IVY'S POV
zach was banging on the front door, i got up to see who it was
"what do you want zach." i say wanting to slam the door
"i want to apologize" he says with a sad look on his face
"too bad" i say trying to slam the door, but he stops it with his hand
"you have 2 minutes" i say and liv stands up and walks into the kitchen
"i'm so sorry for not telling you any of this, i just didn't want to lose you after i just got you back, you mean so much to me and we divorced because i wanted to find you again, please v, just give me a chance to prove to you i'm good enough" he looks at me eagerly
"fine, you have one try to fix this, please just talk to me next time." i say giving him a hug
"anything" he hugs me so tight and i see paparazzi outside
"come inside" i say as he walks inside, he takes off his boots and sits down on the couch next to me, liv sits on the other couch
i feel my phone buzzing and see that noah is calling me
"oh" i said and answered it walking up the stairs
"hey noah!" i say
"what's up ivy! is zach there?" he ask me
"yeah he's in my house right now downstairs, is everything okay?" i ask him
"yeah i was just checking where he is, he just stormed out of my trailer and drove off really fast" he says trying to hint to something but i couldn't tell
"oh my gosh, what happened?" i asked him
"he got upset since i was comforting you and he got so mad he left so i had to see where he was." noah said with a shaky voice
"it's okay noah, he just had to cool off and he was being a total dick" i say smiling through the phone
"yeah sure sure, just call me if you need anything" he says
"thanks noah" i hang up and think about what just happened for a minute, i then hear a knock on my bedroom door
"come in" i say and see zach walk in
"hey" he says sweetly
"hey z" he sits down next to me and looks at the floor
"who was that?" he ask
"noah, he was worried about you and he told me that you stormed out on him" i say looking down at my hands
"well he deserved it i mean he was cuddling with you and-" i cut him off
"no he wasn't, he was comforting me after you left me in the pouring rain and didn't tell me anything, so he told me and i broke down, and for the record you were being a total dick" i say standing up
"i know, i know ivy, im just happy we are back and better together again" i look at him with a very confused look
"we aren't back together" i say sort of defending myself
he looks up at me in shock, he stands up and walks over to my mirror which is displaying his hat, and the picture of him
"and why is that?" he ask me sadly
"because it's been one day zach." he makes eye contact with me and i'm staring into his eyes
"yeah, your right" he says with a bit of sadness on his face
"just take it easy, okay, this is not anyone's fault i just wish you would've told me before all of this happened this way." he sits down next to me and i start smiling slightly, he sits down next me and i lay my head down on his shoulder
"how can i make this up to you?" he ask me
"show me the way things will really happen from now on" i say
"you got it" he says smiling and then we both may down on tn bed watching some tv, until it gets really late that night, zach is asleep so i just decide to tell him and then give him the choice of where to stay, he said he wanted to stay here.
i went and changed into some more comfortable clothes and then we went to bed
...
the next morning i woke up and zach was still sleeping, i woke up and took a quick shower and changed, when i got out of the shower i saw zach away and it looked like he was about to leave.
"are you leaving?" i ask him
"yeah, i better, we have another show tonight and then we are off to awards this weekend at the ACM's" he says sliding on his boots and and making my bed
my face lights up at the thought of the ACM's
"you wanna go?" he ask me with a smirk
my smile spreads from ear to ear
"REALLY???" i ask him jumping on my bed over to him
"yes" he says laughing
"YES Z!" i lay down underneath where he is standing now seeing his face backwards
"i'll pick you up tomorrow at 1:30, bring a suitcase, a few day outfits, all your necessities and something REALLY fancy to wear" he says as he emphasizes the word "really"
"you got it boss" i sit up and walk over to him
"thanks for everything v" he says as he hugs me and i kiss him on the cheek
"of course z" i walk him downstairs and to the truck and he leaves
once i walk back inside i see liv standing in the kitchen smirking
"IM GOING TO THE ACM'S" i scream so loud and liv starts freaking out with me
"I HAVE TO GO SHOPPING!" i reply looking all over the place for my keys and wallet
"IM GOING" liv says slipping on her shoes and grabbing her wallet and some drinks for us
we then walk out of the house and drive to the local shopping center
...
after about 4 hours of searching for everything i found EVERYTHING for my outfit, a few other outfits and some bathroom items, and a suitcase, and i had so much fun shopping with liv, by the time we got home it was now 5:00 pm and we realized we had nothing to cook so we ordered some food to the house, after that liv helped me pack and paint my nails for tomorrow, we stay up until around 12 and both end up passing out in my room, the next morning i ended up waking up super late (around 11:30) so i take a quick shower, wash my hair and shave and then changed into a simple outfit
i packed my tooth brush and everything else i needed and by the time i was done zach texted me saying he was outside, i hurried up and liv helped me carry my dress, my MASSIVE suit case, my little backpack with my small things for the road, my cowboy hats and my phone and water bottle to noah's car, noah, zach and i all rode back to the stadium and then they helped me put my stuff into zach's trailer, we were on the road at about 3:00, we finally arrived to TEXAS and it was about 6:00 pm, i was starving and so was everyone else so we went to a little restaurant, this time zach didn't care if people saw me with him and that made me so happy.
once we arrived to the restaurant we got a big table for everyone, i sat next to zach and noah. after we ate we went back to the tour bus, zach figured that i wouldn't want to get ready and sleep in a tour bus so he rented us a hotel room and once we got there, i unpacked a little bit, and then changed into my pjs and jumped into bed, i was so tired!
...
it was now about 12:00 pm i started falling asleep, i felt zach lay down next to me, i opened my eyes and put my hand to his hair and started messing with his hair, i fell asleep like that, i woke up to zach getting ready, i realized it was 11:00
"shit" i said waking up
zach walked over to me, fixed my hair, gave me a small hug and handed me a breakfast burrito and some coffee.
"goodmorning bug" that was always one of zach's nicknames for me
"morning z" i said smiling still half asleep
"we have to be on the way to the awards by 2:30" he smiles and slips on his button down long sleeve black shirt
"okay, i'm gonna eat and wake up, then take a shower and get ready, i should be ready by 2:00" he laughs a little bit
"is that funny?" i ask
"yeah, girls take so long." i smile and hit him on the arm
"i'm gonna go back to my tour bus around 1:00 and then pick you up around 2:00 to take you back with every else to leave around 2:30" he smiles
"thanks z, for everything" i say as he kisses my head
after i eat and wake up, i take a shower, slip on a simple outfit, do my makeup, blow dry my hair and then curl it after that it's around 1:00 so zach starts to get ready to leave, and i turn on my playlist as he is slipping on his shoes
"I'm Not Pretty" By Megan Moroney starts playing, i start singing.
i realize zach is frozen, i look over at him and ask what is wrong
"you okay z?" i ask smirking a bit
"YOU SOUNDED CRAZY GOOD" he says standing up and walking over to me, turning around the spinning chair i was sitting in so i would look at him
"your voice needs to be heard ivy" he says this so seriously
"are you serious, do u think i actually sound that good?" i ask him
"i wouldn't be saying that if i didn't think you were good enough to be featured with other big artist, you and megan would sound amazing together, and you and lainey, PLEASE ivy, tonight is the night to get this to happen." he is looking at me with eyes full of hope, i always deep down knew i wanted to be a singer especially a country one i just didn't think i would be able to do it
"okay zach, i'll talk to some people." i say smiling, he hugs me and leaves
i start playing my music again and then think about what he said.
could i actually do it? i wondered this the whole night
...
it was now 1:55, zach texted me saying he was coming up to help me pack up all my stuff and put in in the car.
he walked in and he froze in his tracks, i smiled and blushed, i moved my hands to cover my face and he walked towards me.
"you look hot." he leans in and kisses me on the lips softly, his hands on my hips.
"thanks z." i hug him
"will you help me bring this stuff down?" he helps me carry all this stuff down to his car, we start driving to the guys and there plus ones, once i get out it felt like everyone just looked at me for a minute, zach helped me walk to everyone.
"you look great" everyone starts saying to me, i hugged all the guys and then zach went into his trailer to put on his cowboy hat, i smiled and laughed so hard
"your hat pulls the outfit together" i laugh and hit it down a bit

we left right away, in a limo all together, once we arrived, i could tell zach got really nervous, and so did i, so i grabbed zach's hand and he seemed to calm down pretty quickly, once we got out of the limo there was paparazzi everywhere, we walked inside to the red carpet, u saw so many artist and couldn't wait to say hi to them, especially megan moroney, lainey wilson, kane brown, thomas rhett, morgan wallen, bailey zimmerman, kylie morgan, tyler childers and everyone else, i felt a HUGE rush of excitement.
