Uzui sat above a pile of chard clothing belonging to the citizens of the red light district.
Makio and Hinatsuru sat next to the pile silent.
Uzui didn't make a sound as he stared.
"Has suma made contact with you at all?" He said, looking up at the two.
Makio didn't look at Uzui. She couldn't face failure.
"No." She said, holding in tears.
Uzui clenched his hands.
"I will create a team in order to find her and kill any demons." He said, standing up.
"Please. Do not follow me on this mission. I know this Demon.......she is a monster. And if she has been in the red light district for this long, she is no doubt much stronger."
He kissed both makio and hinatsuru, saying goodbye.
As soon as he closed the door and left his home, he felt an uncontrollable anger explode within him.
He took out his sword and swung it, cutting down a tree.
"GAH! I HATE YOU NEZUKO KAMADO! I WILL KILL YOU, EVEN IT MEANS I DIE MYSELF!"
He continued walking angrily as the tree fell behind.
Inside his home, Hinatsuru and Makio watched as the tree fell, and he continued to walk.
"We can't let him do this without us. As much as I know, we should listen. He could get hurt or, worse, die." Hinatsuru said, looking at Makio.
"But Lord Tengen said not to follow."
Hinatsuru felt a jab in her gut.
She was right. He was protecting them from getting in the way. They didn't know any breathing techniques.
"You're right." She said, sighing.
Makio was shocked.
She was right.
"I'm just worried about Suma."

Suma sat in a cold, dark room with a hot heat coming from the other side.
She shivered as she begged to be let go.
Tanjiro sat still across the room, gently petting a crow.
"I have a crow here with me. I want you to tell the crow to get a set of hashira here."
The crow was terrified and put at ease by Tanjiros presence.
"P.....Please." Suma begged through shivers.
Tanjiro clicked his tongue and stood up with the crow.
He walked over to suma and lowered the crow to her.
"Tell her to get hashira here."
Suma stopped shivering because of Tanjiros' warmth.
"I will not kill you, Suma. I have come to enjoy your company. I just want to have some fun. The hashira are the only way for me to have that fun."
Suma lips quivered as the words began to escape her throat.
".....H....help me lord tengen."
Tanjiro smiled at her, pulling out a bean bun.
"Here you go, Suma. See, it wasn't that hard."
Tanjiro gently pet the crow as Suma devoured the bun. It was the first thing she had eaten in days.
Tanjiro walked outside and whispered to the crow.
"Go get me the good ones, ok Ota." Tanjiro said, letting her go.
The crow flew away as quickly as it could.
Tanjiro smiled as it flew away, feeling excited.
He turned to go back to the cellar where suma was.
He could hear her shivering and shaking from the cold.
Tanjiro picked up his sword and tossed it just close enough for her to have some source of heat.
Suma looked at him as he turned to leave and felt frustrated beyond belief.
"WHY ARE YOU NOT KILLING ME! WHY DO YOU INSIST ON FEEDING AND TAKING CARE OF ME!"
Tanjiro frowned as he walked back over to her.
"I have a sister, ya know. We are quite special. You see, we are the only two demons, besides muzan, that have our human memories. It is as much a curse as it is a blessing. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The reason why I take care of you is because I see a piece of my family in you. Specifically, my younger sister. So I care for you so that I feel better about the ordeal."
Suma looked confused as tanjiro walked away.
A demon with their human memories? That's impossible, right?
Tanjiro, again, stood up and left the room.
He sat outside and whistled a sweet tune.
"Ahhhh Tanjiro! You're all done! Did you eat her or let her live." Daki said, balancing on the roof.
Tanjiro smiled, looking at her.
"Of course I let her live. She reminds me of my younger sister."
Daki sighed, falling on top of Tanjiros lap.
He began to braid her hair as they talked.
"How many years how you known that breath still?" Daki asked.
Tanjiro continued braiding and smiled.
"Since I was about 6. My father taught me that and other techniques to use it."
Daki and Tanjiro sat together and just talked.
They had grown quite attached to one another throughout the couple months they had been together.
They, of course, still checked up or were checked up on by their siblings often.
Daki and Tanjiro enjoyed their time together. They would talk often about how the stars looked and how people acted in the city.
They both found each other very fun to be around.
The sun began to rise as they stood there.
"Let's go and wait for tomorrow." Daki said, transforming back into her human form.
Tanjiro smiled, doing the same.

"HELP SOMEONE HELP, SUMA, RED LIGHT, HASHIRA, UPPERMOONS!" The crow screamed as it fell down in front of gyomei.
"What are you talking about?" He said, gently picking the crow up.
"Uppermoons are in the red light district and have suma captive. He is going to kill her and everyone there if strong hashira don't show up!" The crow said quickly.
Gyomei dropped his hands and sighed.
"Get Uzui and any else nearby, I will leave immediately to scope it out."
The crow flew away again as Gyomei ran to the red light district.
As he left, the crow found Uzui and told him the news.
Before she could finish, Uzui immediately left to go to the city.
Still worried about the hashira, she found 2 more hashira.
Kanae, and Sanemei.
All four of them began to run to the red light district as quickly as possible.

The day was slow. The hashira had all met up and decided to sleep through the day in order to be rested for a fight if it were to happen.
Uzui didn't sleep, though. He had to find suma, in case of her being hurt in any way.
He didn't know what demon was there, but he had a feeling it was her.

Soon enough, the hashira all woke up.
The sun had begun to go down, and they all stayed perched on a roof.
"What's her strength like?" Kanae asked Uzui, who stood looking over the city.
"She uses a weird blood art technique. It's literally blood. She makes blades, summoned blood rings for defense, and her blood is flammable." He said, looking at his swords.
"What about her brother? Tanjiro wasn't it."
Uzui didn't speak for a moment remembering Rengokus look of defeat and bloodied body.
"All I know is what Rengoku told me. His eyes show no killing intent, yet that's all he is doing. He doesn't have any presence, just.......emptiness."
"Who cares. We'll just kill em both." Sanemei said, leaning back.
Gyomei looked up, grabbed his axe, and flale.
"There."
Two demons stood across the ways.
One with green eyes.
One with red.
"Who are they? I don't feel much power from either of them."
Uzui squinted his eyes and saw something.
A sash.
He quickly dodged it and cut it.
Suma began to materialize from the as she stood up.
"Wa....what happened?"
Uzui hugged her overjoyed.
Kanae looked back over and saw the demons jumping closer to them.
The two of them landed and looked at the hashira.
"Hello, everyone." Tanjiro said, bowing.
"It is a pleasure to be in the presence of such strong warriors."
Gyomei was thrown off by this.
This demon had such a warm presence. It was if he didn't want to kill them. He seemed almost kind.
"I do apologize for sumas condition. She hasn't had proper food in quite a while. But I know a wonderful Ramen shop just down there that the humans love. It's cal....."
Sanemei dashed at Tanjiro as his sword cut through the air towards tanjiros neck.
Tanjiros image faded away as Sanemei swung his sword at his after image.
"It's called Ugios. Oh, how I miss Ramen. Here, let me get some for the poor girl."
Tanjiro disappeared, leaving the hashira confused.
Daki starred down at them as they glared at her.
"You, demon. What is your name?" Kanae said, holding her sword still ready to fight.
"Daki. Uppermoon 7."
All the hashira were shocked.
7? There had never been more than 6, let alone 7.
"Then who was that we were just speaking to?" She said, still showing no fear or any emotions for that matter.
Tanjiro reappeared, taking Suma from Uzui.
Tanjiro sat her down on rooftop nearby.
"Please enjoy the food before you leave. It's really good. And no, I didn't poison it." He said smiling.
Tanjiro left, leaving suma stunned.
"What the hell is going on?"
Tanjiro reappeared behind the hashira sighing.
"Sorry about that, the girl needed some food. I couldn't have her running away while we waited for you all." Tanjiro said, gesturing to all of the hashira.
Just then, tanjiro looked at them and smiled.
A sickening feeling filled the hashira.
A twisted image of Tanjiros face filled their eyes......even Gyomei. It was as if Gyomei could see him. His blood red hair, his gentle yet haunting stare, and his eyes.........
"Upper 2." Kanae said, gripping her sword tighter.
"Yes. I have been promoted to such a rank through my knowledge of.......Sun......Breathing." Tanjiro said, pausing.
He saw it.
"That man. He looks like me. I hear his voice. But I see two images."
Hinokami kagura: Dance.
A single vertical slash.
Tanjiro attacked Uzui first.
He raised his two swords but was met with an unstoppable wave of flames.
Gyomei threw his flail at tanjiro to stop him.
Tanjiro saw the attack and changed his attack.

An image created from twisting and fast movement.
Sanemei dashed at Daki, who took a deep breath in and ducked under the attack.
She sent a sash at his stomach.
Sanemei changed the direction of his sword and slammed it down on Dakis Neck.
Instead of decapitating her, Dakis neck bent with the blade, and she wrapped her body around the blade and attempted to hit him.
Kanae slashed the attack, making Daki jump away.
Gyomei and Uzui stared down Tanjiro as Daki stared down Kanae and Sanemei.
