"Aren't you exited for the new season ?" I ask my sister while jumping on her bed.
"Nana, calm down we have school first you know." Nia says raising an eyebrow

Someone knock on my sister door.
"Enter." Says Nia
Our mom enter my sister room and start to talk :
"Come on Naïla, stop jumping on your sister bed and get ready."
"Okay." I say in a annoyed ton, I wanted to jump a little more.
I get out of my sister room and get ready.
We go to school.
School is finished time for dance.
Dad drives us and then leaves.
"Hi girls." Abby says happily at the front of the studio.
"Hi Miss.Abby." We say together making our way to the den.
Nia goes to the toilet.
I enter the den and see the Ziegler's.
"NANA I MISSE-" Maddie couldn't even finished her sentence that Mackenzie run to hug me.
"I missed you so much." Mackenzie says
"Me too Kenz." I say hugging her a little tighter.
"Kenzie move, I want to hug her too." Maddie pushes Mackenzie a little and hug me.
Nia comes in and Mads and Mack hug her.
"Hi Melissa." I say to Maddie and Mackenzie mom
"Hi honey, you are good ?" Melissa asks with a smile on her face
"Yes, I am good and you ?" I ask politely
"Great." She says ending the conversation.
After that the Lukasiak's comes in.
"Chloe !" Maddie and I shout in unison
We go hug Chloe.
"Wow wow calm down guys." She says before dropping her bag and then hug us tightly
"Let me hug Nia and Kenzie too." Chloe runs to hug them
"How was the trip you did to Cincinnati ?" Christi asks
"Pretty good, they were nice there you know compared to Abby." I replie
"Don't worry I don't doubt about it." Christi says before I chuckle a little.
I go talk with the girls
After five minutes of doing split and everything( We absolutely didn't do that, we were talking) the Hyland's comes in.
"Paigey-Mack and Brookie Pookie ! " I shout running to Paige and Brooke to hug them.
They hug me back and let them go of me.
"How was your summer ?" I ask
"Not really interesting except the fact that Paige annoyed me all summer." Brooke says exaggerating on the all summer.
"You are saying this like you didn't." Paige says
"No I didn't."
"Yeah you certainly did."

Paige stick her tongue out before going in the others girl direction.
Brooke roll her eyes and goes there too.
"You got into the summer Cincinnati ballet school program ! High five girlfriend." I high five Kelly before joining the other girls
We hear Abby voice and get up.
"Come on girls let's go, come on get in here !" Abby shout as we walk in.
"How is it going, Naïla, Nia were is your mother ?" Abby ask
"She's at work." Nia and I replies
"Not gonna happen she's need to leave work, leave the job, forget it and be here with you two."

"We all know that Cathy's not here because Cathy wasn't a team player. Where did that get Vivi-Anne ?Nowhere. I'm gonna have an open audition; a casting call for a new dancer for the Abby Lee Dance Company. Tell everybody you know that we're looking for a new girl for this group. Maybe two new girls, everyone's replaceable, are you next ?"
"First Mackenzie," Miss Abby says as she reveals Kenzies headshot first,
"you can't sit on the couch and eat chips you're not 6 and under you're 7 and over and I expect the same thing from you as Maddie did when she was 7."
"Next Brooke, Brooke why are you on the bottom of the pyramid ? You had a great season but then you took a break, you didn't show up to class."
"Paige same thing you can't take a vacation, new rule dancing year round."
"Nia, you wanna win a title it's all about a title every time I talk to your mother it's back to the title.. your mother could care less about you winning a title she's not even here."
"Chloe, you're in the video people recognise you wherever you go now, that's pressure"
"Maddie, this season you won only 3 solos, your season wasn't bad but it wasn't great. And your nationals season was second, we don't come second in that company." Abby says. But if someone come first, you gotta be second.
"And on top is...Naila, you season was great, you are undefeated and you went at the Cincinnati Ballet School, that deserves a round of applause." Abby says, before everyone start clapping.

"Naïla, Maddie, Chloe, Nia you're going to be doing solos, now Naïla, Maddie, it's not going to be an easy win it's 9 and up and you're on the young side of the age." Abby says, I nod, hope it's going to be easy.
"This weekend we will be attending Dance troop in Greens berg North Carolina, we are gonna do a new number called Sassy Dolls, we have one week till the competition and we don't have routine yet we're starting from scratch right now this is going to be crazy, alright ? Moms I am gonna dismiss you." Abby says

Five days to competition
We are in studio C learning the group with our teacher, Eddie.

The song plays as we we start the group.
"Hands at the judges, where this hand !" Abby shout as we dance.
"This hand ladies, left hand is it on the back, is it on the tight, is it in a the fist, everybody is doing something different. But what bothers me is that none of you has the instinct of raise your hand, what we are supposed to do. Wake up !" Abby says, she still didn't tell us we're we should put our hand.

I am in a jazz when I hear Abby's screaming at my mom. Oh my gosh, this is embarrassing. Abby is almost never at the studio, why is she here right now.
"Naïla, focus." I hear Gianna say, everyone turn to look at me.
"It's okay, don't worry, Miss. Abby screams all the time." Maddie mumbles to me before we get our attention into class again.

Mom, Nia and I are going to a cafe to talk.
"This is the deal, this weekend I have to work."
"Are you positive that you can't miss dance for one day ?" Nia asks mom
"I am very positive, that's make me really sad." Mom says

I don't really care for myself, mom saw a lot of dance of mine, last year that I liked but Nia...
"But I will talk to her and make it very clear to her that if she has an issue with me not being there, you have to talk to me about it. So if mommy not her, mommy is here." Didn't really understand that sentence tho.

Three days to competition
It's the audition day, Nia and I walks in and there a lot...lot of people there some are asking for pictures !
I did take some. I feel like Selena Gomez right now, ok, ok, ok, I get it I will calm my ego.
We go into a class when we finishes, we dance with the girls that auditions a little bit. We get in a line to see if the girl can fit in the group or not.
"As you know we are looking for one person, 232, 479 step forward." The number that Abby called step forward and there's only Payton. Payton is a girl that is already dancing at the studio.
"Payton, you know I love your just not right for this particular competition team, so I have to let you go." Payton leave the room.
"Ooh relived 201, 479 sadly I have to let you go, thank you very much. 230, congratulations !" We all hug her. The moms come congratulate her too.

Two days to competition
We did the group dance in front of the senior company, it was a little scary.
Now I am doing my solo rehearsal/practice, hope my dance isn't to hard.
"Your solo is called Hey Mickey. You are portraying a cheerleader, it's upbeat acro." Abby say I nod.

"Leg hold and turn." As she finishes her sentence I am doing the moves.
"How much ?" I ask out of breath
"Let's do four." I do four leg old turn and finishes my dance with Abby telling me the moves.
"Come over here." I walk over where Abby is sitting.
"You won nationals last year, you had a summer scholarship at Cincinnati Ballet school, people are out to get you, don't be soft in your dancing be strong and confident." Abby says, I nod
I learn and rehearse the dance.
"Do more faces, it's what it's all about." Abby says, I nod
"Okay you are dismissed call your sister in." I exit the door and go call Nia.
"Nia, Abby want you for your solo practice." I say
"Ok, thank you Nana." Nia says making her way to studio A.
"No problem."
"What is your dance about ?" Maddie asks me
"I am a cheerleader that have a crush on a guy named Mickey." I replie
"Like the mouse ?!" She asks
"No not at all, a real guy. What about your solo ?" I say and asks
"It's about a girl succeeding on Broadway." She says
"Cool." I say, we talk for about 2 minutes before going to the general tap class.

One day to competition
"Turn those feet out !" Abby screams as we are doing the group dance.
"Why Brooke upstairs ? She supposed to get a drink and get back here." Abby says
"She want to go at the football game." Paige says
"Brooke if you are going to the football game and I am calling Payton to come in." She literally asked to go to a football game, it's no big deal.
"Why do you have writing over you hand, it's ridiculous." Abby says, Brooke start crying. Maddie and I hug her and go back to our spots.
"Stop hugging her, she's thirteen year old, geez." Abby says, we can't give hugs now ?
Kelly goes in the room to talk about Brooke situation.
Nia, Paige, Mackenzie, Maddie, Chloe and I go out of the room and leave the dance studio to go home.

Competition day
It's snowing ! We are packing our luggage in the bus.
"Mommy won't be there but there's a lot of mommy's that are going to take care of you." Mom says, Nia and I nod
"Wait Mommy." I say
"Mommy wait." Nia says she turn back and we hug her one last time.
I sit beside Maddie. We watch Gilmore Girls until we arrive.
"Girls,come on let's go." Abby says, we get out of the bus.
"You aren't wearing your jacket too." I say to Paige as we walk in the hallway.
"Yeah and I should have because I am freezing." Paige says
"Me too don't worry."
We are in the green room.
Costume :
My costume isn't the best I had but it still cute.
Christi finish to do my hair as Abby is going to talk to all the soloists.
My hair are in two pigtails with one bow on each.
"Thanks for doing my hair." I say to Chloe's mom
"No problem, honey." She replies, I smile at her and then get up to go in front of Abby.
"Listen you just shot the music video people recognize you they know who you are don't go up there and forget your dance. Do not freeze keep dancing." Abby says to Chloe.
"Naïla, you danced at one of the top dance school in U.S.A, people are out to get you, they don't want you to win and you have to prove them." Abby says, I nod. Don't really care if I win or not, I just want to dance.
Maddie and I walk backstage holding hands. She is right before me.
"Now we'll like to welcome to the stage contestant 65, welcome Maddie."
"Go Maddie !" I shout
It's very delicate and very executed.
I kiss her on the cheek and the announcer start to speak.
"Next is an advanced acro solo, contestant number 66, Naïla."
I walk on the stage and pose,the music start.

"Next up we have contestant number 84,welcome Chloe." We clap for her.
Chlo-bird did awesome !
I quick hug Nia because we are already calling her.
"Next contestant number 85,Nia."
Her dance is fabulous and with her dancing it is even more awesome.
She go offstage and run a little to hug me.
"You did great, Nia."
"Thanks Nana, you did too." I hug her one last time.
"Next we have contestant 90, Bring on the boys."
She did good for the first solo she learned in two days.
We go back to the hall with the other girls.
Solo Awards
"In fourth place we have number 85 we have This small girl, Abby Lee dance company." I clap loudly, She placed in the top five awesome, hope I do too.
"Our first overall junior solo awards goes to number 84 born to sing Abby Lee Dance Company!" I clap
"In second place in our pre-junior category is number 64 Star Of The Show Abby Lee Dance Company" First competition in the 9 and up category and she is second ?!
"And in first place in our pre-junior category is number 66, Hey Mickey, Abby Lee Dance Company" My jaw drop and I go collect the plaque and I side hug Maddie.
Kendall didn't place, sadly.

"We need to get ready let's go."Abby says, I have to erase my make-up because it's white and red and the costume is pink and silver.
"Kendall are you crying ? Save those tears, you save those tears for your pillow and your room alone. You are going to humiliate yourself in front of all the people in this dressing room." She continues to talk, I don't really pay attention to it.
"Girls this is the first time you are on stage after the big national win, you understand that ? You can't be right here to right here in one performance." Abby says as we rehearse the group.
A woman burst in the room.
"Guys your next you need to come let's go !" The woman say, we run to the backstage.
"Next up we have performance 185 performing Sassy Dolls."
We did good overall, I think ?
Group performance awards
I sit between Kendall and Maddie.
"Maybe you will dance with us next week !" I say in a exited ton, it's good to have a new friend.
"Yeah I hope so." Kendall says
"Second place number 108 The Break down."
"First place number 185, Sassy dolls, Abby Lee dance company." We got up and takes our medals.
We go back in the dressing room, Abby is talking about the fact that we were sloppy, I don't really care I just want to dance.
This season is going to be intense.
