(Y/N) pov

In the stillness of the night, you found yourself in a place where time seemed suspended, a disorienting blend of reality and your deepest fears. The surroundings were a murky haze, shrouded in a surreal mist that distorted shapes and sounds around you.

A sense of foreboding washed over you as you walked through the dense fog, your footsteps echoing eerily with each step. You felt small and vulnerable, like a lost soul wandering through the labyrinth of your own mind.

As you ventured further, the muffled cries and distant voices grew louder, drawing you toward an unsettling source. The fog began to thin, revealing a cold, sterile corridor. Harsh fluorescent lights flickered overhead, casting eerie shadows that danced along the pale walls.

The long corridor led you to a heavy, steel door, its surface marred by countless scratches and dents, evidence of futile attempts at escape. Trembling, you pushed the door open, revealing a dimly lit room filled with ominous machines and scientific instruments.

In the center of the room, a medical table stood like a grotesque altar. Straps attached a trembling little girl, immobilized, bound in a sterile white gown. As you approached her to see more clearly, shock struck you. The little girl on the table was the same as the one you dreamed of back then, and there was another thing. She was the spitting image of you. Then, memories of pain, fear, and helplessness surged within you, threatening to overwhelm your senses. All seemed to scream to you that the little girl was, in fact, you. But you couldn't believe it. How could it be possible? You didn't remember having a memory of that, but this dream was like telling you the contrary.

Surrounding her were shadowy figures, their faces obscured, their hushed conversations indecipherable. Panic surged as a sharp pain radiated from your arm, but as you looked at it, there was nothing. However, as you looked up, you saw a needle piercing the skin of the girl.

And then, a figure emerged from the shadows—a scientist in a white lab coat, face obscured by the darkness. You could only see the glint of their eyes, cold and devoid of empathy. They approached the table, their gloved hands reaching out, and in a certain sense, you knew what was coming. You tried to reach in panic for the scientist's hands to stop him, but all you could do was pass through him, only able to observe the scene occurring in front of you.

As you screamed toward him to stop, it didn't seem to reach him, as he approached the little girl.

"No, please," she pleaded, her voice choked with terror. "I can't go through this again."

The scientist leaned in closer, a smile on his face, their voice dripping with indifference. "You seem to be a valuable subject, my dear. So today, we'll unlock the secrets of your power, no matter the cost."

You continued to scream toward them as you saw the scientists beginning their work, oblivious to your silent pleas. Tubes and wires connected the girl to machines that blinked and beeped in a discordant symphony of suffering. You could feel your strength draining away, your consciousness fading like a dying ember.

And then, with a jolt, you awoke, drenched in cold sweat, your heart pounding in your chest. You gasped for breath, grateful that it was just a dream. You looked around you and saw it was still night. You took a big breath, calming yourself, and headed toward the kitchen to take a cup of water.

'This dream... it seemed so real... was it really me? But, it couldn't be, could it?'

You shook your head, trying to dispel the lingering sense of dread from the nightmare. It had felt far too real, as if you had been transported back to a time you'd rather forget.

As you sipped on the cool water, you couldn't help but wonder about the meaning behind these recurring dreams. They were like fragments of a puzzle, pieces of a past you couldn't quite piece together. The sensations, the fear, the helplessness—they all felt too vivid to be mere products of your imagination.

With a heavy sigh, you returned to your room, the weight of the dream still hanging over you. Sleep seemed elusive now, and as you lay in bed, you couldn't help but feel that the night held more secrets than you could ever imagine.

~Time skip~

The morning came, and you hear the slight sound of Looki's barking in front of the door.

"Not now Looki..." you say while yawning, turning over against the wall.

Strangely, you were more exausted than yesterday and were having as well a headache, making you even more sleepy.

'Is it because I overused my abilities last night, or because of that nightmare?'

You sigh. '- I will think about that later... just a few more minutes of sleep...'

"Wouaf! Wouaf! Wouaf !"

"CAN'T YOU STOP BARKING FOR A SECOND PLEASE?! I'M TRYING TO GET BACK THE SLEEP I LOST YESTERDAY!"

He continue to bark without stopping, you decide to finally turn again at the opposing side, making you roll over out of the bed.

"Boum !", You fell.

"Ouch...okay, okay, I will come I will take you for a walk. Just two minutes..." you say.

You get up from the floor while rubbing your back that was still hurt by the little fall, and go to your clothes.

You put them on quickly, and go to Looki that were still barking at the door. You then notice that he was not only just barking but also growling, meaning there was a potential danger. You tense up.

You decide to open the door to see someone you reconize immediatly.

Dazai.

He was happily smiling at you, waving his hand. You also notice Atsushi beside him, who were giving you an awkward smile.

"Hi little squirrel ! Did I miss you ?" Dazai say happily.

'Shit ' You think very loudly.

"No, not at all." you say calmly as you close violently the door.

He block it as it is about to close with his foot.

"Don't be like that squirrel-chan ! We just wan't to talk with you that is all !" he reply joyfully.

"I'm not your "squirrel-chan ! I have a name you know !" you exclaim as you try harder to push the door.

"Ah ? And so what could be your name ?" still smiling, trying to push the door.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N) (L/N) !" you exclaim as you put more force against it.

" What a cute name (Y/N), I'm Dazai Osamu, beside me is Nakajima Atsushi. Now that we've made the introductions, could we talk peacefully?"

"In your dream !" you speak out.

You give a big kick on Dazai's foot.

"Ouch, that hurt you know (Y/N)" he say as he retract his foot.

Taking advantage of the moment, you close the door, grab Looki who were still growling at the door, and ruch to your window in your chamber you had left open last night and jump on its borders as Dazai and Atsushi bursted inside, seeing you at the window.

You smiled and waved at them as Dazai did to you.

"Bye Bye !" you say as you let yourself fall outside.

They rush to your window and look down right at you falling.

During your fall you activate your ability :

"'Promordial Convergence' : 'Jumper'"

A luminous light-brown circle appear quickly below you, summoning a Deinonychus (a raptor with feathers that is very agile and very good at landing from high places) below you in landing position

He look like that :

"'Mystic synthesis'" The ability glow in a blue light around your summon and let appear a saddle on it.

You manage to land on Jumper succefully and prepare for the landing.

Third person pov

As you were falling and using your ability, Dazai exclaimed :" Aaahah, She managed to surprise me even more with her abilities again, is she not afraid of death?"

He begin to smile

"But too bad, I had anticipaded this. Atsushi ! Send the signal to Kunikida !"

"Yes !" says Atsushi as he give the signal.

A tall and slim young man wearing glasses with deep green-grey eyes was waiting for something on a car, at the entrance of the hotel you were in, a notebook at his hand with a cover where were wrote the word 'Ideal' on it. He had bangs parting to the right, looking rather neat, but with spiky golden-blond hair that ends in a long ponytail. He was wearing a beige vest over a black long-sleeved dress shirt, a red ribbon tied into a bow around the collar with beige pants accompagned by a pair of plain brown shoes .

As he was thinking you were going to run out by the entrance, he receives a message on his phone. It was a signal for him to do his part.

He take a look at it and see :

___

Atsushi :

'Above you Kunikida-san ! '

___

He looked above and began to see you.

"AH ?! What is she doing ?! Does she have a death wish, falling like that from the seconde floor ?! And wait, what is this creature she is on ?!"

He comes back to his sense

"I will see that later, now is not the moment to think about that ! My planning is already full like that, and I don't want to waste any more time on this !" he says as he get ready to welcome you down there, using his ability.

"The Matchless Poet"!

An anaesthetic gun then appear at the place of one of the page of his notebook, pointing now at you.

____

(Y/N) pov

As you prepared to land, you see a blond man wearing glasses pointing a gun at you.

"Is that Kunikida ?!" you exclaim

By curiosity, you look up from where you fell and see Dazai leaning against your window, waving at you with a smile while saying something. You read on his lips :

'cou...ra...ge'

"Courage ?! That son of angel ! He had it all planned !"

You let out a sigh, "Not surprising, that he let me go so peacefully yesterday !"

You see again below you. Now you were at 2 meters of the ground. Kunikida fired at you. Luckily, it missed. After that, you were finally on the ground.

Without looosing any seconds, you sprint (still on Jumper with Looki in front of you) where Kunikida was, avoiding the shots he continued to fire at you as you jumped above him, continuing your way.

It was still difficult for you to summon another summon because not like before, this wasn't the place nor the time of the day to be noticed. Moreover, you didn't have enough place to summon again without taking the risk to hurt any passerby, and even more, you didn't have any idea at the moment of what you could summon but you continued to think of a plan.

As you continue to run, trying to avoid to bump into the passers-by or jumping above them, searching for a way to escape, you reconize a voice behind you.

"(Y/N)!! Where are you running to my little squirrel ?" says the joyfull voice.

"Seriously ?! Don't you ever give up ?!" you reply.

Dazai was leaning on the window in the front sit of the car driven by Kunikida, grinning at you.

"Not this time ! And you should look in front of you !" he says

You look in front and see Atsushi running at you, full speed in his mid tiger form

You then notice up ahead at the right, an entrance of an alley. You speed up.

Atsushi were now almost near you and begin to jump at you, prepared to catch you.

"I got --!"

You turn around quickly, slapping him on the head with jumper's tail, making him stop in his jump and fall as you turn toward the alley and enter it.

"I did right in choosing you Jumper !" you say while happily patting him as you sink in the alley.

The car where was Dazai and Kunikida stop as they see you enter the alley.

____

Third person pov

"Ah shit ! She entered an alley !" exclaim Kunikida

"I will shase after her, Kunikida, you know what to do." Dazai says calmly, as he gets out of the car and start running at the alley. He enter it followed by Atsushi who regained his sense.

"No need to remind me." reply Kunikida annoyed as he also gets ou of the car.

____

(Y/N)pov

As you raced through the narrow alley, your heart pounded with a mix of fear and adrenaline. The sound of your own breath and footsteps of Jumper echoed in your ears. You were determined to escape Dazai and Atsushi, who were relentlessly chasing you. The concrete walls on either side seemed to close in, making you feel trapped.

You glanced over your shoulder to see Dazai and Atsushi hot on your trail. Their determination and persistence were undeniable. As you turned the corner, you knew you needed a plan—fast.

Darting through a maze-like network of alleys, you quickly scanned your surroundings. Ahead, you spotted 3 wall-mounted ventilation units on a wall, disposed as a stairway diagonally, leading up to a building's rooftop. They were very high and had a great distance between them, but it seemed not impossible to you.

Without hesitation, you sprinted and jumped towards the first wall-mounted ventilation. You didn't have time to think and you needed to rely on any possiblity possible in this moment.

Thanks to Jumper agility, jumping on them one by one was easy, making you reach the rooftop just in time. You sighed, evacuating the stress you had, thinking you could have not make it and patted again Jumper.

"Thanks Jumper."

He replied happily.

You then looked down at Dazai and Atsushi as they arrived at the base of the wall. Their expressions showed a mix of frustration and amusement.

"Well, (Y/N), you certainly know how to keep things interesting," Dazai called up to you, a playful grin on his face.

Ignoring his comment, you surveyed your new vantage point. The rooftop offered a clear view of the area, allowing you to see beyond the maze of alleyways. You took a deep breath, feeling a sense of momentary relief. But you knew you couldn't stay there for long.

You use your summon ability :

"'Promordial Convergence': 'Flash."

A bright light appeared as you're used to but nothing appeared.

"..."

"'Promordial Convergence': 'Flash'!" You exclaim again, but nothing appen.

'What the fuck is happening ? Why does my ability doesn't work ? I'm still on Jumper and it worked perfectly back then and last night !'

Then you receive in your head, in the same way when you arrived in this world, new informations, like an update, making you an headache and close your eyes one second. When you reoppened them, you where in a white space.

"Where I'am ?", you start looking around, seeing nothing but white, noticing Looki and Jumper were not with you.

As you observed where you where you hear a voice talking : "Error in summoning, the user cannot summon the same beings that he already used."

'What ?! Why didn't I know of that ? And wait. Who are you ?"you ask suspisously, still trying to wrap your head around the situation.

"I'm Elyndor. Your ability in charge of managing your other abilities. To respond to your question, the informations about your abilities were true. However, due to an error that occured at your arrival in this world, your abilities were modified after you had received them along with their explanations and informations."

"But how did you appear and why didn't have any information about you ?"you ask puzzled.

"I am connected to the essence of the 'Primordial Convergence.' I exist to guide and ensure the proper use of your summoning abilities since you overused it the night you came in this world."

A mixture of frustration and confusion welled up within you. "So, you're telling me that I've been thrown into this world with these abilities, and now I have a babysitter for them?"

Elyndor's voice remained patient. "Think of me as a guardian rather than a babysitter. The 'Primordial Convergence' is a powerful force, and without proper understanding, it can have unintended consequences. My role is to help you navigate and harness its potential."

You crossed your arms, feeling a bit resentful. "And why wasn't any of this explained to me before? I had to find out the hard way."

"Knowledge must be earned, (Y/N)," Elyndor replied. "As you grow accustomed to your abilities, you gradually gain insights into their nature and limitations. It is a journey of discovery."

"Yeah, well, I could have done without the surprise limitations," you grumbled.

"I understand your frustration," Elyndor said soothingly. "But know that you now possess the opportunity to learn and master your abilities more effectively."

You sighed, realizing that arguing with Elyndor wouldn't change the situation. "Fine. So, what do I do now?"

"(Y/N), you possess a rare and remarkable ability", Elyndor reply. "With your unique power, you can restore balance to the energies of this world and mend the fractures that have formed over time."

"Restore balance?" you questioned, intrigued by the concept.

"Yes," Elyndor affirmed. "The fabric of reality has been disturbed by the convergence of dimensions, causing disturbances and anomalies. Making you come in this world so that your summoning and healing abilities can act as a mending force, repairing these disruptions and restoring harmony."

You considered the idea, "So, I could be like a cosmic healer? I could save this world where Dazai live ?"

"Precisely," Elyndor confirmed. "By connecting with the energies of different dimensions, you can mend the rifts and heal the wounds that have resulted from the convergence. Your actions could bring stability to this world and prevent further chaos."

"Sounds... complicated," you muttered.

"It requires practice and dedication," Elyndor agreed. "But it is worth it, considering you live now in this world."

"But where and how will I find thoses rifts ? And how will I use my abilities to connect with the energies of the different dimension?" you questionned.

"..."

Elyndor stayed silent.

"You don't know ? Seriously ?", you exaspered

"All I can say is for you to seek out for the same energy you felt when you first arrived here, in this world," Elyndor suggested. "You can also be sure of one thing : it's that it's in the city of Yokahama, currently the city where you are. And by using your abilities to channel healing energies, you can mend these disturbances and restore the natural order."

"Very useful...but wait. Could the dimensional energies come from objects in this city, like a link ?"

"Precisely," Elyndor responded.

"Fine, I will do that !" you exclaim, "After all, I live now in this world, and I don't want it to disappear with my favourite characters.", '-And Dazai ' you think

"Trust is a valuable currency here," Elyndor warned. "Some may see you as a weapon, while others may offer you genuine support. Choose your allies wisely."

You glanced back at the memory of Dazai and Atsushi chasing you. "Yeah, I got that memo."

"Very well," Elyndor said. "Remember, (Y/N), this world is not without its challenges. Your abilities have drawn the attention of various factions, and caution is advised."

You nodded, taking in the advice. "Got it. Find the places with the dimensional energies more turbulent, find each object that emit the energies within each different places, use my abilities on an object once I find one and channel the healing energies in this world, and being cautious about who to trust."

"Precisely, do you have any more question ?" Elyndor ask

"Yes, is there a way to recover the summons I already used ?"

"To recover the summons you already used," Elyndor explain, "you will have to succed in channeling healing energies in this world. One channel recovered allow you to have 2 summons you desire again, but they will be definitive choices, and you will have moreover a limit of 11 definitive summons, so decide well before choosing."

"Okay anything else ?", you reply

Elyndor paused 2 seconds.

"You need to know that the being named Looki, is considered as one of your definitive summon as the result of the error it caused."

You stop one second, "Wait, so you're telling me the error that caused all that...-was my dog ?!" you exclaim

"Precisely, normally the being named Looki should have been going to the paradise of dogs but he refused to go and escaped the route that were going to it, and ended up by your side."

"Wow, what a cool dog, causing as much trouble as when he was alive...", you say baffled by the information.

"I will let you now return to where you were. Oh, and one more advice for you."Elyndor says.

"Mmm?"you respond.

"Keep in mind, using your abilities improperly can lead to consequences as unpredictable as trying to dance the tango with a penguin. It might seem amusing at first, but you'll likely end up with a lot of waddling and very little coordination," Elyndor's voice adds before disappearing.

"What ?!" you exclaim. You were back at were you was. You check the alley where you came from and see Dazai and Atsushi looking at you from below.

Dazai chuckled, leaning against the building's wall. "You can't hide up there forever, you know. But I must say, I admire your resourcefulness."

You remained silent. Based on this situation, it seem that you were back at the moment you tried to summon Flash, and now, you had your mind racing as you considered your options. You needed a distraction—a way to create some distance between you and your pursuers so that you could reflect a little more about what had happened to you.

Just then, an idea struck you. Without hesitation, you focused your thoughts and whispered, "'Promordial Convergence': 'Zephyr'."

In a flash of light, a creature appeared on the rooftop beside you. It was a small and colorful bird, fluttering its wings and chirping energetically. You grinned as you realized your plan should work.

Dazai's eyebrows raised in surprise as he glanced at the bird. "Well, well, (Y/N), you continue to amaze me."

While Dazai and Atsushi's attention was momentarily diverted by the bird, you saw your opportunity. With a determined look, you whispered a command to the bird: "Distract them."

The bird took flight, its colorful feathers catching the sunlight as it darted around Dazai and Atsushi. Their eyes followed the bird's movements, giving you the chance to slip away unnoticed.

As you made your escape, you couldn't help but smile at your small victory. You had managed to outwit them, at least for the time being.
