🐀you two don't like eachother at all but you noticed that he doesn't bully you like he like he bullies other people, he still does though, just not as much because secretly, hes scared you'll fight back when rlly he's the one that likes to be in power and he knows you're insanely good at self defence so he holds back.
🐀 you're also one of the only ones that actually dares to talk back to him when he's being a dick
🐀as of now, neither of you are aware that the other is alive/uninfected
🐀you are excellent at fighting off the zombies because you took self defence classes since you were eleven
"y/n-ah, behind you!" your best friend, Hayeon yelled as you had just managed to fight off a zombie.
There were five of you in this corridor, trying to fight off the zombies that were there and you weren't losing, but it definitely was a challenge.
"Ilseong-ah, pass me that umbrella!" one of the guys who was with you, Byeongho yelled to his best friend, Ilseong.
"Where the fuck are all these zombies coming from?! They spawning in or what?" Ilseong yelled.
"Will you shut the fuck up for once in your life and just try not to get bitten!" you yelled back at him.
"Yah you two argue later, right now just focus on not getting bit by these motherfuckers!" Bonhwa, Hayeon's older brother who was a senior (and also the only senior among the five of you), yelled.
After you finally managed to fight of the never-ending apocalypse of zombies, you got into an empty classroom. Or so you thought.
"Jesus Christ, that was fucking hard. I'm surprised we even made it." Ilseong complained.
"Yah, what did you even do? We would've done perfectly fine without you, you smartass. You're saying that like you actually tried." you told him. You never really liked this kid anyway, he talks way too much and he's so irritating, he likes annoying you for no apparent reason.
"'What did I do?' More like what didn't I do? Did you see me get bit, huh? Huh?!" he came close to your face and you tried to fight back but Hayeon held you back.
"We've managed to keep ourselves alive for the past four days, we can't risk it all now with these childish arguments!" Byeongho said.
"Stop that." you hear an unknown voice from farther in the room. You know it definitely wasn't any of you so you get a little startled.
You couldn't believe your eyes when you saw Yoon Gwinam walk into the light. He was covered in blood and his left eye was gauged out completely.
"There's no way." you say and harshly get out of Hayeon's grip.
"Yoon Gwinam? How the fuck are you still here?" you ask him. The others all stepped back slowly while Bonhwa was just standing there confused.
"I could ask you the same question, Kwon y/n."
You remained silent. He had a sinister look on his face and you didn't like it but you didn't really care at the same time 'cause you knew that he wouldn't try fight even if he looked like it.
"Are you guys not hungry?" Gwinam asked, leaving you all confused.
"I am, so what?" you alone answered back.
"I'm famished" he looked up at you with flames in his eyes "I would run now if I were you."
"How can we run when there's countless zombies out there, huh?!" Ilseong bravely chatted back, deciding to step up.
'This little shit' you thought to yourself.
"You guys go, I'll catch up after I deal with this asshole." you said to your friends sternly after rolling your eyes at Ilseong's stupid comment.
"No, y/n, I'm not leaving you!" Hayeon refused.
"Hayeon, trust me, just go. Do you trust me?" you asked her and got a nod in response "then go."
"Be safe y/n-ah!" Bonhwa yelled as the four of them exited the classroom and ran off.
"I told you to run didn't I?" Gwinam said after the others left.
"It's not like you're gonna do anyth-" you got interrupted by him grabbing your shoulders and harshly slamming you against the wall.
"Is that so?" he asked, but then you grabbed his arms and twisted one of his wrists. You then grabbed a long metal rod next to you and slammed it against his face with all your power.
To your astonishment, it was almost like he didn't feel a thing because he looked back at you slowly and said "you little bitch. You're gonna regret that!" and pinned you to the floor.
'Holy shit, why is he so goddamn strong all of a sudden?!' you thought to yourself. This low-key made you panic as you were struggling to get him off of you.
"Beg for your life, you bitch, beg for it!" he shouted in your face through gritted teeth. You remained in silence, the only thing being heard were your grunts from trying to get Gwinam off of you.
You were really struggling to get him off now and the panic started to show.
"I suppose this is payback for when you broke my arm!" he said.
"I didn't break your arm, I pushed you and if you hadn't of extended your arm out you wouldn't of broken it!" you said through gritted teeth.
"You bitch! All along you've been stronger than me and truthfully, I actually admired you but I never tried anything on you after that because of how skilled you were! But now it's me that's in power, not you, me! So, any last words, Kwon y/n?" he said to you.
All you said was "you're gonna wish you never said that" and kicked him in the balls after you actually managed to gain your strength a little which finally got him off of you.
You got back up on your feet and it took him a while to do the same. Once he did he looked at you with sheer hatred in his eyes and he came for you again and you tried to push him back, but again, he was much stronger than you.
'What is happening?! WHAT'S HAPPENED TO ME?!' you thought to yourself.
"You should've listened to me. You're so motherfucking lucky I hate you and admire you at the same goddamn time!" was the last thing he said before sinking his teeth into your arm. You hissed in pain. In that moment, all your strength left you and you were left shrinking to the floor, clutching your arm.
"Fuck you Gwinam, go fuck yourself! You've been a dipshit your whole life and now your just taking advantage of it by.. somehow- being stronger than me! Give it up already, won't you realise! You're a fucking perpetrator who's overtaken by greed!" after saying those words, you stormed back out into the corridor and carelessly shoved all the zombies out your way to search for your friends.
"That fucker's gonna regret that." you said to yourself while speed-walking and pushing the zombies out the way at the same time "who does this kid think he is, a zombie? He bit me that's fucking pathetic, if he's somehow magically that strong now he might aswell do something that's worth all that bullshit that comes out of his mouth." you told yourself.
You searched for what felt like an hour until you finally found your friends in an empty chemistry classroom on the fourth floor. You were surprised by how long it took you but you were also proud. You'd completely forgot about how Gwinam bit you as you were too focused on getting back to your friends.
"y/n!" Hayeon sprinted to you, throwing herself in your arms "are you okay, you weren't bitten were you?!" she asked worriedly.
You didn't respond, you only kicked the desk that was by the door out of pure frustration.
"That son of a bitch Gwinam bit me! And for some goddamn reason I was struggling under his grip when he tackled me to the floor!" I grumbled.
"Wait but Gwinam's still human isn't he?" Byeongho questioned.
"At this point, I don't even know." you responded.
All of them got shocked at your words because they all know you've beaten Gwinam before.
"How?" Hayeon questioned.
"I don't know. I have no fucking idea." you said.
"How is he stronger than me all of a sudden?!" you questioned, kicking the desk once again and resting your hands on it, dropping your head and shutting your eyes.
"You deserved it." you heard the most obnoxious voice say from the other side of the room. You slowly looked at him from the side, flames building up in your eyes as you said "say that again, I dare you."
"You heard me. You deserved it." Ilseong played with you once again. This got you to walk towards him rapidly, so ready to punch him and knock all his teeth out at once, but Bonhwa held you back.
"Let me go!"
"y/n, don't do it, it's not worth it!" you heard Bonhwa say but you simply ignored it.
"So you're telling me you'd be all fine without me? You specifically? Can you count all the times I've had to peel the zombies off you 'cause you were being a little pussy and didn't dare fight back! I don't need your bullshit after what just happened with that other dipshit!" you yelled at Ilseong, struggling to get out of Bonhwa's grip. Finally you actually managed it by digging your nails into his skin so it would sting him and make him let go, so you grabbed Ilseong's collars and slammed him against the window. You did feel sorry for doing that to Bonhwa but your anger took over you.
"Take that back or you'll regret it, believe me! You'vr seen me fight, I don't think you'd want to get into one with me because you're being insanely brave by saying that shit to my face!" you shouted at him.
"You wouldn't dare do anything anyway because there's only five of us left, you yourself said you didn't want to lose any of us because we're already low on people!" he shouted back.
As your response to what he'd just said, you threw him against a fallen desk and proved him wrong.
Anything to prove him wrong, just to make him come to his senses and shut up before he says something he's gonna regret.
"y/n! Are you crazy?" Byeongho came towards you and harshly pushed you.
"Yah, dont get involved, do you want me to do the same to you, huh?" you threatened him.
"Enough!" Bonhwa yelled, making everyone go silent.
"This won't solve anything if you all just keep arguing!" he said.
"But she's being a stubborn little bitch!" Ilseong yelled.
"What did you just call me?!"
"y/n, stop for God's sake!" Hayeon said, holding you back. You heard her voice crack as she said that and that made you calm down just a little because the last thing you wanted to do was to make your best friend hurt or upset.
"I said enough Ilseong! Grow up you two or I'll just leave you here and let you do it all by yourself! Aish, kids these days, God!" Bonhwa yelled, clearly getting agitated by the fighting, muttering the last sentence.
"Guys, are you sure you trust her? How do you know she's not lying and she really was bitten by a zombie?" Ilseong asked, being paranoid about it.
"Don't you think she would've turned by now if it was a zombie that bit her? Get your shit together Ilseong, c'mon!" Hayeon yelled at him.
"But look, her eyes are literally red and her skin is paler than snow!" Ilseong said in defence.
"Oh my God y/n, you really are." Bonhwa said.
"What do you mean? I feel fine though." y/n said.
"She's lying!" Ilseong said, pointing at you.
"Will you shut your mouth!" you snapped at him, making him flinch.
"y/n, are you sure it was Gwinam that bit you and not a zombie?" Byeongho asked you.
"Yes, I'm sure! Why would I lie to you guys?! Gwinam was standing there infront of me, he grabbed my arm and bit me! And Hayeon's right, don't you think I would've turned by now if a zombie bit me?!"
"..okay fair enough." Byeongho said as your skin and eyes starting strangely fading back to normal.
"What? Byeongho, man. I thought you were my mate, c'mon." Ilseong said to his friend.
"I am, but she's right, she would've turned by now, so I believe her. Now stop being paranoid."
Ilseong just clicked his tongue and looked away.
"Yeah see, it's going back to normal now." Hayeon said.
"Yeah but you can't tell me it was from nothing!" Ilseong said.
"We don't know Ilseong, but for now we know that she's not a zombie. She's not attacking us, her nose isn't bleeding and she doesn't smell like a rotting corpse." Bonhwa said and grabbed my hand "her hands also aren't cold. When my friend Yangjin turned, his hands were as cold as ice. So y/n's all good, you can calm down Ilseong. If you don't then I might throw you against a desk too if you complain about one more goddamn thing." Bonhwa said, giving him the warning look.
"Okay we need to think of something guys because we can't stay in here forever." I said to the four of them.
We all sat down and you could see all the cogs in our brains working, even Ilseong's. Surprising, I know.
