"You good?" Saint asked kalani while he kept his eyes on drew, Saint knew exactly who he was.
"I'm fine let's just-" kalani got cut off by drew speaking up
"She good she don't need saving" drew said making kalani eyes go wide
"Was I fucking talking to you?" Saint said looking at drew up and down, kalani breath hitched feeling Saint move his arms from around her waist
"Like I said she good, lani know who I am she know me very well" drew said smirking making kalani frown , they only went on one date they never even kissed so what did he mean by that
"Watch ya mouth " Saint said in a tone kalani recognized too well
"I'm supposed to be scared of you? You mad cause you can't keep ya bitch in check?" Drew said making kalani gasp, before she could say anything Saint cocked his hand back sending a blow to drew face , kalani watched as Saint beat the shit outta drew. Darnell came over along with bully pulling Saint off
"Don't get caught lacking" drew said spitting out blood as jr held him back, Saint was beyond pissed nothing nobody could say to him could calm him down
"Saint relax please" kalani said touching his arm, he snatched it away not even looking at her
"Get the fuck off me yo" he spoke angrily and walked away leaving kalani standing there she didn't understand what she did wrong , she watched as Saint walked away leaving her standing there.
"Kalani you ok?" Dejah asked walking over, kalani seen von following behind Saint
"Yeah I um. I'm wanna go home" kalani said playing with her ring, Saint never talks to her like that so him doing that was embarrassing and hurtful.
"Ight sis I'll take you home" trigger said to kalani who grabbed her purse nodding, trigger knew how sensitive kalani was he wasn't expecting Saint to do that either. Kalani walked past everyone and left out the club walking to bully car, Mariah followed behind her getting in the car
"You ok?" Mariah asked and kalani nodded she didn't wanna talk about her relationship problems with anybody expect Saint and dr Shaw.
"Yeah I'm fine, I'm sleepy trigger just take me to my apartment please" she told him and he nodded she watched as he put his hand on Mariah thigh making her jaw drop
"I know y'all fucking lying y'all made it official?!" Kalani said making Mariah giggle
"Stopppppp" Mariah said covering her face as trigger chuckled
"I KNEW IT! When the fuck did this happen?" Kalani said shocked, she did not think Mariah liked trigger!
"It's been happening for a while! I'll tell you later" Mariah whispered making trigger suck his teeth
"Her lil ass got stranded one day and needed a ride and one thing led to another now she's having my baby" trigger said making kalani jaw drop
"WHAT?"
"No, Malik stop! I'm not pregnant" Mariah rolled her eyes and trigger laughed
"Ouuu y'all sneaky! I like this tho " kalani said smiling, she really wanted Mariah to be happy
"Thank you, he gets on my last nerve tho" Mariah crossed her arms and trigger popped her thigh making her mug him
"Ouch! Don't piss me off!" Mariah said making kalani laugh, they pulled up to her apartment and she got out waving goodbye, she went inside and sat her stuff down. Dakota was with Saint mom so she would get her in the morning.
She walked into her room opening her closet door grabbing an oversized T shirt. She heard her phone ring but she ignored it she knew by the ring tone it was Saint calling her
"5...4...3..2..1" she counted down then she heard a knock at the door, she laughed to herself slipping the shirt on walking towards the door. She looked through the peep hole seeing an irritated Saint standing there, she opened the door putting her hand on her hip
"I'm sorry mama " he said looking down at her she rolled her eyes moving aside letting him walk in, she looked at his hand seeing that it was still bleeding.
"Come on" she shut the door locking it, she grabbed his arm bringing him into her bed room
"Sit down" she told him and he did, he tried to reach out and touch her but she pushed his hand away. He knew she was upset with him he was wrong as hell
"Move saint" she blew a breath as she tried to clean his hand but he kept trying to touch her
"I'm sorry kalani fr, I ain't mean to act like that " he said grabbing her thigh , she ignored him cleaning his hand he hissed at the alcohol sinking into his cut
"Okay Saint your hand is fine now move" she pushed his hands from her stepping back, Saint watched her as she walked to the bathroom throwing the stuff away he didn't want the night to go like this he let his jealousy get in the way. Kalani walked back into her room pulling her shirt down, she climbed into her bed with her bonnet on her head
"Baby" Saint said and kalani looked at him and blew a breath she knew dr Shaw would want her to express herself
"You embarrassed me and yelled at me. You never speak to me that way, don't do that shit again. I know you were mad but don't take that out on me" she told him and he nodded
"I'm sorry, I ain't mean to yell at you or talk like that to you. Forgive me please I'm sorry I love you" he grabbed her foot kissing the bottom of it
"That's fine I love you to go sleep on the couch bye" she snatched her foot away making him smile he knew how stubborn she was
"You gon put me on the couch? " he chuckled and she nodded folding her arms across her chest, he grabbed her ankle placing a kiss on it, he kissed all the way up to her thighs and she watched him do it
"Can I say I'm sorry first?" He asked looking between her legs seeing her thong , she bit her lip nodding her head. He pulled her close letting her lay on her back , he pulled her panties to the side and pushed her legs up by her head giving him a perfect view
"Oh!"
"Move Saint don't touch me" kalani popped Saint hand , she was still bothered by last night and even tho the head was great that still didn't change anything
"I love you" he said and she rolled her eyes
"I love you to now get the shit so we can go please" she told him and he smiled rubbing her thigh, Dakota was sleep on his chest as they stood in target. Saint needed a few things and they just got back from his mom house
"Give me a kiss" Saint said looking at kalani who leaned on the cart, she rolled her eyes ignoring him which made him send a hard slap on her ass
"OUCH!" She yelled making Dakota whine
"Look you woke her up" Saint teased and kalani rolled her eyes rubbing over the spot he just smacked, Dakota sat her head up looking at Saint mugging him. She reached out for kalani making her laugh
"It wasn't even me fats " Saint said sucking his teeth watching kalani take Dakota , Dakota laid on kalani chest mugging Saint
"She's mad at you, come on Saint just grab the stuff you need and get Dakota another bottle please " she watched him as he put the stuff in the cart , Dakota sat up patting kalani chest
"Girl what you want?" Kalani asked looking down at Dakota who put her hand inside kalani shirt and laid back down making kalani laugh
"You and your daddy are sooo clingy y'all wanna be in my skin so bad!" Kalani laughed walking behind Saint , Saint walked to the register paying for the stuff. He grabbed all the bags and followed kalani out the store to the car, she put Dakota in her seat and kissing her forehead
"You want a cookie? Don't tell dada" Kalaní whispered opening the bag grabbing a cookie giving it to Dakota , she quickly stepped back and closed the door getting in the a passenger seat
"Lani pass me the- Dakota where you get a cookie from?" Saint looked at Dakota than back at kalani
"You gave her a cookie?" Saint squinted his eyes at kalani who turned her head forward ignoring Saint glare , Dakota started to giggle at Saint face
"You think that's funny fats? You let ya mama give you a cookie " Dakota smiled showing her one tooth and her gums making Saint laugh he could never have a straight face when Dakota smiled, he shut the back door and got into the drivers seat
"You hungry ?" Saint asked kalani who was scrolling on Instagram
"Yes but I'm gonna cook so just go to your place" he nodded placing his hand on her thigh driving to his place.
"Get her don't touch the bags kalani" Saint said parking in his spot kalani rolled her eyes and grabbing her phone getting out the car. She opened the back seat revealing Dakota covered in the mess of the Oreo cookie
"Aw shit, next time I'll listen to your dad" she laughed and grabbed a baby wipe , Saint opened the door and sucked his teeth seeing Dakota and his floor covered in Oreos
"You ain't even gotta say nun I already know I already know" she held her hand up at Saint while he grabbed the bag shaking his head with a disappointed look, kalani stuck her tongue out at him and grabbed Dakota out her seat.
"You sticky koko now I gotta give you a bath " they made it to Saint place going inside, kalani went straight upstairs with Dakota she sat her on the bed and stripped her out of her clothes
"Gagagagagagaga" she played with her feet as kalani threw her clothes in her hamper , Dakota rolled over onto her stomach making kalani shake her head
"Busy body" she picked Dakota up taking her into the bathroom, she placed the stopper in the tub and let it fill with cool water , she threw all Dakota toys in and sat her inside
"MMMMMMGAGAGAGAG" she splashed the water In excitement she loved taking a bath she always thought it was play time
"Hmm let mommy get under your neck" she tried to get under Dakota neck but she grabbed her finger
"Mmmmmm!" She tried pushing kalani hand away making kalani laugh, she continued to wash her body and the door opened
"Wassup fatfat" Saint walked into the bathroom with a change of clothes, he was only wearing his basketball shorts
"She won't let me get under her neck" kalani said as Saint sat down on the floor next to the tub , Dakota splashed the water letting it get all over Saint
"Damn Kota " he laughed wiping the water off his face, Dakota started laughing and kalani quickly got under her neck
"Haha! Got you" kalani stuck her tongue out making Dakota mug her,
" there she go acting like you again" kalani rinsed the soap off than dropped the rag and sat back letting Dakota play, Saint reached his hand up and rubbed kalani stomach making her suck her teeth
"Move Saint don't get beat the fuck up" she pushed his hand off her stomach
"Let me feel on my son" Saint smirked placing his hand back on her stomach
"I'll spend that $500" Kalaní mumbled and Saint snapped his neck towards her
"What you say?"
"Nothing!"
4 hours later
Saint woke up to his phone ringing loud, he popped his head up seein Dakota body on his arm and kalani leg across his body with her head on his chest. He smiled at them and then remembered his phone was ringing, he patted his free arm grabbing the phone seeing it was kalani phone and it was her group chat calling
"Girl idk she's not answering... oh wait there she is" he heard Dejah said making him bring the phone to his face
"Ewwwww it's street" Mariah said making a face of disgust
"Tf y'all want" Saint said mugging the phone, he looked over seeing Dakota rolling over on her back still
Sleep
"Where is my friend at? " India said making Saint suck his teeth
"She's sleep big lips " he wiped his face moving the phone , kalani groaned turning her face the other way
"Not to much on me patchy! Tell kalani to wake up we wanna go out for drinks tonight!" India said
"No not tonight tomorrow India!" Dejah said and India nodded
"She's sleep and she's not going outside with y'all she's staying here with me " he said looking at kalani who was slowly waking up
"Saint shush" she whined and he looked down smiling
"This bitch is so in love it makes me sick" Mariah said making them laugh
"Right! 2 months ago it was fuck Saint now today she's fucking Saint. Crazy" Dejah said making Saint laugh he couldn't believe it either but he was glad it happened.
"Mama, get up ya friends annoying me" he rubbed her back and she opened her eyes looking at him, she looked over seeing Dakota knocked out , after giving Dakota a bath and kalani cooking they decided to take a nap which was a mistake because they slept longer than they meant to
"Who you talking to?" Kalani sat up letting the blanket fall she was wearing a T shirt with her boy shorts
"I'm talking to ya annoying ass friends they blowing up ya phone while we sleep" he handed her the phone and she picked it up
"What y'all want?"kalani rubbed her eyes hearing somebody suck they teeth
"Mean ass couple I tell you, bitch we going out tomorrow night be ready. I'm gonna go fuck my man now bye" Dejah hung up making kalani laugh, she hung up after Dejah did and looked over seeing Saint turned on his side , kalani climbed off Saint bed and stood up
"Where you going?" He asked her making her stop in her steps.
"To pee Saint you wanna come with?" She said sarcastically and he sat up, he grabbed a pillow placing it next to Dakota than standing up following behind kalani
"I wasn't being- nvm come on" she walked into the bathroom turning the lights on , she walked to the toilet sliding her underwear down sitting on the toilet. Saint leaned against the wall watching her pee
"I want you to know this isn't normal. You watching me pee is insane " she said wiping herself and flushing the toilet she pulled her under up and stood up
"I don't give a fuck, go on" he sent a soft smack to her ass as she walked to the sink to wash her hands. Saint stood behind her placing a kiss on her shoulder
"You are obsessed with me it's sick" she giggle drying her hands
"You know I am, pass me that" she grabbed his toothbrush handing it to him, he grabbed it walking out the bathroom to check on Dakota he walked back in the bathroom seeing kalani brushing her teeth. He went to the other sink doing the same.
"She's still sleep?" Kalani asked putting her tooth brush back and Saint nodded wiping his face with his rag.
"Put her in her crib " kalani said walking past him, she stopped and smacked his ass then ran making him looking at her.
"You childish as fuck treasure " he mugged stepping out of the bathroom seeing her climbing in his bed next to a sleeping Dakota. It was currently 9:27pm and kalani knew Dakota would be sleep for a while she had a bath she played and she ate.
Saint picked her up slowly and carefully taking her into her room, he slowly laid Dakota in her crib and smiled. It was almost her birthday and he couldn't be more excited to have a one year old
"I love you" he whispered leaning down kissing her forehead , she smiled in her sleep making him smile. He turned on the baby monitor and the camera kalani recently brought. He walked out of the room going back into his room seeing kalani sitting up
"What's wrong?" He asked her looking confused
"Come sit" she patted the bed and he raised his eyebrows and walked over to the bed sitting down
"So last night kind of threw me off I didn't like how you spoke to me but we talked it out and I liked that it shows how much we've grown together. I love how gentle you are with me how patient you are with me, I love how this has taught us so much. So lately I've been having my separate sessions with dr Shaw and we talked about a few things so I got you something " she grabbed the box off the desk handing it to him, he grabbed it opening it revealing a custom made ring
"Yooooooo you deadass?" He looked at the ring smiling, she knew how much it meant to him. He lost the ring a year ago and never got time to get it again
"I have a question to ask you " she said nervously making him look at her
"If you wanna get married than yeah " he said putting the box down and she laughed at the seriousness in his tone
"No! Not that" she shook her head as he sat down waiting for her to say what she wanted to say
"Saint Michael Carter will you be my man again?" She smiled at him and he cheesed even harder
"Fuck yea"
