Bella's POV
The girls and I were eating lunch with Chase. Well they were eating, I had my head on my arms and was sleeping, while Chase ranted about meatballs
"Does that girl ever not sleep" Chase asked Logan who had walked up behind me
"It doesn't matter how much she sleeps at night she is taking at least one nap during the day" I felt my body shift as Logan stuck his hoodie under my head as a pillow
I squinted up at him "thanks Logs" I muttered my voice thick with sleep. I felt him sit next to me and he started playing with my hair, subconsciously my body shifted closer to his
I was in a deep sleep, when Quinn walked up to our table, sitting next to Chase. She began to ramble on and on about some science thing, when she suddenly stopped talking. The girls all looked at her confused, before they turned and found the source of her quietness. Quinn Pensky was staring at a guy.
I felt my body being shoved around and I jolted up to see both of the boys gone and the girls all looking at me
"Come on Bells we gotta do something, we'll explain later" they didn't give me any time to process what was going on before they sprinted off. I stood up, grabbed Logan's hoodie and sprinted after them. Come to find out the reason for the disturbance of my sleep was because Quinn wanted to go on a date with a boy named Mark. So I guess our mission now was to help Quinn get the courage to ask him out
Currently we had Quinn practice asking Chase out, so she could get some experience. We didn't want to throw the girl in the lions den. And let's just say it is not going well, she keeps asking uncomfortable questions and getting extremely close to Chase, who I don't think has ever been more weirded out in his entire life. I physically could not take anymore, so I whispered to Zoey that I was going to go play basketball and to come find me if they needed me. She didn't blame me for leaving, and told me that she would come find me and update me later.
"Well, well, well fancy seeing you here" I teased Logan as I saw him shooting hoops once I got to the court
"Oh my gosh, do my eyes deceive me or is that the Bella Parker" he teased back
"In the flesh" I motioned for him to pass me the ball, and I shot an insane 3 pointer once he did
"Nice hoodie by the way Bells" I looked down to the hoodie I was wearing, only to realize it was the one he gave me earlier. I don't even remember putting it on
"You're not getting this one back"
"I didn't expect to, although I am almost out of clothes, so could I have some back soon?" he questioned hopefully
"I'll think about it" I told him, before stealing the ball out of his hands that he had just recovered. He gave me a giant smile as we began to play a game of one on one
We were in the middle of our very intense game, when Zoey came running up severely out of breath
"Whoa you good Zo" I asked her looking nervously at Logan, who just shrugged at me
"We have a problem" I just raised my eyes at her waiting for her to continue
"Somehow Quinn convinced me to ask out Mark for her, but when I did he said no. But Quinn looked so happy so I told her, he said yes and now she thinks they're going on a date when they're not. So I talked to Chase about it and we came up with a plan to have a double date. And I told Quinn about it, and she was cool with it. But I need your help" She finished barely having any breath left
I just stood there shocked, taking in all the information that she just said "what do you need my help with"
"I need you to come on the fake double date" Zoey told me after taking many deep breaths
"You want me to fifth wheel?" I asked highly confused
"No I need you and Logan to come, to make it less awkward" she looked between me and Logan basically pleading for us to agree
I looked at Logan to see what he thought "I'm in" he said nonchalantly which I was kind of shocked about
"Alright I'm in" I agreed, Zoey let out another deep breath before running off to who knows where
I turned towards Logan who had a giant smirk on his face. I raised an eyebrow at him confused on what has him so happy "what's got you so happy"
"It's our first date Bells" he stated like it was common knowledge and like this date wasn't fake
"Our first date is not gonna be a fake triple date" I told him looking at him like he was insane
"Oh so you want to go on a date with me" He cockily asked
"I've got a date to get ready for" I ignored his question and started walking off towards my dorm
"Bells" I heard Logan yell as I was walking away and I just laughed at the desperation in his voice
It was a couple hours later and Zoey and I were sitting on a bench with Quinn, who looked like she could puke at any moment
"Quinn it's going to be fine" Zoey tried to calm the nearly shaking girl
"What if it's awkward? What if I say the wrong thing? What if he doesn't like me?" Quinn started spewing out all of these random questions, my brain could barely keep up
"That's why we are here, if it gets awkward we'll take over" I told her reassuringly, luckily it worked and she took a deep breath and started to calm down
"Alright there are the boys, it's now or never. Quinn you ready" Zoey asked looking at Quinn who nervously nodded, we all got up and began making our way towards the boys
I walked up to Logan who stuck his hand out for me to take. I gave him a big smile as I grabbed his hand, feeling him pull me closer "You look beautiful" he leaned down and whispered in my ear
I looked up at him like was crazy "I'm in a pair of jeans and one of your t-shirts" I whispered back, confused on how I look beautiful
"And you still take my breath away" Logan told me before turning his attention to whatever Chase was saying, as I sat there my heart racing at what he just said
We all made our way to patch of grass where we started to set up our picnic. I took a seat next to Logan, Zoey and Chase on the other side of me. Quinn and Mark were sat across from us, Mark not looking interested in this "date" whatsoever. I felt really bad for Quinn but rejection sucks so none of us wanted to hurt her
Chase began to pour sparkling juice, he gave a cup to Mark which caused Quinn to think they were going to share. But instead Mark chugged the whole thing, causing us all to look at each other nervously
"Can you pour me a glass Mark" Quinn asked him in what I guess she thought was a flirtatious voice but was actually far from it
Mark looked at her confused but agreed nevertheless "here you go Clint" he said handing Quinn the drink
"Quinn" Zoey and Chase both muttered
"Did you just call me Clint" Quinn looked very confused
"No, he didn't" Zoey tried to cover up the mistake but Mark was not helping the case
"Yes I did" He looked at us like we were crazy. I turned and buried my head in Logan's chest as I tried to hide my laughter at the uncomfortable scene unfolding before us. He placed his lips against my head, trying to fight his smile that I could feel once he rested his head against mine
"Who wants potato salad" Chase asked changing the conversation trying to ease the awkwardness
After a very awkward picnic, we all got up and made our way to the movies. Quinn and Mark were behind us, so we took this as our opportunity to talk about the date
"How do you think it's going" Zoey whispered looking at all of us
"Well the picnic was rough, but once we get the movies it's two hours of silence" Chase whispered back, all of us nodding our heads in agreement
We all turned to look at Mark and Quinn only to find Quinn trying to hold hands with a very uninterested Mark. I turned towards Logan with an exasperated look on my face
"I hate you for getting us into this. This is torture" I whisper complained to him, making sure to keep my voice down
"I'll make it up to you later I promise" He looked down at me as he talked. I was about to ask him how, when a girl walked up yelling at Mark. I looked at Logan shocked and confused, him looking at me with the same look on his face
"Excuse me" random girl yelled very angrily
"Courtney" Mark said nervously
"Courtney?" We all muttered looking at each other desperately
"Who's Courtney" Quinn looked at us all confused
"His girlfriend" she angrily spoke, causing us all to freeze
Logan and I looked at each other at the same time, a smirk trying to fight it's way onto our face. He pulled me into his chest, knowing I would break before he did
The next thing I know Mark is being hit by both Courtney and Quinn by a giant stick of salami. Once they both stormed off I finally let out the laugh I was holding in. Mark looked at me with a very upset look on his face
"I'm sorry Mark but that was so funny" he apparently didn't think it was funny because he stormed off in the same direction that Quinn did. The four of us all looked at each other and died laughing before deciding to go get some sushi
"How do you think the rest of the night went" Chase asked as we were all eating our sushi
"Mark stormed off in the same direction as Quinn, so I think they'll be okay" I answered before putting a piece of sushi in my mouth.
And boy was I right, when Zoey and I got back to our dorm we saw Mark and Quinn cuddled up on the couch in the lounge, we looked at each other in utter shock. I took a quick picture before we quietly ran off, making sure not to disturb them
