think you better let me take care of you."

The way that Thalia had said that in a low and sedictive voice. Alexia felt a familiar feeling rise in the pit of her stomach, her pupils dilated, her panties getting wet as her breath hitched in her throat.

The girl was too stunned to speak.

Thalia knew what her words could do to the queen of football and moved back with a knowing smirk on her face.

Then Eli walked into the kitchen and Thalia immediately smiled at the older Spanish woman, finishing up the dishes. "Hi Eli, what can I do for you?" Eli was smiling while Thalia played pretend and did as if nothing had just happened, Alexia on the other hand still hadn't found her words, a blush was spread along her cheeks as she went back to being shy.

Eli looked between her daughter and her stunning wife and shook her head. "I don't even want to know what just happened in here." Thalia looked innocent. Too innocent. "What did you want to tell us anyways?" Thalia was quick to change the subject, playing it all off. "Oh! I came to say that Alba and I will be taking our leave. Don't worry, Alba and Morgot just went on a stroll to take Nala out and Sarie is fixing the guest bedrooms together with Tom."

Thalia smiled, once again being very thankful for the Spanish woman and her own family.

She suddenly felt how tired she was. She hugged the older woman and helped Alexia off of the kitchen island. They went to the living room where they both said goodbye to Alba and Eli. When the two members of the family left, Thalia locked the front door and told Alexia to already get ready for bed while she would fix the rest. Alexia nodded her head and left while Thalia stayed up a little bit longer to help her own family settle in their house. When she was done, she went into the bathroom to get ready for bed, excited for this moment with her wife. Thalia slipped into the bedroom, locking the door behind her, but when she looked up in the room where the lights were still on, she saw a totally passed out Alexia, snoring softly. Thalia smiled and turned the lights off before cuddling into her wife's arms to fall asleep.
