Augustina puts away the last plate as she finishes washing the dishes from their breakfast that morning.
"Lila go give papi his smoothie so he can go to work please. " she says as she puts hair products in Matthews hair because he got up earlier then he usually does. "Yes mami, can I bring some to school? " Lila says as she stands up to get the smoothie.
Putting the last product in Matthews hair while hes paying no attention to her only on his iPad.
" Yes, but you have to get dressed in order to go to school so get out of your pajamas and put on the dress I set for you on the bed. " August said to her while struggling with the right pronunciation of pajamas.
" OK MAMI! " Lila exclaimed happily as she skipped to give her papi his smoothie.
August laughs as she places, patting his back as a signal to get up from the chair.
" Ok papito mama called me and told me she's coming over in 5 minutes. So that means you need to go brush your teeth and try not to mess up your hair. " she states as she picks up the hair products.
Matthew tries not to trip as his foot gets caught on the chair.
He presses a kiss to her cheek and laughs because he saw something funny on his iPad " yes mami " he giggles and runs to his room.
She smiles as she walks into her room she sees her husband washing his hands looking into the mirror.
He smiles into the mirror looking at her while turning off that water and grabbing a towel to dry his hands.
" You still look as handsome as the day I met you. " She says walking over to him.
" Hi honey " he turns around and wraps his hands around her waist admiring her , as while she wraps her hands around his neck.
" Hola mi amor " she muttered as she put her head in on chest. She gets her head off of his chest and lays a kiss on his lips then walks back into the room into the closet to pick out her outfit.
She picks out a white button up shirt, and some beige glossy heels. For her accessories she has got her Apple Watch, her necklace that he got her for their first anniversary, her wedding ring, her gold hoops, and her Chanel purse.
She strips out of her pajamas putting on her pants " Are we still going to dinner tonight because mami said she can watch the kids. " as she zips her pants putting on her bra then shirt.
Deacon looks at his watch then looks back up to August as he puts on his jacket " If everything goes right of course, I'll call you if the plans change, ok? I love you. " he states as he kisses her heading towards the door to say goodbye to the kids.
" Ok I love you have a good day at work and don't get hurt! " she called out trying to put her hoops on.
August hears the door shut as she shes walking towards Lila's room to see if she got ready.
She leans on the door to see Lila twirling around in her blue dress brushing her hair waiting for August to do.
" You look so beautiful Querida! " August smiles as she approaches her daughter taking the brush out of her hand and puts it down.
The door bell suddenly rings while she was going to get the pinches for Lila's hair.
" Esperar mamas here " she turns around and goes down stairs to open the door.
" We have a problem " Lydia said as soon as the door opened with her arms open.
August rolled her eyes at her dramatic mom with a happy smile on her face " yeah what happened now mami? "as her mother strolled dramatically into the house.
" Patricia told Silvia who told Clara who told me SHE DOESN'T LIKE ME I mean who doesn't like me. " Lydia roared with her thick accent as she was putting on her 'scarlet sunrise' lipstick.
" She doesn't like you? You gave her Tres Leches after her husband passed away and she doesn't like you? " August scoffs as she rolls her eyes. Truth be told she didn't like that women.
" God rest his soul " they both said while kissing their hands after doing the cross.
August then looked at her watch and noticed the time " I have to go finish Lila's hair will you check on papito? " Lydia's chuckle didn't go unnoticed by August as she raised one of her perfectly shaped brows.
" No need to worry cariño I love papito, I'll take him to the zoo today since his school is off. " she says as she turns August around to Lila's room.
" Ok but make sure to call me when you get home ok mami? " August raises her eyebrow as she glances back at her mom.
" Yes, yes now go get Lila Ophelia's hair done. " August rolled her eyes walking upstairs.
" Ok mamita you want ponytails? " she questioned Lila turning to Lila's hair.
Lila nodded as she finished the strawberries she took from the fridge.
August does the ponytails as she looked at the bows, bobos, and headbands in the hair basket.
She looked at the clear bobos then she looked through the mirror and said " do you want bobos instead of a bow this time Querida? " Lila looked in the mirror and made eye contact with her as she looked conflicted.
" Sure mami but can we do bows mañana? " Lila asked as August put the bobos in her hair.
August finished putting the last bobo in her hair as she turned the chair around so she could look at Lila.
" Te ves hermosa Querida! " August stated and took out her phone to take a picture.
She pulled Lila to stand as she held her phone up. " Lila I'm gonna take a picture for papi say 'cheese'. " she took the picture as Lila smiled and put her manicured hand on her hip.
August then took a picture of the two of them as they went off to get Matthew to take a picture with him before she dropped Lila off to school and her to work.
Lila ran down the stairs to her mama that held her arms open wide. " Bamos Matthew let's take a picture before we go! " August shouted as he ran from the kitchen into her arms wearing a very cute outfit she picked out for him.
" Here mami take a photo of us quickly. " she gave her mom her phone then bent down for the picture while the kids put their arms around her as they all smiled.
" Ok Lila get the smoothie on the counter and grab your bolsa. " August turned to Lila and then turned back to Matthew.
" Papito, mami I love you both I will see you when I get out of work I'll be home before papi so I might get here earlier. " she kisses her mother on the cheek and her son on the forehead.
August and Lila then run to the car to get to the school.
" Mami can you turn on Benito? " Lila smiles as she knows her mom gets hype when she hears Bad Bunny.
" I knew I raised you right mamita. " August shouted then laughed as she put on Bad Bunny.
