Chapter 12

"I can't believe that I'm 31 years old na!!" Denise screamed, She scremed like a old woman who needs a help.
Nag agree naman ang mga yaya sakaniya, but my reklamo rin ang isa, "Yes, 31 years old but still doesn't have a kid."
"Well I'm sorry, I'll keep my virginity" denise replied.
"What a waste then, you can just give it already to someone else, why don't you give it? Just picked a random person." Her opinion.
"Like i said.. i was keeping it."
"For someone."
"For someone?" The girl repeated what denise said, and she chuckled. "For fuck sake. Kay Ms bene ba?"
"Yes." Denise nodded at her and she continue. "kanino paba? I'm her girlfriend." She said and she smiled.
The nanny's didn't believe her and they asked denise again, "really?" They all said.
"Yes." She nodded and she take a sip on her coffee, she was holding it, while she was talking to someone.
"Di kami naniniwala" sabi uli ng yaya.
"Hmm? Pakita ko sayu yung anu nami-"
"Wag nalang, naniniwala na kami sayu." Pumasok ang isa tas sinabi nya yun, natahimik ang lahat ng yaya at pinagpatuloy ni denise ang kaniyang pag inom ng kape.
Few minutes later, umakyat si denise sa office ni bene, wala si bene doon sa loob. Pinag isipan ni denise na mag look around inside of her office, she was bored, thoughts nya yun.
She looked at bene's cabinet with full of books, puro ng mga pula na libro. Kinuha ni denise ang gitna na libro at binuksan ang pahina.
Sa unang pahina palang, may naka lagay na salita, na kayang Gulatin si denise sa salita naiyon.
"Bakit puro na mga masasama na salita?" Tanong ni denise, nag tataka kung bakit nga ba.
Ang unang naka lagay na salita sa pahina ay..
"The devil's book"
Nagulat si denise sa title, at pinalitan ang pahina, page one. sinulat ito ni bene nung sya ay twenty four years old, nag tataka si denise kong bakit ang title ng libro ay the devil's book, kung maganda naman ang mga salita.
"December 25 1999, my mother was beaten by my father, in front of my eyes, my father punch my mother in her stomach,"
"Tapos sumuka sya ng dugo, i was scared at that moment, My father was like a demon at that time, my mother and I were both scared, I couldn't do anything. But look at the two of them." Binasa ni denise ang salita na nasa pahina one.
"It was Christmas day, i expected na di nato mangyayari, but it's out of luck, my mother got beaten again, for no reason."
"I was 3 years old at that time, i couldn't fight back, just to save my mother. I saw it clearly, how my father punch my mom in her stomach."
"Her mouth was bleeding, she has a black eye."
"April 13 2012, my mother decided to take me away, i agree. Delikado ang aming buhay since i was born in this world."
"If my mother didn't give birth to me, this will not happened to her, it's all my fault. I don't know what to do."
Pagkatapos ni denise basahin ang unang pahina, nag next page na sya at dun tumulo ang luha nya.
"Tumakas kami ni mama, pero nahuli kami ni papa, natakot kaming dalawa at tumakbo para di mahuli, kaso dalawa kaming babae. Mabilis tumakbo si papa, he caught my mom and he shoot her in the face."
"He did it in front of me again, and he looked at me worriedly. Umabante ako nung tumalsik saakin ang dugo ni mama, i was so scared, i feel my shivers, i don't know what to do now.."
"My father said, "She's a monster, she deserves to die." And i replied, "You are the monster here!", Then he got mad at me and he slapped me."
"My mouth was bleeding in pain and i ran away with so much anger that i felt, now.. i regret that i was born under his name, i don't want to be him."
"I don't want to be just like my father, he killed my mom in front of my face, he abused her many times. Then he cheated on her."
"In front of my mom, she was caring me that time, di pa ako lumabas sa mundo nato. My father was cheating with other woman, and my mother caught him many times."
"But still... She forgives him, because she loved him so much, that's why she said yes, sa altar, sa harap ng dios."
"Because she loved him so deeply." Denise said slowly and she closed the book, she wiped her tears using her shirt and someone in the back was looking at her.
It was bene, the one who wrote the book.
"I see, you're here? Why did you read my book without my permission?" She asked confused.
Denise turned around right away when she heard her voice, she still crying.
"And yes.. i wrote it, don't cry." Bene said, trying to comfort her in anyways.
"Uhm.. ah.. I'm sorry, i didn't know na need pa pala ng permission bago basahin ang book mo, I'm sorry again it will never happ-"
"It's okay." Bene didn't hesitate to cut her words, she did it without excuses.
"Ikaw naman nag basa, it's not a big deal." Bene explained and she smiled at her, she came approach her closely and she hugged denise suddenly.
"Don't cry, my princess. It's your birthday, and that book.. was just my true backstory."
"Forget that already and be happy, you turn 31 already!" Bene whispered at her ears, kumalma si denise and she hugged bene back.
"Thankyou my love." Denise said.
Tumagal ang kanilang pag hugged sa isat-isa and they made an eye contact to each other, "hon?"
"I really like your breath.." denise whispired at bene.
"Ah right.. you want me to kiss you, is it?" Bene asked, she chuckled.
"Yes, can we?" Denise beg at bene, bene couldn't disagree, it's even worth it.
"Fine." Bene sigh.
They looked at each other lips, nilapit una ni denise ang kaniyang labi, pero si bene ang unang humalik sakanilang dalawa.
Denise gasped inside, and she kissed her back.
Denise put her to hands in the back of bene, holding her tightly, like a big bear.
They stop, then denise looked at the different direction, bene followed her eyes.
"What are you looking at?" Bene asked her confused, she looked back and denise was actually pointing at the door.
"Oh shit, it's not locked." Bene cursed infront of Denise. She started to laughed at her. bene notice it and she directly looked at Denise's face.
"Don't laughed at me, i really forgot to closed it."
"And by the way, i tough we will just kissed, why do i need to locked the door?" Bene asked confused again, she didn't know that Denise is ready to play the role of a dog.
"But, hon?" Nag pakyut si denise kay bene at nag oo nalang si bene, ket di nya pa alam ang gagawin nilang dalawa.
"Fine."
"Gagawin ko lahat ng gusto mo, basta gagawin korin ang lahat ng gusto ko sayu, deal?" Bene offered it to denise.
And denise nodded at her.
She's saying that she's agree. Sa deal nayun ni bene.
