We continued the journey the next morning to Theo's house,we arrived the next morning at a beautiful house just normal and perfect
"your house is lovely"I said
"thanks"he said
"WOW look at those flowers"I said touching them
"yeah Gwen planted them"he said
"who's Gwen?"I asked
"you would meet her soon"he said and we walked into the house and we could hear silent music coming from the house,we opened the door to see a guy and a woman dancing crazily to 'WAP by cardi b' the way they were dancing was so funny so I started laughing
"there's a thing called knocking Theo and oh my god who's this pretty lady"she asked in one breath
"this is ruby"Theo said to her
"hey I'm Gwendolyn Brook but do call me Gwen"she said with a nice smile
"nice to meet you Gwen"I said
"oh my god is she your girlfriend"she asked and we both laughed
"no Gwen she isn't"theo said
"oh she isn't"she said
"no"Theo said
"then who is she?"she asked again still with her smile
"that would be discussed later"theo said
"alright then but that wouldn't stop me from calling her your girlfriend"she said
"ruby this is Jaymes Williams"Theo said introducing the other guy and I looked at him to see him standing with his arms crossed frowning
"thought you guys forgot me"he said causing gwen to roll my eyes.
Jaymes had brown short hair and brown eyes, he had a high cheekbone and was muscular but not like theo but he was also very handsome in a way that could draw his preys to him, Gwendolyn had long blonde straight hair and blue green eyes,she looked like a model with her hourglass figure
"Gwen show ruby the room she will be staying"Theo said
"okay, come with me"she said showing me her perfect set of teeth.
She led me through a short hallway to a room she opened it and it was dark inside but she soon switched on the light to reveal a beautiful room,it had a queen size bed and some other things which made it way more better than my room in the orphanage
"it's nice"I said
"thank God you love it, I was beginning to think you didn't like it due to your silence"she said
"why won't I?"I asked
"well Theo had a bitchy girlfriend and she used to say the room decor was ugly and it used to make me feel bad because I designed it"she said
"well then she doesn't have a good taste because you did a really good job on this room "I said
"well I'm really good at designing things,wait till I design your face"she said and I smiled
"anyway enjoy your stay "she said and left. I dropped my traveling bag at a corner in the room before I climbed the bed and slept.

When I woke up it was night already but it was not too late so I removed my shoes and wore a t-shirt with a monkey drawn on it and a black short before I went to the sitting room to see them at the dining room talking and drinking what I assumed was blood
"hey"I said with a smile and took a seat
"hey ruby"Gwen said with a smile
"I'm hungry"I said
" we ordered pizza for you"Theo said
"where is it?"I asked
"it is on the counter in the kitchen"Theo said and I nodded.
I got the pizza and started eating but they kept on staring at me "is anything the matter?"I asked
"Theo told us that you are the one from the prophecy"Gwen said
"yeah that was what he told me"I said as I continued eating
"but I don't believe"Jaymes said
"why?"Theo asked
"because she is a human"he said
"I think her monster is weak"Theo said "well I don't still believe"Jaymes said
"she has the sacred mark Jaymes"Theo said
"it could be fake"Jaymes said
"show them the mark"Theo said and I raised up my t-shirt and turned my back to them to show them the mark, immediately I opened it the mark began shining a bright white and they began to clench their teeth and fist and close their eyes their veins popping out and they looked as if they were in pain,they let out a screeching sound before they bowed down breathing hard
"s-top"they said
"what?"I asked
"cover it"Jaymes said and I dropped down my cloth
"sorry"I said
"we believe you now"Jaymes said
"but how did you know that she had the mark theo?"Gwen asked
"I saw it when she was fighting the first day I met her as she had even started glowing and then I knew who she was"theo said and they sighed
"finish your meal ruby and get some rest we would start the search for your dad tomorrow"Theo said and I quickly ate before I went to bed.
