AUTHOR'S POV
It's been a month since yn accepted Jeongin and us friends into her life. She was not the cold but not that cheerful. She was somewhere in between them and Lia was actually happy to know she made new friends. Jeongin is as always sweet and playful . He never leave her alone and she didn't complaint about it. Yn actually enjoyed his company. She didn't feel lonely anymore.
Right now yn, jeongin, Changbin, Hyunjin and seungmin was at a cafe. They decided to hang out because it was weekend and they were surprised that yn joined them. Normally she would make lame excuses to not hang out.
Changbin : I still can't believe I'm actually hanging out with yn.
He said making others look at him.
Hyunjin : I agree.
He said while nodding his head.
Seungmin : stop with your over dramatic asses. You're making her uncomfortable.
He said while frowning at them.
And there started a drama between Changbin, Hyunjin and Seungmin.
Jeongin : I'm sorry yn. You know how they are. Just ignore them.
He said while looking at her.
Yn : no. It's fine. It's actually fun to see them like this.
She said while smiling unconsciously.
Hyunjin : oh. Wait. Yn smiled!!!
He said excitedly while clapping.
Changbin and Seungmin looked at her.
Changbin : you're ryt. We made her smile!!
Now all three was being loud which made people to look at them.
Jeongin : guys! Calm down!!
They apologize to the people for being loud and sat back in their seats.
Seungmin : you should smile more. It's beautiful.
He said as he sat down.
Jeongin : now this is embrassing!
He said as he faceplam himself.
After he said that, the waiter came and served their food. The silence was beautiful as they ate their food but it was broken by Seungmin.
Seungmin : guys my girlfriend is here.
Hyunjin : wait she's real?
Seungmin : what do you mean by she's real?
Hyunjin : I thought she was just your imagination.
He said as he chuckled.
Seungmin : YOU-
Jeongin : you should probably fetch her. I want to meet noona.
He said breaking the soon to happen fight between Hyunjin and seungmin.
Seungmin nodded and left to fetch his girlfriend while Hyunjin was laughing at his victory of making Seungmin annoyed.
Changbin : if you continue this, one day you'll die by the hands of Seungmin.
He said to Hyunjin.
Hyunjin : I would like to see him try.
He said back while calming down a bit.
Yn : guys I'm going to the washroom.
She said and left.
After a few minutes, Seungmin came back with a girl next to him. When Jeongin saw her all he could think was she looked familiar to him. But then the bulb light up. Yes, it's her.
FLASHBACK
JEONGIN'S POV
I and yn was in her room. If you ask me what I was doing in her room, I would answer with just hanging out. Yea. No other funny business.
Within the past few weeks I could tell yn was getting more comfortable with me. She now talks to me, hang out with me sometimes and I like it. I like it that she was not feeling lonely anymore.
I was just looking around her room when a photo caught my eyes. It was on her table. I went near it and picked it up. It was a photo of her and some other people who might be her friends I think, as she is smiling widely in that photo. They were in a picnic in that photo. She looks so happy in the photo. Her smile is so beautiful. I wish I could make her smile like this one day.
I was so immersed in the photo that I didn't realise yn was next to me.
Yn : what are you doing?
I jumped a little.
Me : nothing. I was just looking at the photo.
I said showing her the photo.
She immediately took it from my hand.
Yn : how did you find it?
Me : it was just on the table. Why?
Yn : nothing.
Me : are they your friends?
I asked her and she nodded hesitantly.
Yn : this is Felix. He was a funny caring guy.
She said while pointing at a blonde long hair guy in the picture.
Yn : this is Jake. He was the the mom friend. Always cared for others but still goof around.
She said while pointing at a brown haired guy.
Yn : this is Ryujin. She's Jake's cousin. She was like a sister to me while Jake was like my brother.
She said while pointing at a black short hair girl in the picture.
Me : you're using past tense.
Yn : maybe because it's in the past.
She said while shrugging.
Me : who's he?
I asked pointing to a black haired guy who was next to yn.
She sighed before answering.
Yn : it's Niki. He is my best friend.
Me : seems like you like him?
I asked trying to tease her.
Yn : yea. I did.
When she said that it hurted me. Why do I feel hurt?
Yn : he always cared for me. More than himself.
I hummed in reply.
Me : seems like he's still your friend that you didn't use past tense.
I said with a little smile.
She didn't answer and placed the photo in her dairy.
Me : why were you guys doing in the photo?
Yn : nothing much. We were on a picnic. It was the last time we hang out with each other.
Me : what do you mean?
Yn : after that somethings happened and I moved here so I lost ll contacts with them.
She said while her voice was breaking a bit.
The tears in her eyes didn't go unnoticed by me. I hugged her and patted her back to calm her down.
FLASHBACK ENDS
JEONGIN'S POV
Wait what if it's not her? What if it's somebody who looks like her?
Seungmin : where's yn?
Changbin : she left to washroom.
Seungmin : okay. Well anyways, meet my girlfriend Ryujin. Ryujin these are my friends.
He began to introduce us.
Wait it's really her. It's yn's friend. I can't be wrong. There won't be people with same face and name for sure. It's really her. Omg. I'm pretty sure yn will happy to see her again. Where is she?
Hyunjin : earth to Jeongin!
I flinched a little.
Me : yes? Did you say something?
I asked as I noticed they all looking at me.
Seungmin : what are you thinking about?
Me : nothing.
I looked at Ryujin.
Me : are you perhaps yn's friend?
As soon as I asked her smile dropped.
Ryujin : yn? Choi yn?
She asked with a serious expression.
I nodded nervously.
Ryujin : you know her?
I was about to reply but was interrupted by a familiar voice.
??? : Ryujin?
I looked at the direction and saw yn with tears in her eyes.
What's going on? Why does Ryujin looks so angry other than being happy to see her old friend? Was I wrong when I thought it would be sweet reunion?
AUTHOR'S POV
Yn was frozen in her place as she saw Ryujin who was glaring at her.
Ryujin : never thought of seeing you again after what you did.
She scoffed.
Yn : I didn't do anything.
Ryujin : then why did you leave huh?!
Yn didn't answer.
Ryujin : tell me! Why did you leave if you did nothing wrong??!
She yelled making the people around them to look at them.
Changbin : maybe we should talk from somewhere else.
He said while he and the other stand up.
Ryujin : there's nothing to talk about.
She said and left from there.
Yn was now crying. She ran out of the cafe.
Seungmin : what just happened?
Hyunjin : may be you should ask your girlfriend and Jeongin, you should probably talk to yn too.
Seungmin : you're ryt. I'll go now.
He said and left with Jeongin.
Now Changbin and Hyunjin was left alone in the cafe.
They apologize for making a scene and left from there.
Changbin : what do you think happened between yn and Ryujin?
Hyunjin : I don't know but it seems serious.
YN'S POV
I ran out of the cafe so that people won't see my crying. I don't know where to go so I just went to some random direction. After a while I saw a park and went there and sat on the bench still crying.
I can't believe it's happening. I thought everything will be alright but.........
??? : Hey.
I heard a soft voice.
I looked up to see.....................
I looked up to see Niki.
Niki : you alright?
Me : no.
I said while crying.
Niki : it's okay. Don't cry, it hurts me.
He said as he hugged her tightly.
Me : I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
Niki : it's not your fault yn. Don't listen to anyone.
Me : but still-
Niki : shhh.......
He patted my back calming me down.
I always thought about this day. A day when everything comes back to me. When I wish I haven't even born in this world.
SEUNGMIN'S POV
I ran out of the cafe and look around. I noticed Ryujin walking away. I ran to her and held her hand. She turned and look at me.
Ryujin : what?
Me : what was that?
I said while calming breath.
Ryujin : what do you mean?
Me : you know what I mean. What happened just now? Back at the cafe?
Ryujin : you guys don't know? I thought you know everything about her before becoming her friend.
She scoffed.
Me : what do you mean Ryujin?
Ryujin : she's the reason someone died and then she got away with it.
Me : someone died? What are you talking about?
She sighed.
Ryujin : I can't really blame her but at the same time I can blame her for not telling me what's going on.
Me : Ryujin can you speak clearly?
Ryujin : I'm in no position to talk about her past but I do want to say something.
Me : what is it?
Ryujin : ..................................
After hearing what she said my eyes widened. Is she telling the truth? Yn won't do anything like that.
Me : are you sure about it?
Ryujin : I'm not but the blame us on her. I wanted to apologise but she ran away.
Me : what if she didn't do anything though?
Ryujin : if she didn't why did she ran away? When she went, she broke our whole friendship group. She didn't even say a good bye and when we went to her house to meet her, her parents insulted us and put the blame on us!
Me : but you shouldn't have just shouted at her at the cafe. You could have just talked things out.
Ryujin : I want to. But I'm sure she doesn't want to hear me.
She was crying now.
I don't know who's at the wrong here.
I hugged Ryujin to comfort her.
Me : I'm sure she wants to talk to you too. Just give her a chance.
She hummed.
