Chapter 8 College fest preparation

When they were reading out the names of the pairs I thought I would be paired with my friend but I wasn't paired with him I was sad that I wasn't paired with him the same goes for him he was paired with his girlfriend and the girl that I was paired with didn't come to college that day (she had the same name as my school friend I thought that they may have the same name so I was curious to see her) they assigned all the pairs with some work I was the head of all the stalls and decoration for the fest and they told that the preparation for the fest will start tomorrow we were ok with the things after sometime the meeting was finally over (it felt like it was never going to end ) after I came out my friend asked me if I was free to hangout but I refused the offer as I was too tired because of that meeting and it was getting late so I insisted on going home(during the meeting my mother called me 3 times) so I called her and she was angry on me for not answering the phone so I told her about the meeting of the organisers then she calmed down and asked me if I was coming home or not I told her that I was heading home directly she told ok and hang up the phone
