Hoseok was out doing grocery shopping for him and jungkook. Usually jungkook accompany him whenever he went outside but today hoseok convinced jungkook to let him go alone
Jungkook Over protectiveness is getting on hoseok's nerve. He is beyond annoyed with jungkook. But of course he understand why jungkook behave like this, he is grateful that jungkook love him this much.
Hoseok was walking back home after shopping, he was busy in his thoughts when he bumped into someone and fall on the ground
" oh my god i am so sorry are you alri- Hoseok?" the said man said as he stare at Hoseok who was rubbing his hand
Hoseok looked at the man after hearing his name, his breath caught in his throat as he saw yoongi looking at him with doe eyes
" Hoseok are you alright? " yoongi asked as he gave hoseok a hand to stand up
Hoseok hesitantly raised his hand to held yoongi's hand but at the end he Didn't hold his hand and got up on his own. He dusted off the dirt from his pants, he looked around and saw all his groceries laying on the ground
" Hoseok i am really sorry, i didn’t saw you " yoongi once again apologise
Hoseok didn’t bother to answer him as he walked towards his groceries and start picking them up one by one. Yoongi heart felt a stang as hoseok ignore him. He walked near hoseok and start helping him lifting the groceries
After some moment Both of them gather all of hoseok's groceries, Hoseok finally looked at yoongi and mumbled a quick "thank you"
Hoseok was shout to walk away when yoongi called his name Again
" hoseok i-um if you don’t mind can We talk for a few minutes? " yoongi said looking at hoseok
Hoseok looked back at yoongi And titled his head and look into yoongi's eyes
" please? Just one coffee? " yoongi pleaded when hoseok didn’t answer him
Hoseok would be lying if he said his heart didn’t do a little happy dance when yoongi offer to talk with him, but he wont let yoongi or anyone else know this. He kept a straight face and nodded
" Alright, just one coffee " hoseok said as he look into yoongi's eyes.
Yoongi's face lit up after hearing hoseok response, he unknowingly smiled at hoseok showing his gum
Hoseok swears he fall in love once again after seeing yoongi's gum. Even tho this man with gum hurt the hell out of him but still he managed to fall in love with him once Again. Call him pathetic he doesn’t care
"Thank you hoseok" yoongi said with a big smile on his face
Hoseok didn’t answer, yoongi came near hoseok, he badly wanted to held hoseok hand and guide him to near coffee shop but he couldn’t, he can't, he dont have any right to hold hoseok hand after everything he done.
He doesn’t even have the right to stand near hoseok let alone talk to him.but he still is doing this, he knows he shouldn’t, it will Only hurt him in the end but he doesn’t care. He is selfish.

Hoseok start walking as yoongi followed him behind. Soon Both walk side by side. Just like yoongi hoseok also wanted to held his hand but he didn’t, why would he?
Soon they reached at the nearest coffee shop and sat on one of the seat near the window, yoongi helped Hoseok placed his groceries on a chair
"Thank you" Hoseok mumbled under his breath as he took his seat
"So um- what do you want to order? " yoongi asked sightly nervous
" one black coffee " hoseok simply answered
" but you don’t like black coffee " yoongi said with a surprise face
"Huh?" hoseok was taken a back by yoongi's sudden words
"I mean you like ice coffee with 2 sugar. You hate the taste of black coffee since It's bitter " yoongi mumbled as he looked down at his hands
Hoseok chuckled at yoongi's words. He was surprise to know the oldest still remember his order. At least he Didn't forget the youngest completely
" i like bitter things now" hoseok said looking at yoongi
Yoongi looked back at hoseok. For a moment hoseok saw something in yoongi's eyes. Something which hurt hoseok heart. He saw guilt,sadness,emptiness in yoongi's eyes.
" okay " yoongi said in a low voice as he looked at the menu
Soon a waiter came and took their orders. Both males sat in a awkward silence, not knowing what to say
" so -um what did you want to talk about?" hoseok said breaking the silence
Yoongi who was busy staring at hoseok, came out of his thought after hearing hoseok voice
" i- don’t know " yoongi admitted,
He just wanted to spend some time with hoseok. Nothing else
" oh- " hoseok said looking at his hands
Hoseok was kinda disappointed, he thought maybe maybe yoongi would tell him the real reason they broke up. Maybe yoongi will give him an explanation for his actions
" why? " hoseok finally said
" huh? Why what?" yoongi asked confuse
Hoseok took a deep breath closing his eyes. He opened his eyes and look directly into yoongi's eyes
" why did you left me there? " hoseok asked
Yoongi who wasn’t expecting this question was taken a back. Why did he left hoseok there? Sure he has the answer but he can't say that. Not now. This Isn't the right time.
" don’t you think i deserve a explanation? " hoseok asked once again
" i am sorry " that's the Only thing the older manage to say
Hoseok bitterly chuckle at yoongi's words. He shaked his head before looking back at hoseok
" of course you Are sorry. I just want to know why? " hoseok said with a serious expression
"I-i can't tell you " yoongi said looking down at his hands
" why not? I don’t think anything can hurt me anymore " hoseok said
" i- can we talk about this some other day? I-i just wanted to have a coffee with you " yoongi said in a low voice
Hoseok deeply sighed, he looked at yoongi and saw the oldest looked really smol, and hurt. Hoseok decided to not to push the question anymore. He still have plenty of time to ask him the question.
If he doesn’t get the answer one time, he will ask thousands times. Sooner or later yoongi have to answer hoseok. This time he wont let yoongi go without answering him.
" how's your work? " Hoseok asked changing the subject
Yoongi released a breath he knew he was holding. Mentally thanked hoseok for being so understanding even after so many years
Both boys talked for some more time. Their coffees was Served when they both were busy talking about their works life. Hoseok got a black coffee and yoongi got a ice americano.
Yoongi also ordered a strawberry cake for Hoseok even tho hoseok told him not to. Yoongi insisted and he may or may not use puppy eyes on hoseok to convince him
Hoseok was enjoying his cake, when he notice yoongi staring at him with eyes full of admiration. Hoseok tilted his head and looked back at yoongi
" is something wrong?" hoseok asked
Yoongi didn’t answer him, he lift himself up from his seat and lean near hoseok, hoseok breath hitched as yoongi touch his lips and remove some icing from hoseok lips
" there all clean " yoongi wiped the icing and seat back on his sit
" t-thank you " hoseok said still stunned by yoongi's action
Yoongi shaked his head and showed his gummy smile
" you still didn’t changed seok-ah " yoongi said smiling widely
Hoseok heart melt at the nickname he heard after 5 fucking years. He was so close to start crying in yoongi's arms when he called him seok-ah. Yoongi notice hoseok distress face, his smile faded as he start apologising
" i am sorry. I wont call you that again if you are uncomfortable " yoongi said as tears started to gather in his eyes
" n-no It's fine. I don’t mind " hoseok immediately said
Yoongi's eyes lit up, he smiled his gummy smile once Again and nodded his head
Soon both boys finished their coffees. They bid their goodbyes. Even tho none of them wanted to. Yoongi wanted to hug hoseok so badly but he didn’t dare to ask or do that. He wanted to know if hoseok still smell like strawberry. But he didn’t, he watched as hoseok left and walked away from his sight. He kept looking at him until he couldn’t spot him anymore
Hoseok walked into an allay, he stopped beside a wall and smiled to Himself. Hoseok also wanted to hug yoongi, he wanted to feel the smaller man in his arms, he wanted to know if the oldest still smell like his favourite mint chocolate
Yoongi sat back on the cars driving seat as two smirking face looked at him
" stop smirking you two dork" yoongi said while groaning
" did you had fun hyungie~" taehyung said teasingly from the backseat
" shut up and tell me did you two saw anyone looking at me or hoseok?" yoongi asked with a serious face
" we didn’t hyung. Everything was clear " jimin said from the driving seat
" great " yoongi said
" shall we go now? I really want to pee " taehyung said while whinning
Yoongi nodded and jimin start the car, leaving the parking area. Yoongi looked outside the window as a small smile sat on his lips. He was happy to talk with hoseok once again. After so many years. He was low-key thankful to namjoon and seokjin for getting married.
Espcially to namjoon for forcing hoseok to come back here. Otherwise who knows how many more years he had to wait to see hoseok??
