Third Person POV
Despite being locked up in the Salvatore boarding house, Lexi was enjoying her nap on Stefan's bed. After arriving late last night, she was exhausted. She turns over to the side and briefly open her eyes to see Damon Salvatore lying next to her.
'Boo' Damon says
'Urgh' Lexi groans
'Hello Lexi .What an unexpected surprise'
'Unexpected Surprise? I think the wrong brother went back at high school'
'How long you here for?'
'Just for Stefan's BDay'
'You mean you didn't come all this way to see me' Damon whimpers pretending to be heartbroken.
'That's it Damon. After a century I finally realize death mean nothing without you. do me' Lexi mocks getting super close to Damon's face before turning around and getting up off the bed
'Why are you so mean to me' he whines
'Have you met you?, You're not nice person'
'Because I'm a vampire' Damon put simply
'But you're only the bad parts' Lexi says leaning on the bed
'Teach me to be good' Damon flirts leaning towards Lexi who just vamp speeds on top of him with her hand at his neck
'I'm older and that means stronger'
'Sorry' Damon just manages to wheeze
'Don't ruin my time with Stefan cause I'll hurt you and you know I can do it'
'Yeah' Damon agrees and Lexi finally lets go of him.
Georgia's POV
God I hate it when Jenna and Elena get dumped. They wallow but they have never wallowed together, I could barely stand having one of them wallow, now they both were. Right now they were arguing about which person's reason to wallow was more legitimate.
'My wallow is legitimate. I was dumped' Jenna groans
'Yeah. Well Logan's a jerk' Elena mumbles
'You didn't get a brush-off e-mail saying:" I'm leaving town see ya."' Jenna complains as I hand her a bowl with the ice cream she requested.
'Wanna keep it down over there' Jeremy adds from the kitchen
'Why? What are you doing?' Jenna asks him
'Homework.'
All three of us shoot each other a confused look
'Since when do you do homework?' Elena asks Jeremy
'I gotta finish this. I'm way behind and I have a quiz tomorrow so...'
'What do you think? Alien?' I suggest to Jenna
'Some sort of replicate' she replies
'He can hear you' Jeremy says from the kitchen and I chuckle.
'Urgh, I'm going to my room' Elena mumbles standing up from the couch and heading to the stairs at a snails pace. Oh my god I couldn't take it anymore.
'I'm going out Jenna, I'll be back later, will you be ok while I'm gone?' I ask Jenna as flips through the channels on the TV.
'Yeah, I have Jeremy to get me stuff' she replies so I grab my phone and keys off the bench. I head to the front door. I swing it open to get a fright when I see Bonnie standing there with her hand up as if she was just about to knock.
'Oh, hi Bonnie' I say surprised
'Hey Georgia, do you know where Elena is, she's dodging my-'
'She's upstairs, feel free to head up' I say quickly before pushing past her and heading down to my car. I put the keys in the ignition and head off towards the Salvatore's.
Once I'm there I jump out and open the door. I couldn't care less about knocking. I just wanted to get this depressed Elena stage over and done with.
'Stefan' I call out through the house
'I'm in the lounge room Georgia' I hear Stefan exclaim
'Stefan, look I know my sister is very much a pick me girl but she's super depressed and you need to-' I rant but when I find Stefan, I stop talking when I see a blonde girl sitting in a chair. I immediately feel a bit uncomfortable, clearly Stefan was already moving on.
'Ummm, sorry I didn't realise you were moving on already, I'll just lea-'
'No, no Georgia. This is Lexi, an old 'friend' of mine, trust me, she's not my rebound'
'That is way to gross, hi I'm Lexi' the girl says offering her hand to me and I give it a shake.
'Oh sorry, Hi I'm Georgia' I introduce myself and Lexi smiles at me.
'So you must be the twin to Stefan's girl right? So this is what she looks like' Lexi says pointing at me and I shake my head.
'No, Elena and I are fraternal twins' I point out and she nods
'Oh, I was going to say, your really pretty, you really did a good job Stefan' Lexi says and I laugh
'No, Stefan and I are just friends' I say before taking a seat on one of the chairs.
'So why are you here Georgia?' Stefan asks
'Well my sister is depressed, that's why. You need to get your act together and get back with her cause I can't take anymore of upset Elena' I complain
'What do you suggest I do Georgia, it's not like I haven't tried everything'
'Why don't you just have sex with her' Lexi suggests causing Stefan I to give her a look
'Yes, that's a great idea' I like this Lexi girl more and more
'No' Stefan says simply
'Sex always work. Mean you'll rock her world so hard with your vamp sex. She'll be yours forever forever'
'Yeah,but see, this isn't about sex or... or compulsion or any of our other tricks. She has to want to be with me on her own terms' Stefan tells us and Lexi looks take aback
'Woah that sounded all mature and grown-up' she says
'He's not getting any older' I joke causing both Stefan and Lexi to laugh.
'I like her' she says before taking out what looked to be a hospital blood bag and taking a sip of it. I feel my stomach squirm at the sight.
'Want some?' Lexi asks Stefan but he shakes his head. She then turns to me and notices the look I was giving her.
'Relax I didn't kill anyone for it. This phlebotomist i went out with a few times, he's my supplier. Oh don't judge ok? Listen I tried the animal diet lasted three weeks'
'It doesn't matter. Cause if I started again ... I just don't know if...'
'You could stop' I finish Stefan's sentence and he slightly nods. I remember when Damon tried to get Stefan to drink from me and I remember his veins appearing and he seemed to be visibly struggling to control himself
'I'm just jealous of your restraint. I have none. I delight in hedonism. Speaking of which, what are we doing tonight?' Lexi asks
'Funny you should ask....Well hello Gigi'
We all turn around to see Damon standing in the doorway
'Well I wasn't asking you' Lexi snaps
'What are you doing here?' Damon asks me
'I was just talking to Stefan and meeting Lexi, why do you care?' I snap. Damon raises his eyebrows and shrugs looking back at Lexi
'There's a party at the grill . You'll love it. Banquettes, Tacky wait staff, All Stefan's friends'
'Oh I don't want a Birthday party'
'What?! Is is your birthday?' I ask Stefan, shocked that he didn't mention it before
'Well....yeah, if you even really count birthday's anymore when your a vampire' Stefan replies
'Nonsense, you always do, he just isn't a fan of his birthday' Lexi tells me
'Anyway back on topic, you don't even need to worry about it because it's not for you. It's a party party. No one's gonna know it's your birthday. Caroline's throwing it' Damon says innocently causing me to raise my eyebrow. I thought Stefan told Damon to stay away from her.
'Damon stay away from Caroline' Stefan says, speaking my thoughts for me but Damon just shrugs, walking towards me.
'We're friends it's cool. Like me and Little Princess here' Damon brushes it off throwing his arm around my shoulder and pulling me into his side.
'Your ridiculous' I say quickly ducking out from underneath
'Besides. It's important for the town to see us out and about like normal folk. We need to blend in' Damon finishes before beginning to head out of the room but before he briefly takes a look at Lexis blood bag.
'I prefer mine at 98.6, see you at the party Gigi' he says before shooting me a small wink and leaving the room. I roll my eyes at him. He truly had no shame.
'Let's Go. Please?' Lexi begs once Damon is gone, clearly sick and tired of being cooped up all day.
'Alright fine, we can go to this party, I'll see you there Georgia' Stefan gives in before walking out of the room leaving me with Lexi.
'I guess, I should probably head home th-'
'Can I offer you some advice?' Lexi random cuts me off and I'm taken aback but I nod my head.
'I mean, sure'
'Don't let Damon get in your heart'
'Huh? What do you mean?'
'I fell for Damon once, in the morning he abandoned me and stole my daylight ring, and after that interaction, it seems your falling for it to' she says seriously but I just laugh it off
'Haha, no there is nothing going on with Damon and I, he just tries to flirt with me but I hate him, he's done so much to hurt my family and me, I can't like him. I hate him. He is pure evil' I defend myself but Lexi just raises her eyebrows at me
'But I'm sure he hasn't been evil when it's just been the two of you' Lexi says and I swallow the lump that formed in my throat as I remember all of my moments with Damon where I thought that he was something outside of being a vampire.
'I'm just saying, be careful, he could swoop in when you least expect it' Lexi informs me before standing up from her chair.
'It was nice to meet you though, I'll see you at the party'
She then leaves me alone in the room.
Could I be letting Damon weasel his way in. I swore I would never care for someone again after what happened. No, I wasn't. I hated Damon, everything he did was out of his own benefit, nothing he ever did was valid.
'Yeah, I'm not' I say aloud before yelling a quick 'bye guys' to the house, knowing they heard me before heading back out to my car.
Time skip
Georgia's outfit, see above but no black long sleeves^^
I head into the Mystic Grill and I'm surprised to not see Stefan or Lexi here yet. I feel my heart sink with annoyance though when I see Caroline talking to Damon again, hadn't she learnt her lesson last time she tried to get close to him.
'Bonnie won't give it to me' I hear Caroline complain
'So rip it off her neck' I see Damon protest clearly frustrated. I then scan the room to see Bonnie over by the drinks table and I see a goldish jewel hanging on her neck. Why did Damon want it?
'I tried, it shocked me'
Ok that is even stranger.
'Dammit, why does it do that? I need that crystal' I see Damon lightly grab Caroline's shoulders and then it hits me. It must be magical or something, with Bonnie talking about being a possible physic.
'Why have you been like this? I'm so good to you and I'd do anything, it's just some stupid necklace'
'No you are the only stupid thing here. And shallow. And useless' Damon snaps before turning around and marching out the door.
Oh no.
I head towards the direction Damon went. If he was mad then who knows what might happen.
'Georgia..'
Frustrated I turn around to see Caroline looking at me. She looks really sad so reluctantly I decide to comfort her
'Caroline....what Damon said to you was not right, your not a waste of space'
'Did you here that huh?'
'Yeah....but he doesn't deserve you, but you need to stay away from him from now on ok, he's toxic' I reinforce and she nods.
'Your right, I'm not going to have him define-' Caroline begins to speak only she stops mid sentence and I catch her looking behind me. I turn around to to find Bonnie coming back from the bathroom.
'Ill be right back' Caroline says with anger in her eyes. I'm about to stop her but she pushes past me. I sigh before turning my attention back to the exit but to my surprise, Damon was already walking back down the stairs. I follow him with my eyes and he makes his way over to....Elena? When did my sister arrive. I quickly head over.
'Hey, Elena what are you doing here?' I ask my sister, choosing to not even acknowledge Damon.
'Woah, no hey to the older brother' Damon says pretending to be hurt
'Nope' I answer putting emphasis on the 'p'.
'Stefan recommended that I show up' Elena replies before giving Damon a dirty look.
'No you're right Elena. Poor Stefan persecuted throughout eternity by this depraved brother, does it get tiring being so righteous?' Damon continues the conversation him and Elena were previously having
'It flares up in the presence of psychopaths' Elena says grabbing my arm and pulling us away from Damon
'Ouch! consider this psychopath's feelings get hurt' Damon says dramatically, holding his heart in the process.
'What did you do to our brother?' I suddenly blurt out turning us to face Damon
'Georgia, we don't need to' Elena says but I put my hand up
'I'm gonna need a less vague question Gigi'
'When you did what you did to Jeremy's memory of Vicki, what else did you do to him?' I ask
'Your sister asked me to take away his memory of fangs and all the bad stuff. She wanted me to take away his suffering'
'But he's acting different he seems okay with everything and a little too okay.I mean he's studying , he's not doing drugs ,he's not drinking, are you sure you didn't do something else?' Elena adds and Damon stares at her briefly before answering.
'Elena I took away the suffering' he says before holding his hand out to me.
'Let me buy you a drink' he says
'I think I'll pass' I say
'Now that is stuck up of you, come on'
Damon grabs my wrist and before I knew it he has dragged me all the way to the bar.
'Two tequila shots' Damon demands once he sits me down at the bar. The guy nods and starts to make our drinks.
'What are you doing?' I ask turning to face Damon
'I'm getting you a drink, what does it look like?'
I open my mouth to respond but I'm interrupted by the bartender handing me the tequila shot.
'Here you go' he says and Damon raises his shot with mine.
'Let's make a toast to Stefan, may his birthday be one to remember'
Ok. There is definitely something wrong with Damon.
Despite my thoughts I put on a fake smile and down the shot with Damon.
'Ok Damon what is really going on' I put bluntly but Damon shrugs
'I literally don't know what your talking about'
'Oh COME ON Damon, as if you would toast to your brother having a good birthday. Your mad about something and I'm 90% sure it's about Bonnie's necklace' I say and like I thought Damon snaps his face towards me at the mention of the necklace.
'How did you know about the-'
'I heard you yell at Caroline. You wanted that necklace back and she couldn't get it for you when you compelled her' I inform him. Damon responds by smiling and motioning to the bartender
'We would make a pretty good team you and I' he avoids the conversation like always and I roll my eyes.
'Can I get a beer please' Damon requests to the bartender
'Damon, what special significance does that necklace have? It must be important to why you came back to Mystic Falls'
'You really ARE nosy Little Princess' Damon jokes and as he reaches out to his beer I grab it from the bartender and hold it close to my chest.
'You would deny a vampire his drink?' he presses but I hold it out of his reach.
'You'll get it back when I find out why you need Bonnie's necklace' I say as I stare at Damon. He stares back and we sit in a staring match until Damon smirks and leans back in his chair.
'I'm impressed with your courage Miss Gilbert because truth be told, I could kill you right here, right now and get my beer that way'
'But you won't because your in a public space and your not going to risk you being discovered by everyone in this grill' I smirk knowing that I got him.
'Well your right on the money there, alright, I need it because I bought from someone in 1864, it's very important to me' Damon reveals and I soften my face a little.
'Then why give it to Caroline in the first place?'
'Because I wanted to show her how much I cared for her but obviously she didn't care about me because she gave it to someone else' Damon says and after a moment I slap him across the face.
'Ow, what was that for?'
'You and I both know your lying' I say rudely. Everything Damon just said was so Stefan coded and cringe that I wanted to throw up.
Third Person POV
Damon couldn't believe how incredible this girl was. It was like she was physic. She knew he was lying and he admired the fact she was willing to do whatever to try and get the information out of him. He felt drawn to her even more then he did before but he had to remind himself why he returned in the first place, was to bring back the love of his life. These things he felt for Georgia Gilbert were just attraction and similarity that she had with Katherine. Once he got her back then everything he felt for her would go away.
'Ok maybe I'm lying because I don't trust you, like how I don't trust anyone in this damn town' Damon replies and Georgia rolls her eyes at him, frustrated.
'But if you must know, its apart of my diabolical master plan' he smirks before getting up and grabbing his beer from the table which Georgia had placed on the table.
'Your buying' Damon whispered to her and then he walked away leaving the girl alone at the bar.
Georgia's POV
God I hated Damon. Once he walked away I didn't know what to do so I just ordered another drink and downed it quickly. Feeling a little bit tipsy I then headed outside so I could get some fresh air.
'Come on' I hear a voice and turn around to see the sheriff with two other cops dragging Lexi to the police car. I duck behind the nearby wall so they can't see me. Why were they attacking her? What did she do wrong?
Suddenly Lexis fangs come out and she throws the cops onto the nearby cars, smashing the windscreen. I see Caroline's mum get out a gun and fire bullets at her but it doesn't phase Lexi and she gets increasingly closer to the sheriff.
The out of nowhere Damon suddenly appears and stabs Lexi with what looks to be like a wooden stake.
'Oh my god!' I gasp as tears form in my eyes as Lexi mutters 'Why?' to Damon who just twists the stake. Lexi's skin then starts to turn grey and it almost looks like she get's turned to stone. She falls to the ground and I see Damon comfort the Sheriff. I realise that Damon planned this to throw the Sheriff off his trail. So apparently Elena and I weren't the only ones who knew about vampires in this town. I clench my jaw and dig my fingers into my palm as I get both angry and sad over Lexi so hard that I feel my hands heating up.
I then look over to see Stefan walking away from the grill with Elena at his heels. I quickly run after them
'Stefan! Stefan!' I call out to him and both him and Elena turn around to face me
'Did you see-'
'Yeah' I reply to my sister causing Stefan to run a hand through his hair.
'He killed her, he killed Zach, he killed tanner, he turned Vicki , I have to kill him' Stefan says furious
'No you can't do that' Elena says grabbing onto his arms
'Please Stefan, don't kill him' I defend Damon
'Why are you trying to save him? Elena, Georgia, he's never gonna change. Don't you see that? He's not gonna change' Stefan yells at us
'We're not trying to save him' I say
'We're trying to save you, you have no idea what this will do to you, please Stefan' Elena adds
'Everywhere I'd been pain and death follow. Damon follows me. No more' Stefan chokes out
'Stefan please. Please just talk to me; Let me be here for you. Talk to me' Elena pleads one final time
'No. You were right to stay away from me. You both need to stay away from me' Stefan tells us before pulling himself out of Elena's grip and walking away. Elena turns to look at me with tears in her eyes and I sigh before opening my arms. She falls into the hug and I hear her silently cry in my arms.
