Y/n's POV
After that day at the police station, my paranoia of someone following me constantly slowly disappeared. I still get those terrifying nightmares but the boys help me overcome them.
Now, Jake and Heeseung took me to the park so I could watch the sunset and they could play basketball at the old basketball court where Jake played with his friends when he was younger. Others were coming too but later.
As we were walking I already saw the basketball court. It didn't look old at all. From the corner of my eye, I could see how Jake was jumping from excitement to play there again. I smiled at how cute he was.
A few minutes later we were in the court. I sat down on one of the benches next to the court. Heeseung and Jake started playing and laughing. They were having fun. I took my phone out and went on Weverse. I saw that Niki had just posted a new photo and wrote "Final stop ㅋㅋ".
In the photo, he and the other boys were in some kind of shop. It looked like a jewelry shop, but I didn't really understand where he was. As I scrolled through the comment section under Niki's post I saw a few of the fans commenting things like "Niki, are you really single? You seem to have someone", and "When will you tell us who your girlfriend is??????????????", one of them said, "Are you buying something to your girl?? (I mean Y/n, I think that she's your girlfriend for real)".
I wanted to read more of the comments but Sunoo texted me:
Y/n, you like rose gold, right?
Yeah
Why?
I just saw a cute friendship necklace and thought maybe I should buy them
But now
I just saw the cutest friendship bracelets and I'm for sure buying them for us
THEY HAVE A PANDA AND A SMOLLLLLLLL STARRRRRRR!!!

I looked up from my phone to Heeseung with Jake. They were playing and still laughing every time one of them missed or bumped shoulders when one of them made a goal. Heeseung then signaled for me to come. I shook my head because I didn't know how to play, I didn't want them to waste their time on me.
Heeseung looked at Jake then and Jake sighed. Seconds later both of them were running to me and I got ready to run away but Heeseung caught me by my waist. Jake somehow managed to get me onto his back and then he walked to the court. Heeseung gave me the ball.
"Throw it into the hoop. We gonna help you." Heeseung said and smiled at me. Jake walked closer to the hoop but not close enough for me to be confident that I'd make the goal.
"Just do it Y/n. I know you can do it." I heard Jake saying. I looked at the hoop and then just threw the ball. I hugged Jake's neck while watching the ball fly to the hoop and inside it. Heeseung caught the ball from beneath the hoop.
"See! We told you can do it!" Heeseung smiled brightly as he saw that I was happy. I got off of Jake's back and stood text to both of them.
"The others should be here in a few minutes. Let's play a bit more and then they'll be here we can go get food and watch the sunset." Jake said as Heeseung and I agreed. Both, Jake and Heeseung didn't let me leave and tried to keep me busy so I wouldn't be sad.
Twenty minutes passed and I saw Sunghoon with Jay walking in our direction. Finally. It was not like I was unhappy playing basketball with Heeseung and Jake, I was just happy that I'd finally get food. Soon, I saw Jungwon, Niki, and Sunoo walking a bit further behind Jay and Sunghoon.
I threw the ball into the hoop for the last time and to my surprise, the ball actually made it into the hoop. I smiled and then ran to hug Jay and Sunghoon. Typical me I guess. They hugged me back.
When Jungwon, Niki, and Sunoo came to us we all agreed to get food. We all were starving. I got my bag from the bench that I was sitting on before Heeseung and Jake dragged me to play with them.
As I picked my things up, I felt someone behind me. As I turned around I saw 6 foot guy.
"Give these to me." He said as he reached for my bag from my hand. He bent down almost half of his height to reach my bag and now his face was super duper close to mine. It was Niki.
"Well... Will you give me your bag?" He asked with a smirk on his face as he saw that I was blushing a bit. "Or will I need to take it myself?" His eyes were looking deeply into mine as he leaned closer and closer with each passing second.
I didn't need to wait for long until I felt his lips on mine. I felt myself melting into the kiss. But to my "luck" the kiss didn't last long. Niki grabbed my bag while he kissed me and then broke the kiss. I missed his lips the moment he pulled away. Niki then straightened up and was back to his 6-foot-tall self.
"Let's go. Jake told me that you're starving. I can't let my girl starve, can I?" He said and grabbed one of my hands with his free one. Niki was smiling the whole time, from the moment I saw him walking with Jungwon and Sunoo, the smile didn't leave his lips. I LOVE his smile. I LOVE HIM.
I was silent the whole time and just held Niki's hand softly as he did the same. We then walked to the rest of the boys and left to get food. Jake, being our guide this whole trip, dragged us to some kind of cafe.
I liked the cafe, and not just because I was sitting next to Niki and he was holding my hand the whole time, but also because it had a cozy vibe inside and there weren't lots of people. Inside the cafe, there were four more people besides us eight. A middle-aged woman drinking tea and she also had a lemon pie on her table. On the other side of the cafe, there were two elders. They looked like old lovers who never broke the marriage vows. I smiled while looking at them talking and smiling at each other.
Niki noticed me looking at them and squeezed my hand a bit to get my attention. I turned my head from the couple and looked at Niki. He had a nervous eyes. I could tell. But they were really deep inside, he was hiding it and he was doing a great job. He started talking then.
"You... want to go watch the sunset while the food is gonna be done...?" His voice was soft and calm but I still could hear a bit of nervousness in it. I nodded my head and then the two of us got up and walked out of the cafe.
Niki took my hand once again when we were outside. Other boys didn't say anything to us, just "okay" when Niki said that we were going to watch the sunset. I did see Sunoo and Heeseung share a smirk while looking at me and Niki and then at each other. At this point, I'm not surprised by them looking at me and Niki like that.
Now, Niki and I were sitting on the other side of the park and I could see the sea. It was a beautiful place and I loved the view of the sun slowly going down. As I was enjoying the view, Niki suddenly got up and walked forward, he stopped when he was a few steps away from me. I also got up.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Y/n..." Niki said softly. He was more nervous this time. "I want to ask you something..." He said and finally turned around to face me. I only now noticed that he had a little box in his hand. The box looked like it was from that jewelry shop that Niki posted on Weverse today. Niki then walked closer to me and looked deeply into my eyes.
"This is a promise neckless..." He opened the little box. Inside there was a beautiful rose gold necklace with two hearts locked together, no way to separate them. I looked from the necklace to Niki.
"I... I want to promise you that one day... I will... Marrie you... If you say yes to me... If you say yes to me I will forever be with you and will never let you go. No one will separate us like no one can separate these two hearts..." Niki went silent for a moment and then continued. "Now... Will you accept my promise...?" He had worry, nervousness, confidence, and love in his eyes. I smiled at him.
"Yes, I accept your promise..." I said while nodding. Niki's smile became so bright that I thought he became a psycho or something. Just kidding. I loved his smile. Niki took the necklace out of the box and put it on my neck. He then hugged me tightly.
"I will be by your side forever. I will protect you forever. I will make you happy forever. I'm gonna love you forever and ever. Until I die and even after that... I love you Y/n..."
"I love you too Niki... More than I love anything else in this world..."

I didn't, and neither did he, but here we are, loving each other and promising to stay together forever...
