TW: Angst
Day 1
I was walking the streets of London till I saw a beautiful garden beside me.
I went in and felt the breeze run through my hair as I take a deep breath.
"We meet again." I said
"Excuse me?" I heard a reply
I turned around to see a guy holding up a notebook as he writes down on it.
"I'm so sorry! I was talking to myself." I laugh
"It's fine. You just happen to startle me." He laughs and continues to write on his notebook
"Oh...are you a writer?" I asked
"A songwriter." He replied
"Interesting. Oh! I'm Y/n, by the way.."
"Heeseung.." he shakes my hand as we exchanged names
"You live here?" I asked
"No, only here for a month and two weeks. I'm traveling for this.." he said as he taps his notebook
"Why do you have to travel? Don't you just write stuff on paper?" I asked
"I get my inspirations through traveling."
"You do have a point.." I reply
"What about you?" He asked
"I live here..this is my favorite place to relax from all the drama at home." I said as he laughs

Heeseung and I have been talking for hours even till the sun went down.
"Favorite Disney Princess..Go!" I said
"Tiana!" We both yell
"Shut up!!" I said and he laughs
"That woman is amazing!" He said and we both share a laugh
"We should do this again sometime.." he said
"What about tomorrow? I could show you around at the same time."
"I don't mind. Same time?" He asked as he helped me get up from the ground
"See you then," I smiled
Day 2
I quickly dressed up and waited for the time to go to the garden.
"Should I go now? But, it's too early." I said
"But maybe he's already there waiting? But if I go there now, I'd look desperate.." I continue pacing back and forth
"Why would I think such a thing? I don't like him that way?? Fine, I'll just wait for 10 mins then I'll go!" I sit back as I look at the clock

"9 minutes and 47 seconds...48..49....." I counted
"OHMYGOSH it's about to be 2:00!! Just go already!!" My sister complained and I ran to the door
I ran as fast as I could to the garden then lo and behold he was already there waiting.
I fix myself before entering the gates.
"Hii!" I said as I stood beside him
"Shh!" He said as he closed his eyes
"Huh?" I was confused as he kept humming
"As the breeze swings through me, all I see is you and me, together dancing in harmony~"
"Ugh...would be..." he said as he taps his pen
"I wonder how would it be?" I said
"Yes, thank you!" He said and writes it down
"That's hard work." I said
"You got that right." He said
"Hey," he called
"Hmm?" I asked
"I forgot to ask for your number yesterday.." he said and hands me his phone
"So that if we meet up again I could just message you.." he said awkwardly
Day 6 (yeppeoseoooo~)
Everyday, Heeseung and I started meeting in the garden every 2:00 pm.
After that we would walk around the streets and try out new things.
I also would take him to places that would give him inspirations.
I can't help but smile as he looked at the views with awe.
I enjoy spending time with him.
"You have amazing songs!" I said as I listened to every track
"Thanks. I'm actually auditioning for a group next month after I'm done here."
"That's incredible! I know you're going to be a great singer someday." I said
"Thanks!" He smiled
Day 15
Heeseung and I have been enjoying our time together.
We were inseparable. Even people started to think we were a couple.
But the thing is, the past few days he's been acting weird.
We'd get awkward when we accidentally touch hands and we could barely look at each other in the eye now.
Day 17
Heeseung suddenly called me at night and said we would meet at the garden.
I finally arrive and met up with Heeseung on a bench.
"Walk with me" he said
"Why are we here in the middle of the night?"
"I just wanted to see you.." he said and it made me blush
"Yknow what! You have been acting weird lately did you eat something?"
"What do you mean?" He was confused
"Like this? 'I just wanted to see you' or being awkward with me or you can't even look at me in the eye when we talk. What's going o-"
I felt his lips onto mine.
He lets go for a second before I pull him back for another.
"Now I understand..." I said
"Does that mean you like me back?" He asked
"If I didn't kiss you back and ran away from you, do you think I'd still like you?"
"So, we're a couple?" He wraps his hands around my waist
"If you want it that way?" I said and wrapped my arms around his neck them giving him another kiss
Day 30
I have been enjoying my time with my new boyfriend.
Thinking about nothing and just making fond memories together.
After so many dates, it feels like I've known him for years now.
He takes me to this bridge with a beautiful view of the moon.
"I haven't heard about this place!" I said
"Well, that means you're a bad tour guide."
"Heyy!" I punch his shoulder lightly
He chuckles and lets out a sigh.
"What?" I smile
He brushes a strand of hair to the side of my face and smiles.
"I can't help but fall in love with you day by day.." he said
"You...love me?" I asked
"I said that?" He realizes and backs up
"YOU LOVE ME!!"
"Wait! You were supposed to say it first!"
"You looOOovee meeee!!" I yell with excitement
"Oh no..the teasing won't stop now.."
"Hahahahaha! I'm just messing with you. I love you too." I said as I hugged him tightly
"You do?"
"Yeah! Why wouldn't I?" I said and he gives me a kiss
"Oh wait...look at the time." He said
"It's 12 AM..?"
"Happy 1 month!" He said and gives me another kiss
Day 7
Heeseung has been ignoring my calls lately..
He doesn't even reply to my messages.
He just gives me short replies instead like
"I'm busy right now.."
"Sorry can't talk right now."
What's he up too? Why is he avoiding me?
"Why did you stop drinking your medication?" My mom asks
"I feel better from the past few days... don't worry ma! Once it triggers, I will drink the medicine immediately." I said
"Okay, take care of yourself, dear." She said and leave the house
Day 12
I finally got him to meet up with me.
Same as before, the garden.
"Where have you been?" I asked
"I've been busy with work.." he said
"That doesn't mean you could just give me short replies and not acknowledge my existence??"
"Please, just understand me, darling. I'm sorry if you feel that way."
"Heeseung, I'm your g/bfriend! I'm not some toy you could play for a while and leave it for another time?!"
Droplets started falling down from the sky as we continued to argue.
We were soaking wet but we didn't care about it. All I wanted was an answer.
"Y/n, I am trying my hardest to be with you at the same time to work!"
"I'm trying to understand but I don't have much time to see you again.." I cry
"What do you mean...?" He asked
"You only have four days till you get back home..."
"No..no..no! I can fix this..I could ask them for an extension."
"No, baby. We never thought about the consequences now we must suffer them." I place my palm on his face
"This can't be.." he bows his head
"Why don't you just quit your job and live with me?" I held his hand
"Excuse me?" He looks at me
"I mean, nothing could go wrong and the best part you get to be here with me."
"Y/n, that's what you think?? I have a life there at my hometown!"
"You'd rather work for your whole life than spend your life with me??"
"Come live with me instead? I have an apartment just the two of us." I said
I stop for a moment and looked at him.
"I can't..I can't leave this place."
"Why what's so wrong about my life?"
There's nothing wrong with you..
"Hee, it's not about you.."
"Then tell me why??" He asked
I can't...I don't want you to worry about me.
"I just don't want to leave this place!"
"Y/n!! This isn't all about you! I would've been at home achieving my dreams if it weren't for you ruining it!!" He said without hesitation
I slapped his face as he said those words right in front of me.
"Then it's official, we're done." I said and left
My body felt weak and I couldn't stop coughing. That was when I knew, I was starting to get sick again.
Day 14
Heeseung never called back nor came to find me.
I started getting sick and all my symptoms started acting up again.
I miss Heeseung so much.
"If they didn't stop drinking their medications, it wouldn't be this difficult for them. It's a miracle they survived the faint. I'm glad it's not contagious." The doctor said talking to my mother
"I don't think s/he'd be able to survive until 2 months. But there is a way but I'm not sure they could survive after. It's a rare condition and only 2% of people have this kind of disease." They continued
My heart started to break as I started crying knowing that I won't be able to see him again.
My mom comes in with tears in her eyes.
"There's no way to cure me?" I asked
"I'm so sorry, sweetie. We'll try our best to help. I'm sure there's a way." She holds my hand
After 1 month
My mother turns the TV on as I ate my breakfast.
A familiar voice started singing..
"Kpop groups are so popular these days."
I look and my eyes widened..
"It's Heeseung!!!" I yell
"Your ex boyfriend????" She asks as she looks at the TV
"He's finally on TV!! I can't believe it!!" I said and realize
"He finally achieved his dreams.." I smiled
I looked up to my mom with tears in my eyes..
"Mom?"
"Yes, dear?" She asks
"Please, don't tell Heeseung about me. I don't want him to be worried." I said even though I knew he wouldn't look for me
My mother looks at me and smiles replying with a yes.
I look back at the TV and saw him on screen.
"Engenes! We will be having a tour by the end of the month in London. So, don't forget to check us out!" He smiles
"Oh dear.." my mother takes the remote and turns it off
"It's okay..he doesn't know I'm sick." I said
Heeseung's POV
End of the week
"Ahhh London! Hyung, isn't this where your first love lives?" Jake said as he looks out of the van
"Yeah.." I said hoping to see them again
I pick up my phone and tried calling them but their number was unavailable.
"Maybe s/he changed it." I said
We suddenly pass by a familiar place.
"Wait! Can we stop here for a second???"

"Wowww! This place is amazing!!" Jay said
"I'm like in a fairytale." Sunoo smiles as he spins around
"Yeah and you'd be the ogre of the story." Ni-ki laughs
Sunghoon notices my glances.
"Hyung, looking for something?"
"Uhmm...never mind. Guys, let's go?" I said and everyone followed

We finally arrived at our hotel and everyone took a nap.
I quickly get up and asked our manager if I could stop by somewhere.
Our manager agreed unless he came with me. So, we drove to y/n's house.
I took a deep breath before knocking on the door three times.
It took a second till someone opened the door.
"Yes?"
She looks just like them...
She must be their sister.
"Is Y/n L/n around here?"
"Oh..s/he's in the hospital right now.." they reply
My heart started beating rapidly
"What??? Is s/he okay? Which hospital???"
"Right around the corner, Sir." She said
"Thank you!" I said and quickly got in the car

"I'm visiting for Y/n L/n?"
"S/he's in room 206, Sir."
"Thank you." I said and ran to the room
I knocked on the door and a woman opens it.
"Ye- Oh! Heeseung...?"
"Mrs. L/n, is s/he in there?"
"How did you know.."
"I went to your house earlier.."
"Come in," she said
I walk inside and saw them laying on a hospital bed, sleeping peacefully.
They looked fragile and famished. I couldn't help but tear up.
I walk towards them and held their hand.
"Hi, Love. I came back to see you again."
Their eyes open up and I let out a smile.
"Heeseung?" Their voice was shaking
"Yes, it's me..." I cry as I held their hand tight
"You look amazing!" They smile
"You still look beautiful as ever.." I said
"Oh, stop that. I look like a mess." They laugh
I sobbed as they look at me with worry.
"Why didn't you tell me you were hurting?" I said
"I couldn't tell you knowing you were leaving.."
"If you told me, I would've stayed with you.."
"It's too late, Hee. At least you're a great singer now just like I said before..I'm very proud of you." S/he said placing a palm on my cheek
"I should have gone back for you. I regret everything that I said to you that day. I have never stopped loving you, Y/n." I said
"Ditto.." s/he smiled
I give them a big kiss as I sat back on the chair.
"I won't leave you again. I promise to take care of you for the rest of my life."
Their smile turns into a frown.
"I don't think it's possible, my love." S/he said
"What do you mean??" I said
"I don't have much time left." A tear dropped in their face
"W-what.."
Y/n explains to me that they have this disease that wouldn't cure them even if they took tons of medication. S/he'll try for the surgery today but there's only a little chance if they would survive.
"So, if the surgery doesn't go well..then I'll only have 11 hours left to live. But I feel satisfied cause I get to see you again."
"No..no..no! You can't leave!" I cry
"It's too late for you to say that. There's no other way." They smile

It took us an hour from crying, it was just like before..
I couldn't look at them in the eye properly..but it had a different meaning to it now.
They finally calmed me down by asking me questions and how I was.
We spent hours just talking as we held hands not wanting to let go.
"Oh! Have you finished the song?" S/he asked
"I finished when I arrived at Korea. I used it for my audition..that's how I got in!"
"That's wonderful, Hee! I always wanted to hear it." They said
"The song's all about you..I'll play it for you at the concert." I said
"Can't wait to hear it." They smile
The door suddenly opens and there were a bunch of nurses.
"We're here to take Mr./Ms. L/n for their surgery."
"Well, that's me!" They said
Even if they were in this state, s/he's still ecstatic as ever.
"Sir, we must go as well. We still have rehearsal for the concert." My manager calls me
"I can't leave now..."
"No, Hee. Your fans are waiting for you now." Y/n said
"I don't want to leave you again like what I did last time!" I said
"Love, I don't want you to focus on a dying person and leave millions of fans behind. This is your dream like you told me before. I don't want you to put that in to waste." They said as they held my hand
"Do it for me, okay? You're gonna be amazing!" They smiled
"Can I at least see you off?" I asked
My manager agreed and I watched them till the moment they took them to the operating room.

During our rehearsal, I kept pacing back and forth hoping their surgery was successful.
"Please be okay..."
It felt like hours till I received a phone call from their mother.
"Hello?" I said as I hear cries from the other line
"S/he couldn't make it." She said
My knees weakened as tears started to fall again.
The members noticed me as they all run towards me.
"What's wrong, hyung?" Jay asked
I fell into my knees sobbing as they give me a pat in the back.
"We're so sorry, hyung..." they said
.
"I have to do this...for them..." I said as I stepped on stage bringing my guitar
"Hello, Engene! I am so glad to be with you all in this special night."
"This song goes out to my first love..my starlight, my Evangeline."
"This title is called I never stopped loving you"
I started singing my heart out, stopping myself from crying.
"I can't help but fall in love with you day by day.
But even if I'm far away, I always knew,
That I have never stopped loving you." I sang
I continue singing as tears started to fall down on my cheek.
I couldn't have done this without them.
"I love you so much, good bye~" I end the song as everyone started clapping and cheering
