The water was cold but in a nice and refreshing way. Rafe held me with his hands on my butt and my legs wrapped around me and it was perfect. Just us two, the ocean and the moonlight. It felt and seemed like a dream to me. But no, it was reality, I was here with my boyfriend who treated me like I was the only girl in the world.
I saw a few fish and they were so cute. I pointed at them
"Rafe look how cute," I squealed, he didn't look though. He was looking at me, fascinated, he was just staring at my gaze and smiling. I wonder what his thoughts were. What he was thinking about.
He chuckled and softly grabbed my chin with his thumb, bringing it to him. He pulled me in for a kiss, and for a while, it was just like that. Us two kissing under the stars and the moonlight. It was dark but I wasn't afraid, he made me feel safe. He was like my protector in all moments.
His touch made me feel like I would kill for him, I would seriously do anything for him. He continued kissing me and oh my god he was such a good kisser. I put my hands in his hair and he smiled in the kiss.
He held me up with one hand while the other traveled to my waist. He held me closer to him and deepened the kiss. I felt like at that moment I was fully under his control. He could've asked me to do anything and I would've done it. At the same time, I knew he felt the same way which made me even happier.
I broke the kiss and chuckled.
"You're it for me, Lillian, you're the one," Rafe told me and I just looked him in the eyes deeply, those words echoing in my head. I was almost seventeen and Rafe was nineteen, was it possible to be so young and have found your person? Because I felt the same way Rafe did, he was the one. I kissed him deeply and he smiled in the kiss.
"Let's go back to the boat yeah?" Rafe told me and I nodded.
He helped me up with his hand supporting my lower back the whole time. He took a towel and wrapped it around me so delicately, he hugged me from the back and stood close to me.
"Have I told you you're so beautiful?" he asked me and I nodded. "Well, let me re-say it just in case you didn't hear. You are the most beautiful woman on this planet, your eyes, your hair, your body your personality. And the best part is that all this is all mine." He said with a slight grin on his face which kind of turned me on.
"All. Yours" I told him with a pause between the two words. I could see his look change and I could tell what he had in mind.
TW: Slight Smut (Very Little)
He kissed me and picked me up quickly, not breaking the kiss. He brought us to a bedroom and laid me down on the bed, he was on top of me and he kept kissing me, first on the lips and then he made his way to my neck, then collarbone then chest.
Every kiss he gave me left a mark on me, both literally and metaphorically speaking, he was marking me as his and I loved it. He put his hands on the hem of my bikini top and glanced back at me.
"Do you want to or not?" he asked for my approval.
"Yeah," I said with a chuckle which made him tilt his head back.
He carefully took my bikini top off and started kissing me there. I pulled on his swim shorts so that he knew what I wanted him to do and he smiled and took them off. He made his way down to my bottoms and pulled them down my legs.
Smut Ended
The next morning I woke up still on the boat. It took me a few minutes to realize where I was and what happened yesterday. Just thinking about it gave me butterflies, when he asked me to be his girlfriend, the ring, the flowers, the dance, the bathing suit, when we went swimming, and then our time together in the bedroom.
It had been such a dream. The last part of the evening had been so good, it's a weird thing to say but he was so good. I was so attracted to him it was scary. Before we went to bed he gave me one of his old shirts and some shorts, they were both huge on me but wearing his clothes gave me butterflies.
I realized Rafe wasn't next to me so I stood up and looked for him. I hear whistling come from the kitchen so I went there and saw Rafe making waffles for us.
"Hey," I said teasingly and he immediately turned around, as he saw me a smile popped on his face.
"Hey, beautiful, did you sleep well?" he asked me as he placed a kiss on my lips.
"Super well," I answered and he smiled. I sat down on the table and he took the waffle out of the machine and put it on my plate. He added strawberries and a little bit of chocolate and placed my plate in front of me.
"Thank you," I said and he smiled. He sat down in front of me, I tasted the waffle and it was delicious. "My man can cook," I said and he looked proud, but I think he was mainly proud at the fact that I called him my man than the fact that I complimented his cooking.
"Rafe, thank you for last night, it was," I said and started thinking again of all the things we did. "dreamy," I added and he leaned forward to kiss me.
"You're my dream, Lil, I can't believe you're actually mine." Rafe said glancing at me.
"Well start believing because I'm not going anywhere," I said and he believed it, I could tell he did.
"The last part was my favorite," Rafe told me and I laughed at him.
"Wow, real romantic Rafe," I said sarcastically. "But yeah it was great," I said thinking back at that part.
We finished breakfast and Rafe drove the boat back to the port. We were in the car and he was driving.
"We should tell Sarah since we're actually together now." I told him and got anxious just at the thought. I started fidgeting with my hands to get the anxiety out of my body, and Rafe immediately noticed.
"Baby, don't worry, she'll be fine with it. She's been your best friend since you were born. Just breathe and don't overthink it okay?" he told me and I smiled at his words.
We got to the Cameron's and I decided to just get it over with. I told Rafe to stay in his room and I would call him later to update him. He gave me a kiss and repeated what he had said in the car before going to his room.
I knocked on Sarah's door and she opened it yawning. "Hey stranger," she said sarcastically and I fake laughed, I was too stressed to laugh.
Of course, Sarah noticed that.
"Lil, is everything okay?" she asked concerned.
"Yeah, everything is okay. But um I have something to tell you." I said and she could notice I was getting close to a panic attack.
"Lil, relax, what do you want to tell me?" Sarah asked while holding my hands to calm me down.
"I'm dating your brother!" I said fast and I was relieved to have let it out.
"Oh," she said, processing the information quietly. "Is that it?" she said chuckling.
"Sar, did you hear me? I'm dating your brother. Rafe is my boyfriend." I said confused as to why she wasn't mad. "Aren't you mad?" I asked and she took a deep breath.
"Am I happy that you're dating my brother? No, but that's just because he isn't good enough for you. Am I surprised? Very much so because I thought you hated him with your whole heart. Am I happy for you? Yes, as long as you promise me that he treats you right and that you're happy." She said and I smiled at her. She pulled me into a hug, "Thanks Sar, I love you" I told her. "I love you too Lil," She answered which made me smile.
How did I think that she was going to let a boy ruin our friendship?
"Lil? Who knows about you and Rafe?" Sarah asked me which caught me by surprise.
"You, Topper, my parents, and Pope," I told her and she nodded.
"I don't think you should tell Jj or John B yet," Sarah told me and I crossed my eyes as I was confused.
"Why?"
"Well, Jj has liked you since you joined the pogues, and considering that it's Rafe, he would react terribly. If John B knew he would tell Jj for sure." She told me and I nodded.
"I don't want to lie to them though, not telling you has made me feel so guilty you don't understand." I told her.
"I get that Lil, but just don't tell them quite yet," She said, to be fair she had a point.
"How far is it though? Do you love him, have you done anything? But please spare me details, it's my brother. For how long has this been going on?" she asked me curiously.
Yay, finally some girl talk about boys.
"It's been official since last night but it started the day of the party when Dylan tried to sleep with me. We did it once, last night, and-" I said before Sarah interrupted me. "Ew,"
"Sorry! I forgot it's your brother and yeah, I mean I don't know, I'm definitely falling in love with him but it's too early. He's different from everyone else, he makes me feel things I've never felt before, he makes me laugh, he treats me so well, I really think he's my person. When I hang out with him I'm not scared of anything, he feels like home and that's a feeling I've only ever had with you."
I told her, I wasn't thinking about anything else, just Rafe.
"You do remember he's an addict right?" Sarah said which pissed me off. It may not look like that from the outside but he's much more than that. "Sarah, there's much more to that that you don't know," I said and she nodded, surprised by my words.
"I'm going to go home now," I told her and she nodded.
On my way out I went to Rafe's room and said how things went and he was really happy. I said goodbye to him and went home.
My parents were a little mad that I wasn't home for the night but they told me that it was fine for today because Rafe had told them that we weren't going to be back due to a problem on the boat.
Thank god he covered for me, every time I stayed with a boy overnight they would give me 'the talk' but this time they didn't. I went to my room and stayed on my bed smiling in my pillow. I had a boyfriend and his name was Rafe Cameron. If the Lillian from a month ago would've heard these words she would've been flabbergasted. But they were true. I was so happy.
