"Our newest employee.....Noe Archiviste!"
Once the out of breath man stood up, vanitas was able to take in his features. He saw that he was surprisingly good looking. He had a dark complexion with refined facial features, stunning, purple eyes and glossy white hair that fell to just below his ear. Vanitas found himself looking for more than he would allow himself to and shook his head to break the trance.
"H-hello" he said with a smile on his face,"Sorry for all the commotion, my cat got let out before I left". He turned to face vanitas "Hello, I am...well you know who I am, I hope we can be good friends!". "Me too" Domi said under her breath. Vanitas shot her a dirty look. "huh?" Noe said confused, "Nothing, nothing" she said hurriedly. For the second time in one day, the door was thrown wide open.
"Jeanne!" vanitas cried, excited to see his favorite friend to annoy. Vanitas thought for a moment that he saw the smile fall from Noe's face, but was quickly replaced to greet his new fellow employee. "Hello.." Noe started "Jeanne, call me Jeanne" "well then Jeanne, i have the honour to meet you" Noe said with a beaming smile.
"chop chop people time to get to work!" domi called from across the restaurant. In his usual fashion, vanitas sauntered over to the supplies of folded table cloths and started slowly taking them to their assigned tables one... by.....one. "By the way vanitas, Noe has been assigned to help you with your chores so show him how to do them all please." could this day get any worse, vanitas thought? I ran out of time to annoy Jeanne and now I have some new guy watching my every move. "So how you......and then you get......and that's the easiest way to fold the table cloths" Hours passed and before he knew it and vanitas was actually enjoying working with Noe. when the end of the day came Noe thanked vanitas for teaching him the basics, and before he could finish his sentence..
"Hey Vani, want to take a walk in the park?" Jeanne called. "sure i guess" vanitas replied
"bye Noe see you tomorrow" vanitas said before running after Jeanne. To be honest, vanitas felt bad for leaving Noe hanging, but nothing could be done now.
