After some days While they were walking the gang came near a sign which says
Vermilion city
"After two weeks of traveling." Brock stated
"We're finally here." Glissle said while smiling
During those two weeks, Ash had trained his pokemon hard and five of them evolved. One Eevee evolved into umbreon and another one evolved into espeon and his sandshrew evolved into sandshalsh.
Right now, they've finally arrived in vermilion city.
"Now I can finally take a nice hot bath and sleep in a real bed!" Glislle said
"And I can finally do laundry." Brock said
"Let's go get some food and rest for our pokemon and us. " Ash decided when he noticed how exhausted pikachu was.
So the group heads towards the pokemon center.

"We'll fix them right up," Nurse Joy said kindly as she took the tray that contained Ash's pokeball Brock staring at Joy Blankly while Ash sighed and leaned on the counter.
"I know why you're surprised." Nurse Joy smiled when noticing their stares."I look like other nurses, don't I? My first cousin works at pweter city and my second cousin works in viridian city. I think I'm prettiest one, don't you?"She said with that same kind, gentle smile and giggle all Nurse Joys wore and used. Ash,Misty and Glissle just blinked at her while Brock agreed.
"Yeah." Brock easily agreed with a smile and blush, whatever else he was planning to say intrrupted by the center doors opening and a boy's shout.
"Hurry!" The boy cried, calling attention to the rolling cot with a severly hurt Rattata on it."You'll be okay, rattata."The boy mumured soundinv on the verge of tears as the chansey rushed the cart through the lobby."Hurry!"
"The Rattata is in rough shape. " Brock noted, face serious."I wonder what happend."
Nurse Joy stood then, hands on hips in disapproval. "Oh! It's fifteenth one bought in this month!" She frowned
"This month?!" Ash repated, deep seated disapproval of his own settling in his chest as Nurse Joy wordlessly led them to a room full of occopied beds holding various injured pokemon.
"This is terrible." Brock said.
"Thsy all lost to Lt. Surge, the vermilion city gym leader." Nurse Joy informed, upset.
Ash looked at all of the trainers with their injured pokemon with pity. He couldn't understand why L.t. Surge had to be so much brutal to all these pokemon. He knew you didn't need so badly the opponent's weaker pokemon if you were experienced and knew your pokemon well, two things a gym leader of all things should be. Ash did not like how this Lt. Surge was so readily destroying his weaker opponents, especially considering most of them are young and inexperienced. As he was thinking that he suddenly spotted a girl. He suddenly said,"Yellow."he yelled
The girl turned to his directions and said,"Ash. "With a desbelif look in her eyes. As they come close to each other and hug each other. After thwir hugging ends the gang asked for explanation. And he explained yelloe is his best friend and while they were talking yellow suddenly confesed to Ash that She like him and Ash explained he already has girlfriends and yellow looked sad for a moment but when he explained about the harem and she immediately joined it. Misty and Glissle welcomed her in the harem. Suddenly to everyone shock yellow kissed Ash and Ash kissed her back. After they end the kiss both were blushing hevaily. After they ended it the other two girls asked for one as well as he kissed bothe them. They heared a sound.
A ding sound was heared which means the pokemon are healed.
" oh? That signal means your other pokemon have recoverd."Nurse Joy happily led the trio out into lobby where Ash's pokeballs were waiting on a tray with a content pikachu sitting by them, finishing a small apple.
"Hey pikachu!" Ash cried getting and enthusiastic reply back as pikachu leap into his waiting arms. "Glad you're back to 100%! " Ash said
"So what pokemon are you going to use against surge?" Brock asked
"I think I know the perfect one." Ash said
He took his pokeballs and placed them back on his belth. He said,"pikachu will you fight LT. Surge."
Before pikachu could say anythinv, he was interruped as a hospital cot wheeled passed them.
"Please hurry!" The boy trainer cried as he ran along the cot holding his injured pidgy. "Just hold on, pidgy!"
Ash frowaned as the kid was younger and far more inexperienced if he went to an electric-type gym with a flying type pokemon. However, that did not execuse the gym leader from brutally defating the boy.
Pikachu looked at the pidgey's trainer with sadness and horror. They didn't think that a gym leader would be so crule to such a small pokemon. Pikachu made a desicison at that moment. Ash notiched pikachu's expression and determination.
"I think it's past time someone took this surge down a peg or two, don't you think, pikachu?" Ash Orogi"Pikachu(he is going down." Pikachu said
Ash and his friends heads towards the vermilion gym.

Arceus said,"Mew it's time you join the choosen one."
"Yes father." Mew said
Flashback (10 years ago)
Arceus said,"Today my choosen one has born in this world and you have to join him in future to destroy the evil."
"Who is the choosen one?" Dialga asked
Arceus showed them the photo of Ash and he explained what he will do in future.
"Ok he is the choosen. But what evil is there." HO-ho asked
Arceus just said,"Shadow Arceus."
Present time(flashback ends)
Mew said, "I will join him today only father."
"Okay Mew." Arceus said

As they are walking towards the gym Brock, Misty and yelloe spotted a very nice concert and they went there saying to Ash they will go to the gym after the concert. Ash and Glissel started to talk while they are talking the spotted something in the bush.
Glissle asked Ash,"Ash what's there."
"Let's check. "
As Ash checked there he found the a pink cat like pokemon. Ash imeadtly took out his pokedesk it says:
[Mew a pshycic type mythical pokemon. It is not known to evolve into or from any other pokemon. Mew can learn every move which any pokemon knows except which are specific to some pokemon]

Gissle and Ash was shocked it was the Mythical pokemon Mew.
"Hello choosen one." Mew said
"What do you mean by that?" Ash asked clearly confuse
Mew explained him about choosen one, Arceus and his duty's. He was shocked to know them and he and Glissle decided to keep it secret from everyone.
After the conversation Ash asked,"So that doesn't explain what are you doing here?"
Mew explained,"Well one day or another you have to capture all the legandry & Mythical pokemon. So I am the first. And I really want you to catch me I am not forced to be caught by you by father"
Ash and Glissle was shocked again but after getting out of shock he captured Mew with the help of a ultra ball. After catching it in a gap of few minutes his friends came back and he and Glissle kept it a secret as promised to eachother and they headed towards the Vermilion gym.

The group stood outside the building that was the Vermilion city gym. It looked like a wearhouse with yellow lightening bolt all over it.

"So, this is the Vermillion city gym." Ash said
"Kind of gaudy isn't it? " Glissle said
Then the door creaked open iminously to greeting darkness and two adults dressed in punk rocks and exercise clothes, male and female respectivly.
"Yo, I'm here for a pokemon battle." Ash greeted casually"yoy know, to earn a thunder badge?"
The leather jacket wearing pubk only smirked and looked behind, arms crossed."Hey boss!Another victim for the emergency room."He announced
As shadow figure walked up between the two in a deeper, more gravelly tone"which one?"He asked as his heavy footfalls thunderd against the floor.
Ash thought that such an entrance would have unnerve a lot of kid especially when they got a good look at how large and musceld the man was. They were probally only used to dealing with kids their own age or a bit older and none as intimadating looking as this guy. Of course, Ash himshelf didn't react.
"Whoah! He's huge!" Brock helpfully observed
"Is he the gym leader you have to beat?" Glissle asked
Both Glissle and Brock leaned back when the man speard his arms out wide, towering over the four of them.
"Welcome to Vermillion gym!" He greeted
Ash scoffed,"You're the gym leader right?"
"That's right. I'm Lt. Surge."Lt. Surge announced

" so you are the challanger let's the battle and end it as soon as possibel."Lt. Surge said
Lt. Surge noticed the pikchu standing beside him.
"Do you think that unevolved pikachu can defat me." Lt. Surge said
"Let's start the battle at the end we will know." Ash said
"Okay." Lt. Surge said while laughing

The lights flickering on to illuminate the filed, the refree's voice echoing in the metallice, high celling room.
"The pokemon battle will now begin. Only one pokemon may ne used. The gym leader, Lt. Surge has chosen Raichu. The chalanger, Ash ketchum, has chosen pikachu. No time limit. Let the battle begin."
"Go Raichu!" Lt. Surge shouted

Quick attack pikachu!" Ash called.
"Give it a thunder punch, Raichu!" Surge smirked
"Agilituy then thunder!" Pikachu easily dodged the punch, attackinv at Raichu's now vulnerable back. And hit also cutted Raichu's hp to half.
"What the---." Surge said in shock
"The problem with evolving a pokemon too early is losing basic support moves that enhance things like speed." Ash said
"It don't matter! Raichu, Body slam!" Surge said
"Double team around him, pikachu." Ash said
Pikachu dodged Raichu's attack.
"Pikachu, thunderbolt use full powerful." Ash said
With the powerful move hitting Raichu directly he was knocked out immediately.
"Unbelievable!" Surge said in shock
"You did it, pikachu!" Ash said
"Good Job pikachu." The others said
"Pika -chu!" pikachu smiled at the complements.

"Congratulation." Surge said an shook Ash's hand."Nice job Ash, pikachu! As proof of your victory, a thunder badge!"He presend him the thunderbadge
"You should be proud! You and your pikachu really fight good together." Surge complemented
"Thank you very much!" Ash said, grining widely at the glittering pin, "Awsome, pikachu! We've got a thunder badge!" Ash said doing his victory pose
"Nice victory, Ash!" Surge sasaid
"Congratulation, Ash!" Brock said
"Already three badges!" Glissle said
"It's thank to you, pikachu!" Ash said
"Pikachu(Thahnk you guys)!" Pikachu said
"They're quite a team." Yellow ssaid
"Yes, indeed." Brock said
After it they all went out of the gym and went towards the pokemon center.
While they were walking yellow said," Ash can I travle with you"
"Of cousre."Ash said
