I'm finding pieces of myself
lying on the floor
and in places that I never knew I could exist
Pieces
and shards
that once made the shell of me
don't fit the same way anymore
Maybe they never truly did
Maybe they always had but
It is my shell, my skin, me
that has changed
now,
maybe it is the pieces that have to fit me
and not me who has to fit the pieces
