After speaking with Archie, he went to meet up with Betty about something, so I left to meet up with my sister and daughter at Pops. I'm currently sitting across from her whilst she was holding Odessa who was cooing. "So, you and Sweet Pea are officially together, finally?" Veronica asked, raising her eyebrows at me in a teasing manner. I giggled hearing my boyfriend's name and nod my head. "Yeah, we're officially together." I confirmed, and my sister smiled. "I'm glad, he might be a Serpent, but I approve. I haven't seen you this happy in a while." Veronica squeals excitedly, and I couldn't help but smile.
"He makes me the happiest girl on earth." I admit, smiling more. "Aww!" Veronica squealed, causing me to laugh. Pop Tate finally came around with my food. "Thank you, Pop." I said to him, and he smiled at me. "You're welcome, Miss. Brooke. How's the little bundle of joy doing?" Pop Tate asked, looking and smiling over at Odessa who continued to make cooing sounds. "She's been a little fussy lately but that's because I'm pretty sure she misses her Aunties that are back in New York. But she's a happy baby overall." I replied to him, and Pop Tate smiled widely.
"Aw, well, I'm glad Miss. Odessa is doing well." Pop Tate said to me as Odessa looked at Pop Tate and she smiled widely at him. Pop Tate then left to go assist other customers and I began eating my food. I heard my phone chime, causing me to flinch. I reached into my purse and pulled out my phone to check. I saw a few messages from Sweet Pea, Fangs and Toni and from our group chat that also has AJ in it. I saw a text from Jughead, and he was asking me for my help in something. Again. "Who is it, hermanita?" Veronica asks, raising an eyebrow at me. "Jughead. He needs my help with something. Is it okay if I go see what he wants after this? You can have Desi all to yourself." I told my sister.
Veronica nodded her head excitedly. "We always have fun, don't we Des?" Veronica asked my daughter, talking in a baby voice. I giggled when Odessa just coos in response. I continued eating my food as I replied back to Sweet Pea since I haven't talked to him since yesterday's incident with Archie. "How are you and Archibald doing? I hope he's treating you well still." I asked and said while eating my burger. Veronica smiled widely at the mention of Archie. "We're doing well. We're actually going on another date soon, probably on Friday. Hey! Why won't we go on a double date? I don't think Archie has met Sweet Pea, has he?"
I shook my head 'no' at her question whilst I chewed and swallowed my food. "No, he hasn't met Sweet Pea yet. But I'm down for a double date. I miss those. Let me speak with Sweet Pea and see what he says." I pointed out and Vernoica was already oh so excited now which made me laugh. I swallowed down my food and took a sip of my Milkshake. The doorbell chimed signaling someone has just walked in. I looked over at who walked in, my heart dropped to the pit of my stomach when seeing a guy that looked almost exactly like Dakota.
"What? Brooke, what's wrong?" Veronica questioned, turning her head to follow my gaze and her eyes widened and she looked back at me. "It's not him, hermanita. You can relax." Veronica reassured and I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding in. I leaned my back against the booth. "Brooke, you shouldn't be so scared." I gave my sister a look. "Veronica, he threatened to kill me. Of course, I'm scared still." I snapped at her, if she was me, she would be scared too. "I gotta go. You can order a to-go box for me. I need to meet up with Jughead." I said, not wanting to talk more about Dakota.
I got up from the booth and went over to my daughter to give her a kiss on the cheek and I did. I also gave one to Veronica before leaving to go find Jughead.

I called Jughead a few minutes ago wondering where he wanted to meet me, and he said to go to his trailer. So, that's where I'm currently waiting. I'm sitting on the little steps on the porch while waiting. I know I could be waiting with Sweet Pea or Toni but then I'm not gonna want to leave so I'm waiting at Jughead's trailer like he said to. "Brooke! Over here!" Jughead's voice filled my ears, I heard footsteps approaching the trailer and I quickly stood up as Jughead was at the bottom of the little steps.
"I didn't keep you waiting long, did I?" Jughead questioned and I shook my head 'no' as I walked down two steps. I followed Jughead to wherever we were going. "So, what do you need help with?" I ask this time, as we walked together. "Tallboy wants to parley so I'm meeting up with him. Well, we are going to meet up with him." Jughead explained and I made an "oh" face. "Okay, but I'm not understanding why you need me?"
Because you are scary. Tallboys scared of you and AJ. I gave Jughead a look. Scary? I dont think so. I disagreed, shaking my head at him and Jughead returned the look. Brooke, half the Serpents are scared of you. Jughead pointed out, and I hummed as I was a bit amused. So, you feel like if you bring me to your little meeting, hell cooperate? I raised an eyebrow at Jughead, and he nodded his head. Yes.
Okay, we will see if he does.

A small smirk appeared on my lips as I looked at Jughead. We walked over to his bike; he handed me his helmet and I put it on. Jughead started up the bike then I hopped on, wrapping my arms around his torso. Jughead started driving to wherever we were going; it didnt take too long to get there. I looked at the house and I hesitated a little in wanting to go in. Jughead parked in front of the house and turned off the bike. I got off of the bike and followed Jughead into the house.
I followed Jughead further down the steps, and we turned into what looked like the living room. I spotted Tallboy with a few other people, looking like they were talking. This place was flooding with clouds of cigarettes and weed. I made a face as the god awful smell filled my nose. Ive always hated the smell of weed, especially cigarettes. I despise cigarettes.
As we walked closer to Tallboy and the others, I noticed a slightly tall girl standing next to him with her arms crossed. Just from looking at her and her body language, I knew it was AJ and I was wondering what my best friend was doing over here. What the hell is she doing here?
Shes helping. Jughead replies, AJ saw me and walked over. What he said. Im guessing you were dragged over here too? I nodded my head at her. Yup. Apparently, Im scary.
You are! Jughead and Tallboy exclaimed, and I looked at the both of them. You put us two together in a room, we run the place babes.
True. I giggled. Sit down. Business to discuss.
I looked around for a place to sit but there wasnt a lot of room. Tallboy, what the hell is this? Where are we? Jughead asked the question Ive been asking myself ever since we got here. Youre in my house. Its the House of the Dead. A male voice said from behind me, a man with short, curly hair, brown eyes walked past me, shoving me a bit, causing me to bump into Jughead a bit who caught me by the waist as he was standing in front of us. The man had tanned skin, and he was kind of tall. He had an interesting choice of wardrobe
Watch where youre fucking going! I hissed, I shot him a glare as Jughead steadied me. The man giggled and smirked at me. This cute little thing is feisty. The man snickered, and I annoyedly rolled my eyes at him. That cute little thing will kick your ass, Malachai, if you dont watch yourself. Tallboy warned him, the man's name I now know is Malachai, just looked at me up and down and laughed. I dont think this small and adorable Kitten can defend herself.
I cringed at the nickname and continued to glare at him. This Kitten has claws and Im not afraid to use them. I huffed, obviously completely annoyed by him already. Well, Im sorry, who the hell are you? Jughead asked, looking at him. Thats Malachai, Juggie. AJ reminds Jughead, Jughead looked at AJ then back at Tallboy. Take it easy, Jughead.Malachai speaks for the Ghoulies. With the heat on us, and our ranks depleted. Our tribes need to reunite. And thats gonna be easier to do, if you, AJ and Brooke endorse this partnership.
Us? The 3 of us asked at the same time, growing confused. Jughead, youre FPs son, that carries weight, especially with our younger members. AJ, youre the goddaughter of FP and the enforcer, you help call the shots. And Brooke, you keep everyone calm and at bay, you keep a war from erupting and also everyone is scared of you, not just of AJ anymore. Tallboy tells us, and the 3 of us looked at each other and back at Tallboy.
Tallboy, theres the reason why Southside was even raided. Them and their Jingle-Jangle. Jughead comments, Im aware that Southside High was raided and a few Serpents were arrested today. Jughead blew up my phone earlier today texting me about it. I just didnt have a chance to answer. Chaos is how we thrive. You better get used to it. Malachai said to Jughead, AJ and I gave each other a look. Are you seriously going to do this to my Dad? Youre supposed to be his right hand.
Tallboy turned his head to look at Jughead. The Northside declared war today. Your old man aint here to call the shots. And, yeah, Im right-hand, that makes me de facto leader, here and now, sothings are changing now, Jones. Either you change with them or suffer the consequences.
I glanced at Malachai who just smirked and took a sip of his bottle of Vodka. I look to Jughead and AJ who are not too happy with Tallboy right now.
