Veilwood was a myth, shrouded in mystery, protected by the glacial magic of its trees. The location of it was a bit more distant and isolated than the typical locations of other kingdoms in Westeros. This isolation and mystery had allowed the castle to remain untouched and undiscovered, with those that have ventured beyond the wall seldom returning with stories of its existence.
The House of Glacival were the descendants of first men, that were blessed by the children of the forest.
The house of Glacival are a mythical family, originally hailing from the snowy and frigid lands beyond the wall. They settled in the land of the first men, where they forged a grand castle known as the Veilwood Palace. The magic of their glacial trees protected the castle and allowed them to thrive in this harsh and unforgiving climate.
That was until the Dead came.
Veilwood was protected for centuries, why not now?
Iridessa Glacival knew that eventually she'll have to leave her home, but she didn't imagine it would be now, riding away with shaking legs, a tear stained face and a heavy heart, fleeing the attack her home was facing.
It wasn't fair, that she was escaping, but everyone she knew and loved, were facing a horrific fate.
