I hate writing Bakugo's name because it keeps on changing it to Bakuhoe 😭

————

At lunch, you sat with Midoriya and Uraraka as you had promised yesterday. It seemed like they really enjoyed your company, because they began glowing when you took a seat with them. It was only after Iida spoke up that you found out that both of them thought you were really cool and mature. You gave off an adult vibe and that made them feel drawn towards you.

Needless to say, you were extremely flattered.

But the real fun was to begin after lunch break. Aizawa stood at the front of the class as he spoke, "Today's Heroics Class will be overseen by me, All Might and another teacher." Upon hearing that three teachers would be involved, you all were rather excited.

"Sensei, what exactly will we be doing?" At that question, Aizawa pulled out a card that had 'Rescue' written on it.

"Shipwrecks, natural disasters, fires, all that, will be covered in today's exercise. We'll be leaving by bus-" The ravenette teacher was in the middle of explaining when the entire class erupted in chatters.

"Yeah! Rescue is so fun!!"

"My quirk is practically built for rescue!"

"No one can beat me in water, kero."

"I'm not done yet!" Aizawa's voice boomed throughout the class and everyone immediately quieted down. The said male let out a sigh before starting again, "As I was saying... You guys will be partaking in several exercises, so it's your choice if you want to wear your hero costume or not. Because many of you still haven't gotten used to it."

But despite that, almost everyone wore their costumes. Perhaps it was the excitement of your newly obtained costumes, but it was still fun to wear. And if you're going to have rescue training, why not take your first aid kit?

The only one who didn't wear their costume was Midoriya and that was also because his costume was half destroyed in his fight against Bakugo. But he didn't seem that perturbed by it, so that was fine. When the time came to board the bus, Iida went full-on conductor mode and made two rows, filtering the students according to their students numbers.

Only to find out that the bus didn't even have that setting...

You walked through the bus and saw an empty spot next to Jiro, "Hey, do you mind if I sit here?" She smiled and motioned you over with her head, "Go ahead." You smiled and seated yourself beside her.

Once everyone was seated, the bus began its way out the school, and everyone engaged themselves in a conversation, "Midoriya-kun, I'll be honest with you." Tsu suddenly began and you raised an eyebrow.

"W-What is it, Asui-san?"

"Call me Tsu."

"Y-Yes!!"

It was then that Tsu started, "Your quirk is a lot like All Might's, right?" Midoriya began to sweat and stammer at an alarming rate and you decided that maybe he was just nervous by how Tsu was creepily staring in his soul.

But before you could interject and save Midoriya, Kirishima jumped in, "Hold on, Asui! All Might doesn't break his bones everytime he uses his quirk!"

"Yeah, and Midoriya-san kinda... glows when he uses his quirk. I don't think All Might glows, well, if we take out his glowing grin." Everyone giggled at the little joke and Midoriya looked at you like you and Kirishima like were his saviors.

"But man, I sure am envious... Your quirk is not only strong but it's so flashy!" Kirishima spoke up as he showed his hardened arm, "Mine is strong too but it's nowhere near flashy!"

"No way, it's amazing!!" Midoriya added and you nodded at the back, "Yeah, Kirishima-san! Flashiness will only get you so far, it's the personality of a person and their skills that really matter!" The said shark boy only blushed under your praise.

You immediately thought of the two strongest of your class, Bakugo and Todoroki.

Both had amazing quirks, yet their angry and/or standoffish personalities were a huge killjoy, "If we're talking about flashy and strong quirks, then the ones in our class are Bakugo and Todoroki." Kirishima added and you heard the sparkly French kid speak up about how his own quirk was the epitome of flashiness and strength.

What was his quirk again? Something to do with his bellybutton...

"But with Bakugo's personality, I doubt he'd be that famous." As soon as Tsu uttered those words, the raging teen of your class screamed in all his angsty teen anger.

"What the fuck did you just say, you frog bitch?!" Tsu pointed at him, "See what I mean?"

"I totally get it, Tsu-chan. I'm sure listening to Bakugo is about as amusing as having your legs amputated." You swore you heard a snort from the front where Aizawa sat.

"Hah?! You got something to say, fucking bitch?!" You shot him an unamused look, "With how much you're constantly asking us what we're saying, you're either extremely deaf or you have a degrading kink. Choose your struggle, buddy." He continued to rage on and everyone was trying their very hardest not to cackle like a bunch of maniacs.

"We may have only known you for a little while, but we all know your personality is a pile of flaming shit strewn in the sewers." The blonde with a lighting bolt landed the finishing blow and Bakugo was practically screaming the roof of the bus off.

"What the hell is that vocabulary, you fucker?! I'll make you regret the day you were born!!" But his raging sessions were put to a halt when Aizawa announced that you all had arrived at the destination.

"Woah... Is this Universals Studios Japan?" Kirishima asked and you looked at the building with fascination, "Hello, everyone!"

"Oh, my God!! It's the pro-hero Thirteen!"

"I love Thirteen!!" Uraraka squealed and you smiled at how cute she and Midoriya looked as they fangirled and fanboyed over Thirteen.

Both Aizawa and Thirteen whispered to each other and you saw her raising her three fingers to show Aizawa but none of you could hear what they were talking about. Also, isn't All Might also supposed to be here? Is he late?

For whatever reason, the two other teachers ignored his absence and Thirteen actually then proceeded to give an entire speech on how quirks were amazing for protection but at the same time, they were absolute weapons of destruction and murder if used in the wrong way. Many of your classmates agreed and you wondered if you could use your quirk to kill someone?

Hmm, maybe after you've blinded your enemy, you can stab them? Or turn yourself invisible and then stab them?

Wait! You're becoming a hero, why are you even thinking of this stuff?! But, should there come a time when you have to take the life of another person, you knew you would have to abandon your morals to ensure the safety of you or the people you would protect.

"That is all! Let's all do our best. Plus Ultra!!" She finished her speech with the school's motto (now that you think about it, Fumiko was right... it really is cringy).

Just then, a purple portal entered your vision and Kirishima looked over at it, "What's that?"

Several people, dressed rather interestingly stepped out of that mist and so did a bird-like creature with an exposed brain and an extremely buff body.

"Oh, has the training already started?" Aizawa's eyes widened in horror as he realised the reality of the situation.

"Don't move!!" He yelled and you all froze on spot, "Those are real villains."

What?! Real villains?! What happened to security?! Is it really that easy to get into UA?

First, the reporters, now villains!! What's next, your dead mother?!

"What?! But what about the security alarms?!" Momo asked Thirteen as she trailed off, "We have them, but..."

"Kaminari, try using your quirk to contact the school!" The said blonde placed a hand on his earpiece and tried to follow Aizawa's orders when you spotted something eerie, "That guy with blue hair... Does he have hands all over his body?! Just a bunch of amputated hands?!" Uraraka, who was by your side, squeaked in fear and you felt yourself getting sick.

"Thirteen, protect the kids. We're completely cut off from the school, we need to get them to safety immediately." The said heroine nodded as she began to usher all of you towards the exit, but then the blue haired villain's eyes widened in horror and he raised a finger in your direction.

"You... What are you... doing with those filthy heroes?!" He glowered loudly and you couldn't help but feel like he was talking to you. But no way is that possible, right? You've never seen that man in your entire life! How could-

"You... You lied!! You said you wanted to destroy the world but here you are, playing hero?!" He spat his words out with such fervor, that even Aizawa felt uncomfortable.

"W-Who is he talking to?" Uraraka spoke up, her voice barely above a whisper but then the hand man began screaming in anger, "First, All Might isn't here!! And now, you joined those heroes?! This day is just the worse!!" He stopped midway, as if he had just received an epiphany.

"Wait... Could it be... that you were forced to be here? That has to be it!! You must have been forced to adhere to those fake hero ideals!!" He turned to the purple fog and laughed maniacally.

"We'll save you! I'll take you back, and you will be free!! Don't worry, then you can achieve your dreams with me!!" No one knew who he was talking to but Aizawa was no longer having any of it. He let out a grumble before walking over to the railing, "Thirteen, take them. I don't care what he's saying, those kids need to get to safety." Thirteen nodded and was about to lead you all away when Midoirya rushed over to Aizawa, "Sensei, will you be okay?! Your fighting style isn't suited for this!"

The older male simply turned to the greenette and gave him a confident look as he slid on his signature goggles, "You can't be a pro if you only have one trick." And he jumped over the railing to the crowd of villains.

Meanwhile, Thirteen ordered you all to run. In midst of the fear, you didn't even think, your legs just acted on their own. But you all soon realised that your path was blocked by the purple portal.

The purple mist that led every single villain in here addressed you all, "Please excuse us. We are the League of Villains. It may be presumptuous of us, but we have come here... to kill All Might." His words made you all stop breathing.

"But seeing how he is not present, it seems we have no choice but to kill you all-" He didn't even finish his sentence when Bakugo and Kirishima had suddenly leapt at him and tried to attack him.

But unfortunately, he dodged, "Oh, my... Careful now, that's quite dangerous." His tone was almost mocking but you noticed that he had a certain edge to it. As if it really was dangerous. Which shouldn't be possible for a mist like him unless-

"You think we're just gonna let you kill All Might?! I'll fucking blow you to bits!!" For once, you were glad that Bakugo had his crazy cursing habits because you didn't like the prospect of anyone being polite with these asshole-ish villains.

"Well, there's no doubt. All of you are the golden eggs of future heroes... I suppose we will just have to nip the evil in its bud." He then began to use his fog-like quirk and before any of you could even react-even Thirteen-you all were scattered in different areas.

————

You weren't unconscious.

You knew that because you could feel the fear that pumped through your veins, forcing you to stay awake even when you had hit the ground, head-first.

Yet, the fear of the situation you were in right now numbed all the pain your body was in. Your body had switched to its fight-or-flight response.

And you wanted nothing more but to run away...

The blue haired male from before squatted to your level, an amused and almost sickeningly adoring look in his eyes, "You poor thing... You must have been so traumatized by those stupid heroes... When all you wanted was to destroy this world..." You could feel your own tears slowly brimming in your eyes, you're sure the villain noticed it too.

Yet, in all your fear, you didn't look away. More like, you couldn't. Because the blue haired man had a tight grip on your face, holding onto it from your cheeks as his thumb and the rest of the fingers dug in your skin and squished your face. All but one finger; his pinky.

He gave you a wide, terrifying smile under his set of hands, but you could see it poking from behind those hands, and your fear only grew.

Aizawa had yet to realise that you were here as he was too busy fighting all those lowly villains, but you doubted he would be able to do much, with you right in the main villain's hands.

"P-Please... I'm not-I'm not who you're looking for..." You barely choked out, your fear having clogged your throat but you somehow managed to utter those words out. His eyes began to show annoyance, "No, you are the right one. I know, I know... I know I'm right! So don't act so oblivious!!" He screamed at your face, making you cower away in fear.

Fucking deranged bastard...

But somehow, his screaming had alerted Aizawa and the ravenette felt his breathing hitch as he saw his student; you, cowering in fear while the villain gripped tightly at you.

"Let go of my student, you bastard..." At that moment, the hand man turned to see Aizawa obliterating the villains in his path just to get to you.

The blue haired villain simply let out an evil chuckle, "Your student? She's one of us. Just because you heroes have brainwashed her, doesn't mean I'll leave her like that. My master told me that her ambitions align with ours and I won't let her go..." He raised his finger to point at Aizawa and turned to the bird creature.

"Nomu, kill him."

"NO!!" You didn't even realize that it was you who screamed. But Nomu didn't listen to a single word except for hand man's order and rushed to Aizawa.

In the blink of an eye, it raised its fists and rammed them against Aizawa's side, sending him flying. His body crashed into the walls of the USJ building as if he was a ragdoll and you could feel your breathing quicken.

Were you having a panic attack?

You didn't know but the next thing you felt were your tears streaming down as Aizawa still got up and glared at Hand Man, who still had his hand squishing around your face, "P-Please... please don't kill him..." You croaked out and the Hand Man snapped his eyes in your direction.

"You're kidding me, right?! How can you just side with those heroes and beg for his life when you were praying for the destruction of this world just a while ago?!" His screams were getting louder and more obnoxious and your hyperventilation wasn't helping your weakened form.

The purple mist from before approached the bluenette, "Kurogiri, what about the other kids?"

"I managed to scatter them throughout the area, but I'm afraid one of them managed to get away..." Hand man let out an weird growl as he turned to Kurogiri, "Kurogiri, you... If only you weren't our way out, I would have killed you!!" He threw another tantrum and finally let go of your face.

But it's not like you could do anything, your breathing was still haggard, and you were surrounded by villains. Yet, your eyes fell on your teacher. He stretched out a hand and rushed to attack Hand Man, but Kurogiri interfered at the last minute, deflecting the attack.

Hand man simply raised and placed all five fingers on Aizawa's elbow.

And you felt your heart stop.

Oh, God... Oh... God!!

The skin around his elbow began to crumble away like sand.

Aizawa immediately jumped away but the Nomu blocked his path.

He looked like Death itself. Blood coated every inch of Aizawa's face, most probably from the fact that his head had been cracked open. The Nomu had broken his arm and was about to grab his head to ram it in the ground when a scream tore from your lips.

Dead...

He's going to die...

Just like... your mother...

Images of your mother's dead body lying in front of you played in your mind and you could no longer think straight.

And so, you finally made your move.

Almost as if your body was on autopilot, you turned your entire self invisible. Hand man turned to you in surprise when he heard your scream but it was too late for him. You didn't care if you were playing dirty, these bastards played dirty about an hour ago.

Now it's your turn.

You angled your fist and swung it with all your might, hurling it towards the Hand Man's chin. You remember your brother telling you a small tip for self-defense in which a punch to the chin can very well dislocate the jaw. And you were proud of yourself when you heard the popping sound of the dislocation. Moreover, you're pretty sure your punch must have fractured his auditory canal because you specifically used the bony part of your fist to strike the area under his ear, that joined to his jaw.

Once you knocked over Hand Man, his misty friend immediately rushed to his side and you took this as your chance to run to your teacher. Since you were invisible, Kurogiri didn't even realize that you had ran away, besides he was too focused on Hand Man.

You turned the vision of every villain you saw, black. And while you were still panicking very badly and most probably going to have a heart attack any minute from now, you couldn't let Aizawa die.

You didn't want to see anyone die...

Your mother's death left a huge impact on you and you'll be damned if you let anyone else's family suffer the same misery as you did. Not if you can do anything to help stop it.

The moment the Nomu came in your sight, you immediately turned his cornea black and rushed to Aizawa's side. The Nomu began screeching loudly.

The moment you laid your eyes upon him, you could feel your tears resurfacing. Oh, God... He looked so close to death...

"A-Aizawa-sensei?" You softly whispered as if you were scared that a single loud voice might shatter his already fragile state. He cracked his eyes open when he heard your voice, "[L-Last Name]?" You shakily nodded, but then you realised that he couldn't see you.

The Nomu was still going batshit crazy as it couldn't see anything so you carefully wrapped your arms around your teacher and helped lift him up slightly, "Sensei, can you stand? We need to get away." You never raised your voice louder than a whisper and kept your eyes on any villain you might have missed in turning blind.

So far, all of them were blindly looking around to see anything.

"[Last Name]... are you... okay? Did... he hurt you?" You couldn't help the tears that welled up in your eyes. God, your respect for this man just went over the roof. He's such a nice guy, worrying over you when he's the one knocking on death's door.

"Yes, I'm fine, Sensei... He didn't do anything. But please, we need to get away." Very slowly, he shook his head as his mind was beginning to clear up.

"You're the one... who needs to get away. I'll keep them at bay... Go." He ordered and you couldn't accept that. You were always a sticker for the rules and the orders of elders but you knew that if you left him here, he would die.

"No, no, no... I can't, Sensei... I can't leave! You'll die!!" Why couldn't he understand that?! He would die!! He won't be able to win against that Nomu. And his death will be in vain because the moment the Nomu is done with him, it'll go for you guys.

"Aizawa-sensei, please just let me patch you up!" Your voice was increasing in volume and honestly, you didn't care.

You set him a bit farther away than the villains and they all seemed confused right now as no one could see anything. The Nomu was running amok and it was starting to attack it's own comrades that were the lowly villains. Using your first aid kit, you cleaned away his blood to see the actual wound.

Thankfully, you got to him before the Nomu could ram his head in the ground and so his face as a whole was okay. His head just had a small fracture or maybe it might have cracked open a bit. You grabbed the roll of bandages and began to wrap them around his head, lifting his hair to not let it get in the way that much.

You grabbed his broken and decaying arm and wrapped it in bandages as well. You don't have the time to clean it, you'll do it later. In midst of it, you heard someone approaching you. Fear began to kick in but thankfully, it was your own friends.

"Aizawa-sensei!!" Midoriya and Tsu's voice rang in your ears and you finally let yourself become visible again in their company. Yet, your eyes widened when Hand Man set their eyes on them, somehow having recovered from the punch you gave him. He was still craddling his jaw but he had murder in his eyes.

Ah, you forgot to blind him and misty guy...

With a growl he managed to painfully mutter, "N-Nomu... Go forward... follow the footsteps... And kill them." He then turned to Kurogiri and ordered him that if All Might wasn't going to come, they might as well kill a few kids. You could feel your class approaching, Tsu said they were on the way.

Yet, you couldn't help but feel dread settling in your body when Kurogiri began to ready himself to form another portal.

Wait... Is he going to teleport the villains and Nomu here?!

Shit, you need to blind Kurogiri!! But before you could even react, the villains retaliated.

Not even Midoriya or Tsu or even Mineta had the time to react before you felt the crushing weight of Nomu's fist ram against your head, making you slam against the floor as you skidded to a halt, a few thirty meters away.

The strength of its fist, as well as hitting the ground l, definitely cracked your head but the fact that you skidded against the floor, face-first made you feel a burning feeling at the side of your face. You felt the blood from your head and face slowly oozing out and spilling all over the broken floors.

Your vision was hazy, you could hear some of your friends screaming your name. In fact, you're sure you saw Aizawa's eyes snap open and stare with absolute horror as you were thrown to the side by the Nomu.

But it seems like Kurogiri didn't just bring Nomu and the other blinded villains to you guys, but it also warped Hand Man over too. Because you saw the bluenette slowly inching his hand towards Tsu's face, who was frozen to the ground in fear.

You laid helplessly as your mind flickered. You could feel yourself slowly falling in and out of consciousness.

You saw snippets of how Aizawa managed to use his quirk to stop Hand Man from killing Tsu, and then... the sound of the door slamming open.

In no time, you saw a huge figure looming over you. You thought it was Nomu, so you closed your eyes. You were so out of it that your mind couldn't even process the fear of death. So you just closed your eyes, so that if it really was going to kill you, at least the last thing you'll see won't be its ugly face.

But instead of more pain, you felt someone wrap their arms around your figure and lift you up. Or maybe you were hallucinating and it was the Grim Reaper here to collect your soul.

If so, you would really like to see your mother first.

Then, you felt a rush of air and Aizawa's voice rang in your ears, "All Might, where is Thirteen?! Did anyone go to get help?! [Last Name] is in critical condition!!"

Wait, isn't that your name?

Is he talking about you?

"Aizawa-kun, take [Last Name] and the others out of here. I'll take care of the rest, you've already held it off for more than enough time." You felt someone craddle your body and there was silence for a little while, or maybe they were talking so quietly that you couldn't hear anything.

Because you could definitely hear Bakugo's loud explosions in the back and then... Kirishima's horrified gasps, Momo's muffled sobs, Tsu's shaking voice, Midoriya's somewhat audible yet very quiet apologies, Jirou and Uraraka rushing to fearfully ask your condition, Dark Shadows pleads to Tokoyami to let him see you, Ojiro trying to use your medical kit to find anything to help you, Mina and Hagakure's cries.

And then...

Todoroki? Is he crying too? No, but he sounds like he's close to crying.

You can hear the tremors in his voice as he says your last name, no malice or anger like usual. He isn't glaring at you, but he's looking at you in complete worry. Or maybe he might be glaring, and your vision is too blurry to see it.

You can feel Aizawa's hands shaking as he carefully drapes your arms over his shoulders and picks you up. Thankfully his bandages are still wrapped tightly around his wounds. But now that you cleaned up some of his blood, he doesn't look half as bad as you had expected.

Thirteen is in a pretty bad condition, just like you, and Aizawa isn't in the best shape either. Out of the three of you, Thirteen and Aizawa have it much worse, but they still prioritize you. Because you have a concussion and the fact that you haven't properly regained consciousness is worrying. You're still somewhat awake, but at the same time, you're not.

But slowly, you find yourself giving in to the comforting darkness.

And before you even knew it, you were knocked out.
