Saeko soon joins so Sumiko hands her the binoculars. Not wanting to see a man getting eaten by 'them'. "Damn it, it's too cruel." Takashi says turning away in anger. "Komuro!" Hirano calls out. "What?" Takashi asks turning to him. "What are you gonna accomplish by shooting?" Hirano asks. "What else?! I'm gonna shoot them-" "Did you forget? 'They' react to sound Komuro." Saeko tells him. Takashi clenches his fist. "And then, the living will see the light and know we're here and come in hordes." She continues turning down the lights. "Of course, we don't have what it takes to save everyone's lives! They have to survive on their own. Just as we're doing. I know what you want to say. I heard it from Takagi. Compared to yesterday, you've grown severe and have also stepped up to your role as a man." She adds.
"But... take a look. Get used to it! This world's changed into a place where you can't survive on chivalry alone." She hands him the binoculars as Sumiko and Hirano stare at them in silence. "Busujima, I could've sworn you felt differently than that." Takashi says Saeko stays silent for a few seconds before turning to face him. "Don't get me wrong, Komuro. I'm just saying how it is. It's not like I enjoy it." She confesses, leaving soon after. Sumiko sighs, kneeling beside Hirano. "Ah Takashi, when you look out do it stealthily." Sumiko suggests causing the boy to blush in embarrassment. He kneels beside her looking through the binoculars. "It's hell out there." Takashi points out. Sumiko nods in agreement going inside the room to find a gun. She comes back with an SLR equipped with a 6x scope and a suppressor. She checks to see the amount of ammo that's in the gun before returning to the balcony.
When she returns the boys stare at her. "What?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. "Do you know how to use that?" Hirano asks. "Yes, my mother taught me how to use guns." She explains, propping the gun on the ledge of the balcony. They all go back to surveying the area. They watch as a father and daughter approach a house. Sumiko frowns watching them. Her eyes widen when the man raises his weapon threatening to break down the door if they didn't open it and gasps covering her mouth when they open the door and stab the father with a knife. She watches in horror as the little girl cries loudly attracting 'them'. "Damn it!" Takashi growls watching them also. Sumiko turns to Hirano who gives her a nod. "Let's rock and roll!" Hirano says, shooting 'them'. Sumiko takes in a deep breath and shoots those around the kid. 'I can't believe I scored a headshot on a gun I've never tested out before! I'm a natural at these things. Then again, I wasn't even 100 meters away.' "You want some too?" Sumiko asks shooting the walkers that tried getting close to the child.
"Aren't we not supposed to be shooting? What happened to ignoring others for our own survival?" Takashi asks watching his girlfriend in amazement. "She's just a little girl!" Hirano defends. "Takashi, come on we have a kid to save. Hirano cover him from up here, I'll cover him from the outside and help clear a path!" Sumiko calls out to him getting up from her position and rushing down the stairs with Takashi close behind. "Sumiko? Takashi?" Rei calls out seeing Sumiko rushing past with the gun close to her chest and Takashi hurriedly putting on his jacket. "I'm going to save a little kid." Takashi informs. "I'll come too." Rei suggests. "No, keep watch from the front gate. I'm going to ride the motorcycle to her." Takashi tells her. "But..." "Let him go. A man's word is final." Saeko interjects causing Sumiko to roll her eyes. "I'm sorry, Busuji- Saeko. I guess I'm just not this kind of person." Takashi tells her walking down the stairs with Sumiko close behind. "I knew that of course." Saeko says smiling once he walks past her.
Takashi turns off the light, "Takashi?" Saeko calls him. "Hm?" He hums looking back. "We'll protect this place no matter what. Don't worry and see you soon." She tells him, smacking her butt, Sumiko frowns. "At least take this with you." Rei says offering him the gun. Takashi takes the gun with a smile and Rei wraps both her hands around his. "All right, Takashi come on the kid's still in danger." Sumiko says through gritted teeth. They all walk outside, Saeko with her wooden sword, Rei with the baton, and Sumiko with the gun. "Don't rely too heavily on that gun. If you fire, they'll come in swarms." Saeko warns. "Either way, the bike is gonna make a racket." Takashi replies. "That's true, but... the motorcycle makes sounds because it's going somewhere. But the gunshots are stationary." Saeko explains. Takashi gets on the bike and turns to Sumiko. "Don't use the gun unless needed." He tells her. "I know. Come back with the girl safely alright?" "Don't worry, I will." He reassures her so she smiles. "Takashi?" Rei calls out to him, as she and Saeko stand in front of the gate ready to open it.
Takashi puts on the gun having a determined look on his face. The two girls open the gate and Takashi flies out the gate with the bike waking up Saya. The older twin runs out to join the three girls. "What's all the commotion?" She asks Rei. "Something good just happened." Rei replies. "What?" Saya asks. "We realized we're still human." Rei answers. Sumiko sighs and lays on the ground shooting the walkers that tried getting through the gate while Hirano shoots those around Takashi clearing a path for him. Saya, Saeko, and Rei look at her surprised causing the girl to sigh but not say anything. The gun soon runs out of ammo and Sumiko groans internally having forgotten to take extra magazines. She gets off the ground and dusts off her front. "I never knew you knew how to use guns. Pretty impressive." Saeko comments with a small smile. "Thanks my mom taught me how to use them, Saya was never interested in that sort of stuff though." Sumiko replies smiling at the girl. "We can't stay here. Saya go wake up Miss Shizuka. Rei, Saeko pack some supplies in the Humvee, I'll go get Hirano. On and Saya once you've got the nurse come meet me." Sumiko orders, leaving the area.
She hurries up the stairs to the room Hirano is in. "Hirano! We need to leave now!" Sumiko tells him coming up behind him. Just as she says that Saya arrives with the naked nurse. "M-miss Shizuka?" Hirano shouts having a nose bleed. "Saya, Miss Shizuka let's get the things from the locker and under the bed." The twins and nurse pack up everything they could into bags and rushes outside. "Rei, leave that to Saeko and come help us." Sumiko calls out to the girl and they both look over surprised that she used their first name. "Miss Shizuka, please put on some clothes." Sumiko sighs seeing the still naked woman. The woman blushes and rushes inside to put something on. "Now to prep the car." Saya says running to the gate with Sumiko close behind. "We can get through in the car now. 'They're' all distracted by Komuro." Saeko points out looking over the fence. "Geh! What's he planning to do? He can't get back on his motorcycle through that horde." Saya points out. "In that case..." Rei trails off. "Why don't we go get him then?" Miss Shizuka chimes in buttoning down her shirt causing everyone to turn to her.
She starts freaking out thinking she said something wrong. "A grand idea!" Saeko says and they all smile. "That's all we can do. It's settled! After we save Komuro, we'll make a dash across the river! Now let's get ready!" Saya announces with that they gather supplies at put them in a pile outside. "We got a ton. I wonder if we can fit it all." Miss Shizuka says. "More urgently, how are we going to load it? If 'they' came halfway through..." Rei trails off. "We'll have to sneak them out like thieves in an RPG." Saya suggests. "Then we'll do that." Saeko agrees. Miss Shizuka gets in the car trying to figure out how it works while Rei and Saya sneak the supplies to the back and Saeko and Sumiko stand guard on either side. "Load up the goods, save Takashi and the girl, then leave." Hirano remembers what Sumiko told him. "That's nice and all but even a Hummer can't handle that many. We'd need a tank to get them outta here." He says watching 'them'. Saya goes over to wave to Hirano signaling to him that they're ready to go. "Or else Komuro will have to do something to get himself out." He says and something catches his attention causing him to look over. "Well I'll be.." He says seeing Takashi walking on the ledge with the girl and dog secured.
Saya directs Miss Shizuka how far back to go. "Where's Hirano?" Sumiko asks. "Isn't he still on the second floor?" Rei asks. "Sheesh, he's amazing, but so slow..." Saya adds. "Eek!" The older twin squeaks seeing Hirano who had two flashlights on either side of his head, two guns, and two belts of ammo. "Uh." They all stare at him in silence. "This is nothing..." He states looking back at them. "U-uh, is something up?" He asks. "You look like you're enjoying this." Saya tells him. "Compared to Takashi." Sumiko adds. They all get in the car and Hirano hands Sumiko some more ammo. "Thanks." The girl says reloading her gun. She and Hirano stand in the hatch with their guns while Saeko stands above them. "Uwah! There's so many!" Miss Shizuka points out. "Yeah, but we can't just run away so run 'em down!" Saya yells. Miss Shizuka does just that causing Saeko to crouch down as to not fall off in doing so leaning closer to the two giving Hirano a nosebleed and causing Sumiko to blush feeling the girl's breasts on her head. The car swerves so Sumiko quickly ducks in holding onto the seat for dear life screaming.
The car stops at the end of the wall so Sumiko pops out from the hatch again. "Takashi!" Rei calls out to him. Sumiko and Hirano shoot the walkers that try getting close. "Last call for a ride across the river. You getting on?" Saeko asks. "Hell yeah!" Takashi replies jumping onto the hood of the car. Once he was on Sumiko stretches her hands out for the kid and puts her inside and does the same for the dog and then waits for him to enter. When he did she hugs him, "Thank goodness you're safe." She says pulling away and turning to the child. "Hello, my name is Sumiko. What's yours?" Sumiko asks offering her a smile. "Alice." She replies shyly. "Well, Alice we'll take good care of you, okay?" She smiles at Alice. "Okay." "You must've had a long day." Sumiko tells her opening her arms. Alice goes to her laying her head on Sumiko's chest and falling asleep. Sumiko wraps her arms around Alice and scoots between Takashi's legs laying her head on his shoulder and falling asleep as well. Takashi smiles at her wrapping his arms around them.
