AU: "Atlantis: The Lost Empire"
Varian has devoted his entire life to finding the mythical lost city of Atlantis. Everybody always criticized him for his research, and there were times he even began to lose hope that he would ever find it. But he never stopped believing that it was real.
After getting a team together, Varian's dreams finally come true. They discover Atlantis, and it is better than he could have ever imagined! The people, their technology, the mysterious purple crystals they each have that seems to be their life source... Everything is so incredible!
But never in Varian's wildest dreams did he ever expect to meet someone as amazing as Cassandra. The beautiful and courageous Atlantean is the princess of this hidden realm, and Varian finds himself drawn to her from the moment he meets her. He decides to stay here, in Atlantis, with her.
Thankfully, the people accept him as one of their own. They give him his own purple crystal, and he lives happily alongside Cassandra for the rest of his days.
