Celeste wasnt too fond of adjustments. Nothing like this at least. She was a honest woman most of the time. She knew nothing much about Chris and Xents money scheme, but it all unfolded as she sat in the seat of a police officers questioning room. They took Chris and her both in for questioning. The two sat in different rooms. Celeste really wanted to turn him in. But she knew it wasnt the right time. She had to get him in his weakest condition. And right now Chris was in anything but a weak condition. He was healthy and powerful.

"First and last name?" The officer asked typing onto a computer.

"Celeste Vernan."

"Date of birth?"

"September 16th 1991." She replied getting comfortable in her seat. This could take awhile.

On the other hand, Chris wasnt making a good impression with his questions.

"I didnt kill anyone so Im not even sure why my yellow ass is in here officer." Chris said sucking his teeth.

"Sir. Please cooperate. Where were you on May 5th at approximately 7 pm?" He asked.

"Getting head from my bitch in St. Tropez." He replied bluntly.

"Where were you on May 4th at approximately 12 am?" He asked.

"Look officer, I dont remember. Mind you its damn near the end of May. You may as well just ask me what were my first words as a baby, cause let me tell you nigga. I dont remember."

"Alright last question about locations, where were you on May 6th?"

"Still in St. Tropez." Chris sighed heavily at all these questions. They were making him overwhelmed.

"Alright. Do you know the man in this picture?" The officer said holding up a image of Xent. His senior picture at that.

"I do." He nodded.

"Who is he to you Christopher?"

"Its Brown. To you sir. And that is my blood cousin."

"Ill address you how ever I wish to do so. Is your relationship strong with Xent?" He said placing the photo down. Chris had to be smarter than the officers. If he lacked little information on Xent towards them, they wouldn't suspect the two would be doing illegal crimes.

"No, we don't associate unless there are special occasions." He lied.

"Special occasions such as?"

"Birthdays or holidays."

"Alright. Your free, you don't really match the suspects. Besides, your not as short as the witnesses claimed. Have a nice night." The officer said to him. Chris stood up, fastening his belt a little tighter, then walked out of the office and sat in the lobby waiting for Celeste.

"Where were you on May 5th at approximately 7pm?" The officer asked her.

"In St. Tropez."

"Alright, do you know this man?" She asked showing Celeste the same picture of Xent as they did to Chris.

"I do."

"Whats your relationship with him?" She asked placing the photo down.

"I barely know him, he's my b-boyfriends cousin." She stammered. She didn't know what to label Chris.

"Alright. Is your relationship healthy with Christopher? You are aware he was charged with a domestic violence offense back in 2010 against his fiancé."

Celeste knew nothing about this part of his past. She knew he had killed her, but as far as her death went. She knew he didn't turn himself in, because he would be in jail right about now.

"N-no I wasn't um, aware of that. Thank you." Celeste said biting her lip.

"Okay ma'am. Your done for the night, goodbye." She said. Celeste threw her sweater on and exited the office, watching Chris head out to the car. Reaching the car door, she opened it up and got in, then buckled her seat belt as he did the same. The two were quite exhausted from the day, so as soon as they reached the bedroom they fell asleep silently.

Awakening from the bright morning sun, Celeste yawned quietly and turned to face Chris. Only his side of the bed was neatly made up. Turning to her other side she shrieked loudly as Chris sat on the small hammock staring at her.

"You can't do that!" She yelled tossing a pillow at him as he caught it then tossed it back to her.

"I can too. Did I scare you? I didn't even say anything and I scared you." He smirked standing up to stretch.

"Hell yeah you did! Please don't watch me sleep anymore, besides its a little creepy. Don't you think?"

"That depends on your definition of creepy beautiful." He replied.

"You watching me sleep is creepy Chris." She said rolling over onto her stomach.

His hand reached into the drawer next to her and he pulled out some smoke. She never really enjoyed the smell of weed, but as of the moment she didn't mind much.

"Im going over to Jarelles for awhile. Behave while I'm gone." He said as he let his blunt dangle from his mouth.

"Who says Im staying in the house all day?" She asked.

"So what? You want to work? I can have you working at the bar. You know not everyone at the club gets special treatment like you do." He said rummaging through his closet.

"I need to get my hair done, its a mess." She grumbled.

"I need a hair cut, my nigga Viper aint buzzed me in a minute." He said as he exited the closet and looked at his hair in the full body sized mirror.

"Dont cut your hair, its fine." She replied getting out of bed to stretch her body as it was still a bit sore.

"Nah Im getting it cut. Im out, see you later babe." He slipped on his Nike Windbreaker then headed out the room. Chris wasnt going over Jarelles. Well not now, he had some other things to do.

However Celeste wasnt staying in bed all day, she wanted to meet up with Tiaré for lunch at her place. The two didnt discuss anymore about the relationship. Celeste was tired of discussing it with her.

"Hey Tiaré! Missed you." Celeste cooed hugging her friend as they went over to the bar to sit.

"Yeah I missed you, its almost like that nigga you dating has been holding you captive from the world. But anyways, hows it going?" She asked making Celeste a little irritated. Although Chris did lock her up for a while.

"Ive been great. I don't really work anymore. But thats fine."

"Seriously I been quit." Tiaré said nonchalantly.

"What? Why the hell did you quit?" Celeste exclaimed at her friend, staring at her like she had five heads.

"Im going to school, to do something with my life. Ive saved up money for all my expenses since last year. And I'm just going to get a student loan." She smiled at Celeste. Celeste was a little upset. She wished she could stop dancing, she'd been doing it since such a young age. You eventually don't have that same feeling and actually wanna be someone in life. She kind of envied her best friends desires to go to college.

"Thats great, Im happy for you." Celeste cooed reaching for her martini.

"Right? And Im going for nursing. Ive always wanted to do that doctor type of stuff, you know?"

"Yeah, I guess." Celeste replied pulling out her phone to check the time.

"Gotta be somewhere? He has you on a time schedule don't he?" She chuckled.

"I actually don't find that funny T. And no, I need to get my hair done for your information." Celeste said a little rudely towards her. Which Tiaré found rude.

"So he decides on how you wear your hair? Just like Kim and Kanye? Pathetic." She laughed.

"No he doesn't. Maybe you should mind your business Tiaré." Celeste said finishing off her martini then standing up to leave.

"So your leaving? How mature." Tiaré called after Celeste as she watched her exit the bar.

Celeste was blown. How could her best friend try to humiliate her relationship, when she doesn't know a damn thing. All she knows is that Chris has rules for her, nothing else. She doesn't know the half of it. Shit, Celeste barely knows. Something else she needs to do is figure out why his family is super fucked up. Because having sex with your sister is right down nasty.

Stepping out the bathroom he walked back into her bedroom and sat himself down as she crawled next to him.

"Look I aint come here for all that cuddle shit, lovey dove shit, none of that Cy." He said facing her.

"Oh, you don't wanna just, you know one more time?"

"No. I only did that to hurt Celeste's feelings. I wish I didn't though." He said hanging his head low.

"Oh. Well, maybe another time." She suggested.

"We will never have sex ever again Cy. Ma probably turned over in her damn grave."

"Hey, what am I missing?" Jarelle asked walking in the bedroom suddenly.

"Nothing. Considering she's my sister. This is her house and I can come in any house as long as I pay for it?" Chris said standing up from the bed.

"Excuse me nigga." Jarelle said dramatically. Chris still didn't like that Jarelle was the father. Jarelle wasn't any better of a man than Chris was but, he didn't want his sister dating a 30 year old man.

"Yeah, Im leaving. Ill talk to you later sis." He said leaving the room. Jogging down the stairs he carefully examined Jarelles phone on the table. Without caring if he saw him, he put in his password. Jarelle didn't suspect anyone knew it, but it was just Cyrillés name. Looking through his messages he was talking to multiple other females. Some were even saying he was the father of their baby. Chris frowned at the immaturity Jarrelle had. Placing the phone into the small fish tank on the table, he watched it sink to the bottom then headed out the house. Getting into his car, he then sped over to the barber shop. Just to hear some nigga gossip was all. He was a little behind on everything since he had been seeing Celeste.

The two bells chimed as Chris entered the shop and removed his gold chains and waited for them to greet him.

"Hey my nigga Chris! You been gone for awhile? Who been giving you pussy?" His normal cutter Andrew laughed as Chris couldn't help but blush.

"Ah, you don't need to know." He replied going over to sit in his seat. The women in the back of the shop whistled lowly and all swooned over Chris. They were only there to do hair for the barbers side chicks.

"I think everyone know lil mama. Aint that right Benz?" Andrew asked his coworker.

"Yeah we know Celeste." Benz assured.

"Yeah, we knew her on the poles. But what you want today man?" He asked tossing the cape over his body and got his razors ready.

"Just a little buzz, these curls aint doing me no justice no more." He replied.

"Say no more." Andrew chuckled.

"So you know Celeste?" Chris inquired. He wanted to know what they knew about his girl.

"We just knew her on the poles thats all, is there something serious with y'all going on?" He asked curiously.

"Hell yeah man, thats my fiancé so I hope you still aint talking to her." Chris lied.

"Nah, we aint even talked. She was just a down to earth woman, she deserve a nice man like you. But you hear about that lil lady getting shot a few weeks ago?" He asked. Here came the gossip.

"Shit, they took me and my bitch in for questioning last night! For why I don't know." Chris replied. He found the questioning a waste of time.

"Y'all? Y'all don't even travel around that area. Thats far from here." Andrew mumbled.

"I mean they were watching us yesterday at dinner, I had my bodyguard tell me. Anyways they was asking where I was at and shit, then asked me if I knew Xent."

"Xent? What Xent got to do with this?" He asked Chris.

"I don't know, but Xent wouldn't do that shit. He wasn't even at the station for questioning." Chris said as he sucked his front teeth.

"Xent a cool lil dude. But you know what I did hear?" He asked drawing everyone in the shops attention. Some people even asked what as he was ready to tell.

"I heard somebody back running them prostitution halls down there. That might be why someone got shot and they asking people if they know." Andrew revealed as everyone seemed interested. Chris stayed silent. He was the leader of it all, he couldn't act interested.

"Word? Who told you that?" Chris asked in a fake tone.

"Yo homedawg Jarelle, but don't tell him I told none of y'all." Andrew warned pointing his finger at various men in their chairs.

Jarelle? Chris and Jarelle were friends since grade school. He couldn't trust a nigga now. Word spread, legs spread, news spread in this city. Chris didn't like his private information being spilled. He had to do something about it.

Celeste couldn't help but play in her freshly trimmed hair. It was straightened and slated to the gods, she loved her hair dearly. The door alarm system beeped and Chris came in with a Five Guys bag in his hands. And sipped from his straw. He winked at Celeste before leaving her presence and entering the kitchen. He placed the bag down and took out his burger and sat up to the island to eat it.

Celeste joined him and sat right onto the counter. Childishly she dug into the greasy bag to pull out some fries and shoved them into her mouth.

"What you aint eat today?" He asked with a mouthful.

"Not really. I met up with Tiaré for lunch, but she pissed me off. So I left." She said watching him eat. He nodded but didn't show much interest or care.

"It aint nun to cut that bitch off. Speaking of cutting off, I think Jarelle needs to get cut off. Jarelle a damn snake." He said to her as he chewed on his golden fries.

"Who your friend?"

"Hell yeah. That nigga runnin round in the streets telling my business. Wont be for long though."

"What do you mean?"

"It dont matter babe. Lets get in the pool." He suggested hopping off the stool and heading out back. He didn't like that Jarelle did him dirty. A nigga was supposed to ride for their nigga in his mentality, obviously thats not what Jarelle thinks. So he just simply needed to either have a one on one with him or remove him from Baltimore.

After changing into her new bikini she had brought in St. Tropez, Celeste joined Chris in the water as he swam a few laps for some simple excersise. Putting in her feet, she didn't specifically want to get in because of her hair.

Coming above water he walked over to her, opening her legs he stood in between them and held her hands as her legs wrapped around his slick waist.

"Um get in, its all ours." He said smoothly staring into the depths of her eyes.

"My hair? Absolutley not." Celeste refused.

"Please, I won't get you wet. I won't play around, I wanna show you something." He whined adorably making Celeste fall into his arms.

"Fine." She decided as Chris smirked.

Picking up her body bridal style the first thing he did was dip her head under water for a moment then brought her back up.

"Chris!" She yelled slapping his bare chest as he laughed. "What the fuck!" Celeste groaned managing her way out of his arms, she went to go sit back on the side of the pool.

"It was a joke! Your hair is fine babe." His teeth shined as he laughed from being goofy. He liked messing with Celeste, good times and bad times.

"No its not, the ends are curling up. I hate you." She sneered rolling her eyes heavily.

"But guess who loves you?" He uttered sitting up next to her on the side of the pool. "I do, and you love me." He said holding her chin and placing his lips on hers. Celeste forgave him, and she loves him, but she doesn't want him, her heart does. And well the heart wants what it wants.
