Hmm, this bus is very clean.

(He is the same height as Ayanokoji so consider him to be as large as him. He is also wearing the same uniform.)

I looked at the sights from the bus as I am going towards my new school. I'm pretty sure I still have my usual emotionless face as I looked out of the bus window.

As I was enjoying the new sights the sound of a girl drew my attention. I turned my head and saw a Japanese woman wearing office worker clothes as she is addressing a boy.

"You there. Can't you see that the old lady is having trouble?" The lady said to the blond haired boy sitting in front of her.

"That's a crazy question lady." The boy said with an arrogant tone as he crossed his legs.

Guess he's an arrogant one.

"Why should I give my seat to an old woman? I see no reason why I should do it." The boy said to her arrogantly.

"Isn't it natural to give the priority seat to the elderly?" The woman said to him with a glare.

"I don’t understand. Priority seats are just priority seats, and there is no legal obligation for me to move. Whether or not I move should be decided by me, who is currently sitting in this seat. Will you give up your seat because I am a young man? Hahaha, that’s a stupid way of thinking." The boy said to her in the same tone.

Well, that type of tone will surely make an adult angry. Not to mention that that kind of tone is something that someone would never expect to hear from a highschool student, which I'm sure is going to piss her off in a few more seconds.

"I am a healthy young man. Certainly, I don’t feel that standing up would inconvenience me. However, it is obvious standing up will consume more physical strength than sitting down will. I don’t want to do such a useless thing. Or maybe, are you telling me to be more lively and energetic?" The boy said to her in the same way without any kind of hesitation.

And judging by her expression she's going to get angry at him.

"What, what kind of attitude is that towards your superiors!?" The office lady shouted angrily at his words.

After that it was some speech about superiority from the boy which only caused the lady to get more angry as she was surprised at the boys words and tone as she became angry at his attitude.

"Wha…! You’re a high school student!? Honestly, just listen to what adults say!" The office lady said to him angrily.

"It's fine it's fine." The old lady said to the young woman.

I watched the exchange with my usual emotionless stare as the office lady got more angry and started to insult him which caused my eyes to widen a bit.

I'm pretty sure that if it were in my country a lady saying those kinds of words in public would be considered taboo in my culture. Well, this is Japan so I guess it's allowed?

The old lady tried to calm her down with the boy making another remark before putting headphones and started listening to music.

"I'm sorry." The office lady apologized to the old lady as she gave a small bow.

Well at least the old lady doesn't seem to have much problems with it. If that is the case then there is no problem as far as I'm concerned.

I went back to gazing at the sights but after a few seconds the voice of another girl caught my attention.

"Um… I also think that the lady is right." A girls voice resounded in the bus.

I looked and saw a blond with gradient hair and red eyes.

Huh, that girl was standing next to the two ladies when they were arguing.

"This time it’s a pretty girl, apparently I have luck with women today." The boy said with a smirk.

Well, I guess he would say something like that. It actually matches his personality.

"Grandmother, it looks like it’s been hot for a while now. Won’t you give up your seat? It may be none of your concern, but I think it will contribute to society." The girl said to the boy.

If everyone were to actually contribute to society then the current society wouldn't exist. And I'm pretty sure that the boy doesn't care about contributing to society.

"Social contribution? I see, that’s an interesting way to put it. Giving seats to the elderly may be a way of contributing to society. Unfortunately, I am not interested in contributing to society. I only think about my own satisfaction. Oh, and also. In this crowded bus, you’re asking me, who’s sitting in the priority seat, to give up my seat, but can’t you ask the other people who are staying silent and leave me alone? If someone truly cares for the elderly, I think that ‘priority seat here, priority seat there’ would be a trivial concern." The boy said to her with a confident smile.

Heh. He raises a good point really. A priority seat is just that, a seat. Whether a person sitting should give it to another is their choice entirely.

I saw the old lady and office lady give a bitter smile when her words also fell on deaf ears as I looked at the girl.

"Everyone. Please listen to me for at least a little bit. Can anyone give their seat for the old woman? Please, anyone." The girl however turned and addressed everyone on the bus.

Huh, she doesn't give up huh. But now that that question has been posed to all the other passengers one of them is sure to cave in to their guilty conscience and give up their seat. In that case I don't have to think more about it.

And so I averted my eyes from the scene in front of me and saw two other students who wore the same uniform as me. They were a boy and a girl. Both of them have an expressionless face and don't seem to care much about what is happening in front of them.

Among the group of students that I am also a part of I saw that the two of them didn't seem to have much to a reaction to the ladies outbursts or my fellow students which caught my attention.

"Oh, here you go!" A woman said as she raised from her seat.

Huh, guess she decided to give up her seat. Good for her and the grandma.

I watched the student girl thank the woman a few times before he helped the old lady to the seat as the office lady also has a smile on her face. Seeing that the event is no more I just went back to looking outside the window without a break in my expression throughout the things that happened.

Contribution to society huh.

I looked at the boy sitting at the priority seat and then at the other passengers of the bus.

In the first place, no human being is obligated to contribute to society. Each person in the world, is shaped by their life choices, their environment, their thoughts, the people surrounding them and various other factors. And so everyone is unique in their own way, so in the end it's their choice whether they want to contribute to society or not.

No one has any right to dictate the way someone should live their lives as they don't know their experiences, more so if the people they are meeting for the first time. Unless a person truly knows about the other they have no reason to tell them what to do or how to live their life.

So as far as I'm concerned, how someone lives their own lives totally depends on their choices rather than on the choices of others. So the choice of contributing to society is also a choice that a person has to make on their own.

After that I leaned onto my seat and closed my eyes and folded my arms and waited for the bus to reach the destination.

Soon the bus reached its destination as I opened my eyes. I got my bag and stood up before slowly walking out of the bus. After exiting the bus I saw a gate leading to the campus which is made of natural stone as I saw students enter it as I have the same face.

"Huh, nice place." I said as I looked at the impressive structure.

I slung my bag on my shoulder as I was about to walk forward but then I saw the boy and girl standing a few metres in front of me. The girl seemed to be asking the boy about why he was staring at her.

Well, not that it matters to me anyway.

I walked past them as I didn't pay much attention to their conversation as I made my way to my new school.

"Stay out of trouble? Don’t compare me to you. I didn’t give up my seat because I did not feel any sense in giving up the seat to an old woman." I heard the girl say causing me to stop.

I glanced at her from my shoulder as I saw the back of the girl as her hair fluttered due to the wind as she seemed to be looking at the boy.

Hooh, it seems that she is quite a cold person and it looks like the boy offended her.

(A/N: So, harem members cause I can't make a fanfic without harem in it. I am thinking of putting Horikita in it as well. Comment.)
