-Sapphire's POV-
I arrived at aunt Genkai's later that day with Hiei, everyone else was already there. We walked through the front door to see everyone stood talking
"Hey babe" Kurama said before coming over and kissing me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Hiei look away and quickly walk to the other side of the room.
"Hey guys" I said to everyone who then replied with a 'hi'
I walked up to my room and dumped my bags in my room, I pulled out a large birthday card for Kurama as it was his birthday in a few days. The card was a pale blue with a picture of us all on the front.
"Hey! Everyone come up here please, not you though Kurama, you can't see!" I yelled. They all rushed upstairs to my room, I gave them all glitter pens, because we are cool like that, and everyone wrote a birthday message. When we had all written on it, I put it inside the envelope and slid it under my pillow. We all made out way downstairs, I was at the front of everyone as I took the stairs two at a time. I turned the corner into the sitting room to see Kurama and Natalie making out. I turned around and pushed through everyone, running out the back door ignoring their protests and calls. I slammed the door and ran off as the tears ran down my cheeks

-Hiei's POV-
Sapphire pushed past us all and ran out of the back door. I walked into the sitting room with everyone else behind me and froze, Kurama and Natalie, making out. Without thinking I stormed over and pinned Kurama up to the wall by his neck.
"What the hell Kurama, what about Sapphire?!" I hissed in his face
"What about her? She seemed pretty happy curled up with you earlier today, Natalie saw you" he smirked back
"She was like that because she was crying! She was upset because she thought the two dimwits hated her but mostly because she thought you were leaving her for Natalie!" I yelled back. The smile left his face but soon returned. Kuwabara and Yusuke finally got over the shock and came to join me.
"Oh well, she was a little slut anyways" Kurama laughed. That was it, I punched him straight in the face. When he fell to the ground I turned around to face Natalie who was just stood looking proud of herself.
"If I wasn't a guy, I would hit you too" I growled at her. I can't believe she would do all of this, wait, actually I can believe she would do this, it's her normal type of thing.
"Oh which reminds me" said Genkai walking up to her. She grabbed Natalie's hair and punched her in the face, from the looks of it Natalie's nose was either broken or badly damaged.
"Don't you EVER mess with my niece again, or it will be the last thing you do. Now get the hell out of my house!" Genkai yelled at her, Natalie was holding her nose and was walking towards the door.
"You too Kurama," said Yusuke.
"You broke her heart after she trusted you enough to tell you everything" added Genkai.
With that Natalie and Kurama left, hand in hand, slamming the door behind them. There was a tense atmosphere after they left, Yusuke and Kuwabara were sat next to each other on the sofa, they both just sat staring at the floor.
"Hiei, may I have a word?" Genkai asked. I nodded and followed her out of the room. We ended up sat in a strange kind of office that had beanbags and sweets. What the hell. Plus she's Sapphires aunt, that was new information.
She sat in a bean chair across from me and began to talk "Now Hiei, I have something to tell you..."
