tough decisions
"Good morning everyone," Sienna croaked as everyone began to switch beds for their morning cuddle. She climbed in with Zach after Molly made her way to Michael, the two and Charlotte also joined by Leah, packing the full bed.
"You look like a mix between a superhero and prince charming," Zach said as them islanders all greeted Scott and he sat on the edge of one of the beds.
"Aw, Zach wants to take you on a date," Sienna cooed as Zach looked down to mean mug her where she sat against his chest and the other islanders laughed. The group quizzed the newest boy for a bit longer before all the girls headed to the terrace for a morning chat. They started off the debrief hearing the positive updates from Ella regarding her and Ty, meaning the boy had come to his senses.
Jess then went on to share her feelings about Mitch telling her he was open to get to know her romantically. "Did you like ever get those vibes from him before last night?" Sienna asked in confusion.
"Literally not at all," Jess shook her head. "In my head we were just mates. So when he said that I was in shock. And honestly I do see me and Sammy working more."
"What about you Sienna, I know that's not your sweatshirt," Whitney asked Sienna who hid her face in her knee as all the girls cat called her.
"Yeah, things with Zach are very much moving in a good direction," she smiled. "He just makes me feel so comfortable with him which is really important to me. So yeah, so far so good. Excited to keep seeing what's there."
The girls kept talking before they realized the boys were downstairs cooking. "Honestly I'm not even getting changed, I'm so hungry," Sienna said as she went to the stairs, Molly agreeing and following her. They were quickly turned around when the boys yelled they weren't ready, so the ravenous girls headed back inside to get ready for the day.
The next time the girls came into the garden, breakfast was in fact served. Zach had kindly cooked her egg and cheese on toast, even handing off a plate to Charlotte before kissing Sienna on the head and heading into the gym. "Ok wait," Sienna said as she ate her breakfast with Leah and Molly. "That's hot," Sienna looked over to where Catherine was sitting with Scott.
The three girls people watched as they ate, seeing what conversations the islanders were getting into that morning. After Sienna had finished her meal, she headed into the kitchen to clean up before Scott started making his way down the list and came to grab her for a chat.
"That got you jealous bro?" Ty asked Zach with a smirk as the taller boy followed Sienna and Zach with his eyes.
"Not gonna lie, yeah," Zach laughed, shaking his head and turning back to his work out.
"Sienna and I are doing well, but Scott is a good looking lad," Zach shrugged. "And Sienna is obviously un real so I know he's going to want to get to know her of course. Doesn't mean I have to like it."
Sienna chatted with Scott for a bit before the boy got up to move on to his next conversation. The girls stayed put as Whitney and Catherine headed her way, the three cuddling on the day bed. "So how was everyone's chats with Scott the footballer?" Sienna asked.
"He's definitely got the chat," Whitney said. "Good looking boy."
"Agreed," Catherine said. "He and I had some really good conversations talking about home which Is always nice. And he's obviously hot."
"Either of you interested in getting to know him more?" Sienna asked.
"I mean we'd be silly not to," Catherine said. "Like we're all here to find connection, it is still early on you know?"
"Agreed," Whitney said. "What about you Sienna?"
"Yeah he was lovely, but something about talking to a boy younger than me gives me hives," Sienna laughed. "But no, I'm happy to chat again if he wants to pull me for sure."
The girls gossiped on the day bed for a bit longer, seeing all the little conversations happening across the villa. As the sun started going down, the islanders slowly trickled inside to get ready for the evening. Scott was the topic of the dressing room of course as the girls got ready, not one girl seeming to be unwilling to chat with the boy.
Scott led them in a cheeky little toast that evening, all the islanders behind the idea of causing trouble as they took their first sips of the night. Sienna let Zach grab her hand and lead her over to one of the kitchen couches.
"So how have your chats with Scott the lad gone?" Zach asked, trying to be nonchalant but he could see Sienna grinning as he sipped his drink. "Stop grinning at me!"
"No, it's nice that you feel a little jealous," Sienna laughed. "But at this point, I don't necessarily see anything there. He's a lovely boy and the chat was nice, but there was no like spark or anything. Of course I could go kiss him-"
"Absolutely not," Zach grumbled as he reached over to pull her into his side, the girl cackling at his grumpy facade. "Not gonna lie, I'm glad to hear it. I really like where we're heading, I feel like even us being split up it was a good thing for us, because it's helping us build something more slowly you know?"
"Yeah I agree," Sienna nodded. "I'm not necessarily a slow burner, but being able to like take our time and feel each other out is really I think the best way to do this."
The two's covnersation came to a halt by Scott's phone ringing, calling all islanders to the firepit. Sienna and Michael smiled to each other as they sat down, waiting for the next text to come in. Molly's phone was the next to ring.
"The public have been voting for their favorite girl, and their favorite boy. Those with the fewest votes will be vulnerable tonight. As Scott is the newest islander, he is not included in the vote."
Charlotte was the next phone to chime. "The three boys witht he fewest votes, and therefore at risk are."
"Zach," Catherine read out. Sienna sighed, Michael patting her knee.
"Andre," Ella read out next.
"Sammy," Jess had to read out. The group all looked at the standing boys till Mitch's phone then rang.
"The three girls who recieved the fewest votes and are therefore at risk are," he read out.
"Charlotte," Mehdi read out first.
"Leah," Scott read out.
"Catherine," Ty read out, causing several jaws to drop.
After a few moments, Whitney's phone rang asking the vulnerable islanders to stand in front of the firepit. Sammy's phone then rang. "Only one boy and one girl will be going home tonight," he read out.
"That decision will be made by the safe islanders," Catherine read out.
"Girls, you must now discuss which boy you would like to dump from the island," Jess read out. Mitch got the same text, informing the boys they would be choosing which girl to dump. The seated girls all moved together, none of them eager to have this debate.
"I did not expect this tonight," Jess whispered as they all made eye contact.
"This is not easy at all, but we have to do it," Sienna said quietly. "I don't even know where to start."
"We can start with Andre," Jess said. "He's a big personality in here. He's a lovely boy but-"
"But," Molly nodded. "When it comes to connection and love. I think what he has right now is not necessarily the most strong."
"I agree," Sienna sighed, looking to Whit. "And honestly, I think if he left, Catherine would find something stronger too."
"I mean, I think Jess and I are both biased because the boy's we both have connections with are stood up there," Sienna admitted. "I really like, can't imagine seeing Zach go."
"Yeah, same," Jess nodded.
"But what do you two think," Sienna turned to Whitney and Ella.
"I think obviously Jess you and Sammy are building something strong, and Sienna so are you and Zach," Ella said.
"But I think Catherine and Andre have a strong connection too," Whitney said.
"Not debating that," Sienna shook her head. "That's what makes this harder is that those three boys all have connections right now. I'm happy to shut up now and leave it to the three of you who are less biased, but I think it has to come down to which connections we see as the strongest, and if there is one where we can see if the boy were to left, would the girl be able to find something stronger."
The girls took another moment before sadly coming to a conclusion. Turning back around, Mehdi stood up to deliver the boys decision. "It has been great to get to know all of you. You all brought something to the villa. But we had to make our decision based on who we think has the least compatibility with the islanders. So the girl we have decided to dump from the island is,
Charlotte."
Molly had the job of being the girls spokesperson. "As you can imagine this was a tough decision for us to make. We love you all and we don't want to see you go. But we based our decision off of the romantic connections in the villa. So the boy we have chosen to dump from the island is,
Andre."
The shock was clear on Catherine's face, and Sienna wanted to hug the girl immediately but she headed right to Andre. The girls passed Charlotte around for hugs before heading inside to help her get packed up. The girls all gave Andre tight hugs before sending the two of them off.
The mood was somber as the remaining islanders headed back to the garden. Sienna let her hand intertwine with Zach's as the two headed to the fire pit, pulling him into a hug. "That fucking sucked," Sienna sighed as she pulled back and rested her head on his shoulder and seeing Whitney and Catherine sit in the den.
"It was shit standing up there, I didn't want to leave when we were just getting started," Zach said. "But I honestly didn't expect Andre to go."
"It was really hard because all three of you had connections," Sienna sighed. "But in my head, I was like out of the three guys, if they left, which of the partners would currently have a potential other connection in the villa. And quite frankly, I think Catherine and Scott, there's something there."
"That makes sense," Zach said. "She's a lovely girl, I'm glad she's still here. I'm glad you and I are still here." Sienna adjusted to face him and lifted up to press a slow kiss to his lips.
"Me too."
