~Chapter 14- Date Night~
"Hey guys it's me Jay! Yeah I know what your thinking, where's Dani and Rider? Well we decided we should make our own videos every once in a while and I decided why don't I do my video today!" I say as I look into the camera
"Jay? Is that you?" My mom calls from upstairs
I sigh.
"Yeah mom?"
"Can you stop filming for five minutes and help me?"
"Alright well I don't know if you heard her or not but I will see you guys in the next try. Later guys."
I put my hand over the camera and end the video.
"Let's hope this won't take long." I mutter as I climb the stairs
I get upstairs and knock on my mom's bedroom door.
The door flies open in seconds to reveal my mom, a lady who thinks wearing her hoodie with stains on it is something to wear to a nice restaurant. But no she is wearing an actual dress.
"Finally your here! What took you so long?" She says anxious
"I had to walk upstairs."
"Don't be smart with me. I'm freaking out! I need your opinion."
"Please don't tell me it's about clothes." I beg
"It's about clothes." She says giving me a weak smile
"I'm out. Peace!"
Before I even make it to the door she stops me.
"And just where are you going?"
When I turn around she has her hands on her hips and has her 'I'm going to ground you in you don't help me face'.
"But you had a daughter for this exact reason." I say
"Yes well. Your sister is working and won't be back till later."
I groan. "Fine. What am I helping you get ready for?"
I walk over and sit on the edge of her bed.
"A date."
"Like a real date."
"Yes."
"Like going to an actual restaurant and not to a bar where you can wear your favorite hoodie with the stains on it."
"Yes. What's the big deal?" She laughs a little
"Nothing it's just I'm happy your getting out there again."
"Aww thank you sweetie."
And she comes in for the kill which is where she hugs me then kisses me on the cheek with her bright red lipstick, so it stays till I wash it off.
"Hey! I'm home!" A voice yells from downstairs
"Great! Now she can help you." I say getting up from her bed
"Rebecca get up here!" My mom yells. "And you, you stay here."
"Ok mom I'll be up there in a second." My sister yells back
"Mom I think she brought home another guy."
"But isn't she with that one guy."
"No but I'll go see."
"Wait why do you care?" My mom asks before I run out of her room
"Because I'm the man of the house."
With that I run out of my mom's room and down the hall to the stairs. But once I get to the top of the stairs I slow my pace.
"Can't we go up to your room?" A husky voice says
One point for Jay.
"Not today. Both my mom and my brother are home and plus you heard my mom she wants me." My sister replies
"Ok babe."
I slowly creep downstairs and right on time to see them making out.
So you want to know how I broke that up, well this is how.
"COUGH COUGH!"
In a flash they break apart.
"JAY!" My sister yells. "I'll call you."
Then she pushes him out the door and closes it right in his face.
"Well that was fun." I say
"God you are soooooo....."
"So what?"
"Ugh!"
I laugh as she stomps past me upstairs to help my mom.
"Back to filming." I say rubbing my hands together like I'm an evil villain going through his 'master plan'
I go back to the living room where I have Rider's camera already set up and ready to record take 2 of my video.
Right as I sit down on the couch ready to press the record button the doorbell rings.
"You've got to be kidding me."
Usually I would be all for answering the door to see if either I got a packet or one of friends is at the door. But right now when I'm about the record a video that's not ok.
I get to the door and throw it open to come face to face with the guy my sister was locking lips with moments ago.
"Is Rebecca home?" He asks
"Of course she's home you dummy. You just dropped her off." I snap
"Do you know when she will call me?"
I can tell by the look on his face he is kind of embarrass talking to me because I caught them making out.
"I honestly have no idea." I sigh
He looks past me hoping he might see my sister behind me but he doesn't and I know this because of his facial expression.
"What's the camera for?" He asks out of nowhere
"Oh..uh well i'm trying to record a video to update onto my YouTube channel."
"Oh that's cool! Have you heard of We..."
Before he can finish his sentence he realizes.
"Your Jay from We_Shining_Stars."
"In the flesh. Why don't you come in." I say moving aside so he can come in
Right as I close the front door my sister comes downstairs.
"Parker what are you still doing here?" She asks
"Oh! Your brother invited me in." He says pointing at me
"Oh did he now. Jay a word."
I follow her into the kitchen away from the front door where Parker still is.
"Why did you invite him in?!"
"Because he seemed interested in my videos.." I start but she interrupts me
"You told him about your stupid YouTube videos!"
"Their not stupid. Their entertaining."
"My boyfriend can't be your friend."
"Boyfriend? Ha! I'm pretty sure you just found him while you were 'working'."
I guess both of us didn't hear footsteps over our fighting because the next time Rebecca looks away from me she stops.
"Parker?" She says a little sad and shocked
"I think I'm gonna go. Nice meeting you Jay."
With that he leaves.
"Thanks Jay. Now I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to come back." Rebecca says before she runs upstairs trying to hold in the tears
I stand there not sure what I should do, make my video or apologize to my sister and knowing me I put A.
Rebecca's POV:
God! Why does he have to be so annoying! Ugh!
I get back to my mom's room and help her get ready.
"So who's the guy?" I ask
"So some guy I meet at one of my social groups. His name is Bryan." She says as she brushes her hair
"What are you guys doing tonight?"
"That is none of your business."
"Oh ok."
We finish getting my mom ready. Then the doorbell rings.
"Jay could you get that!" I yell
"Alright!" He yells back
In minutes my mom is dressed and ready to go. Together we was downstairs and see Jay and a guy in his late forties talking.
"Bryan." My mom says and he turns and looks in her direction
"Wow Sally you look beautiful." He says
"Oh thank you!"
Then she turns towards Jay and I.
"We will be out for a few hours. You can order pizza if you like. Love you too!"
With that they walk out the front door.

Hope you guys like this book so far. Yes I know there weren't any games that Jay, Dani, and Rider did in this chapter but there will be a game next chapter!
